Wake effects in large-scalewind farms significantly reduce energy capture efficiency.ActiveWakeControl(AWC),particularly through intentional yaw misalignment of upstream turbines,has emerged as a promising strategy to...Wake effects in large-scalewind farms significantly reduce energy capture efficiency.ActiveWakeControl(AWC),particularly through intentional yaw misalignment of upstream turbines,has emerged as a promising strategy to mitigate these losses by redirecting wakes away from downstream turbines.However,the effectiveness of yaw-based AWC is highly dependent on the accuracy of the underlying wake prediction models,which often require site-specific adjustments to reflect local atmospheric conditions and turbine characteristics.This paper presents an integrated,data-driven framework tomaximize wind farmpower output.Themethodology consists of three key stages.First,a practical simulation-assisted matching method is developed to estimate the True North Alignment(TNA)of each turbine using historical Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA)data,resolving a common source of operational uncertainty.Second,key wake expansion parameters of the Floris engineering wake model are calibrated using site-specific SCADA power data,tailoring the model to the JibeiWind Farm in China.Finally,using this calibrated model,the derivative-free solver NOMAD is employed to determine the optimal yaw angle settings for an 11-turbine cluster under various wind conditions.Simulation studies,based on real operational scenarios,demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework.The optimized yaw control strategies achieved total power output gains of up to 5.4%compared to the baseline zero-yaw operation under specific wake-inducing conditions.Crucially,the analysis reveals that using the site-specific calibrated model for optimization yields substantially better results than using a model with generic parameters,providing an additional power gain of up to 1.43%in tested scenarios.These findings underscore the critical importance of TNA estimation and site-specific model calibration for developing effective AWC strategies.The proposed integrated approach provides a robust and practical workflow for designing and pre-validating yaw control settings,offering a valuable tool for enhancing the economic performance of wind farms.展开更多
Accurate calibration of surgical instruments and ultrasound probes is essential for achieving high precision in image guided minimally invasive procedures.However,existing methods typically treat the calibration of th...Accurate calibration of surgical instruments and ultrasound probes is essential for achieving high precision in image guided minimally invasive procedures.However,existing methods typically treat the calibration of the needle tip and the ultrasound probe as two independent processes,lacking an integrated calibration mechanism,which often leads to cumulative errors and reduced spatial consistency.To address this challenge,we propose a joint calibration model that unifies the calibration of the surgical needle tip and the ultrasound probe within a single coordinate system.The method formulates the calibration process through a series of mathematical models and coordinate transformation models and employs a gradient descent based optimization to refine the parameters of these models.By establishing and iteratively optimizing a template coordinate system through modeling of constrained spherical motion,the proposed joint calibration model achieves submillimeter accuracy in needle tip localization.Building upon this,an N line based calibration model is developed to determine the spatial relationship between the probe and the ultrasound image plane,resulting in an average pixel deviation of only 1.2373 mm.Experimental results confirm that this unified modeling approach effectively overcomes the limitations of separate calibration schemes,significantly enhancing both precision and robustness,and providing a reliable computational model for surgical navigation systems that require high spatial accuracy without relying on ionizing radiation.展开更多
Although Quercus mongolica is a widely distributed,economically and ecologically important deciduous tree in northern China,models to accurately predict stand growth at a regional scale are limited.The physiological p...Although Quercus mongolica is a widely distributed,economically and ecologically important deciduous tree in northern China,models to accurately predict stand growth at a regional scale are limited.The physiological process model(3-PG)has the potential to predict stand growth dynamics under varying site conditions and climate change scenarios.Here,we used field inventory,tree ring sampling,and Bayesian calibration to parameterize a model for Q.mongolica.Stand volume and productivity were then predicted under present conditions and three future climate scenarios(RCP26,RCP45 and RCP85).Our results demonstrated that after Bayesian calibration,the posterior ranges of the sensitivity parameters apha Cx,wSx1000 and pRn accounted for 34%,45%and 65%,respectively,of their prior range.Calibration and validation results revealed a strong correlation between predicted and measured values(R^(2)>0.87,P<0.01),with<20%bias for all growth indicators.Stand volume was projected to increase by 145%and productivity by 80%by the year 2100 under the RCP85 scenario,although these projections may vary across regions.The present study developed a tailored set of 3-PG model parameters for Q.mongolica,based on a comprehensive range of climate conditions,stand structure,and age classes.These parameters offer a scientific basis to accurately predict growth of other monospecific oak or mixed-species stands.展开更多
