More recently,in China,some EFL teachers have produced textbooks with genre-based discourses as primary teaching units,which is different from those that use the traditional writing pedagogies based on either the proc...More recently,in China,some EFL teachers have produced textbooks with genre-based discourses as primary teaching units,which is different from those that use the traditional writing pedagogies based on either the process writing approach to on the Grammar Translation Method.On the basis of this previous point in relation to the research,therefore,the paper aims to analyze eight EFL student writing samples of TEM 4 that were written as part of class requirements in China that were produced by texttype or genre pedagogies,and to examine and interpret the language features and cohesive relations based on the theory of System⁃atic Functional Linguistics.This paper shows an analysis of logico-semantic and cohesive relations conducted from Chinese EFL students’writing samples in the real classroom to help college students have a well-organized pieces of writing based on different genres.展开更多
Density Functional Theory is one of themost widely used theoretical approaches for the calculation of properties of materials,but the systematic development of new functionals with controllable accuracy is an ongoing ...Density Functional Theory is one of themost widely used theoretical approaches for the calculation of properties of materials,but the systematic development of new functionals with controllable accuracy is an ongoing challenge.We propose to use perturbation theory around the homogeneous electron gas in a way that is optimized using physical insight,and to combine it with the recently developed connector approach in order to satisfy an exact limit.In this way,we develop an explicit non-local density functional for the Kohn-Sham exchange correlation potential.First results for the selfconsistently calculated charge density and potential for three prototype materials demonstrate which accuracy can be reached for the charge density,confirm the systematicity of the approach,and suggest directions for further improvement.展开更多
