Firstly, this paper constructs an affine augmented system(AAS) within a pre-compensation technique for converting the original nonaffine dynamics into affine dynamics. Secondly, the paper derives a stability criterion linking the original nonaffine system and the auxiliary system, demonstrating that the obtained optimal policies from the auxiliary system can achieve the robust controller of the nonaffine system. Thirdly, an online adaptive dynamic programming(ADP) algorithm is designed for approximating the optimal solution of the Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman(HJB) equation. Moreover, the gradient descent approach and projection approach are employed for updating the actor-critic neural network(NN) weights, with the algorithm's convergence being proven. Then, the uniformly ultimately bounded stability of state is guaranteed. Finally, in simulation, some examples are offered for validating the effectiveness of this presented approach.展开更多

Input the fixed time-varying formation template to the leader and start executing, this process also needs to track the desired trajectory, and the follower needs to converge to the convex hull that the leader crosses. Firstly, the dynamic models of nonholonomic systems are linearized to second-order dynamics. Then, based on the desired trajectory and formation template, the FC control protocols are proposed. Sufficient conditions to achieve FC are introduced and an algorithm is proposed to resolve the control parameters by solving an algebraic Riccati equation. The system is demonstrated to achieve FC, with the average position and velocity of the leaders converging asymptotically to the desired trajectory. Finally, the theoretical achievements are verified in simulations by a multi-agent system composed of virtual human individuals.展开更多

After analyzing the working principle of the four-aspect fixed autoblock system, an energy-saving control model is created based on the dynamics equation of the Wains. In addition to safety, energy consumption and time error are the main concerns of the model. Based on this model, dynamic speed constraints of the following train are proposed, defined by the leading gain dynamically. At the same time, the static speed constraints defined by the line conditions are also taken into account. The parallel genetic algorithm is used to search the optimum operating strategy. In order to simplify the solving process, the external punishment function is adopted to transform this problem with constraints to the one without constraints. By using the real number coding and the strategy of dividing ramps into three parts, the convergence of GA is accelerated and the length of chromosomes is shortened. The simulation result from a four-aspect fixed autoblock system simulation platform shows that the method can reduce the energy consumption effectively in the premise of ensuring safety and punctuality.展开更多

However, these effects remain unclear and contradictory. AIM To determine the effects of machine-assisted and non-machine-assisted respiratory training on physical performance and QoL in heart failure patients. METHODS This was a systematic review and network meta-analysis study. A literature search of electronic databases was conducted for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on heart failure. Respiratory training interventions were grouped as seven categories: IMT_Pn (inspiratory muscle training without pressure or < 10% maximal inspiratory pressure, MIP), IMT_Pl (inspiratory muscle training with low pressure, 10%-15% MIP), IMT_Pm (inspiratory muscle training with medium pressure, 30%-40% MIP), IMT_Ph (inspiratory muscle training with high pressure, 60% MIP or MIP plus aerobics), Aerobics (aerobic exercise or weight training), Qi_Ex (tai chi, yoga, and breathing exercise), and none. The four outcomes were heart rate, peak oxygen uptake (VO2 peak), 6-min walking distance test (6MWT), and Minnesota Living with Heart Failure QoL. The random-effects model, side-splitting model, and the surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA) were used to test and analyze the data. RESULTS A total of 1499 subjects from 31 RCT studies were included. IMT_Ph had the highest effect sizes for VO2 peak and 6MWT, IMT_Pm highest for QoL, and Qi_Ex highest for heart rate. Aerobics had the second highest for VO2 peak, Qi_Ex second highest for 6MWT, and IMT_Ph second highest for heart rate and QoL.CONCLUSION This study supports that high- and medium-intensity machine-assisted training improves exercise capacity and QoL in hospital-based heart failure patients. After hospital discharge, non-machine-assisted training continuously improves cardiac function.展开更多

