The...For homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) combustion, the auto-ignition process is very sensitive to in-cylinder conditions, including in-cylinder temperature, in-cylinder components and concentrations. Therefore, accurate control is required for reliable and efficient HCCI combustion. This paper outlines a simplified gasoline-fueled HCCI engine model implemented in Simulink environment. The model is able to run in real-time and with fixed simulation steps with the aim of cycle-to-cycle control and hardware- in-the-loop simulation. With the aim of controlling the desired amount of the trapped exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) from the previous cycle, the phase of the intake and exhaust valves and the respective profiles are designed to vary in this model. The model is able to anticipate the auto-ignition timing and the in-cylinder pressure and temperature. The validation has been conducted using a comparison of the experimental results on Ricardo Hydro engine published in a research by Tianjin University and a JAGUAR V6 HCCI test engine at the University of Birmingham. The comparison shows the typical HCCI combustion and a fair agreement between the simulation and experimental results.展开更多

Dynamic responses and Lyapunov exponents show that chaos and limit cycles will arise for some ranges of load torque with certain PI speed controller setting. Stable drives are required for conventional applications, but chaotic rotation can promote efficiency or improve dynamic characteristics of drives. However, there are still controversies in...The impact of environmental regulation on technology innovation is a hot spot in current research where a large number of empirical studies are based on Porter Hypothesis(PH). However, there are still controversies in academia about the establishment of "weak" and "narrow" versions of PH. Based on the panel data of application for patent of energy conservation and emission reduction(ECER) technology of Chinese city scale during 2008-2014, comprehensive energy price, pollutant emission, etc., mixed regression model and systematic generalized method of moments method were adopted, respectively,to study the impact of market-oriented and command-and-control policy tool on China's ECER technology innovation. The results show that the environmental regulation hindered the technological innovation in the immediate phase; however, it turned out to be positive in the first-lag phase. Hence, the establishment of "weak" PH is time-bounded. The command-and-control policy tool played a more positive role in promoting technological innovation in the first-lag phase than market-oriented policy tool. Therefore, "narrow" PH is not tenable. The reason is that the main participants of China's ECER technology innovation are state-owned companies and public institutions. Regionally speaking, the impact which command-and-control policy tool has on technological innovation at sight was nonsignificant in the eastern, the central, and the western regions of China whilst market-oriented policy tool had a negative effect. And market-oriented policy tool in the central region had strongest negative effect, which would diminish in the eastern region and become weakest in the western region. This was related to regional energy consumption level and the market economic vitality.展开更多

Filler-reinforced polymer composites demonstrate pervasive applications due to their strengthened performances,multi-degree tunability,and ease of manufacturing.In thermal management field,polymer composites reinforce...Filler-reinforced polymer composites demonstrate pervasive applications due to their strengthened performances,multi-degree tunability,and ease of manufacturing.In thermal management field,polymer composites reinforced with thermally conductive fillers are widely adopted as thermal interface materials(TIMs).However,the three dimensional(3D)-stacked heterogenous integration of electronic devices has posed the problem that high-density heat sources are spatially distributed in the package.This situation puts forward new requirements for TIMs,where efficient heat dissipation channels must be established according to the specific distribution of discrete heat sources.To address this challenge,a 3D printing-assisted streamline orientation(3D-PSO)method was proposed to fabricate composite thermal materials with 3D programmable microstructures and orientations of fillers,which combines the shape-design capability of 3D printing and oriented control ability of fluid.The mechanism of fluid-based filler orientation control along streamlines was revealed by mechanical analysis of fillers in matrix.Thanks to the designed heat dissipation channels,composites showed better thermal and mechanical properties in comparison to random composites.Specifically,the thermal conductivity of 3D mesh-shape polydimethylsiloxane/liquid metal(PDMS/LM)composite was5.8 times that of random PDMS/LM composite under filler loading of 34.8 vol%.The thermal conductivity enhancement efficiency of 3D mesh-shape PDMS/carbon fibers composite reached101.05%under filler loading of 5.2 vol%.In the heat dissipation application of 3D-stacked chips,the highest chip temperature with 3D-PSO composite was 42.14℃lower than that with random composites.This is mainly attributed to the locally aggregated and oriented fillers'microstructure in fluid channels,which contributes to thermal percolation phenomena.The3D-PSO method exhibits excellent programmable design capabilities to adopt versatile distributions of heat sources,paving a new way to solve the complicated heat dissipation issue in 3D-stacked chips integration application.展开更多