Due to the different microstructures caused by the heat source effect,welding joints exhibit significant differences in mechanical properties compared to the base material.Precise characterization of the constitutive ...Due to the different microstructures caused by the heat source effect,welding joints exhibit significant differences in mechanical properties compared to the base material.Precise characterization of the constitutive characteristics of the welded joint requires a large number of repetitive experiments,which are costly,inefficient,and have limited accuracy improvements.This paper proposes an integrated experimental-simulation-based inverse calibration method,which establishes a calibration optimization problem based on the corresponding constitutive model and a finite element calculation model built by the distribution of hardness in the weldment.Using the global tensile force-displacement curve of the MIG-welded 6005A-T6 aluminum alloy specimen and the experimental data of local deformation with time change obtained from DIC(Digital Image Correlation),the parameters involved in the constitutive models are optimized accordingly.This method can directly obtain the constitutive characteristics of the weldment under conditions of limited experiments and insufficient data.Additionally,the adaptability of the constitutive model to the calibration method and the influence of optimization results are discussed and analyzed.The results indicate that the global force-displacement response of the non-saturated Ramberg-Osgood(R-O)model is in the best agreement with that of the experimental data,and the energy error is only 2.62%,followed by the MPL model,while the saturation-based Voce model shows the largest simulation error in terms of the presented object.Furthermore,the simulation results of R-O,Voce,and MPL models in the local area are far superior to traditional fitting methods.展开更多

Current research on robot calibration can be roughly classified into two categories,and both of them have certain inherent limitations.Model-based methods are difficult to model and compensate the pose errors arising ...Current research on robot calibration can be roughly classified into two categories,and both of them have certain inherent limitations.Model-based methods are difficult to model and compensate the pose errors arising from configuration-dependent geometric and non-geometric source errors,whereas the accuracy of data-driven methods depends on a large amount of measurement data.Using a 5-DOF(degrees of freedom)hybrid machining robot as an exemplar,this study presents a model data-driven approach for the calibration of robotic manipulators.An f-DOF realistic robot containing various source errors is visualized as a 6-DOF fictitious robot having error-free parameters,but erroneous actuated/virtual joint motions.The calibration process essentially involves four steps:(1)formulating the linear map relating the pose error twist to the joint motion errors,(2)parameterizing the joint motion errors using second-order polynomials in terms of nominal actuated joint variables,(3)identifying the polynomial coefficients using the weighted least squares plus principal component analysis,and(4)compensating the compensable pose errors by updating the nominal actuated joint variables.The merit of this approach is that it enables compensation of the pose errors caused by configuration-dependent geometric and non-geometric source errors using finite measurement configurations.Experimental studies on a prototype machine illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.展开更多
The shear pin of the friction pendulum bearing(FPB)can be made of 40Cr steel.In conceptual design,the optimal cut-off point of the shear pin is predetermined,guiding the design of bridges isolated by FPBs to maximize ...The shear pin of the friction pendulum bearing(FPB)can be made of 40Cr steel.In conceptual design,the optimal cut-off point of the shear pin is predetermined,guiding the design of bridges isolated by FPBs to maximize their isolation performance.Current researches on the shear pins are mainly based on linear elastic models,neglecting their plasticity,damage,and fracture mechanical properties.To accurately predict its cutoff behavior,the elastic-plastic degradationmodel of 40Cr steel is indeed calibrated.For this purpose,the Ramberg-Osgoodmodel,the Bao-Wierzbicki damage initiation criterion,and the linear damage evolution criterion were selected to develop the elastic-plastic degradation