The results from interpretation of the aerophotos and in-situ seismogeological researches show that there are some obvious late-Quaternary activities along the Moxi-Mianning segment of the Xianshuihe-Anninghe fault zo...The results from interpretation of the aerophotos and in-situ seismogeological researches show that there are some obvious late-Quaternary activities along the Moxi-Mianning segment of the Xianshuihe-Anninghe fault zone, with the characteristics of sinistral-slip movement accompanied by some significant vertical slip components. Since late-Quaternary, the average horizontal slip rate of the segment at the south of Moxi along the Xianshuihe fault is 6.0~9.9mm/a and 4.7~5.3mm/a along the segment at the north of Mianning of the Anninghe fault. The results from the investigation of coseismic dislocation and ground rupture show that the ground rupture caused by 1876 Kangding-Luding earthquake with M 7 3/ 4 can extend to the south of Tianwan. The segment at the north of Mianning of the Anninghe fault has a background for producing M7.5 earthquake and the geological record of the last strong earthquake must be the proofs of the 1327 earthquake with M>6.0 with poor historical records.展开更多

By jointly optimizing the link selection strategy, the UAV position, and the reflection coefficient of the IRS, we aim to maximize the long-term average secrecy rate. Specifically, we propose a novel buffer in/out stabilization scheme based on the Lyapunov framework, which transforms the long-term average secrecy rate maximization problem into two per-slot drift-plus-penalty minimization problems with different link selection factors. The hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization-Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm (PSO-AFSA) is adopted to optimize the UAV position, and the IRS reflection coefficient optimization problem is solved by iterative optimization in which auxiliary variables and standard convex optimization algorithms are introduced. Finally, the delay constraint is set to ensure the timeliness of information packets. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed scheme outperforms the comparison schemes in terms of average secrecy rate. Specifically, the addition of BA improves the average secrecy rate by 1.37 bps/Hz, and the continued optimizations of IRS reflection coefficients and UAV positions improve the average secrecy rate by 2.46 bps/Hz and 3.75 bps/Hz, respectively.展开更多

