Objective:To investigate the effect of using audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing checkups for regulation nurses.Methods:The period was April 2023–April 2024,and a random...Objective:To investigate the effect of using audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing checkups for regulation nurses.Methods:The period was April 2023–April 2024,and a randomized controlled group study was carried out in which 76 regulation nurses in our hospital were randomly divided into a research group and a control group,with 38 regulation nurses in each group.The control group used conventional teaching methods,and the research group used audible thinking combined with the case teaching method,comparing the two groups’independent learning ability scores,assessment scores,and teaching satisfaction.Results:Independent learning ability score:after teaching,the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);Assessment results:the research group was considerably higher than the control group(P<0.05);Teaching satisfaction:the research group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of audible thinking combined with the case teaching method in the teaching of nursing room visits for trained nurses can improve independent learning ability and assessment results and increase teaching satisfaction.展开更多

Methods: a total of 124 students majoring in acupuncture and moxibu...Objective: to explore the value of applying case teaching method to the teaching of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy in colleges and universities. Methods: a total of 124 students majoring in acupuncture and moxibustion from 2019 to 2020 in our university were selected as the experimental subjects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group by using the digital parity method. During the course of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, routine teaching mode and case teaching method were used to implement the teaching. The differences in teaching effect, students' examination scores and students' satisfaction degree among the groups were counted. Results: the scores of practical ability and comprehensive ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of theoretical, practical and case analysis of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (p < 0.05). The scores of teaching contents, teaching methods and teachers' satisfaction indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: case-based teaching method can effectively improve students' assessment results and comprehensive ability, increase their satisfaction with the teaching model, and at the same time, it can fully mobilize students' learning enthusiasm and initiative, which is beneficial to improve the teaching quality and teaching effect, and is suitable for further promotion and reference.展开更多

The control group adopted the traditional teaching method, while the experimental group adopted the case teaching method on the basis of the traditional teaching method. The experimental data were tested by independent sample t. Results: the case teaching method can increase students' autonomous learning, establish clinical logical thinking, enable students to have clear thinking when facing patients, thus improving students' ability to analyze and solve problems, and can better achieve the teaching objectives and vocational ability training objectives of the course.展开更多

Methods: 56 students from one class of 2018 in the five-year p...Objective: explore the application value of hierarchical and progressive case teaching in clinical teaching of gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: 56 students from one class of 2018 in the five-year program of traditional Chinese medicine major of our school were selected as the research objects from March to June 2022. One class was randomly selected as the observation group, and the other was the control group, with 28 students in each class. The control group adopted the traditional teaching method, and the observation group adopted the hierarchical progressive case teaching method to evaluate the assessment results, teaching effects and teaching satisfaction of the two groups. Results: the assessment pass rate of the observation group was 100.0%, significantly higher than that of the control group by 82.14% (P 0.05). The teaching satisfaction rate was 100.0%, 96.43%, 100.0%, 100.0% and 96.43%, significantly higher than the control group, 82.14%, 78.57%, 82.14%, 78.57% and 78.57% (P 0.05). The suitability of the teaching mode of the observation group and the active recognition of classroom atmosphere were 100.0% and 100.0% were significantly higher than 60.00% and 50.00% (P 0.05) in the teaching mode of teachers (P> 0.05). Conclusion: the implementation of hierarchical and progressive case teaching method in the clinical teaching of TCM gynecology can improve students assessment performance, improve the effect of classroom teaching, and obtain the recognition of teachers. Moreover, students satisfaction with the teaching mode is high, which is worth promoting.展开更多

Methods: the nursing students who participated in the practice of pediatrics in our hospital from April 2019 to August 2020 were taken as the research object of this subject, and 64 nursing students were involved in the teaching research. According to the double-blind method, the above-mentioned nursing students were divided into the general group (using the conventional teaching method to teach and train the nursing students) and the innovation group (using the innovative and improved case teaching method to teach and train the nursing students). Results: compared with the nursing students in the general group, the nursing students in the innovation group were more approbated to the quality of teaching and training. Through the examination of the nursing students in the two groups, it was found that the nursing students in the innovation group had better mastery of theoretical knowledge and application in practice (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the study found that nurses are a profession with high practical requirements, which requires practitioners to improve their practical ability on the basis of mastering enough theoretical knowledge. Through the development of case teaching method, the practice nursing students can quickly adapt to the current teaching work, improve the immersion of practice, and effectively improve the quality of teaching.展开更多