model of 40Cr.Subsequently,parameter calibration of this model was performed through uniaxial tensile tests on two sets of six smooth,round bars with different diameters.Following this,finite element simulations were conducted for the pure shear test of grade 10.9 high-strength bolts made of 40Cr steel,aiming to verify the elasticplastic degradation model.The results showed that the failure modes and force-displacement curves simulated by the finite element method were in good agreement with the test results.Moreover,the error between the primary characteristic parameters(initial stiffness,peak load,fracture displacement,and absorbed energy)obtained by finite element calculation and the test values was within 15%.These results demonstrated that the calibration elastic-plastic degradation model of 40Cr steel can predict the cutoff of the shear pin.展开更多
LiDAR and camera are two of the most common sensors used in the fields of robot perception,autonomous driving,augmented reality,and virtual reality,where these sensors are widely used to perform various tasks such as ...LiDAR and camera are two of the most common sensors used in the fields of robot perception,autonomous driving,augmented reality,and virtual reality,where these sensors are widely used to perform various tasks such as odometry estimation and 3D reconstruction.Fusing the information from these two sensors can significantly increase the robustness and accuracy of these perception tasks.The extrinsic calibration between cameras and LiDAR is a fundamental prerequisite for multimodal systems.Recently,extensive studies have been conducted on the calibration of extrinsic parameters.Although several calibration methods facilitate sensor fusion,a comprehensive summary for researchers and,especially,non-expert users is lacking.Thus,we present an overview of extrinsic calibration and discuss diverse calibration methods from the perspective of calibration system design.Based on the calibration information sources,this study classifies these methods as target-based or targetless.For each type of calibration method,further classification was performed according to the diverse types of features or constraints used in the calibration process,and their detailed implementations and key characteristics were introduced.Thereafter,calibration-accuracy evaluation methods are presented.Finally,we comprehensively compare the advantages and disadvantages of each calibration method and suggest directions for practical applications and future research.展开更多
The two-dimensional grating serves as a critical component in plane grating interferometers for achieving high-precision multidimensional displacement measurements.The calibration of grating groove density and orthogo...The two-dimensional grating serves as a critical component in plane grating interferometers for achieving high-precision multidimensional displacement measurements.The calibration of grating groove density and orthogonality error of grating grooves not only improves the positioning accuracy of grating interferometers but also provides essential feedback for optimizing two-dimensional grating fabrication.This study proposes a method for simultaneous calibration of these parameters using orthogonal heterodyne laser interferometry.A two-dimensional grating interferometer is built with the grating to be measured,and a biaxial laser interferometer provides a displacement reference for it.The phase mapping relationship between grating interference and laser interference is established.The interference phase information obtained by any two displacements can simultaneously solve the above three parameters and obtain the grating installation error.The feasibility of the proposed method is verified by using a 1200 gr/mm two-dimensional grating.The standard deviation of the grating groove density in the X and Y directions is 0.012 gr/mm and 0.014 gr/mm,respectively.The standard deviation of the orthogonality error of grating grooves is 0.004°,and the standard deviation of the installation error is 0.002°.Compared with the atomic force microscope method,the consistency of the grating groove density in the X and Y directions is better than 0.03 gr/mm and 0.06 gr/mm,and the orthogonality error of grating grooves is better than 0.008°.The experimental results show that the proposed method can be simply and efficiently applied to the calibration of the grating line parameters of the two-dimensional grating.展开更多