UAV-aided cellular networks,millimeter wave(mm-wave) communications and multi-antenna techniques are viewed as promising components of the solution for beyond-5G(B5G) and even 6G communications.By leveraging the power...UAV-aided cellular networks,millimeter wave(mm-wave) communications and multi-antenna techniques are viewed as promising components of the solution for beyond-5G(B5G) and even 6G communications.By leveraging the power of stochastic geometry,this paper aims at providing an effective framework for modeling and analyzing a UAV-aided heterogeneous cellular network,where the terrestrial base stations(TBSs) and the UAV base stations(UBSs) coexist,and the UBSs are provided with mm-wave and multi-antenna techniques.By modeling the TBSs as a PPP and the UBSs as a Matern hard-core point process of type Ⅱ(MPH-Ⅱ),approximated but accurate analytical results for the average rate of the typical user of both tiers are derived through an approximation method based on the mean interference-to-signal ratio(MISR) gain.The influence of some relevant parameters is discussed in detail,and some insights into the network deployment and optimization are revealed.Numerical results show that some trade-offs are worthy of being considered,such as the antenna array size,the altitude of the UAVs and the power control factor of the UBSs.展开更多
The magneto-hydrodynamics(MHD)effect is studied at different inclined angles in Rayleigh-Bénard(RB)convection inside a rectangular enclosure using the lattice Boltzmann method(LBM).The enclosure is filled with el...The magneto-hydrodynamics(MHD)effect is studied at different inclined angles in Rayleigh-Bénard(RB)convection inside a rectangular enclosure using the lattice Boltzmann method(LBM).The enclosure is filled with electrically conducting fluids of different characteristics.These characteristics are defined by Prandtl number,Pr.The considered Pr values for this study are 10 and 70.The influence of other dimensionless parameters Rayleigh numbers Ra=10^(3);10^(4);10^(5);10^(6) and Hartmann numbers Ha=0,10,25,50,100,on fluid flow and heat transfer,are also investigated considering different inclined anglesφof magnetic field by analyzing computed local Nusselt numbers and average Nusselt numbers.The results of the study show the undoubted prediction capability of LBM for the current problem.The simulated results demonstrate that the augmentation in heat transfer is directly related to Ra values,but it is opposite while observing the characteristics of Ha values.However,it is also found thatφhas a significant impact on heat transfer for different fluids.Besides,isotherms are found to be always parallel to the horizontal axis at Ra=10^(3) as conduction overcomes the convection in the heat transfer,but this behaviour is not seen at Ra=10^(4) when Ha>25.Furthermore,at Ra=10^(6),oscillatory instability appears but LBM is still able to provide a complete map of this predicted behavior.An appropriate validation with previous numerical studies demonstrates the accuracy of the present approach.展开更多
In this paper,we design a spatial modulation based orthogonal time frequency space(SMOTFS)system to achieve improved transmission reliability and meet the high transmission rate and highspeed demands of future mobile ...In this paper,we design a spatial modulation based orthogonal time frequency space(SMOTFS)system to achieve improved transmission reliability and meet the high transmission rate and highspeed demands of future mobile communications,which fully utilizes the characteristics of spatial modulation(SM)and orthogonal time frequency space(OTFS)transmission.The detailed system design and signal processing of the SM-OTFS system have been presented.The closed-form expressions of the average symbol error rate(ASER)and average bit error rate(ABER)of the SM-OTFS system have been derived over the delay-Doppler channel with the help of the union bounding technique and moment-generating function(MGF).Meanwhile,the system complexity has been evaluated.Numerical results verify the correctness of the theoretical ASER and ABER analysis of the SM-OTFS system in the high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)regions and also show that the SM-OTFS system outperforms the traditional SM based orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(SM-OFDM)system with limited complexity increase under mobile conditions,especially in high mobility scenarios.展开更多
Specific ion effects(Hofmeister effects)have recently attracted the attention of soil scientists,and it has been found that ionic non-classic polarization plays an important role in the specific ion effect in soil.How...Specific ion effects(Hofmeister effects)have recently attracted the attention of soil scientists,and it has been found that ionic non-classic polarization plays an important role in the specific ion effect in soil.However,this explanation cannot be applied to H+.The aim of this work was to characterize the specific ion effect of H+on variably charged soil(yellow soil)colloid aggregation.The total average aggregation(TAA)rate,critical coagulation concentration(CCC),activation energy,and zeta potential were used to characterize and compare the specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+.Results showed that strong specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+existed in variably charged soil colloid aggregation.The TAA rate,CCC,and activation energy were sensitive to H+,and the addition of a small amount of H+changed the TAA rate,CCC,and activation energy markedly.The zeta potential results indicated that the specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+on soil colloid aggregation were caused by the specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+on the soil electric field strength.In addition,the origin of the specific ion effect for H+was its chemical adsorption onto surfaces,while those for alkali cations were non-classic polarization.This study indicated that H+,which occurs naturally in variably charged soils,will dominate variably charged soil colloid aggregation.展开更多

The hydraulic transformer evolves from a pressure transducer to a power transducer. The flow characteristics of VHT, such as its instantaneous flow rates, average flow rates, and flow pulsations in the ports, are investigated. Matlab software is used to simulate and calculate. There are five controlled angles of the port plate that can help to define the flow characteristics of VHT. The relationships between the flow characteristics and the structure in VHT are shown. Also, the plus-minus change of the average flow rates and the continuity of the instantaneous flow rates in the ports are presented. The results demonstrate the performance laws of VHT when the controlled angles of the port plate and of the swash plate change. The results also reveal that the special principle of the flow pulsation in the ports and the jump points of the instantaneous curves are the two basic causes of its loud noise, and that the control angles of the port plate and the swash plate and the pressures in the ports are the three key factors of the noise.展开更多

