Carburizing process is widely considered as a practical chemical heat treatment technology. However, there are still many problems in the carburizing process. The effects of Sr addition and pressure increase on the microstructure and casting defects of a low-pressure die cast (LPDC) AISi7Mg0.3 alloy have been studied. Metallographic and image analysis techniques have been used to quantitatively examine the microstructural changes and the amount of porosity occurring at different Sr levels and pressure parameters. The results indicate that an increase in the filling pressure induces lower heat dissipation of the liquid close to the die/core surfaces, with the formation of slightly greater dendrite arms and coarser eutectic Si particles. On the other hand, the increase in the Sr level leads to finer microstructural scale and eutectic Si. The analysed variables, within the experimental conditions, do not affect the morphology of eutectic Si particles. Higher applied pressure and Sr content generate castings with lower amount of porosiW. However, as the filling pressure increases the flow of metal inside the die cavity is more turbulent, leading to the formation of oxide films and cold shots. In the analysed range of experimental conditions, the design of experiment methodology and the analysis of variance have been used to develop statistical models that accurately predict the average size of secondary dendrite arm spacing and the amount of porosity in the low-pressure die cast AISiTMg0.3 alloy. 展开更多

The isothermal local loading forming technology provides a feasible way to form Ti-alloy large-scale rib-web components in aerospace and aviation fields.However,the local loading process forming limit is restricted by forming defects in the transitional region.In this work,the feasibility of controlling forming defects and improving the process forming limit by adjusting die parameters is explored through finite element(FE) simulation.It is found that the common cavum and folding defects in the transitional region are significantly influenced by the fillet radii of left rib and middle rib,respectively.The cavum and folding defects can be effectively controlled by increasing the fillet radii of left rib and middle rib,respectively.The process forming limits considering forming defects in the transitional region are determined by the stepwise searching method under various die parameters.Moreover,the relationship between the process forming limit and die parameters is developed through the response surface methodology(RSM).The developed RSM models suggest that increasing the fillet radii of left and middle ribs is effective to improve the process forming limit during local loading forming of rib-web components.The results will provide technical basis for the design of die parameters and the reduction amount,which is of great importance to control forming defects and improve the process forming limit in local loading forming of Ti-alloy large-scale rib-web components. 展开更多

The groove defect formed in the friction stir welding dramatically deteriorates weld appearances and mechanical properties of the joints owing to its larger size and penetration. Therefore, the friction stir repair welding was utilized to remove such a groove defect, and the focus was placed on the mechanical properties and microstructural characteristics of the repair joints so as to obtain an optimum repair welding process. The experimental results indicate that the groove defect can be removed by friction stir repair welding, and the offset repair welding process is superior to the symmetrical repair welding process. In the symmetrical repair welding process, a large number of fine cavity defects and an obvious aggregation of hard-brittle phase Al2Cu occur, accordingly the mechanical properties of the repair joint are weakened, and the fracture feature of repair joint is partially brittle and partially plastic. A good-quality repair joint can be obtained by the offset repair welding process, and the repair joint is fractured near the interface between the weld nugget zone and thermal-mechanically affected zone. 展开更多

Researches on the processing method of ceramic bearing ball,the formation and propagation of defects in the manufacturing and the nondestructive evaluation(NDE) are summarized in this paper.The key for successful processing of high strength ceramic balls is to avoid producing related defects.Many investigations show that the material microstructures,defects as well as mechanical processing parameters influence the final surface quality significantly.Most of NDE technologies,such as radiation,ultrasonic,dye-penetration and laser scatter,have been studied for ceramic bearing ball surface inspection around the world.So far,the difficulties to develop the perfect NDE system for ceramic bearing balls,which are caused by the defect variety and surface unfolding,have not been overcome yet. 展开更多

The main types of defect in the (Tb_(0.3)Dy_(0.7))Fe_(1.95) alloys with the 'one-step' directional solidification process were investigated. The effect of the dendrite, grain boundaries, twin boundaries, and REFe_3 precipitates on the magnetostrictive response of the (Tb_(0.3)Dy_(0.7))Fe_(1.95) alloys was analyzed respectively. The experiment results demonstrate that the dendrite, twin boundaries, and REFe_3 precipitates can be avoided by modifying alloying ingredient, solidification parameters and annealing technique. The dendritic growth front often leads to dendrite sheet, rare earth-rich phase, and twin boundaries. The lower proportion of rare earth, or slow solidification rate, results in the occurrence of REFe_3 precipitatates. It is vital for diminishing the defects to control the undercooling of solid-liquid interface at (2.4~5.1)×10~4 K·s·cm^(-2) so that the crystal grows in cellular growth front. 展开更多

