In this paper, we investigate a new perturbation theorem for the Moore-Penrose metric generalized inverses of a bounded linear operator in Banach space. The main tool in this paper is "the generalized Neumann lemma" which is quite different from the method in [12] where "the generalized Banach lemma" was used. By the method of the perturba- tion analysis of bounded linear operators, we obtain an explicit perturbation theorem and three inequalities about error estimates for the Moore-Penrose metric generalized inverse of bounded linear operator under the generalized Neumann lemma and the concept of stable perturbations in Banach spaces. 展开更多

Self-scheduled direct thrust control for gas turbine engine based on EME approach with bounded parameter variation

Direct Thrust Control(DTC) is effective in dealing with the mismatch between thrust and rotor speed in traditional engine control. Among the DTC architecture, model-based thrust estimation method has less arithmetic consumption and better real-time performance. In this paper,a direct thrust controller design approach for gas turbine engine based on parameter dependent model is proposed. In order to ensure the stability of DTC control system based on parameter dependent model, there are usually conservatism detects. For the purpose of reducing the conservatism in the solution process of filter and controller, an Equilibrium Manifold Expansion(EME) model with bounded parameter variation of engine is established. The design conditions of Kalman filter for discrete-time EME system are introduced, and the proposed conditions have a certain suppression effect on the input noise of the system with bounded parameter variation.The engine thrust estimator stability and H∞filtering problems are solved by the polytopic quadratic Lyapunov function based on the Linear Matrix Inequalities(LMIs). To meet the performance requirements of thrust control, the Grey Wolf Optimization(GWO) algorithm is applied to optimize the PID control parameters. The proposed method is verified on a Hardware-in-Loop(HIL) platform. The simulation results demonstrate that the DTC framework can ensure the stability of engine closed-loop system in large range deviation tests. The filter and controller solution method considering the parameter variation boundary can obtain a solution that makes the system have better performance parameters. Moreover, the proposed filter has better thrust estimation performance than the traditional Kalman filter under the condition of sensor noise. Compared with Augmented Linear Quadratic Regulator(ALQR) controller, the PID controller optimized by GWO has a faster response in simulation. 展开更多

This paper derives the bounded real lemmas corresponding to L∞norm and H∞norm(L-BR and H-BR) of fractional order systems. The lemmas reduce the original computations of norms into linear matrix inequality(LMI) problems, which can be performed in a computationally efficient fashion. This convex relaxation is enlightened from the generalized Kalman-YakubovichPopov(KYP) lemma and brings no conservatism to the L-BR. Meanwhile, an H-BR is developed similarly but with some conservatism.However, it can test the system stability automatically in addition to the norm computation, which is of fundamental importance for system analysis. From this advantage, we further address the synthesis problem of H∞control for fractional order systems in the form of LMI. Three illustrative examples are given to show the effectiveness of our methods. 展开更多

The Relationship between Energy Consumption and Economic Growth in the USA: A Non-Linear ARDL Bounds Test Approach 被引量:1

We study the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in the case of USA by using an asymmetric ARDL bounds test approach to achieve the actual model. The quarterly data set covers the period of 1973:1- 2013:4. The findings indicate that the effect of energy consumption is asymmetric in the long term but not in the short term. In the long run, the effect of negative component of energy consumption on economic growth is small and statistically insignificant. The coefficient of the positive component of energy consumption is found about 0.9 and statistically significant at 1% level. We conclude that energy saving policies such as technological progress and organizational rearrangements may have the dimmer effect for the impact of a negative component of energy consumption and the booster effect for impact of the positive component of energy consumption. Thus, energy saving policy should be tightly followed by the goal of high economic growth. 展开更多

By introducing the idea of matrix decomposition into the synthesis problem, incorporating with Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and adding "zeros" matrix through the correlation of each item in Newton-Leibniz formula, we present a sufficient condition via the feedback stabilization based on linear matrix inequality (LMI). LMI is a new delay dependent condition that is much less conservative, and it guarantees that the system is robust asymptotically stable via state feedback controller. Neither the model transformation nor the bounding cross terms is employed. Finally, a numerical example is presented and it demonstrates the effectiveness of the offered method. 展开更多

