First, the global motion equation of a crystal is decomposed into a set of motion equations with independent single degree of freedom (SDOF) along normal discrete modes, and then damping behavior is introduced into each SDOF motion. Through the interpolation of discrete modes, the continuous representation of damping effects for the crystal is obtained. Second, from energy conservation law the expression of the damping coefficient is derived, and the approximate formula of damping coefficient is given. Next, the continuous damping coefficient for polycrystalline cluster is expressed, the continuous dynamical equation with damping term is obtained, and then the concrete damping coefficients for a polycrystalline Cu sample are shown. Finally, by using statistical two-scale homogenization method, the macroscopic homogenized dynamical equation containing damping term for the structures with random polycrystalline configurations at micro-nano scales is set up.展开更多

We study the influence of phase damping on non-classical effects in the JCM, such as oscillations of the photon-number distribution, revivals of the atomic inversion, and sub-Possion photon statistics. It is demonstrated that the phase damping suppresses the revivals of the atomic inversion and non-classical effects of the cavity field in the JCM.展开更多

The piezoelectric damping patches are under control of PID controller (matlab simulating) in voltage defference. Here, we use the software PRO/ENGINEER to design and model a wind turbine blade before using COMSOL to simulate the dynamic motion of the wind turbine blade and its interaction with aerodynamic force of wind in finite element method. Some different models are built-- the original turbine blade and the turbine blade with damping patches on different location and quantity. Then, according to the simulation results, we compare the effects of passive and active damping control, also the effect of patches locations and quantities under different wind speed. This research can provide a direction for future study about ways to decrease vibration of turbine blades.展开更多

The influences of the grain boundary condition, the strain amplitude, the number of the lamellae in the grain (N) and the content ratio of Zn and Al in Zn-Al alloys on the damping capacity were investigated. The results indicate that the grain boundary condition has great influence on the damping capacity of Zn-Al alloys, and also affects the relationship between the damping capacity and the number of lamellae (N). The variation of damping capacity with the strain amplitude is increasing exponentially with the strain amplitude and the damping capacity increases with the increasing of content of Zn.展开更多

This sin- gle-piston model comprehensively considers fluid compressibility, orifice restriction effect, fluid resistance in the capillary tube, and the leakage flow. Besides, the instantaneous discharge areas used in the single-piston model have been calculated in detail. Based on the single-piston model, a multi-piston pump model has been established according to the simple hydraulic circuit. The sin- gle- and multi-piston pump models have been realized by the S-function in Matlab/Simulink. The developed multi-piston pump model has been validated by being compared with the numerical result by computational fluid dynamic (CFD). The effects of the pre-pressurization fluid path on the flow ripple and the instantaneous pressure in the piston chamber have been studied and opti- mized design recommendations for the aviation axial-piston pump have been given out.展开更多

文摘Under the condition of frequent replacement of wind tunnel models, multiple types of wind tunnel models are fixed by a slender support sting with low stiffness damping. When excited by wind load, various models produce random multi-dimensional vibration with different characteristics, which makes it impossible to obtain accurate and efficient aerodynamic data. Therefore,in order to ensure the reliable and efficient conduction of wind tunnel test,a wind-tunnel-modeladaptive vibration control method is proposed in this paper.First, the split type adaptive vibration suppression structure is designed.Second, the multi-dimensional vibration characteristic characterization method is derived and the vibration characteristic identification method of the system is designed. Then,a vibration state estimation model is established according to the identification results of vibration characteristics, and a multi-actuator cooperative control method based on vibration state estimation is constructed. Finally,a model-adaptive vibration control system is built, and vibration characteristics identification and hammer experiments are carried out for two types of typical models. The results show that the proposed model-adaptive vibration control method increases the equivalent damping ratio of pitch and yaw dimensions of the high-aspect-ratio class model by 8.19 times and 48.81 times, respectively. The equivalent damping ratio of pitch and yaw dimensions of the highslenderness-ratio class model is increased by 16.44 and 5.43 times, respectively. It provides a strong guarantee for the reliable and efficient development of multi-type wind tunnel test tasks.
文摘On the basic of passive damping control, we do modeling and simulating in another approach to improve the vibration alleviating effect, the piezoelectric layer damping (PLD), which is called active control. This research can provide a direction for future study about ways to decrease vibration of turbine blades.
文摘The damping behaviors of Zn-Al alloys with fully lamellar microstructures were simulated with the cell method. The variation of damping capacity with the strain amplitude is increasing exponentially with the strain amplitude and the damping capacity increases with the increasing of content of Zn.
文摘By employing the oil-film damping technique, the vibration-proof ability of rollingslideways assembly can be improved remarkably without influencing its inherent advanced char-acteristics. This paper presents an investigation on dynamic modelling and parameter identifica-tion for rolling slideways assembly with damping oil-films on the basis of modal modification. The method combines theoretical calculation and experimental results effectively and can be usedto carry out reliable simulation and parameter analysis instead of pure analytical method.

文摘Based on the structure of a certain type of aviation axial-piston pump's valve plate which adopts a pre-pressurization fluid path (consisting a damping hole, a buffer chamber, and an orifice) to reduce flow ripple, a single-piston model of the aviation axial-piston pump is presented. The effects of the pre-pressurization fluid path on the flow ripple and the instantaneous pressure in the piston chamber have been studied and opti- mized design recommendations for the aviation axial-piston pump have been given out.
