Three-dimensionally ordered macro-porous (3DOM) TiO2 and ceria-modified 3DOM TiO2 supported platinum catalysts were prepared with template and impregnation methods, and the resultant samples were characterized by sc...Three-dimensionally ordered macro-porous (3DOM) TiO2 and ceria-modified 3DOM TiO2 supported platinum catalysts were prepared with template and impregnation methods, and the resultant samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffractometer(XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM) and temperature programmed reducfion(TPR) techniques. The catalytic performances over the platinum-based catalysts were investigated for water-gas shift (WGS) reaction in a wide temperature range (180-360 ℃). The results showed that 3DOM Pt/TiO2 catalyst exhibited obviously better catalytic performance than the corresponding non macro-porous catalyst, owing to the macro-porous structure favoring mass transfer. Addition of celia into 3DOM Pt/TiO2 led to improvement of catalytic activity. TPR and HRTEM results showed that the interaction existed between ceria and titanium oxide and addition of ceria promoted the reducibility of platinum oxide and TiO2 on the interface of platinum and TiO2 particles, which contributed to high activity of the celia modified catalysts. The results indicated that ceria-modified 3DOM Pt/TiO2 was a promising candidate of fuel cell oriented WGS catalyst.展开更多
A series of catalysts consisting of three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous(3DOM)x‐CeO2/Al2O3‐supported Au nanoparticles(x=2,10,20,and40wt%)were successfully synthesized using a reduction‐deposition method.These c...A series of catalysts consisting of three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous(3DOM)x‐CeO2/Al2O3‐supported Au nanoparticles(x=2,10,20,and40wt%)were successfully synthesized using a reduction‐deposition method.These catalysts were characterized using scanning electron microscopy,the Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller method,X‐ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,ultraviolet‐visible spectroscopy,and temperature‐programmed reduction by H2.Au nanoparticles of mean particle size5nm were well dispersed and supported on the inner walls of uniform macropores.The3DOM structure improved the contact efficiency between soot and the catalyst.An Al‐Ce‐O solid solution was formed in the multilayer support,i.e.,x‐CeO2/Al2O3,by the incorporation of Al3+ions into the CeO2lattice,which resulted in the creation of extrinsic oxygen vacancies.Strong interactions between the metal(Au)and the support(Ce)increased the amount of active oxygen species,and this promoted soot oxidation.The catalytic performance in soot combustion was evaluated using a temperature‐programmed oxidation technique.The presence of CeO2nanolayers in the3DOM Au/x‐CeO2/Al2O3catalysts clearly improved the catalytic activities in soot oxidation.Among the prepared catalysts,3DOM Au/20%CeO2/Al2O3showed high catalytic activity and stability in diesel soot oxidation.展开更多

The as-synthesized catalysts showed well- ordered stru...Three dimensionally ordered macroporous (3DOM) Ce-based catalysts were successfully prepared via a surfactant-assisted colloidal crystal template (CCT) route. The as-synthesized catalysts showed well- ordered structures with macropores and small interconnected pore windows. The Raman results indi- cate that the catalyst persists pure fluorite cubic phases until the molar ratio of Mn exceeds O.3, therefore MnOx particles form and impede the contact of the active site and the reagent and restraining soot combustion. The doping of Nd into MnOx-CeO2 enhances the catalytic activity because of increased oxygen vacancy, Mn4- content and stronger redox ability. Nd-doping also improves thermal stability of the catalyst due to less sintering and none phase separation after thermal aging. The flesh and aged Mno.3Ceo.6Ndo.lO2 catalysts show the maximum oxidation rate for soot at 331 and 355 ℃in the O2/N2 atmosphere, achieving a nearly 100% CO2 selectivity.展开更多
A series of three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous(3DOM)SnO2‐based catalysts modified by the cations Ce4+,Mn3+,and Cu2+have been prepared by using a colloidal crystal templating method and tested for soot combustio...A series of three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous(3DOM)SnO2‐based catalysts modified by the cations Ce4+,Mn3+,and Cu2+have been prepared by using a colloidal crystal templating method and tested for soot combustion under loose contact condition.XRD and STEM mapping results confirm that all the secondary metal cations have entered the lattice matrix of tetragonal rutile SnO2 to form non‐continuous solid solutions,thus impeding crystallization and improving the surface areas and pore volumes of the modified catalysts.In comparison with regular SnO2 nanoparticles,the 3DOM SnO2 displays evidently improved activity,testifying that the formation of the 3DOM structure can anchor the soot particulates in the macro‐pores,which ensures that the contact of the soot particles with the active sites on the 3DOM skeleton is more easily formed,thus benefiting the target reaction.With the incorporation of the secondary metal cations,the activity of the catalyst can be further improved due to the formation of more abundant mobile oxygen species.In summary,these effects are believed to be the major factors responsible for the activity of the catalyst.展开更多