In this system, the hopping probability p (p 〈 1) and the size d of particles are not constant, Through theoretical calculation and computer simulation, it obtains the exact theoretical results and finds that the theoretical results are in agreement with the computer simulation. 采用激光粉末床熔融(laser powder bed fusion,LPBF)技术制备K418B高温合金,利用光学显微镜、扫描电镜和硬度仪分析工艺参数激光功率(140~220 W)和扫描速度(600~1400 mm/s)对显微缺陷、致密度、微观组织及硬度的影响。结果表明,激光功... 采用激光粉末床熔融(laser powder bed fusion,LPBF)技术制备K418B高温合金,利用光学显微镜、扫描电镜和硬度仪分析工艺参数激光功率(140~220 W)和扫描速度(600~1400 mm/s)对显微缺陷、致密度、微观组织及硬度的影响。结果表明,激光功率和扫描速度均显著影响样品的相对密度与缺陷分布。低能量密度易产生不规则孔洞,高能量密度则易形成球形气孔与凝固裂纹;体积能量密度(volume energy density,VED)过低或过高都会降低致密度和性能。最佳工艺参数为激光功率180 W、扫描速度1400 mm/s,在该条件下样品致密度可达99.95%以上,表面缺陷少,仅有少量凝固裂纹,显微组织呈明显熔池边界和胞状结构,维氏硬度达366.8HV_(0.2)。微观组织观察显示,熔池边界处晶粒较粗大,内部可见细胞状柱状晶,局部连续跨越多个熔池,表现出快速凝固特征。硬度随VED先升后降,与孔隙含量及致密度变化一致。研究揭示热应力是裂纹产生的主要原因,为K418B合金LPBF成形的参数优化提供依据,对提升航空发动机关键部件制造质量具有工程应用价值。 展开更多

由于输变配系统的复杂结构和特性,其缺陷表现形式多样且难以捉摸,导致在进行缺陷识别时mAP值较低。为解决上述问题,提出基于长短期记忆网络的输变配缺陷智能识别方法。利用无人机巡检技术、高精度图像采集设备及GPS接收器对输变配线路... 由于输变配系统的复杂结构和特性,其缺陷表现形式多样且难以捉摸,导致在进行缺陷识别时mAP值较低。为解决上述问题,提出基于长短期记忆网络的输变配缺陷智能识别方法。利用无人机巡检技术、高精度图像采集设备及GPS接收器对输变配线路图像进行采集。通过灰度校正、HSI颜色模型转换及Gamma校正等技术对采集的图像进行精细化处理。构建基于长短期记忆网络的缺陷识别模型,利用大量标记缺陷样本进行训练。将待检测图像输入训练完成的模型中,模型实时输出缺陷分类,实现输变配线路缺陷的智能快速识别。实验结果表明,该文提出的基于LSTM的缺陷识别方法,在mAP指标上平均提升了约8.75%~13.75%,显著提高了缺陷识别的精度。 展开更多

碳化硅肖特基器件性能受氧化退火工艺参数不当与界面缺陷难以有效控制等因素制约。基于此,本研究提出基于多因素协同调控与缺陷精准抑制的氧化退火技术优化方案,通过设计多组对比实验和正交实验,系统探究退火气氛组成、温度及时间等参... 碳化硅肖特基器件性能受氧化退火工艺参数不当与界面缺陷难以有效控制等因素制约。基于此,本研究提出基于多因素协同调控与缺陷精准抑制的氧化退火技术优化方案,通过设计多组对比实验和正交实验,系统探究退火气氛组成、温度及时间等参数对器件性能的影响规律,并采用离子注入和动态气氛控制技术优化界面质量。同时,通过多种表征手段综合分析器件性能。结果表明:优化后的氧化退火工艺使器件正向导通电压降低27.0%、反向漏电流减少81.3%、肖特基势垒高度提升15.9%、表面粗糙度下降42.2%,碳化硅肖特基器件的综合性能得到有效提升,该研究结果可为其大规模工业化生产提供可靠的技术支持。 展开更多

