One of the critical hurdles, and breakthroughs, in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the last two decades has been the development of techniques for text representation that solves the so-called curse ... One of the critical hurdles, and breakthroughs, in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the last two decades has been the development of techniques for text representation that solves the so-called curse of dimensionality, a problem which plagues NLP in general given that the feature set for learning starts as a function of the size of the language in question, upwards of hundreds of thousands of terms typically. As such, much of the research and development in NLP in the last two decades has been in finding and optimizing solutions to this problem, to feature selection in NLP effectively. This paper looks at the development of these various techniques, leveraging a variety of statistical methods which rest on linguistic theories that were advanced in the middle of the last century, namely the distributional hypothesis which suggests that words that are found in similar contexts generally have similar meanings. In this survey paper we look at the development of some of the most popular of these techniques from a mathematical as well as data structure perspective, from Latent Semantic Analysis to Vector Space Models to their more modern variants which are typically referred to as word embeddings. In this review of algoriths such as Word2Vec, GloVe, ELMo and BERT, we explore the idea of semantic spaces more generally beyond applicability to NLP. 展开更多

Statistics of order 2 (variance, auto and cross-correlation functions, auto and cross-power spectra) and 3 (skewness, auto and cross-bicorrelation functions, auto and cross-bispectra) are used to analyze the wave-particle interaction in space plasmas. The signals considered here are medium scale electron density irregularities and ELF/ULF electrostatic turbulence. Nonlinearities are mainly observed in the ELF range. They are independently pointed out in time series associated with fluctuations in electronic density and in time series associated with the measurement of one electric field component. Peaks in cross-bicorrelation function and in mutual information clearly show that, in well delimited frequency bands, the wave-particle interactions are nonlinear above a certain level of fluctuations. The way the energy is transferred within the frequencies of density fluctuations is indicated by a bi-spectra analysis. 展开更多

In non-homogeneous environment, traditional space-time adaptive processing doesn't effectively suppress interference and detect target, because the secondary data don' t exactly reflect the statistical characteristic of the range cell under test. A ravel methodology utilizing the direct data domain approach to space-time adaptive processing ( STAP ) in airbome radar non-homogeneous environments is presented. The deterministic least squares adaptive signal processing technique operates on a "snapshot-by-snapshot" basis to dethrone the adaptive adaptive weights for nulling interferences and estimating signal of interest (SOI). Furthermore, this approach eliminates the requirement for estimating the covariance through the data of neighboring range cell, which eliminates calculating the inverse of covariance, and can be implemented to operate in real-time. Simulation results illustrate the efficiency of interference suppression in non-homogeneous environment. 展开更多

This paper investigates State Space Model Predictive Control (SSMPC) of an aerothermic process. It is a pilot scale heating and ventilation system equipped with a heater grid and a centrifugal blower, fully connected through a data acquisition system for real time control. The interaction between the process variables is shown to be challenging for single variable controllers, therefore multi-variable control is worth considering. A multi-variable state space model is obtained from on-line experimental data. The controller design is translated into a Quadratic Programming (QP) problem, in which a cost function subject to actuators linear inequality constraints is minimized. The outcome of the experimental results is that the main control objectives, such as set-point tracking and perturbations rejection under actuators constraints, are well achieved for both controlled variables simultaneously. 展开更多

For the slowly changed environment-range-dependent non-homogeneity, a new statistical space-time adaptive processing algorithm is proposed, which uses the statistical methods, such as Bayes or likelihood criterion to estimate the approximative covariance matrix in the non-homogeneous condition. According to the statistical characteristics of the space-time snapshot data, via defining the aggregate snapshot data and corresponding events, the conditional probability of the space-time snapshot data which is the effective training data is given, then the weighting coefficients are obtained for the weighting method. The theory analysis indicates that the statistical methods of the Bayes and likelihood criterion for covariance matrix estimation are more reasonable than other methods that estimate the covariance matrix with the use of training data except the detected outliers. The last simulations attest that the proposed algorithms can estimate the covariance in the non-homogeneous condition exactly and have favorable characteristics. 展开更多