Objectives:Valid estimation of energy expenditure remains a challenge,particularly when using ankle-and thighworn devices.The Move 4 is a research-grade accelerometer previously tested for predicting metabolic equival...Objectives:Valid estimation of energy expenditure remains a challenge,particularly when using ankle-and thighworn devices.The Move 4 is a research-grade accelerometer previously tested for predicting metabolic equivalents(METs)when worn at the waist or wrist.This study aimed to calibrate and evaluate regression models to estimate METs from Move 4 data when worn at the ankle and thigh.Methods:Participants completed walking and jogging tasks under laboratory conditions while wearing Move 4 sensors and with indirect calorimetry as a reference measure.Models were calibrated using study 1(n=160)and evaluated in an independent dataset(study 2;n=15).Performance was assessed using mean absolute error(MAE),root mean square error(RMSE),and Bland-Altman analyses.Results:The MET models demonstrated strong agreement across both locations and datasets.For the thigh position,the MAE ranged from 0.60 METs(walking)to 1.38 METs(jogging),with RMSE of 0.82 and 1.70 in the evaluation data.Calibration metrics were comparable(jogging:MAE=1.24,RMSE=1.63).The ankle models showed similar accuracy,with MAEs of 0.66(walking)and 1.39(jogging),and RMSEs of 0.85 and 1.67,respectively.Systematic bias remained low(mean differences between−0.34 and−0.01 METs).Conclusions:This study provides the first calibration and evaluation for estimating METs from ankle-and thigh-worn Move 4 accelerometers.The model indicated accurate,highresolution MET estimation for walking and jogging.Future work should expand independent performance evaluations,including diverse activities such as static activities,and diverse samples under free-living conditions.展开更多
Rural domestic sewage treatment is critical for environmental protection.This study defines the spatial pattern of villages from the perspective of rural sewage treatment and develops an integrated decision-making sys...Rural domestic sewage treatment is critical for environmental protection.This study defines the spatial pattern of villages from the perspective of rural sewage treatment and develops an integrated decision-making system to propose a sewage treatment mode and scheme suitable for local conditions.By considering the village spatial layout and terrain factors,a decision tree model of residential density and terrain type was constructed with accuracies of 76.47%and 96.00%,respectively.Combined with binary classification probability unit regression,an appropriate sewage treatment mode for the village was determined with 87.00%accuracy.The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),combined with the Technique for Order Preference(TOPSIS)by Similarity to an Ideal Solution model,formed the basis for optimal treatment process selection under different emission standards.Verification was conducted in 542 villages across three counties of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,focusing on the standard effluent effect(0.3773),low investment cost(0.3196),and high standard effluent effect(0.5115)to determine the best treatment process for the same emission standard under different needs.The annual environmental and carbon emission benefits of sewage treatment in these villages were estimated.This model matches village density,geographic feature,and social development level,and provides scientific support and a theoretical basis for rural sewage treatment decision-making.展开更多

We present a comprehensive description and benchmark evaluation of the global–regional chemical transport model called the Emission and Atmospheric Processes Integrated and Coupled Community(EPICC)model.The framework...We present a comprehensive description and benchmark evaluation of the global–regional chemical transport model called the Emission and Atmospheric Processes Integrated and Coupled Community(EPICC)model.The framework incorporates(1)grid configuration,(2)transport dynamics,(3)chemical mechanisms,(4)aerosol processes,(5)wet/dry deposition parameterizations,and(6)heterogeneous chemistry treatments associated with sulfate,nitrous acid(HONO)chemistry,and aerosol/cloud–photolysis interactions(APIs/CPIs).Openly shared with the atmospheric research community,the model facilitates integration of advanced physicochemical schemes to enhance simulation accuracy.Globally,the model demonstrates realistic representations of ozone(O_(3))and aerosol optical depth.The EPICC model generally demonstrates robust performance in simulating regional concentrations of O_(3) and PM_(2.5)(and its components)in China.It successfully captures vertical profiles of both global and regional O_(3).Notably,the model mitigates frequently reported sulfate underestimations in highly industrialized regions of China.The model accurately captures two regional severe pollution episodes observed in eastern China(January/June 2021).Sensitivity experiments highlight the critical roles of heterogeneous chemical mechanisms associated with sulfate,HONO chemistry,APIs,and CPIs in capturing PM_(2.5) and O_(3) concentrations in China.Improved sulfate mechanisms result in an increase of approximately 32.4%(2.8μg m^(−3))in simulated winter sulfate concentrations when observations exceed 10μg m^(−3).Enhanced HONO elevates winter O_(3) and PM_(2.5) by≤20 and≤10μg m^(−3),respectively.Overall,CPIs dominate over APIs in improving O_(3) and PM_(2.5) simulations across China.Locally,APIs mitigate PM_(2.5) and O_(3) discrepancies in the Sichuan Basin.Seasonal cloud–chemistry coupling explains the weaker impact of PM_(2.5) in summer.展开更多

