Public Auditing for Shared Data Utilizing Backups with User Revocation in the Cloud 被引量:1

With the advent of cloud storage, users can share their own data in the remote cloud as a group. To ensure the security of stored data and the normal operation of public auditing, once a user is revoked from the user group, the data files he signed should be resigned by other legal users in the group. In this paper, we propose a new re-signature scheme utilizing backup files to rebuild data which can resist the collusion between the cloud and revoked users, and we use Shamir Secret Sharing Scheme to encrypt data in the multi-managers system which can separate the authority of the group managers. Moreover, our scheme is more practical because we do not need managers to be online all the time. Performance evaluation shows that our mechanism can improve the efficiency of the process of data re-signature. 展开更多

In view of the deficiencies in aspects such as failure rate requirements and analysis assumptions of advisory circular,this paper investigates the sources of high safety requirements,and the top-down design method for the flight control system life cycle.Correspondingly,measures are proposed,including enhancing the safety target value to 10^(−10)per flight hour and implementing development assurance.In view of the shortcomings of mainstream aircraft flight control systems,such as weak backup capability and complex fault reconfiguration logic,improvements have been made to the system’s operating modes,control channel allocation,and common mode failure mitigation schemes based on the existing flight control architecture.The flight control design trends and philosophies have been analyzed.A flight control system architecture scheme is proposed,which includes three operating modes and multi-level voters/monitors,three main control channels,and a backup system independent of the main control system,which has been confirmed through functional modeling simulations.The proposed method plays an important role in the architecture design of safety-critical flight control system. 展开更多

Survivability model of LEO satellite constellation based on GERT with limited backup resources

Survivability is used to evaluate the ability of the satellite to complete the mission after failure,while the duration of maintaining performance is often ignored.An effective backup strategy can restore the constellation performance timely,and maintain good network communication performance in case of satellite failure.From the perspective of network utility,the low Earth orbit(LEO)satellite constellation survivable graphical eva-luation and review technology(GERT)network with backup satel-lites is constructed.A network utility transfer function algorithm based on moment generating function and Mason formula is proposed,the network survivability evaluation models of on-orbit backup strategy and ground backup strategy are established.The survivable GERT model can deduce the expected mainte-nance time of LEO satellite constellation under different fault states and the network utility generated during the state mainte-nance period.The case analysis shows that the proposed surviv-able GERT model can consider the satellite failure rate,backup satellite replacement rate,maneuver control replacement ability and life requirement,and effectively determine the optimal sur-vivable backup strategy for LEO satellite constellation with limi-ted resources according to the expected network utility. 展开更多

[Objective] This study was to construct VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system, in order to achieve the backup transmission of real-time meteorological services in all levels of meteorological stations. [Method] The current situations and business requirements of municipal meteorological networks are analyzed, putting forward the idea of backup routes that using VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system as the ground transmission line. And the network structure, operation mode and the system implementation are described in detail. [Result] VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system realizes the backup of ground line. Compared with the Modem dial-up, it is more stable and with faster transferring speed. With the rapid development of communication technology and computer technology, the information transmission system will be more efficient and stable, and will play a greater role in meteorological information transmission. [Conclusion] With the continuous development of modern meteorology, various types of meteorological data increase, presenting higher demand for the meteorological information transmission system. The precision of strip flatness depends on several factors; wear of rolls is one of the main variables that have influence on the surface quality of the strip. The wear of the roils represents a complex friction condition, sometimes the wear in the backup roll is not analyzed because the strip is not in contact with the backup roll; however, after several campaigns of rolling, the wear in the backup roll becomes dangerous because the pressure distribution is not uniform. Investigation of mechanism of the surface deterioration of the backup roll for the hot strip rolling is very important for the development of the automatic strip shape control system used in hot strip mills. A mathematical model is developed considering the Hertzian pressure distribution between two cylinders with parallel axes. It is used in real time for calculating the wear in the backup roll and in this manner take deci- sions for preventing finished product reworking or damage of equipments, which result in accidents caused by excessive wear in the backup rolls. 展开更多

An Efficient Real-Time Fault-Tolerant Scheduling Algorithm Based on Multiprocessor Systems 被引量:6

In the context of real-time fault-tolerant scheduling in multiprocessor systems, Primary-backup scheme plays an important role. A backup copy is always preferred to be executed as passive backup copy whenever possible because it can take the advantages of backup copy de-allocation technique and overloading technique to improve schedulability. In this paper, we propose a novel efficient fault-tolerant ratemonotonic best-fit algorithm efficient fault-tolerant rate-monotonic best-fit (ERMBF) based on multiprocessors systems to enhance the schedulability. Unlike existing scheduling algorithms that start scheduling tasks with only one processor. ERMBF pre-allocates a certain amount of processors before starting scheduling tasks, which enlarge the searching spaces for tasks. Besides, when a new processor is allocated, we reassign the task copies that have already been assigned to the existing processors in order to find a superior tasks assignment configuration. These two strategies are all aiming at making as many backup copies as possible to be executed as passive status. As a result, ERMBF can use fewer processors to schedule a set of tasks without losing real-time and fault-tolerant capabilities of the system. Simulation results reveal that ERMBF significantly improves the schedulability over existing, comparable algorithms in literature. 展开更多

Mobile Ad hoc Networks(MANETs) play an important role in emergency communications where network needs to be constructed temporarily and quickly.Since the nodes move randomly,routing protocols must be highly effective and reliable to guarantee successful packet delivery.Based on the data delivery structure,most of the existing multicast routing protocols can be classified into two folders:tree-based and mesh-based.We observe that tree-based ones have high forwarding efficiency and low consumptions of bandwidth,and they may have poor robustness because only one link exists between two nodes.As a treebased multicast routing protocol,MAODV(Multicast Ad hoc On-demand Vector) shows an excellent performance in lightweight ad hoc networks.As the load of network increases,QoS(Quality of Service) is degraded obviously.In this paper,we analyze the impact of network load on MAODV protocol,and propose an optimized protocol MAODV-BB(Multicast Ad hoc On-demand Vector with Backup Branches),which improves robustness of the MAODV protocol by combining advantages of the tree structure and the mesh structure.It not only can update shorter tree branches but also construct a multicast tree with backup branches.Mathematical analysis and simulation results both demonstrate that the MAODV-BB protocol improves the network performance over conventional MAODV in heavy load ad hoc networks. 展开更多

This paper describes a method for building hot snapshot copy based on windows-file system (HSCF). The architecture and running mechanism of HSCF are discussed after giving a comparison with other on-line backup tecbnology. HSCF, based on a file system filter driver, protects computer data and ensures their integrity and consistency with following three steps: access to open files, synchronization and copy on-write. Its strategies for improving system performance are analyzed including priority setting, incremental snapshot and load balance. HSCF is a new kind of snapshot technology to solve the data integrity and consistency problem in online backup, which is different from other storage-level snapshot and Open File Solution. 展开更多

The method implements a blocklevel storage optimization, by employing the algorithms of chunking image file into blocks, the blockffmger calculation and the block dedup li cation. A File system in Use Space (FUSE) based storage process for VDeskCAS is also introduced which optimizes current direct storage to suit our content addressable storage. An interface level modification makes our system easy to extend. Experiments on virtual desktop image files and normal files verify the effectiveness of our method and above 60% storage volume decrease is a chieved for Red Hat Enterprise Linux image files.
