Objectives:In recent years,mental health has emerged as a pressing public health concern in China,driven by mounting societal pressures and fast-paced urban lifestyles.Physical activity,a well-established means of enh...Objectives:In recent years,mental health has emerged as a pressing public health concern in China,driven by mounting societal pressures and fast-paced urban lifestyles.Physical activity,a well-established means of enhancing psychological well-being,has received growing scholarly and policy attention.This study uses panel data from the 2020 and 2022 waves of the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)to examine the impact of exercise frequency on mental health(with indicators such as CESD-8 depression scores)among college students and young employees,thereby providing empirical support for targeted mental health interventions.Methods:This study examines the relationship between individual exercise frequency and mental health among college students and young employees,using panel data from the 2020 and 2022 waves of the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS),with the Chinese version of the 8-item Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CESD-8)depression scores,self-rated health,and life satisfaction as outcome variables.Specifically,this study tests three hypotheses:(H1)increased exercise frequency significantly reduces depression symptoms and enhances well-being;(H2)the effects of exercise vary by social roles,with stronger mental health benefits among employed individuals and those with lower education;and(H3)lifestyle factors such as smoking amount,sleep duration,and Body Mass Index(BMI)partially mediate the relationship between exercise and mental health.Employing a two-way fixed effects model,baseline results indicate that a one-unit increase in exercise frequency significantly reduces the CESD-8 score by 0.183 points.To address potential endogeneity and spurious regression concerns,an instrumental variable(IV)approach is further applied.The heterogeneity analysis differentiates between students and employed individuals.Results:Among students,the effects of exercise on mental health are not statistically significant,regardless of education level.In contrast,for the employed,exercise demonstrates a significant positive impact on mental health,with particularly pronounced effects among those with lower educational attainment.These findings underscore the importance of promoting exercise as part of comprehensive mental health strategies.Mediation analysis indicates that the beneficial effect of exercise on mental health is partially transmitted through reductions in adverse health behaviors,especially smoking.Conclusions:Policymakers should integrate physical activity promotion into health interventions,prioritizing vulnerable groups to enhance psychological resilience and foster inclusive,health-oriented development.展开更多
This study provides a new experimental framework to measure the static and dynamic electrical parameters for a solar panel of multiple cells.The study evaluates its static parameters,including its resultant diodes’sa...This study provides a new experimental framework to measure the static and dynamic electrical parameters for a solar panel of multiple cells.The study evaluates its static parameters,including its resultant diodes’saturation currents,diodes’ideality factors,series,and shunt resistances.Such parameters are essential to characterise the steady-state performance of a solar panel.Additionally,the dynamic parameters as the equivalent junction and diffusion capacitances are also experimentally measured.These parameters impact the performance of the panel at variable solar irradiance,temperature,and load conditions.A solar panel of 36 series-connected cells has been utilised in this research to undertake this experimental evaluation.This work addresses a gap in the recent literature regarding a full evaluation of the internal electrical parameters in a whole solar panel of multiple cells.Firstly,a dark experimental environment has been developed so that no influence from external light sources can affect the measurements being taken.The panel is then stimulated with different types of electrical stresses in various circuit configurations to measure the required static and dynamic parameters.For the solar panel under study,the series and shunt resistances per cell have been evaluated to be 18.91 mΩand 5.6 kΩ,respectively,while the junction and diffusion capacitances have shown direct and inverse relationships,respectively,with the applied voltage as expected.The outcomes of these experimental setups highlighted the importance of the developed comprehensive framework in this research to be employed to assess the quality of the solar panel and its real-time performance at variable operational conditions.展开更多

Co-integration test showed that 1% increase in export value and import value of services created respectively 0.205% and 0.068 7% more job opportunities in the service sector. Both export and import of services impacted positively on employment in service industry, and export did more than import. However, in the short run, the impacts of services export and import on employment in service industry were both very small, though positive; and the impacts of employment in service industry on both export and import of services were very big, but not stable. Granger causality test indicated that employment in service industry was a Granger cause of services export. The findings highlight the importance of facilitating services import and reducing import barriers, and suggest that the competitiveness of China's labor- intensive services trade can be exploited to boost services export and help employment in service sector, and that the structure of services trade should be optimized by shifting from labor-intensive to knowledge-and technology-intensive services thus to enhance China's competitiveness of services export.展开更多

