Predictive cruise control(PCC)is an intelligence-assisted control technology that can significantly improve the overall performance of a vehicle by using road and traffic information in advance.With the continuous dev...Predictive cruise control(PCC)is an intelligence-assisted control technology that can significantly improve the overall performance of a vehicle by using road and traffic information in advance.With the continuous development of cloud control platforms(CCPs)and telematics boxes(T-boxes),cloud-based predictive cruise control(CPCC)systems are considered an effective solution to the problems of map update difficulties and insufficient computing power on the vehicle side.In this study,a vehicle-cloud hierarchical control architecture for PCC is designed based on a CCP and T-box.This architecture utilizes waypoint structures for hierarchical and dynamic cooperative inter-triggering,enabling rolling optimization of the system and commending parsing at the vehicle end.This approach significantly improves the anti-interference capability and resolution efficiency of the system.On the CCP side,a predictive fuel-saving speed-planning(PFSP)algorithm that considers the throttle input,speed variations,and time efficiency based on the waypoint structure is proposed.It features a forward optimization search without requiring weight adjustments,demonstrating robust applicability to various road conditions and vehicles equiped with constant cruise(CC)system.On the vehicle-side T-box,based on the reference control sequence with the global navigation satellite system position,the recommended speed is analyzed and controlled using the acute angle principle.Through analyzing the differences of the PFSP algorithm compared to dynamic programming(DP)and Model predictive control(MPC)algorithms under uphill and downhill conditions,the results show that the PFSP achieves good energy-saving performance compared to CC without exhibiting significant speed fluctuations,demonstrating strong adaptability to the CC system.Finally,by building an experimental platform and running field tests over a total of 2000 km,we verified the effectiveness and stability of the CPCC system and proved the fuel-saving performance of the proposed PFSP algorithm.The results showed that the CPCC system equipped with the PFSP algorithm achieved an average fuel-saving rate of 2.05%-4.39%compared to CC.展开更多
The outbreak and subsequent recurring waves of COVID−19 pose threats on the emergency management and people's daily life,while the large-scale spatio-temporal epidemiological data have sure come in handy in epidem...The outbreak and subsequent recurring waves of COVID−19 pose threats on the emergency management and people's daily life,while the large-scale spatio-temporal epidemiological data have sure come in handy in epidemic surveillance.Nonetheless,some challenges remain to be addressed in terms of multi-source heterogeneous data fusion,deep mining,and comprehensive applications.The Spatio-Temporal Artificial Intelligence(STAI)technology,which focuses on integrating spatial related time-series data,artificial intelligence models,and digital tools to provide intelligent computing platforms and applications,opens up new opportunities for scientific epidemic control.To this end,we leverage STAI and long-term experience in location-based intelligent services in the work.Specifically,we devise and develop a STAI-driven digital infrastructure,namely,WAYZ Disease Control Intelligent Platform(WDCIP),which consists of a systematic framework for building pipelines from automatic spatio-temporal data collection,processing to AI-based analysis and inference implementation for providing appropriate applications serving various epidemic scenarios.According to the platform implementation logic,our work can be performed and summarized from three aspects:(1)a STAI-driven integrated system;(2)a hybrid GNN-based approach for hierarchical risk assessment(as the core algorithm of WDCIP);and(3)comprehensive applications for social epidemic containment.This work makes a pivotal contribution to facilitating the aggregation and full utilization of spatio-temporal epidemic data from multiple sources,where the real-time human mobility data generated by high-precision mobile positioning plays a vital role in sensing the spread of the epidemic.So far,WDCIP has accumulated more than 200 million users who have been served in life convenience and decision-making during the pandemic.展开更多

The application of air cavities on the underside of ship hulls is a promising means for r...This paper addresses the development and testing of a remotely controlled boat platform with an innovative air-ventilated hull. The application of air cavities on the underside of ship hulls is a promising means for reducing hydrodynamic drag and pollutant emissions and increasing marine transportation efficiency. Despite this concept's potential, design optimization and high-performance operation of novel air-cavity ships remain a challenging problem. Hull construction and sensor instrumentation of the model-scale air-cavity boat is described in the paper. The modular structure of the hull allows for easy modifications, and an electric propulsion unit enables self-propelled operation. The boat is controlled remotely via a radio transmission system. Results of initial tests are reported, including thrust, speed, and airflow rate in several loading conditions. The constructed platform can be used for optimizing air-cavity systems and testing other innovative hull designs. This system can be also developed into a high-performance unmanned boat.展开更多