The corrosion experiments are carried out on welded joint samples, which is as-welded and post-weld heat treatment at 650 ℃, 750 ℃ and 850 ℃, for 2 h in 70% sodium hydroxide solution. EDS and X-ray diffraction analysis are carried out on the samples after corrosion. Average corrosion rate calculation and microhardness measurement are conducted on both as- welded and post-weld heat treatment samples. The results indicate that average corrosion rate of as-welded joint metal is smaller than that of post-weld heat treatment joint metal. Compared with that of post-weld heat treatment at 750 ℃ and 850 ℃ for 2 h, the average corrosion rate of welded joint after post-weld heat treatment at 650 ℃ for 2 h increases greatly.展开更多

We first obtain the closed-form solutions to the first-order performance such as outage probability, ave- rage symbol error ratio (SER), and ergodic capacity (EC). Secondly, we investigate the second-order statistical performance, i.e., ave- rage outage rate (AOR) and average outage duration (AOD). With the consideration that in practice implementation the receiver perfor- mance is primarily influenced by the signal- to-noise ratio (SNR) (not the signal envelope), the second-order statistical performance is investigated based on the equivalent instan- taneous end-to-end SNR. Finally, we present the detailed performance comparison analysis of UCR-OR systems by defining a random variable ,μ=Pmax/Q. The results show that the effect of μ on the first-order and second-or- der performances is different greatly. Five typical areas in Chinese mainland are selected on the basis of the hypothesis on active tectonic block, and small earthquakes from 1970 are imported to calculate the annual strain-accumulating rates considering the completeness of historical seismic data. Having introduced the strain-accumulating rates into the amended model, present strain phases are got. The performance of the LECTP is tested by conducting three experiments on Corel-5 000, Corel-10 000 and MIT-VisTex color databases, respectively. The results after investigation show a significant improvement in terms of average retrieval precision (ARP) and average retrieval rate (ARR) as compared to the other state-of-the art techniques in content based image retrieval (CBIR).展开更多

文摘UAV-aided cellular networks,millimeter wave(mm-wave) communications and multi-antenna techniques are viewed as promising components of the solution for beyond-5G(B5G) and even 6G communications.By leveraging the power of stochastic geometry,this paper aims at providing an effective framework for modeling and analyzing a UAV-aided heterogeneous cellular network,where the terrestrial base stations(TBSs) and the UAV base stations(UBSs) coexist,and the UBSs are provided with mm-wave and multi-antenna techniques.By modeling the TBSs as a PPP and the UBSs as a Matern hard-core point process of type Ⅱ(MPH-Ⅱ),approximated but accurate analytical results for the average rate of the typical user of both tiers are derived through an approximation method based on the mean interference-to-signal ratio(MISR) gain.The influence of some relevant parameters is discussed in detail,and some insights into the network deployment and optimization are revealed.Numerical results show that some trade-offs are worthy of being considered,such as the antenna array size,the altitude of the UAVs and the power control factor of the UBSs.

文摘The magneto-hydrodynamics(MHD)effect is studied at different inclined angles in Rayleigh-Bénard(RB)convection inside a rectangular enclosure using the lattice Boltzmann method(LBM).The enclosure is filled with electrically conducting fluids of different characteristics.These characteristics are defined by Prandtl number,Pr.The considered Pr values for this study are 10 and 70.The influence of other dimensionless parameters Rayleigh numbers Ra=10^(3);10^(4);10^(5);10^(6) and Hartmann numbers Ha=0,10,25,50,100,on fluid flow and heat transfer,are also investigated considering different inclined anglesφof magnetic field by analyzing computed local Nusselt numbers and average Nusselt numbers.The results of the study show the undoubted prediction capability of LBM for the current problem.The simulated results demonstrate that the augmentation in heat transfer is directly related to Ra values,but it is opposite while observing the characteristics of Ha values.However,it is also found thatφhas a significant impact on heat transfer for different fluids.Besides,isotherms are found to be always parallel to the horizontal axis at Ra=10^(3) as conduction overcomes the convection in the heat transfer,but this behaviour is not seen at Ra=10^(4) when Ha>25.Furthermore,at Ra=10^(6),oscillatory instability appears but LBM is still able to provide a complete map of this predicted behavior.An appropriate validation with previous numerical studies demonstrates the accuracy of the present approach.

