In mining safety, the use of appropriate thick seam mining methods can effectively prevent thick seam mining accidents. But in the process of development and current situation from the perspective of the Chinese coal mining, there are certain aspects of thick seam mining problems. These problems are mainly in the thick seam mining and the coal recovery rate is low, resulting in lots of waste coal. Besides, thick coal mining is less secure, safe and there are frequent accidents. These problems have seriously affected the thick seam mining. The higher the buildings are, the deeper the foundation pit is during construction, because the construction of deep foundation pit may have a great impact on the surrounding environment and great potential safety hazards. In order to prevent the possible abnormal settlement of buildings, ground cracking and instability of foundation pit support system during foundation pit excavation. During the period of the covid-19 pandemic,educational activities in several countries around the world have experienced changes in their implementation.Face-to-face Chinese teaching in several Confucius Institutes ar...During the period of the covid-19 pandemic,educational activities in several countries around the world have experienced changes in their implementation.Face-to-face Chinese teaching in several Confucius Institutes around the world has been moved to online teaching to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus.In Burundi,online Chinese teaching is provided through the social network“WhatsApp.”However,students have some difficulty improving their speaking skills while learning online.This study,therefore,examined the strategies that can be used by the students and the teachers to ensure the improvement of students’speaking skills while learning Chinese online.It proceeded by a survey carried out among the students and the teachers of Burundi University Confucius Institute.Two questionnaires were used to question them,and ninety students and ten teachers were able to answer our questions.The findings revealed that online teaching is not very effective in improving Burundian students’oral skills.Speaking is the most difficult skill to improve when learning online.Most of the students have the problem of the lack of interaction with their teachers,the lack of high-speed internet,and the inefficiency of the platform used in learning Chinese online.Most of the teachers think that face-to-face teaching is more effective in improving students’oral skills compared to online teaching.Our study proposed then some strategies and suggestions that can be useful for improving the students’oral skills while learning Chinese online.展开更多
