The effects of basicities and equilibrium temperatures on the enrichment of chromium in different mineral phases of synthesized argon-oxygen decarburization slags were investigated to understand the Cr concentrating b...The effects of basicities and equilibrium temperatures on the enrichment of chromium in different mineral phases of synthesized argon-oxygen decarburization slags were investigated to understand the Cr concentrating behavior into Mg(Cr,Al)2O4 spinel phase and to determine the leaching stability of Cr-containing slag.The results showed that when the basicity decreased from 1.0 to 0.6 and temperatures decreased from 1600 to 800℃,the Cr content of amorphous phase and crystalline phase gradually decreased,with a subsequent increase in the Cr content of spinel phase.The range of Cr enrichment in spinel of slags S1,S2,and S3 is 92.03-96.89,91.63-96.36,and 90.67-95.42,respectively.The mass fraction and the size of spinel increased with the decreasing equilibrium temperatures,and the Cr leaching values decreased simultaneously.Therefore,the trend of the amount of Cr-related ions in the leachate was consistent with the trend of Cr in the amorphous phase,diopside,and akermanite.The results suggest that the lower basicity and equilibrium temperatures could be conducive to stabilizing Cr into spinel phase to minimize Cr leaching into the environment.展开更多
Alumina magnesia castable crucible specimens were prepared using tabular corundum ( ≤ 5 mm ), fused magnesia powder ( ≤0. 088 mm ) , fused spinel powder ( ≤0. 044 mm ) , and α-Al2O3. micropowder (d50 ≤0....Alumina magnesia castable crucible specimens were prepared using tabular corundum ( ≤ 5 mm ), fused magnesia powder ( ≤0. 088 mm ) , fused spinel powder ( ≤0. 044 mm ) , and α-Al2O3. micropowder (d50 ≤0. 7 μm ) as main starting materials, batching, mixing, shaping, and drying. Slag resistance was determined by static crucible method at 1 600℃ for 3 h adopting two ladle slags with different basicities (3. 40 and 1.03 ). The corrosion and penetration indexes and microstructure characteristics of the specimens after slag resistance test were analyzed to study the corrosion behaviors of the two slags to alumina magnesia castables. The results show that the corrosion of the low basicity slag to alumina magnesia custables is much more serious than that of the high basicity slag for that their reactions with castables form different products;for the low basicity slab,, the multi-phase coexistence of CA6 and compounds of CaO - Al2O3 -SiO2 in the materials together with volume expansion caused by the formation of CA6 intensify the slag corrosion and penetration ; for the high basicity slag, the reaction between slag and castables generates a CA2 dense layer and a large amount of in-situ MA in the interface, reducing the slag corrosion to the materials effectively.展开更多
AAV-PHP.eB is an artificial adeno-associated virus(AAV)that crosses the blood-brain barrier and targets neurons more efficiently than other AAVs when administered systematically.While AAV-PHP.eB has been used in vario...AAV-PHP.eB is an artificial adeno-associated virus(AAV)that crosses the blood-brain barrier and targets neurons more efficiently than other AAVs when administered systematically.While AAV-PHP.eB has been used in various disease models,its cellular tropism in cerebrovascular diseases remains unclear.In the present study,we aimed to elucidate the tropism of AAV-PHP.eB for different cell types in the brain in a mouse model of ischemic stroke and evaluate its effectiveness in mediating basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)gene therapy.Mice were injected intravenously with AAV-PHP.eB either 14 days prior to(pre-stroke)or 1 day following(post-stroke)transient middle cerebral artery occlusion.Notably,we observed a shift in tropism from neurons to endothelial cells with post-stroke administration of AAV-PHP.eB-mNeonGreen(mNG).This endothelial cell tropism correlated strongly with expression of the endothelial membrane receptor lymphocyte antigen 6 family member A(Ly6A).Furthermore,AAV-PHP.eB-mediated overexpression of bFGF markedly improved neurobehavioral outcomes and promoted long-term neurogenesis and angiogenesis post-ischemic stroke.Our findings underscore the significance of considering potential tropism shifts when utilizing AAV-PHP.eB-mediated gene therapy in neurological diseases and suggest a promising new strategy for bFGF gene therapy in stroke treatment.展开更多