文摘In this paper,we design a spatial modulation based orthogonal time frequency space(SMOTFS)system to achieve improved transmission reliability and meet the high transmission rate and highspeed demands of future mobile communications,which fully utilizes the characteristics of spatial modulation(SM)and orthogonal time frequency space(OTFS)transmission.The detailed system design and signal processing of the SM-OTFS system have been presented.The closed-form expressions of the average symbol error rate(ASER)and average bit error rate(ABER)of the SM-OTFS system have been derived over the delay-Doppler channel with the help of the union bounding technique and moment-generating function(MGF).Meanwhile,the system complexity has been evaluated.Numerical results verify the correctness of the theoretical ASER and ABER analysis of the SM-OTFS system in the high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)regions and also show that the SM-OTFS system outperforms the traditional SM based orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(SM-OFDM)system with limited complexity increase under mobile conditions,especially in high mobility scenarios.

文摘Specific ion effects(Hofmeister effects)have recently attracted the attention of soil scientists,and it has been found that ionic non-classic polarization plays an important role in the specific ion effect in soil.However,this explanation cannot be applied to H+.The aim of this work was to characterize the specific ion effect of H+on variably charged soil(yellow soil)colloid aggregation.The total average aggregation(TAA)rate,critical coagulation concentration(CCC),activation energy,and zeta potential were used to characterize and compare the specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+.Results showed that strong specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+existed in variably charged soil colloid aggregation.The TAA rate,CCC,and activation energy were sensitive to H+,and the addition of a small amount of H+changed the TAA rate,CCC,and activation energy markedly.The zeta potential results indicated that the specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+on soil colloid aggregation were caused by the specific ion effects of H+,K+,and Na+on the soil electric field strength.In addition,the origin of the specific ion effect for H+was its chemical adsorption onto surfaces,while those for alkali cations were non-classic polarization.This study indicated that H+,which occurs naturally in variably charged soils,will dominate variably charged soil colloid aggregation.

文摘A novel Cu?6.5Ni?1Al?1Si?0.15Mg?0.15Ce alloy with super-high strength was designed and its corrosion behavior in3.5%NaCl solution at25°C was investigated by the means of SEM observation,TEM observation and XPS analysis.The alloy after solution treatment,80%cold rolling and aging at450°C for1h had the best comprehensive properties with hardness of HV314,electrical conductivity of19.4%IACS,tensile strength of1017MPa,and average annual corrosion rate of0.028mm/a.The oxides and chloride products formed at first,followed by the formation of dyroxides products.The alloy showed super-high strength,good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistant because Ni2Si hindered the precipitation of large NiAl at the grain boundary and the denickelefication of the alloy.

文摘A new kind of hydraulic transformer, called variable hydraulic transformer(VHT), is proposed to control its load flow rate. The hydraulic transformer evolves from a pressure transducer to a power transducer. The flow characteristics of VHT, such as its instantaneous flow rates, average flow rates, and flow pulsations in the ports, are investigated. Matlab software is used to simulate and calculate. There are five controlled angles of the port plate that can help to define the flow characteristics of VHT. The relationships between the flow characteristics and the structure in VHT are shown. Also, the plus-minus change of the average flow rates and the continuity of the instantaneous flow rates in the ports are presented. The results demonstrate the performance laws of VHT when the controlled angles of the port plate and of the swash plate change. The results also reveal that the special principle of the flow pulsation in the ports and the jump points of the instantaneous curves are the two basic causes of its loud noise, and that the control angles of the port plate and the swash plate and the pressures in the ports are the three key factors of the noise.