The wave-induced force is the dominant load that offshore structures are subjected to, and it can be taken as harmonic excitation for the system. The linearized Morison equation is employed to estimate the wave loading. The main result concerns the existence and design of a realizable optimal regulator, which is proposed to damp the forced oscillation in an optimal fashion. For demonstration of the effectiveness of the control scheme, the platform performance is investigated for different wave states. The simulations are based on the tuned mass damper and the active mass damper control devices. It is demonstrated that the control scheme is useful in reducing the displacement response of jacket-type offshore platforms.展开更多

The controller identifies constant uncertain parameters using nonlinear adaptive controller associated with elimination of the influences of time-varying uncertain parameters and compensation of the external disturbance using sliding control. In this study, the offshore platform is simplified to be a singled degree-of-freedom (SDOF) system by extracting the first vibration mode of the structure. The external 'generalized' wave force is determined with a white noise via a designed filter. A semi-active control method based on optimal control theory is proposed considering that the yield stress of the MR damper can he varied continuously within a certain range. The dynamics of SDOF structure coupled with the MR damper is investigated. Numerical simulation demonstrates that the MR damper with this control strategy can significantly reduce the maximum responses and the root-mean-square (RMS) values.展开更多

CMGs have long been used for satellite attitude control. In this paper, the influence of flexible solar arrays on a passive multi-strut VIP of CMGs for a satellite is analyzed. The reasonable parameters design of flexi- ble solar arrays is discussed. Firstly, the dynamic model of the integrated satellite with flexible solar arrays, the VIP and CMGs is conducted by Newton-Euler method. Then based on reasonable assumptions, the transmissibility matrix of the VIP is derived. Secondly, the influences of the flexible solar arrays on both the performance of the VIP and the stability of closed-loop control systems are analyzed in detail. The parameter design limitation of these solar arrays is discussed. At last, by selecting reasonable parameters for both the VIP and flexible solar arrays, the attitude stabilization performance with vibration isolation system is predicted via simulation.展开更多

With the main advantages of neural network, i...A new active control scheme, based on neural network, for the suppression of oscillation in multiple-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) offshore platforms, is studied in this paper. With the main advantages of neural network, i.e. the inherent robustness, fault tolerance, and generalized capability of its parallel massive interconnection structure, the active structural control of offshore platforms under random waves is accomplished by use of the BP neural network model. The neural network is trained offline with the data generated from numerical analysis, and it simulates the process of Classical Linear Quadratic Regular Control for the platform under random waves. After the learning phase, the trained network has learned about the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the active control system, and is capable of predicting the active control forces of the next time steps. The results obtained show that the active control is feasible and effective, and it finally overcomes time delay owing to the robustness, fault tolerance, and generalized capability of artificial neural network.展开更多

Since the st...A template offshore platform, located in the Bohai Bay of China, has exhibited excessive, unexpected vibration under mildly hostile sea conditions, which has affected the normal operation of the platform. Since the structure was designed to sustain more severe wave climate, the cause of the excessive vibration has been suspected to originate from other sources. The main objectives of this study are to investigate the causes of the excessive vibration, and to explore possible remedies to solve the problem. In this paper, the vibration behavior of the offshore platform is analyzed by means of finite element (FE) modeling, field measurements and laboratory test. Results of analysis suggest that relative movement and impact between the piles and the jacket legs exist, i.e. the piles and the jacket are not perfectly connected. The disconnection of the piles and jacket weakens the overall stiffness of the platform, and therefore produces unexpected excessive vibration. In this study, measures for reducing the excessive vibration are proposed to control the response of the platform.展开更多

A new SMA damper and its restoring force model are introduced for the calculation of seismic response reduction. Based on an actual platform structure and its mechanical model, the parameters which may affect the rate of shock absorption are analyzed, such as the number, position and characteristics of the SMA dampers and the condition of the site where the platform is located. The results show that the SMA damper is an effective control device for offshore platforms and satisfactory control can be achieved by proper selection of the parameters.展开更多