One of the most effective ways to reduce the negative effect of delays on the performance of networked control system (NCS) is to reduce network traffic. In this paper, adjustable deadbands are explored as a solution to reduce network traffic in NCS. A method of fault-tolerant control of networked control system is presented, which takes into account system response as well as network traffic. The integrity design for a kind of NCS with sensor failures and actuator failures is analyzed based on robust fault-tolerant control theory and information scheduling. After detailed theoretical analysis, the paper also provides the simulation results, which further validate the proposed scheme.展开更多

文摘To enhance power flow regulation in scenarios involving large-scale renewable energy transmission via high-voltage direct current(HVDC)links and multi-infeed DC systems in load-center regions, this paper proposes a hybrid modular multilevel converter–capacitor-commutated line-commutated converter(MMC-CLCC)HVDC transmission system and its corresponding control strategy.First, the system topology is constructed, and a submodule configuration method for the MMC—combining full-bridge submodules(FBSMs)and half-bridge submodules(HBSMs)—is proposed to enable direct power flow reversal.Second,a hierarchical control strategy is introduced, includingMMCvoltage control,CLCC current control, and a coordinationmechanism, along with the derivation of the hybrid system’s power flow reversal characteristics.Third, leveraging the CLCC’s fast current regulation and theMMC’s negative voltage control capability,a coordinated power flow reversal control strategy is developed. Finally,an 800 kV MMC-CLCC hybrid HVDC system is modeled in PSCAD/EMTDC to validate the power flow reversal performance under a high proportion of full-bridge submodule configuration. Results demonstrate that the proposed control strategy enables rapid(1-s transition)and smooth switching of bidirectional power flow without modifying the structure of primary equipment:the transient fluctuation ofDC voltage from the rated value(UdcN)to themaximumreverse voltage(-kUdcN)is less than 5%;the DC current strictly follows the preset characteristic curve with a deviation of≤3%;the active power reverses continuously, and the system maintains stable operation throughout the reversal process.

文摘With the development of cyber-physical systems, system security faces more risks from cyber-attacks.In this work,we study the problem that an external attacker implements covert sensor and actuator attacks with resource constraints(the total resource consumption of the attacks is not greater than a given initial resource of the attacker)to mislead a discrete event system under supervisory control to reach unsafe states. We consider that the attacker can implement two types of attacks:One by modifying the sensor readings observed by a supervisor and the other by enabling the actuator commands disabled by the supervisor. Each attack has its corresponding resource consumption and remains covert. To solve this problem,we first introduce a notion of combined-attackability to determine whether a closedloop system may reach an unsafe state after receiving attacks with resource constraints. We develop an algorithm to construct a corrupted supervisor under attacks, provide a verification method for combined-attackability in polynomial time based on a plant,a corrupted supervisor, and an attacker's initial resource, and propose a corresponding attack synthesis algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by an example.

文摘The paper develops a robust control approach for nonaffine nonlinear continuous systems with input constraints and unknown uncertainties. Finally, in simulation, some examples are offered for validating the effectiveness of this presented approach.
文摘This paper addresses the time-varying formation-containment(FC) problem for nonholonomic multi-agent systems with a desired trajectory constraint, where only the leaders can acquire information about the desired trajectory. Finally, the theoretical achievements are verified in simulations by a multi-agent system composed of virtual human individuals.

文摘Dear Editor,This letter investigates the problem of multi-dimension formation tracking(MDFT)for the cross-domain unmanned systems, including several interconnected agents, namely, unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)and unmanned surface vehicles(USVs).We assume that each agent suffers from by the mixed constraints on its velocity, control input and Euler angle.Solving the MDFT problem implies that 1)The virtual state of each USV is determined in the earth coordinate by expanding its 2D work space to the 3D space.
文摘To reduce the number of the level sets used in algorithm of constrained nonlinear systems via ellipsoidal techniques, according to the analysis of mathematics, searching algorithm is used for choosing the control input. Simulation shows that the number of level sets used for controlling is almost the same as that used in polytope techniques. Sub time optimal algorithm reduces the number of the level sets used in ellipsoidal techniques.

