It brings forward an approach to Geography with new technologies integrating it with Statistics and Computer Science among other subjects. Thus, it describes some practical cases that are examples of geographical problems solved mathematically. The results show that GIS can be an educational tool for teaching both Geography and Mathematics.展开更多

The traditional translation teaching can not meet the needs of the market, and the market is in urgent need of translators who are proficient in information technology. Therefore, translation memory is gradually applied to translation teaching. Translation teaching has been liberated by translation memory to some extent. And translation memory makes translation teaching avoid a lot of repeated knowledge and processes of translation. It is no doubt that translation memory has some limitations. As a result, the advantages and limitations of translation memory in translation teaching are discussed.展开更多

The axisymmetric and central symmetry of the function itself and the axisymmetric and central symmetry between the two functions are explored respectively. On the basis of studying the problem of function symmetry, the universal applicability of the above three tools in high school mathematics teaching is further discussed and prospected. In high school, the symmetry, as one of the basic properties of functions, is not only the content that teachers should focus on in teaching, but also a key knowledge module that it is difficult for most students to understand deeply. Its importance need not be repeated.展开更多

However, deduction from customer requirements to design results and evaluation of design alternatives are still heavily reliant on the designer's experience and knowledge. To solve the problem of fuzziness and uncertainty of customer requirements in product configuration, an analysis method based on the grey rough model is presented. The customer requirements can be converted into technical characteristics effectively. In addition, an optimization decision model for product planning is established to help the enterprises select the key technical characteristics under the constraints of cost and time to serve the customer to maximal satisfaction. A new case retrieval approach that combines the self-organizing map and fuzzy similarity priority ratio method is proposed in case-based design. The self-organizing map can reduce the retrieval range and increase the retrieval efficiency, and the fuzzy similarity priority ratio method can evaluate the similarity of cases comprehensively. To ensure that the final case has the based on grey correlation analysis is proposed to evaluate similar cases best overall performance, an evaluation method of similar cases to select the most suitable case. Furthermore, a computer-aided system is developed using MATLAB GUI to assist the product configuration design. The actual example and result on an ETC series machine tool product show that the proposed method is effective, rapid and accurate in the process of product configuration. The proposed methodology provides a detailed instruction for the product configuration design oriented to customer requirements.展开更多

Commercially available scanning equipment was used to make a basic digital tooth model after preparation of crown, and CAD software that comes with the scanning device was employed to design the crown by using domestic industrial CAM software to process the crown data in order to generate a solid model for machining purpose, and then China-made 5-axis simultaneous contouring CNC machine tool was used to complete machining of the whole crown and the internal accuracy of the crown internal was measured by using 3D-MicroCT. The results showed that China-made 5-axis simultaneous contouring CNC machine tool in combination with domestic industrial CAM technology can be used for crown making and the crown was well positioned in die. The internal accuracy was successfully measured by using 3D-MicroCT. It is concluded that an open CAM system for den-tistry on the basis of China-made 5-axis simultaneous contouring CNC machine tool and domestic industrial CAM software has been established, and development of the system will promote the introduction of domestically-produced dental CAD/CAM system.展开更多