The results indicate that the catalyst with assembled QDs is more favorable for the degradation than the pristine ZnO nanorods. The QDs with core-shell structure lower the photocatalytic ability due to the higher carder transport barrier of the ZnS shell layer. Besides its degradation efficiency, the photocatalyst has several advantages given that the one-dimensionally-ordered ZnO nanorods have been grown directly on indium tin oxide substrates. The article provides a new method to design an effective and easily recyclable photocatalyst.展开更多

The obtained HPW/SiO_2 materials were characterized through scanning electron microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, N_2 sorption, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The results indicated that 3 DOM HPW/SiO_2 possessed hierarchical pore architectures which contained ordered macropores and disordered mesopores, with the Keggin type HPW embedded in the framework of pore structure. The removal rate of dibenzothiophene(DBT) could reach 100% under the optimum conditions, moreover. The performance was only slightly decreased for the regenerated catalyst after 7 cycles.展开更多

Green and red upconversion emissions were observed under the excitation of 980 nm at room temperature. It was found that the ratio of red to green upconversion emission intensity increased with increasing of concentration of the Yb3+ or Er3+ ions in the three-dimensional ordered macroporous CeO2:Yb,Er materials. When the concentration of Yb3+ was 10 mol%, pure red upconversion emission was obtained. The varied mechanism of ratio of red to green upconversion emission intensity was discussed with the concentration of Yb3+ or Er3+ ions.展开更多

The catalytic performance for water-gas shift (WGS) reaction was tested, and the influences of some conditions, such as reduction temperature of catalysts, the amount of Pt loadings and space velocity on catalytic performance were investigated. It was shown that Pt particles were homogeneously dispersed on 3DOM TiO2. The reduction of TiO2 surface was important for the catalytic performance. The activity test results showed that the 3DOM Pt/TiO2 catalysts exhibited very good catalytic performance for WGS reaction even at high space velocity, which was owing to the better mass transfer of 3DOM porous structure besides the high intrinsic activity of Pt/TiO2.展开更多

The three-dimensionally ordered macroporous(3DOM) polyimide membranes without crack were fabricated by reproducing the structure of silica opal template. We prepared the pore-filling composite proton exchange membranes by filling the 3DOM structure with proton conducting organosilane sol. The result indicates that the composite membranes exhibit higher water uptake than pure filling organosilane gel. The proton conductivity increased with the increasing of pore cell in composite membranes.展开更多

By using the upwind difference method to discretize the spatial derivative term and the forward and backward Euler method to discretize the time derivative term, the explicit and implicit upwind difference schemes are obtained respectively. It is proved that the explicit upwind scheme is conditionally stable and the implicit upwind scheme is unconditionally stable. Then the convergence of the schemes is derived. The high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of the initial...Response of the wave packet of a one-dimensional Coulomb atom to an intense laser field is calculated using the symmetrized split operator fast Fourier method. The high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of the initial state separately being the ground and excited states is presented. When the hardness parameter a in the soft Coulomb potential V(x) =-1√x^2+α is chosen to be small enough, the so-called hard Coulomb potential V(x)=1/|x| can be obtained. It is well known that the hard one-dimensional Coulomb atom has an unstable ground state with an energy eigenvalue of - 0.5 and it has no states corresponding to physical states in the true atoms, and has the first and second excited states being degenerate. The parity effects on the HHG can be seen from the first and second excited states of the hard one-dimensional Coulomb atom. The HHG spectra of the excited states from both the soft and hard Coulomb atom models are shown to have more complex structures and to be much stronger than the corresponding HHG spectrum of the ground state of the soft Coulomb model with a = 2 in the same laser field. Laser-induced non-resonant one-photon emission is also observed.展开更多

The main advantages of our scheme are higher accurate accuracy and facility to implement. At each inter...This paper deals with a new higher order compact difference scheme, which is, O(h4) using coupled approach on the 19-point 3D stencil for the solution of three dimensional nonlinear biharmonic equations. At each internal grid point, the solution u(x,y,z) and its Laplacian Δ4u are obtained. The resulting stencil algo-rithm is presented and hence this new algorithm can be easily incorporated to solve many problems. The present discretization allows us to use the Dirichlet boundary conditions only and there is no need to discretize the derivative boundary conditions near the boundary. We also show that special treatment is required to handle the boundary conditions. Convergence analysis for a model problem is briefly discussed. The method is tested on three problems and compares very favourably with the corresponding second order approximation which we also discuss using coupled approach.展开更多

It was found that the ratio of red to green upconversion emission intensity increased with increasing of concentration of the Yb3+ or Er3+ ions in the three-dimensional ordered macroporous CeO2:Yb,Er materials. When the concentration of Yb3+ was 10 mol%, pure red upconversion emission was obtained. The varied mechanism of ratio of red to green upconversion emission intensity was discussed with the concentration of Yb3+ or Er3+ ions.