There are many flaws in welding images such as noise, low contrast, and blurred edges, which affect feature extraction from welding defect regions and impede classification and recognition of welding defects. To deal with the complexity of welding defect images, this paper proposes an effective method for extracting the features of welding defect regions. Firstly, image preprocessing, image segmentation and image background removal are carried out to a welding image in order to extract welding defect region; and then an 8-connected-component labeling method is used to mark defect regions. Finally, it extracts geometric characteristic parameters including perimeter, area, circularity and others. The experimental result shows that the method proposed in the paper can accurately extract the features of welding defect regions. It has good adaptability and practicability. 展开更多

The lateral wave in ultrasonic TOFD (time of flight diffraction) image has a tail in transit time, which disturbs the detection and evaluation of shallow weld defect. Meanwhile, the lateral wave and back-wall echo that act as background add redundant data in digital image processing. In order to separate defect wave from lateral wave and prepare the way for following image processing, an algorithm of background removal method named as mean-subtraction is developed. Based on this, an improved method by statistic of the energy distribution in the image is proposed. The results show that by choosing proper threshold value according to the axial energy distribution of the image, the background can be removed automatically and the defect section becomes predominant. Meanwhile, diffractive wave of shallow weld defect can be separated from lateral wave effectively. 展开更多

The primary bottleneck to extracting wood defects during ultrasonic testing is the accuracy of identifying the wood defects. The wavelet energy moment was used to extract defect features of artificial wood holes drilled into 120 elm samples that differed in the number of holes to verify the validity of the method. Wavelet energy moment can reflect the distribution of energy along the time axis and the amount of energy in each frequency band,which can effectively extract the energy distribution characteristics of signals in each frequency band; therefore,wavelet energy moment can replace the wavelet frequency band energy and constitute wood defect feature vectors. A principal component analysis was used to normalize and reduce the dimension of the feature vectors. A total of 16 principal component features were then obtained, which can effectively extract the defect features of the different number of holes in the elm samples. 展开更多

In the industrial production of expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU) midsoles, the surface defects still rely on manual inspection at present, and the eligibility criteria are uneven. Therefore, this paper proposes an E-TPU midsole surface defect detection method based on machine vision to achieve automatic detection and defect classification. The proposed method is divided into three parts: image preprocessing, block defect detection, and linear defect detection. Image preprocessing uses RGB three channel self-inspection to identify scorch and color pollution. Block defect detection uses superpixel segmentation and background prior mining to determine holes, impurities, and dirt. Linear defect detection uses Gabor filter and Hough transform to detect indentation and convex marks. After image preprocessing, block defect detection and linear defect detection are simultaneously performed by parallel computing. The false positive rate (FPR) of the proposed method in this paper is 8.3%, the false negatives rate (FNR) of the hole is 4.7%, the FNR of indentation is 2.1%, and the running time does not exceed 1.6 s. The test results show that this method can quickly and accurately detect various defects in the E-TPU midsole. 展开更多

本文针对因零件表面缺陷类型多样、尺度变化及形状不一而导致的数据集构建不准确,模型训练时间过长及特征提取精度低等问题,提出一种基于混合先验分析的表面缺陷检测方法。首先通过揭示零件表面缺陷先验分布特性,根据特性利用均方根滤... 本文针对因零件表面缺陷类型多样、尺度变化及形状不一而导致的数据集构建不准确,模型训练时间过长及特征提取精度低等问题,提出一种基于混合先验分析的表面缺陷检测方法。首先通过揭示零件表面缺陷先验分布特性,根据特性利用均方根滤波增强模型对输入缺陷图像数据在去除噪声的同时增强弱对比度特征,提升数据集准确性的同时缩短模型计算时间;其次结合深度学习YOLOv5模型,对不同类型、尺度及形状的缺陷特征开展混合先验分析,提升缺陷特征提取精度,进而提升缺陷检测准确率;最后进行零件表面缺陷检测仿真实验,实验结果表明,所提方法能够完成对包含不同先验信息的表面缺陷识别、定位及分类,检测平均置信度达到79%以上,验证所提方法检测表面缺陷性能的可行性。 展开更多
