In order to apply the iterative learn...The design of iterative learning controller(ILC) requires to store the system input, output or control parameters of previous trials for generating the input of the current trial. In order to apply the iterative learning controller for a real application and reduce the memory size for implementation, a current error based sampled-data proportional-derivative(PD) type iterative learning controller is proposed for control systems with initial resetting error, input disturbance and output measurement noise in this paper.The proposed iterative learning controller is simple and effective. The first contribution in this paper is to prove the learning error convergence via a rigorous technical analysis. It is shown that the learning error will converge to a residual set if a forgetting factor is introduced in the controller. All the theoretical results are also shown by computer simulations. The second main contribution is to realize the iterative learning controller by a digital circuit using a field programmable gate array(FPGA) chip applied to repetitive position tracking control of direct current(DC) motors. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed current error based sampleddata iterative learning controller are demonstrated by the experiment results. Finally, the relationship between learning performance and design parameters are also discussed extensively.展开更多
The rapid-cycling synchrotron(RCS)is a crucial device for proton beam acceleration at the China Spallation Neutron Source,operating at a repetition frequency of 25 Hz.The beam power was increased from 100 kW to 140 kW...The rapid-cycling synchrotron(RCS)is a crucial device for proton beam acceleration at the China Spallation Neutron Source,operating at a repetition frequency of 25 Hz.The beam power was increased from 100 kW to 140 kW.This increase makes the on-orbit beam more sensitive to disturbances in various parts of the accelerator,including the RCS magnet power supply system.This paper presents a method for reducing the high-order harmonic current error in resonant power supplies for dipole magnets and examines its impact on the horizontal orbit offset of the beam.It adopts a control scheme that combines high-order harmonic current compensation with PI double-loop control of the resonant power supply.By utilizing the existing digital controller hardware in the RCS power supply system,this study demonstrates how to achieve precise control of the 50 Hz harmonic current output in a cost-effective manner.Ultimately,it enhances performance by reducing the current error by up to 50%and provides methodological support for future upgrades to the power supply system.Such improvements enhance the stability of the RCS,reducing the beam horizontal orbit deviation by at least 19.8%.展开更多

In order to deeply undertand the function of the modulator, a theoretical model of modulation effect to AOFCTs is built up in this paper. The effect of the amplitude of the modulation signal to the output intensity of AOFCTs is theoretically formulated and numerical calculated. The results show that the modulation voltage variation could affect the output accuracies significantly. This might be some references on the investigation for practical applications of AOFCTs.展开更多

By analyzing the characteristic of photo-detector's output, a measurement and signal processing scheme based on sine wave modulation and demodulation was put forward for eliminating the influence of light intensity change and modulation degree change. A digital signal processing system and a calibration scheme were also advanced. The experimental data show that the mean ratio error is 0.016 74% for direct current and 0.035% for alternating current, and the correlation coefficient of linearity is up to 0.999 982 4, meeting the precision requirement of 0.2 grade. Stability experiments and temperature drift experiments show the AFOCT has a better stable capability.展开更多

The Doppler frequency or interferometric phase of the radar echoes can be used for an ocean surface current speed retrieval,which is widely used in spaceborne and airborne radars. While the effect of the ocean currents and waves is interactional. It is impossible to retrieve the ocean surface current speed from Doppler frequency shift directly. In order to study the relationship between the ocean surface current speed and the Doppler frequency shift, a numerical ocean surface Doppler spectrum model is established and validated with a reference. The input parameters of ocean Doppler spectrum include an ocean wave elevation model, a directional distribution function, and wind speed and direction. The suitable ocean wave elevation spectrum and the directional distribution function are selected by comparing the ocean Doppler spectrum in C band with an empirical geophysical model function(CDOP). What is more, the error sensitivities of ocean surface current speed to the wind speed and direction are analyzed. All these simulations are in Ku band. The simulation results show that the ocean surface current speed error is sensitive to the wind speed and direction errors. With VV polarization, the ocean surface current speed error is about 0.15 m/s when the wind speed error is 2 m/s, and the ocean surface current speed error is smaller than 0.3 m/s when the wind direction error is within 20° in the cross wind direction.展开更多