Model evaluation using benchmark datasets is an important method to measure the capability of large language models(LLMs)in specific domains,and it is mainly used to assess the knowledge and reasoning abilities of LLM...Model evaluation using benchmark datasets is an important method to measure the capability of large language models(LLMs)in specific domains,and it is mainly used to assess the knowledge and reasoning abilities of LLMs.Therefore,in order to better assess the capability of LLMs in the agricultural domain,Agri-Eval was proposed as a benchmark for assessing the knowledge and reasoning ability of LLMs in agriculture.The assessment dataset used in Agri-Eval covered seven major disciplines in the agricultural domain:crop science,horticulture,plant protection,animal husbandry,forest science,aquaculture science,and grass science,and contained a total of 2283 questions.Among domestic general-purpose LLMs,DeepSeek R1 performed best with an accuracy rate of 75.49%.In the realm of international general-purpose LLMs,Gemini 2.0 pro exp 0205 standed out as the top performer,achieving an accuracy rate of 74.28%.As an LLMs in agriculture vertical,Shennong V2.0 outperformed all the LLMs in China,and the answer accuracy rate of agricultural knowledge exceeded that of all the existing general-purpose LLMs.The launch of Agri-Eval helped the LLM developers to comprehensively evaluate the model's capability in the field of agriculture through a variety of tasks and tests to promote the development of the LLMs in the field of agriculture.展开更多

文摘Wake effects in large-scalewind farms significantly reduce energy capture efficiency.ActiveWakeControl(AWC),particularly through intentional yaw misalignment of upstream turbines,has emerged as a promising strategy to mitigate these losses by redirecting wakes away from downstream turbines.However,the effectiveness of yaw-based AWC is highly dependent on the accuracy of the underlying wake prediction models,which often require site-specific adjustments to reflect local atmospheric conditions and turbine characteristics.This paper presents an integrated,data-driven framework tomaximize wind farmpower output.Themethodology consists of three key stages.First,a practical simulation-assisted matching method is developed to estimate the True North Alignment(TNA)of each turbine using historical Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA)data,resolving a common source of operational uncertainty.Second,key wake expansion parameters of the Floris engineering wake model are calibrated using site-specific SCADA power data,tailoring the model to the JibeiWind Farm in China.Finally,using this calibrated model,the derivative-free solver NOMAD is employed to determine the optimal yaw angle settings for an 11-turbine cluster under various wind conditions.Simulation studies,based on real operational scenarios,demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework.The optimized yaw control strategies achieved total power output gains of up to 5.4%compared to the baseline zero-yaw operation under specific wake-inducing conditions.Crucially,the analysis reveals that using the site-specific calibrated model for optimization yields substantially better results than using a model with generic parameters,providing an additional power gain of up to 1.43%in tested scenarios.These findings underscore the critical importance of TNA estimation and site-specific model calibration for developing effective AWC strategies.The proposed integrated approach provides a robust and practical workflow for designing and pre-validating yaw control settings,offering a valuable tool for enhancing the economic performance of wind farms.

文摘Accurate calibration of surgical instruments and ultrasound probes is essential for achieving high precision in image guided minimally invasive procedures.However,existing methods typically treat the calibration of the needle tip and the ultrasound probe as two independent processes,lacking an integrated calibration mechanism,which often leads to cumulative errors and reduced spatial consistency.To address this challenge,we propose a joint calibration model that unifies the calibration of the surgical needle tip and the ultrasound probe within a single coordinate system.The method formulates the calibration process through a series of mathematical models and coordinate transformation models and employs a gradient descent based optimization to refine the parameters of these models.By establishing and iteratively optimizing a template coordinate system through modeling of constrained spherical motion,the proposed joint calibration model achieves submillimeter accuracy in needle tip localization.Building upon this,an N line based calibration model is developed to determine the spatial relationship between the probe and the ultrasound image plane,resulting in an average pixel deviation of only 1.2373 mm.Experimental results confirm that this unified modeling approach effectively overcomes the limitations of separate calibration schemes,significantly enhancing both precision and robustness,and providing a reliable computational model for surgical navigation systems that require high spatial accuracy without relying on ionizing radiation.