One of these series is used to predict others since these parameters are interlinked. If these series were stationary, we used correlation analysis. However, it is seen that maximum of these time series are nonstationary. In this case, co-integration method is used that is extracted from econometrics and forecast is possible. We have applied this methodology to study time series of reservoir water levels of this region and we find them to be co-integrated. Therefore, forecast of water levels for one of the reservoir is done from the other as these will never drift apart too much. The outcomes demonstrate that a joint modelling of both data sets based on underlying physics resolves to be sparingly useful for understanding predictability issues in reservoir induced seismicity.展开更多

The concept of non-Hermitian mechanics introduces new dimensions to metamaterial research,yet current studies have primarily focused on wave manipulation,neglecting the vibration transmittance characteristics of finit...The concept of non-Hermitian mechanics introduces new dimensions to metamaterial research,yet current studies have primarily focused on wave manipulation,neglecting the vibration transmittance characteristics of finite-size metamaterials with boundary reflections.This paper explores the asymmetric vibration transmittance characteristics of a simply supported NonHermitian Metamaterial Panel(NHMP)with two lossy resonators,under the impact of supersonic aerodynamic forces.By examining the non-Hermiticity of a non-aerodynamically loaded NHMP and a host panel aeroelastic system separately,we demonstrate that the NHMP subjected to supersonic aerodynamic force is a complex non-Hermitian system,exhibiting asymmetric vibration transmittance driven by both the fluid-structure interaction effect and lossy resonators.We theoretically and numerically clarify that an ideal aeroelastic system,such as a host panel aeroelastic system,functions as a non-Hermitian mechanical system due to the fluid-structure interaction effect,with the critical flutter point aligning with the Exceptional Point(EP).The results of this study indicate that at low dynamic pressures,the lossy resonators primarily govern asymmetric vibration transmittance,whereas at high dynamic pressures,the fluid-structure interaction effect becomes the dominant factor.Notably,at the EP,asymmetric vibration transmittance is unaffected by the mass ratio of lossy resonators,which is attributed to the invariance of the operational deflection shapes of the NHMP at the EP.This study offers a novel perspective on panel aeroelastic systems and nonHermitian metamaterials,advancing the field through its comprehensive analyses.展开更多