OBJECTIVE: To discuss the causes and treatments of wound infections after scoliosis surgery. METHODS: Nine hundred and twenty-four caes of scoliosis were reviewed, and the clinical data of 15 cases of postoperative in...OBJECTIVE: To discuss the causes and treatments of wound infections after scoliosis surgery. METHODS: Nine hundred and twenty-four caes of scoliosis were reviewed, and the clinical data of 15 cases of postoperative infection were analysed retrospectively. RESULTS: All 15 cases underwent spinal posterior fusion with autologous bone graft using instrumentations. Seven were diagnosed as early infection, and 8 were delayed infection. Radical debridement was performed in all 15 cases. The duration of antibiotics administration was 10 to 34 days with continuous closed irrigation for 2 to approximately 4 weeks and primary closure for the wounds. All patients were followed up for an average of 3.5 years (2 to 7.5 years) with good outcomes and no recurrence. CONCLUSION: Wound infection following surgical correction of scoliosis primarily results from intraoperative seeding, although host-related and operation-related factors may contribute to its development. Once the infections are diagnosed, good results can be achieved by prompt surgical debridement, irrigation and reasonably administered antibiotics. Removal of hardware may be necessary in deep infections.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the impact of MDT-oriented CBL model on teaching for cardiac nursing interns.Methods:A convenience sampling study was conducted with 100 cardiac nursing interns from September 2023 to June 202...Objective:To investigate the impact of MDT-oriented CBL model on teaching for cardiac nursing interns.Methods:A convenience sampling study was conducted with 100 cardiac nursing interns from September 2023 to June 2024 as subjects.The cohort was divided into two groups:50 interns(control group,traditional teaching method)from September 2023 to January 2024,and 50 interns(experimental group,MDT-oriented CBL model)from February 2024 to June 2024.Comparative analyses were performed on theoretical assessments,practical skill evaluations,and teaching satisfaction.Results:The experimental group demonstrated higher scores in both theoretical and practical knowledge assessments(p<0.05)compared to the control group.The experimental group also scored higher in all skill assessment categories(communication,teamwork,emergency response,medical history acquisition,organizational skills,humanistic care,and clinical competence)(p<0.05).Satisfaction ratings for teaching objectives,content,methods,process,and outcomes were significantly higher in the experimental group(p<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing the MDT-oriented CBL model in cardiac nursing education significantly improves interns’theoretical and practical knowledge assessment scores,enhances nursing skills,and increases teaching satisfaction.This teaching model demonstrates significant potential for widespread application.展开更多

METHODS: Thirteen cases of cystic renal carcinoma confirmed by operation and pathology were examined by ultrasonography, and the cystic walls, septa and solid mural nodules were studied. RESULTS: Solid mural nodules of some cases and irregular thickening of the cystic walls and septa were characteristic findings for the ultrasonic diagnosis of cystic renal carcinomas. According to their pathologic mechanisms and sonographic features, cystic renal carcinomas were classified into 3 patterns: unilocular cystic mass, multiloculated cystic mass and cystic-solid mass. CONCLUSIONS: Typical cystic renal carcinomas can be well diagnosed, while atypical cases may be misdiagnosed as benign renal cysts by ultrasonography. Color Doppler ultrasonography and needle aspiration guided by ultrasonography are helpful in the diagnosis of these atypical cases.展开更多

Conclusion: the study found that nurses are a profession with high practical requirements, which requires practitioners to improve their practical ability on the basis of mastering enough theoretical knowledge. Through the development of case teaching method, the practice nursing students can quickly adapt to the current teaching work, improve the immersion of practice, and effectively improve the quality of teaching.

文摘OBJECTIVE: To discuss the causes and treatments of wound infections after scoliosis surgery. METHODS: Nine hundred and twenty-four caes of scoliosis were reviewed, and the clinical data of 15 cases of postoperative infection were analysed retrospectively. RESULTS: All 15 cases underwent spinal posterior fusion with autologous bone graft using instrumentations. Seven were diagnosed as early infection, and 8 were delayed infection. Radical debridement was performed in all 15 cases. The duration of antibiotics administration was 10 to 34 days with continuous closed irrigation for 2 to approximately 4 weeks and primary closure for the wounds. All patients were followed up for an average of 3.5 years (2 to 7.5 years) with good outcomes and no recurrence. CONCLUSION: Wound infection following surgical correction of scoliosis primarily results from intraoperative seeding, although host-related and operation-related factors may contribute to its development. Once the infections are diagnosed, good results can be achieved by prompt surgical debridement, irrigation and reasonably administered antibiotics. Removal of hardware may be necessary in deep infections.
文摘Objective:To investigate the impact of MDT-oriented CBL model on teaching for cardiac nursing interns.Methods:A convenience sampling study was conducted with 100 cardiac nursing interns from September 2023 to June 2024 as subjects.The cohort was divided into two groups:50 interns(control group,traditional teaching method)from September 2023 to January 2024,and 50 interns(experimental group,MDT-oriented CBL model)from February 2024 to June 2024.Comparative analyses were performed on theoretical assessments,practical skill evaluations,and teaching satisfaction.Results:The experimental group demonstrated higher scores in both theoretical and practical knowledge assessments(p<0.05)compared to the control group.The experimental group also scored higher in all skill assessment categories(communication,teamwork,emergency response,medical history acquisition,organizational skills,humanistic care,and clinical competence)(p<0.05).Satisfaction ratings for teaching objectives,content,methods,process,and outcomes were significantly higher in the experimental group(p<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing the MDT-oriented CBL model in cardiac nursing education significantly improves interns’theoretical and practical knowledge assessment scores,enhances nursing skills,and increases teaching satisfaction.This teaching model demonstrates significant potential for widespread application.
文摘OBJECTIVE: To study the sonographic features and patterns of cystic renal carcinomas. METHODS: Thirteen cases of cystic renal carcinoma confirmed by operation and pathology were examined by ultrasonography, and the cystic walls, septa and solid mural nodules were studied. RESULTS: Solid mural nodules of some cases and irregular thickening of the cystic walls and septa were characteristic findings for the ultrasonic diagnosis of cystic renal carcinomas. According to their pathologic mechanisms and sonographic features, cystic renal carcinomas were classified into 3 patterns: unilocular cystic mass, multiloculated cystic mass and cystic-solid mass. CONCLUSIONS: Typical cystic renal carcinomas can be well diagnosed, while atypical cases may be misdiagnosed as benign renal cysts by ultrasonography. Color Doppler ultrasonography and needle aspiration guided by ultrasonography are helpful in the diagnosis of these atypical cases.