The algorithm structure is simple to be implemented and cannot be influenced by motor parameters, The improved stator flux estimation is used to compensate errors caused by the low pass filter (LPF). A new speed regulator is designed to ensure the system working with the maximal torque in the transient state. The system simulation and the prototype experiment are made. [ Method ] Using ...[ Objective ] The paper was to explore the damage, occurrence pattern and integrated control methods of oriental fruit fly [ Bactrocera dorsalis ( Hen- del) ] in Nanning region of Guangxi Province. [ Method ] Using fixed system survey method, with fruit fly attractants as the materials, the occurrence dynamic of oriental fruit fly adult in guava orchard was investigated. The control effects of the methods such as fruit fly attractants, fruit bagging, cleaning park to pick up fallen fruit and timely spraying pesticide against the pest were also studied. [ Result] Oriental fruit fly had two damage peak periods in Nanning region of Guangxi Prov- ince (May to June, August to September). Through the integrated control measures of trapping agent for male flies, timely spraying, fruit bagging and cleaning park to pick up fallen fruit, the population density in guava orchard dropped significantly. The fruit damage rates of guava in research base were only 6.67% -7.33% during the peak period of oriental fruit fly in June 2008, while they were 90.53% -98.00% in control area, obtaining good control effect against the pest. [ Con- dttalon ] The method used in the study preliminarily restored the yield losses of guava, which also provided basis for the preparation of overall strategy against orien- tal fruit fly in the region.展开更多

The ideas of single queue scheduling(SQS) and dual queue scheduling (DQS) are proposed and the algorithm and the performance evaluation for these two scheduling are presented in some paper. This paper describes a new idea of thescheduling for MGL, compatible requests first (CRF). Combining the new idea with SQS and DQS,we propose two new scheduling algorithms called CRFS and CRFD. After describing the simulationmodel, this paper illustrates the comparisons of the performance among these four algorithms. Asshown in the experiments, DQS has better performance than SQS, CRFD is better than DQS, CRFSperforms better than SQS, and CRFS is the best one of these four scheduling algorithms.展开更多

The algorithm structure is simple to be implemented and cannot be influenced by motor parameters, The improved stator flux estimation is used to compensate errors caused by the low pass filter (LPF). A new speed regulator is designed to ensure the system working with the maximal torque in the transient state. The system simulation and the prototype experiment are made. Results show that the con- trol system has good dynamic and static performance.

文摘[ Objective ] The paper was to explore the damage, occurrence pattern and integrated control methods of oriental fruit fly [ Bactrocera dorsalis ( Hen- del) ] in Nanning region of Guangxi Province. [ Method ] Using fixed system survey method, with fruit fly attractants as the materials, the occurrence dynamic of oriental fruit fly adult in guava orchard was investigated. The control effects of the methods such as fruit fly attractants, fruit bagging, cleaning park to pick up fallen fruit and timely spraying pesticide against the pest were also studied. [ Result] Oriental fruit fly had two damage peak periods in Nanning region of Guangxi Prov- ince (May to June, August to September). Through the integrated control measures of trapping agent for male flies, timely spraying, fruit bagging and cleaning park to pick up fallen fruit, the population density in guava orchard dropped significantly. The fruit damage rates of guava in research base were only 6.67% -7.33% during the peak period of oriental fruit fly in June 2008, while they were 90.53% -98.00% in control area, obtaining good control effect against the pest. [ Con- dttalon ] The method used in the study preliminarily restored the yield losses of guava, which also provided basis for the preparation of overall strategy against orien- tal fruit fly in the region.
文摘Peeling trunk,binding insect-attracting belt,cleaning orchard and soil-covering under the crown were the control methods on overwintering generation of oriental fruit moth.However,they had not been applied widely on the production because of the lack of systematic quantitative evaluation.Aiming at this fact,the control effects of these technical measures were studied in peach with different ripening period.The results showed that peeling trunk was the best with the control effect of88.64%.The control effect of binding insect-attracting belt of grass bundle was74.13%,which was the most economical and efficient.Covering with soil layer of 3cm under the crown during the middle ten days of March could holdback the adult getting out from soil.Cleaning deadwood could clean out the overwintering larvae on the ground.