The linear acutor is constructed as a linear stepper motor. However, to sustain both high accuracy and high speed for the position and speed control, A single-stack computer system is constructed and a special control algorithm is prescribed to controled the linear actuator continuously. In this paper, the nonlinear errors resulted from the magnetic saturation and the hysteresis is anaysis and discussed. In the view of electromagnetic propotional control, the actuator is a stage proportional magnet, because the driving current to the linear acuator changes for a number of cycles and a series of reset points will occur as the current undergoes cyclic changes. At each reset point the original starting characteristics of the system are re-established. A large number of reset points across the full stroke of the platform results in a significant reduction in the nonlinear behavior. The stage control is first discussed. Experiments carried out to obtain the characteristics of the mobile platform control system. It is demonstrated that with the introduction of stage control, nonlinearities, such as saturation and hysteresis, are greatly reduced, system stiffness is increased, and the positioning accuracy and resolution are improved. The effect of dither due to a "digital fragment" signal is also examined and found to be crucial in reducing the hysteresis and in improving the resolution accuracy.展开更多

Based on the equation of motion for the CTLCD-structure system, the optimal control parameters of CTLCD are given through some derivations on the supposition that the ground motion is a stochastic process. The influence of systematic parameters on the equivalent damping ratio of the structures is analyzed with purely torsional vibration and translational-torsional coupled vibration, respectively. Analysis of the dynamic response of the MDOF structure is realized taking the non-linearity of the wave drag force and the wave-structure interaction into account. The structural response statistics, which have Gaussian distributions, are used to evaluate the vibration effect of the structure without TMD and with TMD. And an optimal method to design TMD controlling the first mode of the multi-mode structure is proposed. Moreover, the probabilities of occurrence of sea states at the platform site are considered for prediction of the long-term effect of a TMD. Simulation results demonstrate that the long-term effect of a well-designed TMD is good and the practical use is possible due to the good stability of its optimal parameters under different sea states.展开更多

Three models of constraint strategies include non-constraint model,elevating constraint model and lowering constraint model,which is designed to meet the leveling requirements in full working extent. Through the hydro-mechatronic unified modeling,a virtual prototype model is set up based on the auto-leveling mechanism,and leveling performances of the platform are studied during booms elevating to the maximum working height and extent. Simulation results show that the control method of booms-constraint can realize auto-leveling of the platform under two typical working conditions,meanwhile a leveling deviation appears at the constrained point,but the platform inclination is adjusted in the permissible range. The control method does not only restrict booms' freedom elevating to a certain extent,but also impacts the booms extending to the maximum working range. Experimental results verify that the auto-leveling mechanism based on booms-constraint control is valid and rational,which provides an effective technology approach for development of the platform leveling of MAV.展开更多

TLCGD is an interesting choice in the case of jacke...In this study, the effectiveness of a tuned liquid column-gas damper, TLCGD, on the.suppression of seismic-induced vibrations of steel jacket platforms is evaluated. TLCGD is an interesting choice in the case of jacket platforms because it is possible to use the structural elements as the horizontal column of the TLCGD. The objective here is to find the optimum geometric parameters, namely orientation and configuration of vertical columns, length ratio, and area ratio of the TLCGD, considering nonlinear damping of the TLCGD and water-structure interaction between the jacket platform and sea water. The effects of different characteristics of ground motion such as PGA and frequency content on the optimum geometry are also investigated and it is observed that these features have some influence on the optimum area ratio. Finally it is observed that pulse arrangement of ground acceleration is one of the most important parameters affecting the efficiency of a TLCGD. In other words, it is found that the TLCGD's capability to reduce the RMS responses depends only on the frequency content of the ground acceleration, but its capability to reduce the maximum responses depends on both the frequency content and the pulse arrangement of the ground acceleration.展开更多