The selection of an appropriate basic detonation wave flow field is crucial for improving the performance and geometric design of standing detonation vehicles.This paper employs a detailed chemical reaction model and ...The selection of an appropriate basic detonation wave flow field is crucial for improving the performance and geometric design of standing detonation vehicles.This paper employs a detailed chemical reaction model and solves the unsteady axisymmetric Euler equation to study the characteristics of the Axisymmetric Inward Turning Curved Detonation Wave(AIT-CDW)flow field and the parameters affecting the stability of the wave system structure of AIT-CDW flow field.The numerical results demonstrate a radial compression effect in the AIT-CDW flow field.This effect causes the detonation wave to have a shorter initiation length than oblique detonation wave flow field and the detonation wave angle to gradually increase with the flow direction postdetonation.The AIT-CDW flow field is confined space,making it prone to normal detonation waves when the detonation wave reflects from the wall.This phenomenon is detrimental to the stability of the wave system structure in the flow field.It has been observed that increasing the center body radius and decreasing the fuel equivalent ratio can effectively reduce the height of the normal detonation wave or even eliminate it.Additionally,a well-designed generatrix shape of the center body can enhance airflow,reduce choked flow,and promote the stability of the wave structure in the flow field.展开更多

It has become a necessary option for the detection of existing exhaust emission standards. At present, there is limited and scattered information on knowledge and test methods of NOx sensors, the research of NOx sensors has become a challenging research topic at home and abroad. Based on these requirements, the article systematically integrates the knowledge of principle and testing methods. First of all, through introducing functional description of NOx sensors and the basic principle of NOx sensors, the relevant scholars can have an overall understanding of the product and master the operation mode of products. Secondly, the current status of performance test bench and methods of NOx sensors were described, which can contribute to having a clear understanding of the development process. After that, a new structure of NOx sensors test bench was purposed, which contains six major units including standard gas source, gas mixing unit, analyzer measurement unit, sensor measurement unit, data processing and display unit, exhaust gas treatment unit. And the test bench was validated. The experimental results show that the test bench has the advantages of high-repeatability, high reliability and low cost. And it can realize automatic detection of multiple target values, which is worthy further promotion. Thereby, the article can contribute to the development of its technology indirectly.展开更多

During the continuous casting process of high-Mn high-Al steels,various types of gases such as Ar need to escape through the top of the mold.In which,the behavior of bubbles traversing the liquid slag serves as a rest...During the continuous casting process of high-Mn high-Al steels,various types of gases such as Ar need to escape through the top of the mold.In which,the behavior of bubbles traversing the liquid slag serves as a restrictive link,closely associated with viscosity and the thickness of liquid slag.In contrast to two-dimensional surface observation,three-dimensional(3D)analysis method can offer a more intuitive,accurate,and comprehensive information.Therefore,this study employs a 3D X-ray microscope(3D-XRM)to obtained spatial distribution and 3D morphological characteristics of residual bubbles in mold flux under different basicity of liquid slag,different temperatures,and different holding times.The results indicate that as basicity of slag increases from 0.52 to 1.03,temperature increases from 1423 to 1573 K,the viscosity of slag decreases,the floating rate of bubbles increases.In addition,when holding time increases from 10 to 30 s,the bubbles floating distance increases,and the volume fraction and average equivalent sphere diameter of the bubbles solidified in the mold flux gradually decreases.In one word,increasing the basicity,temperature,and holding time leading to an increase in the removal rate of bubbles especially for the large.These findings of bubbles escape behavior provide valuable insights into optimizing low basicity mold flux for high-Mn high-Al steels.展开更多

In this article,we comment on the work put forth by Wu et al regarding the investigation of oesophageal cancer-specific mortality for a cohort of patients from Chongqing University Cancer Hospital.We specifically focu...In this article,we comment on the work put forth by Wu et al regarding the investigation of oesophageal cancer-specific mortality for a cohort of patients from Chongqing University Cancer Hospital.We specifically focused on the implications of public health plans such as Urban Employee Basic Medical Insurance(UEBMI)and Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance as well as out-of-pocket ratios on patient treatment plans regarding whether they pursue surgical interventions or therapeutic treatments such as chemotherapy.While Wu et al put forth potential explanations for why patients with the UEBMI plan surprisingly had a 23.30%increased risk of oesophageal cancer-specific death,more analysis is needed to alleviate cancer burden within this group.Although it is likely that patients covered by Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance and higher out-ofpocket ratios have stronger self-recovery awareness,more work must be done to improve outcomes for people with the UEBMI plan while simultaneously implementing international and domestic initiatives to better emphasize cancer prevention and early detection.Lastly,future research must explore the relationship between Serious Illness Medical Insurance as well as the New Rural Cooperative Medical System on the mortality rate of oesophageal cancer patients in rural China,where disease burden is significantly higher than urban areas.By unifying these public health insurance schemes,officials can significantly alleviate economic burden of treatment and better prognosis for patients with oesophageal cancer.展开更多