Lysosomal dysfunction has been implicated in the progression of colon adenocarcinoma(COAD),yet the prognostic significance and therapeutic potential of lysosome-related genes(LRGs)remain underexplored.In this study,we...Lysosomal dysfunction has been implicated in the progression of colon adenocarcinoma(COAD),yet the prognostic significance and therapeutic potential of lysosome-related genes(LRGs)remain underexplored.In this study,we construct a 6-LRG-based prognostic risk stratification model(DPP7,ADAM8,CD1B,LRP2,ATP6V1C2,and PLAAT3)by integrating LASSO and Cox regression analyses.Stratifying patients based on median risk scores,we demonstrate that high-risk patients exhibit significantly worse clinical outcomes across the TCGA cohort and five independent GEO datasets.Furthermore,this panel outperforms 136 previously published models in terms of predictive accuracy for 1-,3-,and 5-year survival rates.Validation multiplex immunofluorescence using an in-house tissue microarray cohort confirms that the 6-LRG signature serves as an independent prognostic factor.Additionally,high-risk patients exhibit distinct immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and aggressive malignancy characteristics.Functional depletion of DPP7 significantly inhibits tumor cell proliferation,migration,and metastasis in both in vitro and in vivo settings.Moreover,DPP7 silencing attenuates epithelialemesenchymal transition,as evidenced by the upregulation of E-cadherin and downregulation of N-cadherin,Vimentin,and Snail.In conclusion,this study establishes an LRG-based model for COAD prognostic prediction and nominates DPP7 as a promising therapeutic target for COAD treatment.展开更多
To address the limitations of traditional finite element methods,particularly the continuum assumption and difficulties in tracking the solid-liquid interface,this study introduces a lattice Boltzmann-based mathematic...To address the limitations of traditional finite element methods,particularly the continuum assumption and difficulties in tracking the solid-liquid interface,this study introduces a lattice Boltzmann-based mathematical and physical model to simulate flow and heat transfer in the laser welding molten pool of tin-coated copper used in solar panel busbars(a thin strip or wire of conductive metal embedded on the surface of a solar cell to collect and conduct the electricity generated by the photovoltaic cell).The model incorporates key external forces,including surface tension,solid-liquid interface tension,and recoil pressure.A moving and rotating Gaussian-body heat source is adopted,with temperature treated as an implicit function of enthalpy.Coupled iterative schemes for the temperature and velocity fields are constructed using a dual-distribution function approach with a D3Q15 lattice structure.The model is implemented in Python,utilizing libraries such as NumPy,SciPy,Mayavi,and Matplotlib for computation and visualization.Simulation results reveal that the heat transfer mechanism in the molten pool transitions from pure conduction to conduction-convection due to surface tension effects,leading to the formation of multiple counter-rotating vortex structures.The peak temperature at the pool center reaches 3200 K,with maximum melt depth and width measured at 0.5 and 1.2 mm,respectively.Over time,both penetration depth and melt width increase,though the width exhibits a more pronounced growth.Comparison with experimental thermal cycling data from laser weld joints shows strong agreement,with a maximum error of less than 1%,validating the accuracy of the proposed method.展开更多
This study introduces a novel approach for coupled aeroelastic analysis of panel subjected to supersonic airflow,utilizing Add-On Acoustic Black Hole(AABH)to mitigate panel flutter.Employing Galerkin's method to d...This study introduces a novel approach for coupled aeroelastic analysis of panel subjected to supersonic airflow,utilizing Add-On Acoustic Black Hole(AABH)to mitigate panel flutter.Employing Galerkin's method to discretize aeroelastic equation of panel and leveraging finite element method to derive a reduced discrete model of AABH,this study effectively couples two substructures via interface displacement.Investigation into the interactive force highlights the modal effective mass,frequency discrepancy between oscillation and AABH mode,and modal damping ratio as critical factors influencing individual AABH mode in flutter suppression.The selection of effective AABH modes,closely linked to these factors,directly influences the accuracy of simulations.The results reveal that AABH notably enhances the panel's critical flutter boundary by14.6%,a significant improvement over the 3.6%increase afforded by equivalent mass.Furthermore,AABH outperforms both the tuned mass damper and nonlinear energy sink in flutter suppression efficacy.By adjusting the AABH's geometrical parameters to increase the accumulative modal effective mass within the pertinent frequency range,or choosing a suitable installation position for AABH,its performance in flutter suppression is further optimized.These findings not only underscore the AABH's potential in enhancing aeroelastic stability but also provide a foundation for its optimal design.展开更多

文摘In accordance with the economic data from Statistical Communique on National Economy and Social Development in Hubei Province in the period 1980-2009,we use co-integration analysis method to research the impact of GDP growth on residents'consumer spending.Result shows that although there are differences between GDP and residents'consumer spending in the short term,the equilibrium relationship exists between them,namely,the co-integration relationship,showing consistency in trends.
文摘Koyna region, a seismically active region, has many time series observations such as seismicity, reservoir water levels, and many bore well water levels. One of these series is used to predict others since these parameters are interlinked. If these series were stationary, we used correlation analysis. However, it is seen that maximum of these time series are nonstationary. In this case, co-integration method is used that is extracted from econometrics and forecast is possible. We have applied this methodology to study time series of reservoir water levels of this region and we find them to be co-integrated. Therefore, forecast of water levels for one of the reservoir is done from the other as these will never drift apart too much. The outcomes demonstrate that a joint modelling of both data sets based on underlying physics resolves to be sparingly useful for understanding predictability issues in reservoir induced seismicity.