文摘The objective of the present research is to examine the effectiveness of the lateral vibration control of wave-excited response of offshore platforms with magneto-rheological (MR) damper. In this study, the offshore platform is simplified to be a singled degree-of-freedom (SDOF) system by extracting the first vibration mode of the structure. The external 'generalized' wave force is determined with a white noise via a designed filter. A semi-active control method based on optimal control theory is proposed considering that the yield stress of the MR damper can he varied continuously within a certain range. The dynamics of SDOF structure coupled with the MR damper is investigated. Numerical simulation demonstrates that the MR damper with this control strategy can significantly reduce the maximum responses and the root-mean-square (RMS) values.
文摘A high-performance vibration isolation platform (VIP) has been developed for a cluster of control moment gyroscopes (CMGs). CMGs have long been used for satellite attitude control. In this paper, the influence of flexible solar arrays on a passive multi-strut VIP of CMGs for a satellite is analyzed. The reasonable parameters design of flexi- ble solar arrays is discussed. Firstly, the dynamic model of the integrated satellite with flexible solar arrays, the VIP and CMGs is conducted by Newton-Euler method. Then based on reasonable assumptions, the transmissibility matrix of the VIP is derived. Secondly, the influences of the flexible solar arrays on both the performance of the VIP and the stability of closed-loop control systems are analyzed in detail. The parameter design limitation of these solar arrays is discussed. At last, by selecting reasonable parameters for both the VIP and flexible solar arrays, the attitude stabilization performance with vibration isolation system is predicted via simulation.
文摘A new active control scheme, based on neural network, for the suppression of oscillation in multiple-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) offshore platforms, is studied in this paper. With the main advantages of neural network, i.e. the inherent robustness, fault tolerance, and generalized capability of its parallel massive interconnection structure, the active structural control of offshore platforms under random waves is accomplished by use of the BP neural network model. The neural network is trained offline with the data generated from numerical analysis, and it simulates the process of Classical Linear Quadratic Regular Control for the platform under random waves. After the learning phase, the trained network has learned about the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the active control system, and is capable of predicting the active control forces of the next time steps. The results obtained show that the active control is feasible and effective, and it finally overcomes time delay owing to the robustness, fault tolerance, and generalized capability of artificial neural network.
文摘In order to overcome the defects of the dedicated video conference remote control, this paper designs and implements a Qt-based cross-platform video conferencing remote control. The remote control not only implements a full range of video conferencing control functions with an easy-to-use visual interface;but also implement cross-platform feature to allow users to use remote control software on their own equipment. It is economic, convenient and stylish for users. This paper mainly describes the design and implementation of remote control system framework and cross-platform features. Finally, the result in the paper shows: This remote control is reliable and easy to use.

文摘A template offshore platform, located in the Bohai Bay of China, has exhibited excessive, unexpected vibration under mildly hostile sea conditions, which has affected the normal operation of the platform. Since the structure was designed to sustain more severe wave climate, the cause of the excessive vibration has been suspected to originate from other sources. The main objectives of this study are to investigate the causes of the excessive vibration, and to explore possible remedies to solve the problem. In this paper, the vibration behavior of the offshore platform is analyzed by means of finite element (FE) modeling, field measurements and laboratory test. Results of analysis suggest that relative movement and impact between the piles and the jacket legs exist, i.e. the piles and the jacket are not perfectly connected. The disconnection of the piles and jacket weakens the overall stiffness of the platform, and therefore produces unexpected excessive vibration. In this study, measures for reducing the excessive vibration are proposed to control the response of the platform.
文摘In this study, the seismic response control of offshore platform structures with Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) dampers is investigated. A new SMA damper and its restoring force model are introduced for the calculation of seismic response reduction. Based on an actual platform structure and its mechanical model, the parameters which may affect the rate of shock absorption are analyzed, such as the number, position and characteristics of the SMA dampers and the condition of the site where the platform is located. The results show that the SMA damper is an effective control device for offshore platforms and satisfactory control can be achieved by proper selection of the parameters.
文摘The efficient manufacture technique involves a high-speed control of platform mobile system. A linear acutor is presented in this paper. The linear acutor is constructed as a linear stepper motor. However, to sustain both high accuracy and high speed for the position and speed control, A single-stack computer system is constructed and a special control algorithm is prescribed to controled the linear actuator continuously. In this paper, the nonlinear errors resulted from the magnetic saturation and the hysteresis is anaysis and discussed. In the view of electromagnetic propotional control, the actuator is a stage proportional magnet, because the driving current to the linear acuator changes for a number of cycles and a series of reset points will occur as the current undergoes cyclic changes. At each reset point the original starting characteristics of the system are re-established. A large number of reset points across the full stroke of the platform results in a significant reduction in the nonlinear behavior. The stage control is first discussed. Experiments carried out to obtain the characteristics of the mobile platform control system. It is demonstrated that with the introduction of stage control, nonlinearities, such as saturation and hysteresis, are greatly reduced, system stiffness is increased, and the positioning accuracy and resolution are improved. The effect of dither due to a "digital fragment" signal is also examined and found to be crucial in reducing the hysteresis and in improving the resolution accuracy.
文摘In this paper, the control performance is investigated of Circular Tuned Liquid Column Dampers (CTLCD) over torsional response of offshore platform structures excited by ground motions. Based on the equation of motion for the CTLCD-structure system, the optimal control parameters of CTLCD are given through some derivations on the supposition that the ground motion is a stochastic process. The influence of systematic parameters on the equivalent damping ratio of the structures is analyzed with purely torsional vibration and translational-torsional coupled vibration, respectively. The results show that the Circular Tuned Liquid Column Damper (CTLCD) is an effective torsional response control device.
文摘A three-dimensional fixed offshore platform in deep water modeled by the finite element method is studied in this paper. Analysis of the dynamic response of the MDOF structure is realized taking the non-linearity of the wave drag force and the wave-structure interaction into account. The structural response statistics, which have Gaussian distributions, are used to evaluate the vibration effect of the structure without TMD and with TMD. And an optimal method to design TMD controlling the first mode of the multi-mode structure is proposed. Moreover, the probabilities of occurrence of sea states at the platform site are considered for prediction of the long-term effect of a TMD. Simulation results demonstrate that the long-term effect of a well-designed TMD is good and the practical use is possible due to the good stability of its optimal parameters under different sea states.