文摘Presently,we develop a simplified corticothalamic(SCT)model and propose a single-pulse alternately resetting stimulation(SARS)with sequentially applying anodic(A,“+”)or cathodic(C,“−”)phase pulses to the thalamic reticular(RE)nuclei,thalamus-cortex(TC)relay nuclei,and cortical excitatory(EX)neurons,respectively.Abatement effects of ACC-SARS of RE,TC,and EX for the 2 Hz-4 Hz spike and wave discharges(SWD)of absence seizures are then concerned.The m∶n on-off ACC-SARS protocol is shown to effectively reduce the SWD with the least current consumption.In particular,when its frequency is out of the 2 Hz-4 Hz SWD dominant rhythm,the desired seizure abatements can be obtained,which can be further improved by our proposed directional steering(DS)stimulation.The dynamical explanations for the SARS induced seizure abatements are lastly given by calculating the averaged mean firing rate(AMFR)of neurons and triggering averaged mean firing rates(TAMFRs)of 2 Hz-4 Hz SWD.

文摘An exact average symbol error rate analysis for the distributed dual-hop relay cooperative network with multiple relays in a Nakagami-m fading environment is presented.In the derivation of the moment generation function of receiver Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR),the sectional integral method is used,instead of the cumulative density function method which is ordinarily used by the deduction of the outage probability of S-R-D link.The accurate symbol error rate of a dual-hop relay cooperative network is obtained with the closed-form Moment Genoration Function (MGF) expression.The correctness of the symbol error rate is verified through numerical simulations and is compared with other analytical methods.These deductions clearly show that the distributed cooperative diversity network presented has strong superiorities in overcoming severe fading and can achieve full diversity order.
文摘The dissimilar metals 1Crl8Ni9 and 16MnR are welded by shielded metal arc welding process using electrode A312. The corrosion experiments are carried out on welded joint samples, which is as-welded and post-weld heat treatment at 650 ℃, 750 ℃ and 850 ℃, for 2 h in 70% sodium hydroxide solution. EDS and X-ray diffraction analysis are carried out on the samples after corrosion. Average corrosion rate calculation and microhardness measurement are conducted on both as- welded and post-weld heat treatment samples. The results indicate that average corrosion rate of as-welded joint metal is smaller than that of post-weld heat treatment joint metal. Compared with that of post-weld heat treatment at 750 ℃ and 850 ℃ for 2 h, the average corrosion rate of welded joint after post-weld heat treatment at 650 ℃ for 2 h increases greatly.
文摘To guarantee the security of Internet of Things(IoT)devices,the blockchain tech⁃nology is often applied to clustered IoT networks.However,cluster heads(CHs)need to un⁃dertake additional control tasks.For battery-powered IoT devices,the conventional CH se⁃lection algorithm is limited.Based on the above problem,an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)network assisted clustered IoT system is proposed,and a corresponding UAV CH se⁃lection algorithm is designed.In this scheme,UAVs are selected as CHs to serve IoT clus⁃ters.The proposed CH selection algorithm considers the maximal transmit power,residual energy and distance information of UAVs,which can greatly extend the working life of IoT clusters.Through Monte Carlo simulation,the key performance indexes of the system,in⁃cluding energy consumption,average secrecy rate and the maximal number of data packets received by the base station(BS),are evaluated.The simulation results show that the pro⁃posed algorithm has great advantages compared with the existing CH selection algorithms.