高比例可再生能源与高比例电力电子装备接入背景下,不确定性已成为电力系统发展的显著特征之一。为在电磁暂态时间尺度实现对多类型随机激励及相应系统动态过程的高效模拟,文中在分析随机电磁暂态模型基本特点与数值求解方法限制性的基... 高比例可再生能源与高比例电力电子装备接入背景下,不确定性已成为电力系统发展的显著特征之一。为在电磁暂态时间尺度实现对多类型随机激励及相应系统动态过程的高效模拟,文中在分析随机电磁暂态模型基本特点与数值求解方法限制性的基础上,引入仿真间隔概念,提出分段线性插值的伪Wiener过程构造方法和仿真间隔内参数随机迁移过程的ODE描述方式,实现Wiener过程大步长近似模拟和SDE低复杂度求解;其次,利用高阶收敛对仿真步长的松弛,设计采用Stratonovich型随机积分和间断Galerkin方法的大步长随机电磁暂态仿真算法;最后,以三相并网VSC电路与简单辐射状直流配电系统为测试对象,通过对比确定性和随机电磁暂态仿真轨迹、算法复杂度与仿真耗时,验证所提随机电磁暂态仿真算法在效率提升和精度保持方面的有效性。 展开更多

针对非均匀环境下独立同分布样本数严重不足,现有的极化空时自适应处理方法对风切变检测性能下降的问题,提出一种基于直接阵元-脉冲域对消的极化空时自适应处理风切变检测方法。首先,根据先验知识构造杂波基矩阵,并采用加权最小二乘准... 针对非均匀环境下独立同分布样本数严重不足,现有的极化空时自适应处理方法对风切变检测性能下降的问题,提出一种基于直接阵元-脉冲域对消的极化空时自适应处理风切变检测方法。首先,根据先验知识构造杂波基矩阵,并采用加权最小二乘准则迭代估计杂波源幅度,完成杂波数据的重构。其次,利用重构得到的杂波数据直接在阵元-脉冲域进行杂波对消。最后,将杂波抑制后的信号进行极化融合处理、风速估计及F因子的计算,以完成低空风切变的检测。仿真实验结果显示该方法与其他方法相比,在风速估计方面表现出更小的误差,估计结果与原始风速分布具有更高的一致性;同时,F因子的危险区域判决结果与真实F因子判决结果一致,证明所提方法可以有效实现非均匀环境下的极化风切变信号检测。 展开更多

基于群决策和层次分析法的城市绿地园林植物综合评价体系构建及应用——以成都市主城区为例

开展城市绿地植物评价,科学合理地选择园林植物,使其充分发挥生态、社会、景观等多种功能和效益,对于城市生态文明建设具有重要意义。如何选择更加全面的评价指标,构建城市绿地植物综合评价体系显得十分必要。提出了一套指标筛选、综合... 开展城市绿地植物评价,科学合理地选择园林植物,使其充分发挥生态、社会、景观等多种功能和效益,对于城市生态文明建设具有重要意义。如何选择更加全面的评价指标,构建城市绿地植物综合评价体系显得十分必要。提出了一套指标筛选、综合评价体系构建的方法,并以成都市主城5区的290种绿地园林植物(其中乔木116种,灌木(含藤本)88种,草本(含竹类)86种)为例进行了应用。研究结果如下:(1)在指标的选择上,首先通过文献查找、专家咨询,采用“头脑风暴法”初选了6个准则层(生物学特性、景观价值、生态功能、生态适应性、文化经济功能、造林管护成本)50个指标;然后邀请20名专家,采用德尔菲法对初选指标进行三轮筛选,最终选出35个指标,构建起城市绿地园林植物评价指标体系。(2)在综合评价模型的构建上,采用群决策和层次分析法相结合的方法。(1)邀请18名专家对6个准则层、35个指标的重要性分别进行打分,采用层次分析法构建判断矩阵,计算每个专家的个体权重;(2)将专家个体权重作为标准进行系统聚类,根据不同专家所在类别中的专家数量来计算权重系数。将个体权重与专家权重系数进行线性加权,计算得到评价对象的群体权重;(3)基于相关研究和专家咨询结果,对每个指标建立1~5分的等级评价标准。根据等级评价标准,通过查阅相关参考文献以及征求专家意见,获得各参评对象各指标的得分值,最后将群体权重和评价对象的得分值进行加权求和,得到评价对象的综合评价分。(3)对成都市主城5区的绿地园林植物评价结果为:乔木综合得分3.5以上的占比为52.59%,灌木(含藤本)综合得分3.0以上的占比为68.18%,草本(含竹类)综合得分2.8以上的占比为80.23%;5个主城区的加权综合评价得分70.46~71.04分,说明成都市的绿地园林植物应用处于中等偏上水平。研究成果可为城市绿地植物综合评价体系构建提供方法参考,也可为成都建设“公园城市示范区”进程中园林植物的选用和景观的营建提供科学依据和实践参考。 展开更多