AIM:To compare refractive error and angle of deviation in patients with basic esotropia and basic exotropia.METHODS:A retrospective review was conducted on the medical records of patients with basic-type strabismus.De...AIM:To compare refractive error and angle of deviation in patients with basic esotropia and basic exotropia.METHODS:A retrospective review was conducted on the medical records of patients with basic-type strabismus.Demographic data,refractive error,best-corrected distance visual acuity(BCVA),and the horizontal and vertical angle of deviation between basic esotropia and exotropia patients were compared.RESULTS:Among the 7129 patients(mean age 22.98±14.81y)evaluated,44.7%(3185 cases,54.9%male)exhibited basic-type esotropia,while 55.3%(3944 cases,53.9%male)presented with basic-type exotropia.Basic esotropia cases exhibited more hyperopic spherical equivalent measurements in both eyes(right:0.53±3.07 vs left:0.56±2.98 D)than those with basic exotropia(right eye:-0.33±2.84 vs left eye:-0.24±2.68 D,P<0.001 for both eyes).Patients with basic esotropia had significantly greater horizontal deviation angles(near:36.08±18.87 PD and far:35.56±18.75 PD)compared to those with basic exotropia(near:33.75±16.11 PD and far:33.26±15.90 PD,P<0.001).Conversely,patients with basic exotropia had slightly higher vertical deviation angles(near:1.67±5.80 PD and far:1.72±5.89 PD)compared to those with basic esotropia(near:1.12±4.57 PD and far:1.12±4.58 PD,P<0.001).Patients with basic esotropia underwent surgical intervention at younger ages compared to basic exotropia individuals(19.68±15.99 vs 25.66±13.20,P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Basic esotropia patients present more hyperopic refractive errors,better visual acuity,larger horizontal yet smaller vertical ocular misalignments,and tend to undergo strabismus surgery at younger ages relative to basic exotropia cases.展开更多

The properties of direct reduced iron(DRI)smelting slag are important in the DRI melting process for molten iron production to ensure the slag-iron separation and quality of molten iron.The influence of binary basicit...The properties of direct reduced iron(DRI)smelting slag are important in the DRI melting process for molten iron production to ensure the slag-iron separation and quality of molten iron.The influence of binary basicity on the viscosity and sulfide capacity of CaO-SiO_(2)-MgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-FeO slag was investigated by the high-temperature experiments,structural analysis and thermodynamic calculation.The viscosity of the slag decreased rapidly with an increase in basicity from 0.4 to 0.8,and this trend became slow as the basicity further increased to 1.2.For the acidic slag with basicity of 0.4 and 0.6,the viscosity at 1500℃ was higher than 0.6 Pa s,which was harmful for the fluidity of slag melt.The slags with basicity of 0.8,1.0 and 1.2 at 1500℃ showed the low viscosity of less than 0.6 Pa s.For the basic slag with basicity of 1.0 and 1.2,the rapid precipitation of melilite led to the abrupt increase behavior of the viscosity,and the acidic slag showed the gentle temperature-viscosity curves.The Raman analysis revealed that the conversion from Q^(3) to Q^(2),Q^(1) and Q^(0) mainly occurred with the basicity increasing from 0.4 to 0.8,and the conversion from Q^(2) to Q^(1) and Q^(0) was dominant with further increase in basicity to 1.2,decreasing the degree of polymerization.The sulfide capacity was improved with the increasing basicity due to the increase in O^(2-)ions,and CaS could be formed dominantly for S^(2-)stabilization in present slag.The sulfur partition ratio was derived from sulfide capacity,and the values of sulfur partition ratio at basicity of 0.4 and 0.6 were much smaller than those at basicity of 0.8,1.0 and 1.2,indicating a weak desulfurization ability of the slag with a low basicity.展开更多

文摘The presence of endogenous neural stem/progenitor cells in the adult mammalian brain suggests that the central nervous system can be repaired and regenerated after injury.However,whether it is possible to stimulate neurogenesis and reconstruct cortical layers II to VI in non-neurogenic regions,such as the cortex,remains unknown.In this study,we implanted a hyaluronic acid collagen gel loaded with basic fibroblast growth factor into the motor cortex immediately following traumatic injury.Our findings reveal that this gel effectively stimulated the proliferation and migration of endogenous neural stem/progenitor cells,as well as their differentiation into mature and functionally integrated neurons.Importantly,these new neurons reconstructed the architecture of cortical layers II to VI,integrated into the existing neural circuitry,and ultimately led to improved brain function.These findings offer novel insight into potential clinical treatments for traumatic cerebral cortex injuries.