文摘The content security requirements of a radio frequency identification (RFID) based logistics-customs clearance service platform (LCCSP) are analysed in this paper. Then, both the unified identity authentication and the access control modules are designed according to those analyses. Finally, the unified identity authentication and the access control on the business level are implemented separately. In the unified identity authentication module, based on an improved Kerberos-based authentication approach, a new control transfer method is proposed to solve the sharing problem of tickets among different servers of different departments. In the access control module, the functions of access controls are divided into different granularities to make the access control management more flexible. Moreover, the access control module has significant reference value for user management in similar systems.

文摘In order to achieve an automatic leveling function for work platforms of aerial vehicles with mixed-booms( MAV) in full elevating domain,an auto-leveling mechanism for the platform is proposed based on a control method of booms-constraint,where mixed-boom structures and elevating characteristics are considered. Three models of constraint strategies include non-constraint model,elevating constraint model and lowering constraint model,which is designed to meet the leveling requirements in full working extent. Through the hydro-mechatronic unified modeling,a virtual prototype model is set up based on the auto-leveling mechanism,and leveling performances of the platform are studied during booms elevating to the maximum working height and extent. Simulation results show that the control method of booms-constraint can realize auto-leveling of the platform under two typical working conditions,meanwhile a leveling deviation appears at the constrained point,but the platform inclination is adjusted in the permissible range. The control method does not only restrict booms' freedom elevating to a certain extent,but also impacts the booms extending to the maximum working range. Experimental results verify that the auto-leveling mechanism based on booms-constraint control is valid and rational,which provides an effective technology approach for development of the platform leveling of MAV.

文摘In this study, the effectiveness of a tuned liquid column-gas damper, TLCGD, on the.suppression of seismic-induced vibrations of steel jacket platforms is evaluated. TLCGD is an interesting choice in the case of jacket platforms because it is possible to use the structural elements as the horizontal column of the TLCGD. The objective here is to find the optimum geometric parameters, namely orientation and configuration of vertical columns, length ratio, and area ratio of the TLCGD, considering nonlinear damping of the TLCGD and water-structure interaction between the jacket platform and sea water. The effects of different characteristics of ground motion such as PGA and frequency content on the optimum geometry are also investigated and it is observed that these features have some influence on the optimum area ratio. Finally it is observed that pulse arrangement of ground acceleration is one of the most important parameters affecting the efficiency of a TLCGD. In other words, it is found that the TLCGD's capability to reduce the RMS responses depends only on the frequency content of the ground acceleration, but its capability to reduce the maximum responses depends on both the frequency content and the pulse arrangement of the ground acceleration.

文摘Vibrations inherently generated by on-board disturbance sources degrade the performance of the instruments in an on-orbit spacecraft,which have stringent accuracy requirements.The Stewart platform enables both track-positioning and vibration control.The strut of the Stewart platform is designed as a piezoelectric(PZT) element in series with a voice coil motor(VCM) element and a viscoelastic element.The track-positioning system uses a VCM as the main positioning control driver and a PZT as the positioning compensator.The vibration control system uses the characteristics of struts including active and passive control elements to attenuate the vibration.Simulation results indicate that the Stewart platform with the designed struts has good performance in tracking and vibration attenuation with different interference waves.
