Taizhou is an economically-developed port city on the golden coastline of China, characterized by typical coastal and combined green cores, mountains and waters, and special plants. This paper analyzed natural conditions and city features of Taizhou, assessed current construction of local urban forests, and proposed pertinent construction concepts in view of diversifi ed needs of urban development on forest construction. On the basis of the city development, principles of urban forest layout were put forward, and the overall structure of "one core, one belt, two rings, three corridors, four groups, fi ve windows, and multiple bases" was given for the construction of urban forest in coastal landscape cities, in addition, the effect and feasibility of the layout were analyzed. 展开更多

A new concept of continental construction based on four main terms:(1)crustal growth,(2)crustal formation,(3)continental growth and(4)continental formation is presented here.Each of these terms reflects a certain process responsible for the formation of what we call now“continental crust”.This concept is applied to the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB),which is a global major accretionary orogen formed after the closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean,and to its actualistic analogues–orogenic belts and accretionary complexes of the Western Pacific.The main focuses of the paper are the state of activities in the study of the CAOB,the theoretical basics of the new concept of continental construction,its challenges,prospects and social impacts,main methods of investigation.The main issues of the paper are what has been done in this field of geoscience,which questions remained unaddressed and which problems should be solved.The most important challenges are:(a)dominantly Phanerozoic formation of the CAOB continental crust versus its dominantly Archean growth;(b)to what extent the CAOB continental crust was juvenile or recycled;(c)whether magmatic arcs or Gondwana-derived terranes were accreted to the Siberian,Kazakhstan,Tarim and North China cratons;(d)what was the balance between continental formation and tectonic erosion based on modern examples from the Western Pacific;(e)what social benefits(mineral deposits)and geohazards(seismicity and volcanism)can be inferred from the study of orogenic belts formed in place of former oceans. 展开更多

Inspired by this idea, an approach that constructs lower concept semi-lattice called non-frequent concept semi-lattice in this paper is introduced, and the method is based on subposition assembly. Primarily, we illustrate the theoretical framework of subposition assembly for non-frequent concept semi-lattice. Second, an algorithm called Nocose based on this framework is proposed. Especially in the rainy season in July and August, the flooding problem in the city has been highlighted, which has brought potential safety hazards, not only threatening the safety of residents' lives, but also damaging the ranks of roads and bridges and reducing the service life of roads and bridges. In order to adapt to the construction concept of "Sponge City" and improve the design and construction level of local roads and bridges, relevant design knowledge must be used in the design and research of urban roads and bridges. The roads and bridges in the city have a lot of urban space. By doing a good job in the construction and design of roads and bridges, urban environmental problems can be effectively improved. In order to carry out the construction and design of roads and bridges, the concept of sponge city can be used to improve the urban environment and meet the need of optimal allocation of water resources. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of urban ecosystem construction, the systematic design of roads and bridges should be strengthened. 展开更多

Promoting regional coordinated development strategy is one of the important strategies in the new period of China.Faced with the reality of unbalanced and insufficient regional development in China,it is objectively necessary to construct one or more main axes supporting the coordinated and balanced development of regions to become the identification line representing the pattern of coordinated regional development.The results show that the Bo-Tai line,the northwest-southeast axis connecting Bole of Xinjiang and Taipei of Taiwan,can be built into national development backbone line and regional balanced development line,just perpendicular to Hu Line.In 2016,the area of southwest half and northeast half of Bo-Tai Line accounts for 60%:40%,while the population accounts for 45%:55%,the economic aggregate accounts for 40%:60%,the per capita GDP ratio accounts for 44%:56%,the population density ratio accounts for 38%:62%,the economic density ratio accounts for 32%:68%,and the urbanization level ratio accounts for 48%:52%.The main average indicators are gradually tending to balanced development pattern.Further analysis shows that Bo-Tai Line is a strategic shoulder pole connecting two core zones of"the Belt and Road",and is the peaceful reunification line of China's national tranquility and Taiwan's return.Bo-Tai Line is also a solid line supported and connected by comprehensive transportation channels and a Pipa type symmetrical line for the development of cities and urban agglomerations.It is the backbone of the two-way opening up and the linkage development line between land and sea.It is also an important dividing line that promotes the coordinated development of the eastern,central and western regions,and addresses the imbalance and inadequacy of regional development.Bo-Tai Line plays an irreplaceable strategic role in promoting the coordinated and balanced regional development.It is suggested that the construction of Bo-Tai Line should be included in the national development strategy,and the development strategic plan of Bo-Tai Line should be formulated to fully release the multiple potential functions.We should build three strategic support points:the northwest endpoint,the central strategic node and the southeast endpoint;carry out a comprehensive scientific investigation of the Bo-Tai Line,and strengthen the scientific cognition and publicity;promote China's development in a higherlevel,higher-quality,more coordinated,safer and more civilized direction.Let Chinese know about the Bo-Tai Line,let the world know about the Bo-Tai Line,and let the Bo-Tai Line truly become the backbone of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. 展开更多

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge(HZMB)project,which has just been opened to traffic in 2018.The special location,construction conditions,quality requirements and multiple functions of HZMB brought many challenges,such as management,technology,safety and environmental protection.To meet these challenges and ensure the achievement of high quality and 120 years design service life,the HZMB project first introduced the completely new concept of"Large size,Factory production,Standardization and Assembly",which was fundamental to the design and construction.This was developed in consideration of the difficulties of the offshore environment.The core idea was Prefabrication and Assembly,which was to change this HZMB project into onshore work as much as possible by cutting this mega sea-crossing into large sized components,which could be prefabricated on land and then transported to the offshore site for assembly.The success of the HZMB undoubtedly has led the technology of prefabrication and assembly to a new height and recognized scale.This paper describes the implementation process of the concept;"Large size,Factory production,Standardization and Assembly"(LFSA)to the HZMB. 展开更多
