The films prepared by doctor blade method were characterized with X-ray diffractometer(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM). The existence of oxygen vacancies in the WO3-x was confirmed with an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), and the accurate oxygen index was determined by a modified potentiometric titrimetry method. After 3h of photoelectrocatalytic reduction, the formic acid yield of the WO3-x/TiO2 film is 872 nmol/cm^2, which is 1.83 times that of the WO3/TiO2 film. The corrosion resistance of Ni-P/TiO2 film coated on NdFeB magnet,in 0.5 mol/L NaCl solution, was studied by potentiodynamic polarization, salt spray test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The self-corrosion current density (icorr) and the polarization resistance (Rp) of Ni-P/TiO2 film are 0.22 μA/cm2 (about 14% of that of Ni-P coating),and 120 kΩ·cm2 (about 2 times of that of Ni-P coating),respectively. At room temperature and in ambient atmosphere, crystalline TiO2 thin films were deposited on polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), SiO2-coated PMMA and SiO2-coated silicone rubber substrates from the as-prepared TiO2 sol by a dip-coating process. SiO2 layers prior to TiO2 thin films on polymer substrates could not only protect the substrates from the photocatalytic decomposition of the TiO2 thin films but also enhance the adhesion of the TiO2 thin films to the substrates. Field-emission type scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) investigations revealed that the average particle sizes of the nanoparticles composing the TiO2 thin films were about 35-47 nm. The TiO2 thin films exhibited high photocatalytic activities in the degradation of reactive brilliant red dye X-3B in aqueous solution under aerated conditions. The preparation process of photocatalytic TiO2 thin films on the polymer substrates was quite simple and a low temperature route.展开更多

In order to obtain TiO2 coating with controllable morphology and high porosity, nanoporous TiO2 films were fabricated on conducting glass (FTO) substrates, Ti thin films (1.5-2 gin) were deposited on conducting glass (FTO) substrates via the DC sputtering method, and then electrochemically anodized in NH4F/ethylene glycol solution. The crystalline structure and surface morphology of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), respectively. The influences of anodizing potential, electrolyte composition, and pH value on the surface morphology of nanoporous TiO2 films were extensively studied. The growth mechanism of nanoporous TiO2 films was discussed by current density variations with anodizing time. The results demonstrate that nanoporous TiO2 films with high porosity and three-dimensional (3D) networks are observed at 30 V, when the NH4F concentration in ethylene glycol solution is 0.3% (mass fraction) and the electrolyte pH value is 5.0.展开更多

Au nanoparticles (NPs) films are decorated onto the top of TNA films with the aid of ion-sputtering and thermal annealing. An enhanced photocatalytic activity under ultraviolet C (UVC, 266 nm) light irradiation is obtained compared with that of the pristine TNA, which is shown by the steady-state photoluminescence (PL) spectra. Furthermore, a distinct blue shift in the nanosecond time-resolved transient photoluminescence (NTRT-PL) spectra is observed. Such a phenomenon could be well explained by considering the competition between the surface photocatalytic process and the recombination of the photo-generated carriers. The enhanced UV photocatalytic activities of the Au-TNA composite are evaluated through photo-degradation of methyl orange (MO) in an aqueous solution with ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrometry. Our current work may provide a simple strategy to synthesize defect-related composite photocatalytic devices.展开更多

X-ray diffraction measurements indicate that the samples are easy to form the futile structure, and the sizes of the crystal grains grow big and big as the Mn concentration increases. X-ray photoemlssion spectroscopy measurements and high resolution transmission electron microscope photographs confirm that the manganese ions have been effectively doped into the TiO2 crystal when the Mn concentration is lower than 21%. The magnetic property measurements show that the Ti1-xMnxO2 (x = 0.21) films are ferromagnetic at room temperature, and the saturation magnetization, coercivity, and saturation field are 16.0 emu/cm^3, 167.5 × 80 A/m and 3740 × 80 A/m at room temperature, respectively. The room-temperature ferromagnetism of the films can be attributed to the new futile Ti1-xMnxO2 structure formed by the substitution of Mn^4+ for Ti^4+ into the TiO2 crystal .lattice, and could be explained by O vacancy (Vo)-enhanced ferromagnetism model.展开更多

Crystalline structure, morphology, and optical properties of pure and vanadium-doped TiO2 thin films were studied by different techniques such as x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmittance electron microscopy, and UV–visible transmission spectrum. The doctor blade method which is compatible with roll-2-roll printing was used for deposition of pure and vanadium-doped TiO2 thin films with thicknesses of 30 nm and 60 nm. The final results revealed that the best thickness of TiO2 thin films for our fabricated cells was 30 nm. The cell with vanadium-doped TiO2 thin film showed slightly higher power conversion efficiency and great Jsc of 10.7 mA/cm^2 compared with its pure counterpart. In the cells using 60 nm pure and vanadium-doped TiO2 layers, the cell using the doped layer showed much higher efficiency. It is remarkable that the external quantum efficiency of vanadium-doped TiO2 thin film was better in all wavelengths.展开更多

The effects of adscititious voltage and pH value on the decolorization ratios were obvious while the effect of the amount of aeration was minor.展开更多