文摘[ Objective] The paper was to study the parasitic ability and field control effect of Pyemotes sp. against oriental fruit moth (Grapholitha molesta Bussck) which caused damage on Photinia. [ Method] The indoor infection test and field control test of Pyemotes sp. against oriental fruit moth was carried out. The parasitic ability and activity characteristic of Pyemotes sp. were observed, and the effect of environmental factors such as humidity and temperature on the para- sitic ability of Pyemotes sp. was studied. [Result] Pyemotes sp. had good control effect on oriental fruit moth under the proper conditions; the host searching abili- ties of Pyemotes sp. were different at different temperature and humidity conditions, humidity had large impact on the activity of Pyemotes sp., while temperature had large impact on the individual activity. [ Conclusion] The result showed that Pyemotes sp. had effective control effort on oriental fruit moth.
文摘The bearingless induction motor, which combines the inductionmotor and magnetic bearing is a strongly coupled complicatednonlinear system; the decoupling control of the electromag- net toqueand readial levitation force is the base of the stable operation ofthe benaringless motor. In this paper, the air-gap motor fluxoriented vector control is proposed to realize the decoupling controlof this nonlinear system even in the transient case based on thelevitation principle. Simulations show the stable suspension and goodperformance of the proposed algorithm.

文摘The grain orientation control via twinning activity on deformation features is of great significance to offer a key insight into understanding the deformation mechanism of Mg alloy sheets.The{10–12}twinning were performed by pre-strain paths,i.e.,tension(6%)and compression(5%)perpendicular to the c-axis along extrusion direction(ED),to investigate the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of AZ31 Mg alloy sheets.The distinction in the texture evolution and strain hardening behavior was illustrated in connection with the pre-strain paths for the activities of twinning and slip.The result shows that the activation of the deformation mode was closely bound up with the grain orientation and the additional applied load direction.The{10–12}twin-texture components with c-axis//ED were generated by precompression,which can provide an appropriate alternative to accommodate the thin sheet thickness strain and enhance the room temperature formability of Mg alloy sheet.

文摘Most existing formation control approaches for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)swarm assume that global position and global coordinate frame are directly available for each agent.To extend the application domain,this paper proposes a distributed bearing-based formation control scheme,without any reliance on global position or global coordinate frame.The interactions among UAVs are described by a directed topology with two-leader structure.To address the issue of unavailable global coordinate frame,we first present a distributed orientation estimation law for each UAV to determine its orientation under the coordinate frame of the first leader.Based on the orientation estimation,we then design a bearing-based formation control law to globally asymptotically track target moving formations.Finally,simulation results are provided to validate the proposed method,which show that the translation,scale and orientation of the formation can be flexibly controlled via two leaders.

文摘This paper introduces a multi-granularity locking model (MGL) for concurrency control in object-oriented database system briefiy, and presents a MGL model formally. Four lockingscheduling algorithms for MGL are proposed in the paper. The ideas of single queue scheduling(SQS) and dual queue scheduling (DQS) are proposed and the algorithm and the performance evaluation for these two scheduling are presented in some paper. This paper describes a new idea of thescheduling for MGL, compatible requests first (CRF). Combining the new idea with SQS and DQS,we propose two new scheduling algorithms called CRFS and CRFD. After describing the simulationmodel, this paper illustrates the comparisons of the performance among these four algorithms. Asshown in the experiments, DQS has better performance than SQS, CRFD is better than DQS, CRFSperforms better than SQS, and CRFS is the best one of these four scheduling algorithms.
