A recent study by Nishizawa et al presented significant findings regarding the advantages of next-generation colonoscopes,specifically the CF-XZ1200 and CFEZ1500 models,in enhancing the adenoma and sessile serrated lesion detection rates.As colorectal cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally,the implications of improved detection rates are substantial.This letter advocated the adoption of advanced colonoscopy technology,emphasizing the robust methodology of the study,including propensity score matching,which enhanced the validity of its conclusions.Notable improvements in image quality,facilitated by innovations such as 4 K resolution and texture enhancement imaging,enable endoscopists to identify even the smallest lesions,ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.Given the compelling evidence presented,it is imperative for healthcare institutions to prioritize the integration of these advanced scopes into routine practice to enhance screening efficacy and reduce the burden of colorectal cancer. 展开更多

As the size of transistors shrinks and power density increases,thermal simulation has become an indispensable part of the device design procedure.However,existing works for advanced technology transistors use simplified empirical models to calculate effective thermal conductivity in the simulations.In this work,we present a dataset of size-dependent effective thermal conductivity with electron and phonon properties extracted from ab initio computations.Absolute in-plane and cross-plane thermal conductivity data of eight semiconducting materials(Si,Ge,GaN,AlN,4H-SiC,GaAs,InAs,BAs)and four metallic materials(Al,W,TiN,Ti)with the characteristic length ranging from 5 nm to 50 nm have been provided.Besides the absolute value,normalized effective thermal conductivity is also given,in case it needs to be used with updated bulk thermal conductivity in the future. 展开更多

Since domestic corporations firstly introduced into and implemented the Advanced Manufacturing Technology(AMT),how to scientifically evaluate the implementation effects of AMT has been an urgent problem.Through the review of for-eign relative studies,this paper constructs an indicator system used to evaluate the implementation effects of AMT.Operational performance,Organizational or managerial performance,Satisfactory performance,and Competitive performance are indicators of first level in the system,and 19 indicators of second level have been selected to estimate the implementation effects of AMT.In this study,a model based on Minkowski distance discriminance to select the specialists’opinion was designed to evaluate the indica-tor system,and the measure’s validity and practicability was proved by a case study to a diesel engine factory. 展开更多

Advanced manufacturing technology(AMT)is pivotal for firms to gain manufacturing performance and com-petitive advantage.Job characteristics,as a kind of important factors affecting the implementation effects of AMT,have become the focus in the field of academy.Based on a literature review,this study refines the implementation effects of AMT into opera-tional performance,satisfaction and competitive performance,and reclassifies the job characteristics of AMT into job autonomy,job responsibility,job complexity and job significance.With a large sample of 307 equipment-manufacturing firms selected from the 2005 China International Equipment and Manufacturing Exposition,linear structural equation analysis(LIEREL)is per-formed to examine the relationships between job characteristics and the implementation effects of AMT.The results show that job re-sponsibility and job significance have positive effects on satisfaction;satisfaction is positively correlated with operational perfor-mance;operational performance positively affects competitive performance.The findings provide the guide for firms to improve satisfaction,achieve higher operational performance and further gain higher competitive by reasonable job redesign. 展开更多

In Liaoning, Hunan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Gansu, Sichuan, Anhui, Jilin and other provinces in China, there is a wide occurrence of metal quantity over 1000 tons of refractory gold ores, principally because of low gold recoveries and become "stay mine". Features of refi'actory gold ores are: gold in micro-particles or a microscopic state that is wrapped in pyrite, presence of arsenopyrite and other sulfide minerals or disseminated in the crystal lattice of sulfide minerals; harmful impurity elements such as arsenic, carbon, mercury, antimony, copper with high content are closely related with the gold, and these elements affect the contact reaction between the gold and solvent extraction, making the recovery of the gold extraction process low. In the past 20 years, overseas countries have developed the application of the roasting oxidation method, hot acid (alkali) oxidation, bacterial oxidation and flash chlorination oxidation technology to solve this problem.Among these, biological oxidation has developed rapidly in the domestic market and gold enterprises abroad because of its low investment in infrastructure, low production costs, less environmental pollution, simple process and easy control, etc. 展开更多
