Virtual network embedding problem which is NP-hard is a key issue for implementing software-defined network which is brought about by network virtualization.Compared with other studies which focus on designing heurist...Virtual network embedding problem which is NP-hard is a key issue for implementing software-defined network which is brought about by network virtualization.Compared with other studies which focus on designing heuristic algorithms to reduce the hardness of the NP-hard problem we propose a robust VNE algorithm based on component connectivity in large-scale network.We distinguish the different components and embed VN requests onto them respectively.And k-core is applied to identify different VN topologies so that the VN request can be embedded onto its corresponding component.On the other hand,load balancing is also considered in this paper.It could avoid blocked or bottlenecked area of substrate network.Simulation experiments show that compared with other algorithms in large-scale network,acceptance ratio,average revenue and robustness can be obviously improved by our algorithm and average cost can be reduced.It also shows the relationship between the component connectivity including giant component and small components and the performance metrics.展开更多
Traditional beamforming techniques may not accurately locate sources in scenarios with both stationary and rotating sound sources.The existence of rotating sound sources can cause blurring in the stationary beamformin...Traditional beamforming techniques may not accurately locate sources in scenarios with both stationary and rotating sound sources.The existence of rotating sound sources can cause blurring in the stationary beamforming map.Current algorithms for separating different moving sound sources have limited effectiveness,leading to significant residual noise,especially when the rotating source is strong enough to mask stationary sources completely.To overcome these challenges,a novel solution utilizing a virtual rotating array in the modal domain combined with robust principal component analysis is proposed to separate sound sources with different rotational speeds.This approach,named Robust Principal Component Analysis in the Modal domain(RPCA-M),investigates the performance of convex nuclear norm and non-convex Schatten-p norm to distinguish stationary and rotating sources.By comparing the errors in Cross-Spectral Matrix(CSM)recovery and acoustic imaging across different algorithms,the effectiveness of RPCA-M in separating stationary and moving sound sources is demonstrated.Importantly,this method effectively separates sound sources,even when there are significant variations in their amplitudes at different rotation speeds.展开更多
Virtual coupling(VC) is an emerging technology for addressing the shortage of rail transportation capacity. As a crucial enabling technology, the VC-specific acquisition of train information, especially train followin...Virtual coupling(VC) is an emerging technology for addressing the shortage of rail transportation capacity. As a crucial enabling technology, the VC-specific acquisition of train information, especially train following distance(TFD), is underdeveloped.In this paper, a novel method is proposed to acquire real-time TFD by analyzing the vibration response of the front and following trains, during which only onboard accelerometers and speedometers are required. In contrast to the traditional arts of train positioning, this method targets a relative position between two adjacent trains in VC operation, rather than the global positions of the trains. For this purpose, an adaptive system containing three strategies is designed to cope with possible adverse factors in train operation. A vehicle dynamics simulation of a heavy-haul railway is implemented for the evaluation of feasibility and performance. Furthermore, a validation is conducted using a set of data measured from in-service Chinese high-speed trains. The results indicate the method achieves satisfactory estimation accuracy using both simulated and actual data. It has favorable adaptability to various uncertainties possibly encountered in train operation. Additionally, the method is preliminarily proven to adapt to different locomotive types and even different rail transportation modes. In general, such a method with good performance, low-cost, and easy implementation is promising to apply.展开更多