文摘By applying co-integration analysis,the Granger causality test and an error correction model,the dependency between the energy consumption and the gross domestic product of China was examined.In a further step an analysis was done to establish a correlation between the economic growth of different industries and China's energy consumption.An evidence-based study showed that a co-integration relationship exists between the gross energy consumption and the GDP of China and that the two variables possess bi-directional causality.The energy consumption for the secondary industry has a markedly stimulative effect to the economic growth.This paper also uses an error correction model(ECM)to explain the short-term behavior of energy demands.
文摘In recent years,there has been a growing global demand for carbon neutrality and energy efficiency,which are expected to become long-term trends.In the field of architecture,an effective approach to achieve this is to reduce heat loss in buildings.Vacuum insulation panels(VIPs),a type of high-performance insulation material,have been increasingly utilised in the construction industry and have played an increa-singly important role as their performance and manufacturing processes continue to improve.This paper provides a review of the factors affecting the thermal conductivity of VIPs and presents a detailed overview of the research progress on core materials,barrier films,and getters.The current research status of VIPs is summarised,including their thermal conductivity,service life,and thermal bridging effects,as well as their applications in the field of architecture.This review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding for relevant practitioners on the factors influencing the thermal conductivity of VIPs,and based on which,measures can be taken to produce VIPs with lower thermal conductivity and longer service life.

文摘Objective To study the possible relationship between the output of new products in China’s pharmaceutical industry and the investment in research and development(R&D),and to provide a theoretical basis for the decision-making of relevant enterprises and institutions.Methods The econometric software Stata 14 was used to perform unit root test on the relevant data.Then,a co-integration regression equation was established after stabilization,which was analyzed through co-integration test(E-G two-step method).Results and Conclusion There is a long-term equilibrium and short-term error correction relationship between the output of new products and the investment of R&D funds in China’s pharmaceutical industry.During the lagging periods from 1 to 6,R&D investment is the Granger reason for the output of new products.The investment of R&D funds has a positive effect on the output of new products and the effect is significant.Therefore,more investment should be made in R&D to enhance the output of new products.

文摘The concept of non-Hermitian mechanics introduces new dimensions to metamaterial research,yet current studies have primarily focused on wave manipulation,neglecting the vibration transmittance characteristics of finite-size metamaterials with boundary reflections.This paper explores the asymmetric vibration transmittance characteristics of a simply supported NonHermitian Metamaterial Panel(NHMP)with two lossy resonators,under the impact of supersonic aerodynamic forces.By examining the non-Hermiticity of a non-aerodynamically loaded NHMP and a host panel aeroelastic system separately,we demonstrate that the NHMP subjected to supersonic aerodynamic force is a complex non-Hermitian system,exhibiting asymmetric vibration transmittance driven by both the fluid-structure interaction effect and lossy resonators.We theoretically and numerically clarify that an ideal aeroelastic system,such as a host panel aeroelastic system,functions as a non-Hermitian mechanical system due to the fluid-structure interaction effect,with the critical flutter point aligning with the Exceptional Point(EP).The results of this study indicate that at low dynamic pressures,the lossy resonators primarily govern asymmetric vibration transmittance,whereas at high dynamic pressures,the fluid-structure interaction effect becomes the dominant factor.Notably,at the EP,asymmetric vibration transmittance is unaffected by the mass ratio of lossy resonators,which is attributed to the invariance of the operational deflection shapes of the NHMP at the EP.This study offers a novel perspective on panel aeroelastic systems and nonHermitian metamaterials,advancing the field through its comprehensive analyses.

文摘Objective To study the causal relationship between R&D investment and enterprise performance of domestic pharmaceutical enterprises.Methods Panel data model was adopted for empirical analysis.Results and Conclusion Increasing the R&D investment intensity of pharmaceutical enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta and Zhejiang by 1%will increase their profit margins by 0.79%and 0.46%.On the contrary,if the profit margin increases by 1%,the R&D investment intensity will increase by 0.25%and 0.19%.If the profit margin of pharmaceutical enterprises in Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei,Chengdu,Chongqing and other regions increases by 1%,the R&D investment intensity will increase by 0.14%,0.07%and 0.1%,respectively,which are lower than those in the Yangtze River Delta and Zhejiang.The relationship between R&D investment and enterprise performance of pharmaceutical enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta and Zhejiang Province is Granger causality,showing a two-way positive effect.Profits and R&D investment of pharmaceutical enterprises in Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei,Chengdu,Chongqing and other regions are also Granger causality.But in the Pearl River Delta,profits and R&D investment have not passed the stability test,it is impossible to determine the causality between them.

