Design of Weldable and Recyclable Fluorine-containing Adhesives Utilizing Dynamic-covalent Boroxine Bonds

The advancement of functional adhesives featuring recyclable and repairable properties is of great significance in interfacial science and engineering.Herein,a series of high-strength,recyclable fluorine-containing adhesives(ESOx-FPF)were designed and synthesized by crosslinking two prepolymers,FPF-B(derived from side-chain fluorinated diol,isocyanate,and aminoboric acid)and ESO-B(synthesized from biobased epoxy soybean oil and aminoboric acid),through dynamic boro-oxygen bonds.The resulting adhesive exhibited an optimal tensile strength of 42 MPa and the shear strength on steel plates reached as high as 3.89 MPa.More importantly,benefiting from the dynamic reversibility of the boron-oxygen bonds along with the hydrogen bonds interaction,ESOx-FPF can be welded with the assistance of solvents and recycled for multiple cycles.The outstanding healing efficiency and excellent reprocessability of these functional adhesives were confirmed by mechanical testing.Moreover,the as-prepared adhesives demonstrated universal and remarkable adhesion to various substrates,such as aromatic polyamide,aluminum plates and polycarbonate,meanwhile,they could be easily disassembled and recycled using ethanol without damaging the substrates surface.This study not only provides a simple strategy for the synthesis of eco-friendly adhesives with weldable and recyclable properties,but also sheds light on the development of other functional materials utilizing dynamic covalent chemistry. 展开更多

By summarizing the composition,classification,and performance characterization of functional adhesive materials,the adhesion mechanisms of functional adhesive materials,such as adsorption/surface reaction,diffusion,mechanical interlocking,and electrostatic adsorption,are expounded.The research status of these materials in oil and gas drilling and production engineering field such as lost circulation prevention/control,wellbore stabilization,hydraulic fracturing,and profile control and water plugging,and their application challenges and prospects in oil and gas drilling and production are introduced comprehensively.According to the applications of functional adhesive materials in the field of oil and gas drilling and production at this stage,the key research directions of functional adhesive materials in the area of oil and gas drilling and production are proposed:(1)blending and modifying thermoplastic resins or designing curable thermoplastic resins to improve the bonding performance and pressure bearing capacity of adhesive lost circulation materials;(2)introducing low-cost adhesive groups and positive charge structures into polymers to reduce the cost of wellbore strengthening agents and improve their adhesion performance on the wellbore;(3)introducing thermally reversible covalent bond into thermosetting resin to prevent backflow of proppant and improve the compressive strength of adhesive proppant;(4)introducing thermally reversible covalent bonds into thermoplastic polymers to improve the temperature resistance,salt-resistance and water shutoff performance of adhesive water shutoff agents. 展开更多

Effect of Yiqitongyanghuatan Recipe on Experimental Atherosclerosis in Rabbits 被引量:1

In order to investigate the roles of Yiqitongyanghuatan (YQTYHT) recipe in reducing the levels of serum cholesterol and plasma lipid peroxidation(LPO), platelet aggregation function (PAgF) and platelet adhesion function (PAdF), the area of atherosclerotic plague coverage in aorta and the thickness of plague, 32 male Japanese white rabbits were divided into 4 groups. The results showed that the YQTYHT recipe could significantly lower the levels of serum cholesterol and tryglyceride, plasma LPO, and PAgF and PadF. The area of atherosclerotic plague coverage in aorta and the thickness of plague in the YQTYHT fed rabbits were decreased as compared with that in the high cholesterol fed rabbits. The above roles might contribute to the main mechanism of YQTYHT against atherosclerosis. 展开更多

Adhesion Improvement of Zirconium Coating on Polyurethane Modified by Plasmas

In order to improve the adhesion of the middle frequency magnetic sputtered zirconium coating on a polyurethane film,an anode layer source was used to pretreat the polyurethane film with nitrogen and oxygen ions.SEMs and AFM roughness profiles of treated samples and the contrast groups were obtained.Besides,XPS survey spectrums and high resolution spectrums were also investigated.The adhesion test revealed that ion bombardment could improve the adhesion to the polyurethane coating substrate.A better etching result of oxygen ions versus nitrogen predicts a higher bonding strength of zirconium coating on polyurethane and,indeed,the highest bonding strengths are for oxygen ion bombardment upto 13.3 MPa.As demonstrated in X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,the oxygen ion also helps to introduce more active groups,and,therefore,it achieves a high value of adhesion strength. 展开更多