文摘In this article,we comment on the work put forth by Wu et al regarding the investigation of oesophageal cancer-specific mortality for a cohort of patients from Chongqing University Cancer Hospital.We specifically focused on the implications of public health plans such as Urban Employee Basic Medical Insurance(UEBMI)and Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance as well as out-of-pocket ratios on patient treatment plans regarding whether they pursue surgical interventions or therapeutic treatments such as chemotherapy.While Wu et al put forth potential explanations for why patients with the UEBMI plan surprisingly had a 23.30%increased risk of oesophageal cancer-specific death,more analysis is needed to alleviate cancer burden within this group.Although it is likely that patients covered by Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance and higher out-ofpocket ratios have stronger self-recovery awareness,more work must be done to improve outcomes for people with the UEBMI plan while simultaneously implementing international and domestic initiatives to better emphasize cancer prevention and early detection.Lastly,future research must explore the relationship between Serious Illness Medical Insurance as well as the New Rural Cooperative Medical System on the mortality rate of oesophageal cancer patients in rural China,where disease burden is significantly higher than urban areas.By unifying these public health insurance schemes,officials can significantly alleviate economic burden of treatment and better prognosis for patients with oesophageal cancer.
文摘AIM:To compare refractive error and angle of deviation in patients with basic esotropia and basic exotropia.METHODS:A retrospective review was conducted on the medical records of patients with basic-type strabismus.Demographic data,refractive error,best-corrected distance visual acuity(BCVA),and the horizontal and vertical angle of deviation between basic esotropia and exotropia patients were compared.RESULTS:Among the 7129 patients(mean age 22.98±14.81y)evaluated,44.7%(3185 cases,54.9%male)exhibited basic-type esotropia,while 55.3%(3944 cases,53.9%male)presented with basic-type exotropia.Basic esotropia cases exhibited more hyperopic spherical equivalent measurements in both eyes(right:0.53±3.07 vs left:0.56±2.98 D)than those with basic exotropia(right eye:-0.33±2.84 vs left eye:-0.24±2.68 D,P<0.001 for both eyes).Patients with basic esotropia had significantly greater horizontal deviation angles(near:36.08±18.87 PD and far:35.56±18.75 PD)compared to those with basic exotropia(near:33.75±16.11 PD and far:33.26±15.90 PD,P<0.001).Conversely,patients with basic exotropia had slightly higher vertical deviation angles(near:1.67±5.80 PD and far:1.72±5.89 PD)compared to those with basic esotropia(near:1.12±4.57 PD and far:1.12±4.58 PD,P<0.001).Patients with basic esotropia underwent surgical intervention at younger ages compared to basic exotropia individuals(19.68±15.99 vs 25.66±13.20,P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Basic esotropia patients present more hyperopic refractive errors,better visual acuity,larger horizontal yet smaller vertical ocular misalignments,and tend to undergo strabismus surgery at younger ages relative to basic exotropia cases.

文摘The properties of direct reduced iron(DRI)smelting slag are important in the DRI melting process for molten iron production to ensure the slag-iron separation and quality of molten iron.The influence of binary basicity on the viscosity and sulfide capacity of CaO-SiO_(2)-MgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-FeO slag was investigated by the high-temperature experiments,structural analysis and thermodynamic calculation.The viscosity of the slag decreased rapidly with an increase in basicity from 0.4 to 0.8,and this trend became slow as the basicity further increased to 1.2.For the acidic slag with basicity of 0.4 and 0.6,the viscosity at 1500℃ was higher than 0.6 Pa s,which was harmful for the fluidity of slag melt.The slags with basicity of 0.8,1.0 and 1.2 at 1500℃ showed the low viscosity of less than 0.6 Pa s.For the basic slag with basicity of 1.0 and 1.2,the rapid precipitation of melilite led to the abrupt increase behavior of the viscosity,and the acidic slag showed the gentle temperature-viscosity curves.The Raman analysis revealed that the conversion from Q^(3) to Q^(2),Q^(1) and Q^(0) mainly occurred with the basicity increasing from 0.4 to 0.8,and the conversion from Q^(2) to Q^(1) and Q^(0) was dominant with further increase in basicity to 1.2,decreasing the degree of polymerization.The sulfide capacity was improved with the increasing basicity due to the increase in O^(2-)ions,and CaS could be formed dominantly for S^(2-)stabilization in present slag.The sulfur partition ratio was derived from sulfide capacity,and the values of sulfur partition ratio at basicity of 0.4 and 0.6 were much smaller than those at basicity of 0.8,1.0 and 1.2,indicating a weak desulfurization ability of the slag with a low basicity.