文摘Lysosomal dysfunction has been implicated in the progression of colon adenocarcinoma(COAD),yet the prognostic significance and therapeutic potential of lysosome-related genes(LRGs)remain underexplored.In this study,we construct a 6-LRG-based prognostic risk stratification model(DPP7,ADAM8,CD1B,LRP2,ATP6V1C2,and PLAAT3)by integrating LASSO and Cox regression analyses.Stratifying patients based on median risk scores,we demonstrate that high-risk patients exhibit significantly worse clinical outcomes across the TCGA cohort and five independent GEO datasets.Furthermore,this panel outperforms 136 previously published models in terms of predictive accuracy for 1-,3-,and 5-year survival rates.Validation multiplex immunofluorescence using an in-house tissue microarray cohort confirms that the 6-LRG signature serves as an independent prognostic factor.Additionally,high-risk patients exhibit distinct immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and aggressive malignancy characteristics.Functional depletion of DPP7 significantly inhibits tumor cell proliferation,migration,and metastasis in both in vitro and in vivo settings.Moreover,DPP7 silencing attenuates epithelialemesenchymal transition,as evidenced by the upregulation of E-cadherin and downregulation of N-cadherin,Vimentin,and Snail.In conclusion,this study establishes an LRG-based model for COAD prognostic prediction and nominates DPP7 as a promising therapeutic target for COAD treatment.

文摘To address the limitations of traditional finite element methods,particularly the continuum assumption and difficulties in tracking the solid-liquid interface,this study introduces a lattice Boltzmann-based mathematical and physical model to simulate flow and heat transfer in the laser welding molten pool of tin-coated copper used in solar panel busbars(a thin strip or wire of conductive metal embedded on the surface of a solar cell to collect and conduct the electricity generated by the photovoltaic cell).The model incorporates key external forces,including surface tension,solid-liquid interface tension,and recoil pressure.A moving and rotating Gaussian-body heat source is adopted,with temperature treated as an implicit function of enthalpy.Coupled iterative schemes for the temperature and velocity fields are constructed using a dual-distribution function approach with a D3Q15 lattice structure.The model is implemented in Python,utilizing libraries such as NumPy,SciPy,Mayavi,and Matplotlib for computation and visualization.Simulation results reveal that the heat transfer mechanism in the molten pool transitions from pure conduction to conduction-convection due to surface tension effects,leading to the formation of multiple counter-rotating vortex structures.The peak temperature at the pool center reaches 3200 K,with maximum melt depth and width measured at 0.5 and 1.2 mm,respectively.Over time,both penetration depth and melt width increase,though the width exhibits a more pronounced growth.Comparison with experimental thermal cycling data from laser weld joints shows strong agreement,with a maximum error of less than 1%,validating the accuracy of the proposed method.

文摘This study introduces a novel approach for coupled aeroelastic analysis of panel subjected to supersonic airflow,utilizing Add-On Acoustic Black Hole(AABH)to mitigate panel flutter.Employing Galerkin's method to discretize aeroelastic equation of panel and leveraging finite element method to derive a reduced discrete model of AABH,this study effectively couples two substructures via interface displacement.Investigation into the interactive force highlights the modal effective mass,frequency discrepancy between oscillation and AABH mode,and modal damping ratio as critical factors influencing individual AABH mode in flutter suppression.The selection of effective AABH modes,closely linked to these factors,directly influences the accuracy of simulations.The results reveal that AABH notably enhances the panel's critical flutter boundary by14.6%,a significant improvement over the 3.6%increase afforded by equivalent mass.Furthermore,AABH outperforms both the tuned mass damper and nonlinear energy sink in flutter suppression efficacy.By adjusting the AABH's geometrical parameters to increase the accumulative modal effective mass within the pertinent frequency range,or choosing a suitable installation position for AABH,its performance in flutter suppression is further optimized.These findings not only underscore the AABH's potential in enhancing aeroelastic stability but also provide a foundation for its optimal design.