文摘Three-dimensionally ordered macro-porous (3DOM) Pt/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by template and impregnation methods, and the resultant samples were characterized by using TG-DTA, XRD, SEM, TEM, and TPR techniques. The catalytic performance for water-gas shift (WGS) reaction was tested, and the influences of some conditions, such as reduction temperature of catalysts, the amount of Pt loadings and space velocity on catalytic performance were investigated. It was shown that Pt particles were homogeneously dispersed on 3DOM TiO2. The reduction of TiO2 surface was important for the catalytic performance. The activity test results showed that the 3DOM Pt/TiO2 catalysts exhibited very good catalytic performance for WGS reaction even at high space velocity, which was owing to the better mass transfer of 3DOM porous structure besides the high intrinsic activity of Pt/TiO2.

文摘The silica opal templates were prepared from three silica colloids of different diameters of 230 nm, 500 nm and 1.5 mm by a filtration route. The large-scale stable opal template membranes after sintering the deposited SiO2 opal template can be successfully obtained by optimizing the pH value and NaCl concentration in silica colloidal solutions. The three-dimensionally ordered macroporous(3DOM) polyimide membranes without crack were fabricated by reproducing the structure of silica opal template. We prepared the pore-filling composite proton exchange membranes by filling the 3DOM structure with proton conducting organosilane sol. The result indicates that the composite membranes exhibit higher water uptake than pure filling organosilane gel. The proton conductivity increased with the increasing of pore cell in composite membranes.
文摘In this paper, we consider the initial-boundary value problem of two-dimensional first-order linear hyperbolic equation with variable coefficients. By using the upwind difference method to discretize the spatial derivative term and the forward and backward Euler method to discretize the time derivative term, the explicit and implicit upwind difference schemes are obtained respectively. It is proved that the explicit upwind scheme is conditionally stable and the implicit upwind scheme is unconditionally stable. Then the convergence of the schemes is derived. Numerical examples verify the results of theoretical analysis.
文摘The (2 + 1)-dimensional fifth-order KdV equation is an important higher-dimensional and higher-order extension of the famous KdV equation in fluid dynamics. In this paper, by constructing new test functions, we investigate the periodic solitary wave solutions for the (2 + 1)-dimensional fifth-order KdV equation by virtue of the Hirota bilinear form. Several novel analytic solutions for such a model are obtained and verified with the help of symbolic computation.

文摘Response of the wave packet of a one-dimensional Coulomb atom to an intense laser field is calculated using the symmetrized split operator fast Fourier method. The high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of the initial state separately being the ground and excited states is presented. When the hardness parameter a in the soft Coulomb potential V(x) =-1√x^2+α is chosen to be small enough, the so-called hard Coulomb potential V(x)=1/|x| can be obtained. It is well known that the hard one-dimensional Coulomb atom has an unstable ground state with an energy eigenvalue of - 0.5 and it has no states corresponding to physical states in the true atoms, and has the first and second excited states being degenerate. The parity effects on the HHG can be seen from the first and second excited states of the hard one-dimensional Coulomb atom. The HHG spectra of the excited states from both the soft and hard Coulomb atom models are shown to have more complex structures and to be much stronger than the corresponding HHG spectrum of the ground state of the soft Coulomb model with a = 2 in the same laser field. Laser-induced non-resonant one-photon emission is also observed.

文摘We proposed a higher-order accurate explicit finite-difference scheme for solving the two-dimensional heat equation. It has a fourth-order approximation in the space variables, and a second-order approximation in the time variable. As an application, we developed the proposed numerical scheme for solving a numerical solution of the two-dimensional coupled Burgers’ equations. The main advantages of our scheme are higher accurate accuracy and facility to implement. The good accuracy of the proposed numerical scheme is tested by comparing the approximate numerical and the exact solutions for several two-dimensional coupled Burgers’ equations.
文摘This paper deals with a new higher order compact difference scheme, which is, O(h4) using coupled approach on the 19-point 3D stencil for the solution of three dimensional nonlinear biharmonic equations. At each internal grid point, the solution u(x,y,z) and its Laplacian Δ4u are obtained. The resulting stencil algo-rithm is presented and hence this new algorithm can be easily incorporated to solve many problems. The present discretization allows us to use the Dirichlet boundary conditions only and there is no need to discretize the derivative boundary conditions near the boundary. We also show that special treatment is required to handle the boundary conditions. Convergence analysis for a model problem is briefly discussed. The method is tested on three problems and compares very favourably with the corresponding second order approximation which we also discuss using coupled approach.