Based on the estimate of Bergman kernel, we obtain some characterizations of functions in A^P(Ω, dvs) in terms of a class of linear operators D^αB. Making use of these characterizations, we extend A^P(Ω,dvs) to the weighted Bergman spaces Aα^p,B(Ω,dvs) in a very natural way for 1 〈 p 〈 4-∞ and any real number s, that is, -∞ 〈 s 〈 +∞. This unified treatment covers some classical Bergman spaces, Besov spaces and Bloch spaces. The sufficient and necessary condition for bounds of decreasing rate of a time-varying linear system to be assigned arbitrarily is presented. It is pointed out that for any given real number m, M, m<M, there exists a linear state feedback with time-varying gain matrix which makes the corresponding closed-loop system possess M and m as its upper bound and lower bound of the decreasing rate respectively. For the purposes of its application to system design the concept of the asymptotic assignment of the bounds of decreasing rate is also proposed. Codebooks are widely applied in code division multiple access communication systems.Based on the subspaces of singular linear spaces over the finite fields,two classes of new codebooks are constructed.Firstly,a kind of binary codebooks are constructed by using the subspace of the singular linear space over the finite fields.According to the anzahl theorem,the parameters and the maximum correlation amplitude I_(max)(C)of the codebooks are calculated,and then given the conditions that the I_(max)(C)asymptotically reaches the Welch bound.On this basis,by mixing with Hadamard matrices,the number of columns are increased and obtain another class of new code,which further relaxes the conditions that the I_(max)(C)asymptotically reaches the Welch bound. 展开更多

We conduct a theoretical study on the properties of a bound polaron in a quantum well under an electric field using linear combination operator and unitary transformation methods, which are valid in the whole range of electron-LO phonon coupling. The changing relations between the ground-state energy of the bound polaron in the quantum well and the Coulomb bound potential, the electric field strength, and the well width are derived. The numerical results show that the ground-state energy increases with the increase of the electric field strength and the Coulomb bound potential and decreases as the well width increases. 展开更多

The influence of the electric field on the properties of the bound magnetopolaron in an infinite-depth GaAs semiconductor quantum well is investigated using the linear-combination operator and the unitary transformation method. The relationships between the polaron's ground state energy and the Coulomb bound potential, electric field, magnetic field, and well-width are derived and discussed. Our numerical results show that the absolute value of the polaron's ground state energy increases as the electric field and the Coulomb bound potential increase, and decreases as the well-width and the magnetic field strength increase. When the well-width is small,the quantum size effect is significant. 展开更多

To improve the resolution and accuracy of Direct Position Determination(DPD),this paper investigates the problem of positioning multiple emitters directly with a single moving Rotating Linear Array(RLA).Firstly,the geometry of the RLA is formulated and analysed.According to its geometry,the intercepted noncoherent signals in multiple interception intervals are modeled.Correspondingly,the Multiple SIgnal Classification(MUSIC)based noncoherent DPD approach is proposed.Secondly,the synchronous coherent pulse signals are individually considered and formulated.And the coherent DPD approach which aims for localizing this special type of signal is presented by stacking all array responses at different interception intervals.Besides,we also derive the constrained Cramer-Rao Lower Bound(CRLB)expression for both noncoherent and coherent DPD with RLA under the constraint that the altitudes of the emitters are known.At last,computer simulations are included to examine the performance of the proposed approach.The results demonstrate that the localization accuracy and resolution of DPD with single moving linear array can be significantly improved by the array rotation.In addition,coherent DPD with RLA further improves the resolution and increases the maximum emitter number that can be localized compared with the noncoherent DPD with RLA. 展开更多

Firstly, a deky-dependent bounded real lemma(BRL) of the time-deky descriptorsystems is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) by using a descriptor modeltransformation of the system and by taking a new Lyapunov-Krasovsii functional. The introducedfunctional does not require bounding for cross terms, so it has less conservation. Secondly, withthe help of the obtained bounded real lemma, a sufficient condition for the existence of a newdeky-dependent H-infinity state-feedback controller is shown in terms of nonlinear matrixinequalities and the solvability of the problem can be obtained by using an iterative algorithminvolving convex optimization.