文摘This paper reports the improvement of electrical, ferroelectric and endurance of Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)(HZO)thinfilm capacitors by implementing W electrode. The W/HZO/W capacitor shows excellent pristine 2 P_(r)values of 45.1 gC/cm^(2)at±6 V,which are much higher than those of TiN/HZO/W(34.4μC/cm^(2))and W/HZO/TiN(26.9μC/cm^(2))capacitors.Notably,the maximum initial 2 P_(r)value of W/HZO/W capacitor can reach as high as 57.9μC/cm^(2)at±7.5 V.These strong ferroelectric polarization effects are ascribed to the W electrode with a fairly low thermal expansion coefficient which provides a larger in-plane tensile strain compared with TiN electrode, allowing for enhancement of o-phase formation. Moreover, the W/HZO/W capacitor also exhibits higher endurance, smaller wake-up effect(10.1%)and superior fatigue properties up to 1.5×10^(10)cycles compared to the TiN/HZO/W and W/HZO/TiN capacitors.Such improvements of W/HZO/W capacitor are mainly due to the decreased leakage current by more than an order of magnitude compared to the W/HZO/TiN capacitor. These results demonstrate that capping electrode material plays an important role in the enhancement of o-phase formation, reduces oxygen vacancies, mitigates wake-up effect and improves reliability.

The results demonstrate that nanoporous TiO2 films with high porosity and three-dimensional (3D) networks are observed at 30 V, when the NH4F concentration in ethylene glycol solution is 0.3% (mass fraction) and the electrolyte pH value is 5.0.

文摘Highly ordered TiO2 nanotube array (TNA) films are fabricated by using an anodic oxidation method. Our current work may provide a simple strategy to synthesize defect-related composite photocatalytic devices.

文摘This paper reported that the Mn-doped TiO2 films were prepared by radio frequency (RF) magnetron cosputtering. The room-temperature ferromagnetism of the films can be attributed to the new futile Ti1-xMnxO2 structure formed by the substitution of Mn^4+ for Ti^4+ into the TiO2 crystal .lattice, and could be explained by O vacancy (Vo)-enhanced ferromagnetism model.
文摘We investigated the effects of using different thicknesses of pure and vanadium-doped thin films of TiO2 as the electron transport layer in the inverted configuration of organic photovoltaic cells based on poly(3-hexylthiophene) P3HT:[6-6] phenyl-(6) butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM). 1% vanadium-doped TiO2nanoparticles were synthesized via the solvothermal method. It is remarkable that the external quantum efficiency of vanadium-doped TiO2 thin film was better in all wavelengths.
文摘A photoelectrochemical process in the degradation of an azodye (Acid Orange II) on a Pt/TiO 2 film electrode was investigated. By using the glass device and the voltage stabilized source of direct current, decolorization ratios higher than 78% were observed during a period of 5h. Comparing this value with the sum of the decolorization ratios obtained by a sole application of electrochemical(lower than 3%) and photochemical(about 23%) procedures, a significant synergic effect between both processes was observed. The effects of adscititious voltage and pH value on the decolorization ratios were obvious while the effect of the amount of aeration was minor.

文摘TiO2-W films were deposited on the slides by reactive magnetron sputtering. Properties of the films were analyzed via AFM, XRD, XPS, STS, UV-Vis and ellipse polarization apparatus. The results show that TiO2-W films are amorphous. The AFM map reveals that the surface of the film is tough and porous. The experiments of decomposing methylene blue indicate that the thickness threshold on these films is 141 nm, at which the rate of photodegradation is 90% in 2 h. And when the thickness is over 141 nm, the rate of photodegradation does not increase any more. This result is completely different from that of crystalloid TiO2 thin film.

文摘By the UV-curing method, a porous TiO2 film with net-like framework has been prepared. The characterization results of the porous TiO2 film by means of SEM, TEM, XRD, and N2 adsorption-desorption analysis show that the net-like framework of the porous TiO2 film is composed of TiO2 nanoparticles, forming three dimensional porous structure. The porous TiO2 film exhibits higher photocatalytic activity for the degradation of methylene blue(MB) dye compared with the conventional dense TiO2 film.

文摘Microporous titanium dioxide thin films have been grown on titanium plates by the micro-plasma oxidation method with different current densities (4, 6, 10 and 14 A/dm2). X-ray diffraction, scanning electronic microscopy and UV-Vis spectrophotometry were used to characterize the films. It is found that the films grown are microporous and consist of crystalline titanium dioxide. The micropore size and the content of anatase and rutile TiO2 phase increase with the applied voltage. The relatively higher degradation efficiency for rhodamine B is obtained in the film produced with a current density of 10 A/dm2.

文摘To research the influence of oxygen flow rate on the structural and optical properties of TiO2 thin film,TiO2 films on glass were deposited by reactive magnetron sputtering. The microstructure and optical properties were measured by X-ray diffractometry,AFM and UV-VIS transmittance spectroscopy, respectively. The results show that the films deposited at oxygen flow rate of 10 mL/min has the lowest roughness and the highest transmittance. The absorption angle shifts to longer wavelengths as oxygen flow rates increase from 5 to 10 mL/min,then to shorter ones as the oxygen flow rate increase from 10 to 30 mL/min.The band gap is 3.38 eV,which is nearly constant in the experiment. For the TiO2 thin films deposited at 10 mL/min of oxyge flow rate, there are nano-crystalline structures, which are suitable for anti-reflection(AR) coating in the solar cells structure system.