目的探讨基于T2对比剂增强背景抑制三维可变翻转角快速自选回波序列(3D-SPACE)的增强扫描技术在诊断旁侧型腰椎间盘突出中的应用价值。方法回顾性分析34例旁侧型腰椎间盘突出患者的影像学和临床资料,按突出髓核组织与受累神经根的位置... 目的探讨基于T2对比剂增强背景抑制三维可变翻转角快速自选回波序列(3D-SPACE)的增强扫描技术在诊断旁侧型腰椎间盘突出中的应用价值。方法回顾性分析34例旁侧型腰椎间盘突出患者的影像学和临床资料,按突出髓核组织与受累神经根的位置关系分为肩型、腋型和根型,分析磁共振神经成像(MRN)所示不同水平各型椎间盘突出卡压神经根的情况。结果34例患者共获得36组数据,病变主要集中在L3~S1椎间盘水平。3D-SPACE增强扫描示肩型、腋型及根型突出分别为10处、11处和15处,36.1%的突出累及相应神经根,63.9%的突出累及下一椎体神经根。以临床手术和体征为金标准,MRN的敏感性为97.3%,特异性为100%,阳性预测率为100%,阴性预测率为83%;常规扫描敏感性为86.5%,特异性为20%,阳性预测率为89%,阴性预测率为17%。结论与常规扫描比较,MRN与临床结果一致性较高,且可对腰椎间盘突出卡压的神经根进行具体且全面的评估,对患者的治疗方案选择、术前评估、手术方案制定等具有重要的指导意义。 展开更多

乡村旅游在促进乡村经济发展的同时,也带来了生态环境失衡等问题,如何界定乡村旅游地“三生”(生活、生产和生态)空间内涵、厘清其演变过程和演化机理,成为当前亟待解决的关键问题。基于深度访谈、ArcGIS空间分析等方法,以南京市高淳区... 乡村旅游在促进乡村经济发展的同时,也带来了生态环境失衡等问题,如何界定乡村旅游地“三生”(生活、生产和生态)空间内涵、厘清其演变过程和演化机理,成为当前亟待解决的关键问题。基于深度访谈、ArcGIS空间分析等方法,以南京市高淳区为例,识别多期“三生”空间格局,界定其空间内涵,分析演变过程和演化机理。研究发现:(1)在内涵认知方面,用地功能发生转变,主要表现为生产空间景观化和休闲化、生活空间共享化和多功能化以及生态空间商品化和价值化,且土地空间功能复合化趋势愈发显著。(2)在演变过程方面,“三生”空间的演变整体呈现扩张态势和较强的复合化趋势,空间优化和集聚特征明显。(3)在演化机理方面,原有“三生”空间在旅游业扰动下,受政府行为、外部资金、市场需求、自然资源、居民行为和居民思想观念多重因素的共同作用,逐渐实现空间复合化和协同化发展。研究立足乡村旅游地这一微观视角,对“三生”空间内涵及演化机理进行探析,丰富“三生”空间相关研究内容,同时对政府厘清空间形态、优化空间建设与提高空间治理能力具有指导意义。 展开更多