文摘Although Quercus mongolica is a widely distributed,economically and ecologically important deciduous tree in northern China,models to accurately predict stand growth at a regional scale are limited.The physiological process model(3-PG)has the potential to predict stand growth dynamics under varying site conditions and climate change scenarios.Here,we used field inventory,tree ring sampling,and Bayesian calibration to parameterize a model for Q.mongolica.Stand volume and productivity were then predicted under present conditions and three future climate scenarios(RCP26,RCP45 and RCP85).Our results demonstrated that after Bayesian calibration,the posterior ranges of the sensitivity parameters apha Cx,wSx1000 and pRn accounted for 34%,45%and 65%,respectively,of their prior range.Calibration and validation results revealed a strong correlation between predicted and measured values(R^(2)>0.87,P<0.01),with<20%bias for all growth indicators.Stand volume was projected to increase by 145%and productivity by 80%by the year 2100 under the RCP85 scenario,although these projections may vary across regions.The present study developed a tailored set of 3-PG model parameters for Q.mongolica,based on a comprehensive range of climate conditions,stand structure,and age classes.These parameters offer a scientific basis to accurately predict growth of other monospecific oak or mixed-species stands.

文摘Due to the different microstructures caused by the heat source effect,welding joints exhibit significant differences in mechanical properties compared to the base material.Precise characterization of the constitutive characteristics of the welded joint requires a large number of repetitive experiments,which are costly,inefficient,and have limited accuracy improvements.This paper proposes an integrated experimental-simulation-based inverse calibration method,which establishes a calibration optimization problem based on the corresponding constitutive model and a finite element calculation model built by the distribution of hardness in the weldment.Using the global tensile force-displacement curve of the MIG-welded 6005A-T6 aluminum alloy specimen and the experimental data of local deformation with time change obtained from DIC(Digital Image Correlation),the parameters involved in the constitutive models are optimized accordingly.This method can directly obtain the constitutive characteristics of the weldment under conditions of limited experiments and insufficient data.Additionally,the adaptability of the constitutive model to the calibration method and the influence of optimization results are discussed and analyzed.The results indicate that the global force-displacement response of the non-saturated Ramberg-Osgood(R-O)model is in the best agreement with that of the experimental data,and the energy error is only 2.62%,followed by the MPL model,while the saturation-based Voce model shows the largest simulation error in terms of the presented object.Furthermore,the simulation results of R-O,Voce,and MPL models in the local area are far superior to traditional fitting methods.

文摘To address the installation challenges of a 2-m ring Gregorian telescope system,and similar optical systems with a small width-to-radius ratio,we propose a detection method combining local interferometry with a comparison model.This method enhances the precision of system calibration by establishing a dataset that delineates the relationship between secondary mirror misalignment and wavefront aberration,subsequently inferring the misalignment from interferometric detection results during the calibration process.For the 2-m ring telescope,we develop a detection model using five local sub-apertures,enabling a root-mean-square detection accuracy of 0:0225λ(λ=632:8 nm)for full-aperture wavefront aberration.The calibration results for the 2-m Ring Solar Telescope system indicate that the root-mean-square value of sub-aperture wavefront aberration reaches 0.104λ,and the root-mean-square value of spliced full-aperture measurement yields reaches 0.112λ.This method offers a novel approach for calibrating small width-toradius ratio telescope systems and can be applied to the calibration of other irregular-aperture optical systems.