文摘Abstract: This paper focuses on the first-or- der and second-order performance of dual-hop underlay cognitive radio systems with oppor- tunistic relaying (UCR-OR) over indepen- dent and non-identically distributed (i.ni.d) Rayleigh fading channels. For the UCR-OR systems, the tolerable maximum interference power (TMIP) Q at primary users (PUs) and the allowable maximum transmission power limit (AMTP) P at secondary users (SUs) are considered, simultaneously. We first obtain the closed-form solutions to the first-order performance such as outage probability, ave- rage symbol error ratio (SER), and ergodic capacity (EC). Secondly, we investigate the second-order statistical performance, i.e., ave- rage outage rate (AOR) and average outage duration (AOD). With the consideration that in practice implementation the receiver perfor- mance is primarily influenced by the signal- to-noise ratio (SNR) (not the signal envelope), the second-order statistical performance is investigated based on the equivalent instan- taneous end-to-end SNR. Finally, we present the detailed performance comparison analysis of UCR-OR systems by defining a random variable ,μ=Pmax/Q. The results show that the effect of μ on the first-order and second-or- der performances is different greatly. For the first-order performance, the perlbrmance gap is negligible when the value of// is relatively large. However, for the second-order one, the gap is distinct.

文摘According to the deficiency of the strain accumulating and releasing curves and the previous models, the strain-accumulating rate of the strain accumulating and releasing model has been deduced based on the G-R relation and the empirical formula between energy release and earthquake magnitude, where the strain-accumulating rate is relative independent of the strain-releasing rate. Five typical areas in Chinese mainland are selected on the basis of the hypothesis on active tectonic block, and small earthquakes from 1970 are imported to calculate the annual strain-accumulating rates considering the completeness of historical seismic data. Having introduced the strain-accumulating rates into the amended model, present strain phases are got. According to the present stages in their own cycles, the future earthquake tendency of each sub-region is discussed.

文摘Wireless communications have to face to several different security issues in practice due to the nature of broadcast.The information theory is well known to provide efficient approaches to address security issues in wireless communications,which attracts much attention in both industry and academia in recent years.In this paper,inspired by information theory,we study the outage probability of the opportunistic relay selection based on cognitive decode-and-forward relaying with the secrecy consideration.Specifically,the closed-form expression of the outage probability is proposed.Moreover,the asymptotic performance evaluation on the basis of the analytical results is investigated.The simulation results show that the relay selection can reduce the outage probability in accordance with our theoretical analysis.

文摘The maintenance model of simple repairable system is studied.We assume that there are two types of failure,namely type Ⅰ failure(repairable failure)and type Ⅱ failure(irrepairable failure).As long as the type Ⅰ failure occurs,the system will be repaired immediately,which is failure repair(FR).Between the(n-1)th and the nth FR,the system is supposed to be preventively repaired(PR)as the consecutive working time of the system reaches λ^(n-1) T,where λ and T are specified values.Further,we assume that the system will go on working when the repair is finished and will be replaced at the occurrence of the Nth type Ⅰ failure or the occurrence of the first type Ⅱ failure,whichever occurs first.In practice,the system will degrade with the increasing number of repairs.That is,the consecutive working time of the system forms a decreasing generalized geometric process(GGP)whereas the successive repair time forms an increasing GGP.A simple bivariate policy(T,N)repairable model is introduced based on GGP.The alternative searching method is used to minimize the cost rate function C(N,T),and the optimal(T,N)^(*) is obtained.Finally,numerical cases are applied to demonstrate the reasonability of this model.
文摘This paper presents a new feature descriptor, namely local extreme complete trio pattern (LECTP) for image retrieval application. The LECTP extracts complete extreme to minimal edge information in all possible directions using trio values. The LECTP integrates the local extreme sign trio patterns (LESTP) with magnitude local operator (MLOP) for image retrieval. The performance of the LECTP is tested by conducting three experiments on Corel-5 000, Corel-10 000 and MIT-VisTex color databases, respectively. The results after investigation show a significant improvement in terms of average retrieval precision (ARP) and average retrieval rate (ARR) as compared to the other state-of-the art techniques in content based image retrieval (CBIR).