文摘This paper deals with both the leading train and the following train in a train tracking under a four-aspect fixed autoblock system in order to study the optimum operating strategy for energy saving. The simulation result from a four-aspect fixed autoblock system simulation platform shows that the method can reduce the energy consumption effectively in the premise of ensuring safety and punctuality.

文摘The new energy power generation is becoming increasingly important in the power system.Such as photovoltaic power generation has become a research hotspot, however, due to the characteristics of light radiation changes, photovoltaic power generation is unstable and random, resulting in a low utilization rate and directly affecting the stability of the power grid.To solve this problem, this paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for a newenergy power generation system with a hybrid energy storage unit based on the lithium iron phosphate-supercapacitor hybrid energy storage unit.Firstly, the variational mode decomposition algorithm is used to separate the high and low frequencies of the power signal, which is conducive to the rapid and accurate suppression of the power fluctuation of the energy storage system.Secondly, the fuzzy control algorithm is introduced to balance the power between energy storage. In this paper, the actual data is used for simulation, and the simulation results show that the strategy realizes the effective suppression of the bus voltage fluctuation and the accurate control of the internal state of the energy storage unit, effectively avoiding problems such as overshoot and over-discharge,and can significantly improve the stability of the photovoltaic power generation systemand the stability of the Direct Current bus.It is of great significance to promote the development of collaborative control technology for photovoltaic hybrid energy storage units.

文摘The risk of failure of the control loop can occur when a high-speed maglev train runs on viaduct.Meanwhile, the failure of the levitation magnets which balances the gravity of the maglev train could cause the train collision with track. To study the dynamic response of the train and the viaduct when the levitation magnet control loop failure occurs,a high-speed maglev train-viaduct coupling model, which includes a maglev controller fitted by measured force-gap data and considers the actual structure of train and viaduct,is established. Then the accuracy and effectiveness of the established approach are validated by comparing the computed dynamic responses and frequencies with the measurement results. After that, the dynamic responses of maglev train and viaduct are discussed under normal operation and control loop failures, and the most disadvantageous combination of control loop failures is obtained. The results show that when a single control loop fails,it only has a great influence on the failed electromagnet, and the maglev response of adjacent electromagnets has no obvious change and no collision occurs. But there is a risk of rail collisions when the dual control loop fails.

文摘Based on bounded network-induced time-delay, the networked control system is modeled as a linear time-variant singular system. Using the Lyapunov theory and the linear matrix inequality approach, the criteria for delay-independent stability and delay-dependent stability of singular networked control systems are derived and transformed to a feasibility problem of linear matrix inequality formulation, which can be solved by the Matlab LMI toolbox, and the feasible solutions provide the maximum allowable delay bound that makes the system stable. A numerical example is provided, which shows that the analysis method is valid and the stability criteria are feasible.
文摘BACKGROUND Prior studies indicate that doing breathing exercises improves physical performance and quality of life (QoL) in heart failure patients. After hospital discharge, non-machine-assisted training continuously improves cardiac function.

文摘Implementing a control system over a communication network induces inevitable time delays that may degrade performance and even cause instability. After detailed theoretical analysis, the paper also provides the simulation results, which further validate the proposed scheme.
文摘During traction and braking of multiple-unit trains, substantial longitudinal dynamic forces might occur in couplers due to the non-optimal distribution of traction and braking forces generated by self-propelled carriages. These dynamic forces might create shocks affecting the reduction of endurance of the weakest train structural components primarily. Thus, the overall operational safety of the train is also lowered. The purpose of the paper is to develop a new control system to supervise the activities related to the longitudinal dynamics of each train carriage in a multiple-unit train to reduce the longitudinal coupler forces acting during train traction and braking. The hierarchical structure of the control system consists of two levels. The first master level of control works like standard cruise control. However, the reduction of longitudinal coupler forces is achieved by applying a second level of slave control systems with a control configuration of feedback compensation.