文摘Current research on robot calibration can be roughly classified into two categories,and both of them have certain inherent limitations.Model-based methods are difficult to model and compensate the pose errors arising from configuration-dependent geometric and non-geometric source errors,whereas the accuracy of data-driven methods depends on a large amount of measurement data.Using a 5-DOF(degrees of freedom)hybrid machining robot as an exemplar,this study presents a model data-driven approach for the calibration of robotic manipulators.An f-DOF realistic robot containing various source errors is visualized as a 6-DOF fictitious robot having error-free parameters,but erroneous actuated/virtual joint motions.The calibration process essentially involves four steps:(1)formulating the linear map relating the pose error twist to the joint motion errors,(2)parameterizing the joint motion errors using second-order polynomials in terms of nominal actuated joint variables,(3)identifying the polynomial coefficients using the weighted least squares plus principal component analysis,and(4)compensating the compensable pose errors by updating the nominal actuated joint variables.The merit of this approach is that it enables compensation of the pose errors caused by configuration-dependent geometric and non-geometric source errors using finite measurement configurations.Experimental studies on a prototype machine illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

文摘The shear pin of the friction pendulum bearing(FPB)can be made of 40Cr steel.In conceptual design,the optimal cut-off point of the shear pin is predetermined,guiding the design of bridges isolated by FPBs to maximize their isolation performance.Current researches on the shear pins are mainly based on linear elastic models,neglecting their plasticity,damage,and fracture mechanical properties.To accurately predict its cutoff behavior,the elastic-plastic degradationmodel of 40Cr steel is indeed calibrated.For this purpose,the Ramberg-Osgoodmodel,the Bao-Wierzbicki damage initiation criterion,and the linear damage evolution criterion were selected to develop the elastic-plastic degradation model of 40Cr.Subsequently,parameter calibration of this model was performed through uniaxial tensile tests on two sets of six smooth,round bars with different diameters.Following this,finite element simulations were conducted for the pure shear test of grade 10.9 high-strength bolts made of 40Cr steel,aiming to verify the elasticplastic degradation model.The results showed that the failure modes and force-displacement curves simulated by the finite element method were in good agreement with the test results.Moreover,the error between the primary characteristic parameters(initial stiffness,peak load,fracture displacement,and absorbed energy)obtained by finite element calculation and the test values was within 15%.These results demonstrated that the calibration elastic-plastic degradation model of 40Cr steel can predict the cutoff of the shear pin.

文摘LiDAR and camera are two of the most common sensors used in the fields of robot perception,autonomous driving,augmented reality,and virtual reality,where these sensors are widely used to perform various tasks such as odometry estimation and 3D reconstruction.Fusing the information from these two sensors can significantly increase the robustness and accuracy of these perception tasks.The extrinsic calibration between cameras and LiDAR is a fundamental prerequisite for multimodal systems.Recently,extensive studies have been conducted on the calibration of extrinsic parameters.Although several calibration methods facilitate sensor fusion,a comprehensive summary for researchers and,especially,non-expert users is lacking.Thus,we present an overview of extrinsic calibration and discuss diverse calibration methods from the perspective of calibration system design.Based on the calibration information sources,this study classifies these methods as target-based or targetless.For each type of calibration method,further classification was performed according to the diverse types of features or constraints used in the calibration process,and their detailed implementations and key characteristics were introduced.Thereafter,calibration-accuracy evaluation methods are presented.Finally,we comprehensively compare the advantages and disadvantages of each calibration method and suggest directions for practical applications and future research.
文摘The two-dimensional grating serves as a critical component in plane grating interferometers for achieving high-precision multidimensional displacement measurements.The calibration of grating groove density and orthogonality error of grating grooves not only improves the positioning accuracy of grating interferometers but also provides essential feedback for optimizing two-dimensional grating fabrication.This study proposes a method for simultaneous calibration of these parameters using orthogonal heterodyne laser interferometry.A two-dimensional grating interferometer is built with the grating to be measured,and a biaxial laser interferometer provides a displacement reference for it.The phase mapping relationship between grating interference and laser interference is established.The interference phase information obtained by any two displacements can simultaneously solve the above three parameters and obtain the grating installation error.The feasibility of the proposed method is verified by using a 1200 gr/mm two-dimensional grating.The standard deviation of the grating groove density in the X and Y directions is 0.012 gr/mm and 0.014 gr/mm,respectively.The standard deviation of the orthogonality error of grating grooves is 0.004°,and the standard deviation of the installation error is 0.002°.Compared with the atomic force microscope method,the consistency of the grating groove density in the X and Y directions is better than 0.03 gr/mm and 0.06 gr/mm,and the orthogonality error of grating grooves is better than 0.008°.The experimental results show that the proposed method can be simply and efficiently applied to the calibration of the grating line parameters of the two-dimensional grating.
文摘This study investigates the reduction in polarization measurement accuracy caused by varying in-cident angles in a liquid crystal variable retarder(LCVR).The phase delay characteristics of the LCVR were examined,with particular emphasis on the influence of different two-dimensional incident angles on phase delay behavior.Building upon the calibration of phase delay under normal incidence,a phase delay calibra-tion model was developed to account for variations in incident angle and driving voltage.A mathematical re-lationship was established between phase delay and the azimuth angle(α)and pitch angle(β).Experimental validation was conducted under three conditions:α=20°,β=0°;α=0°,β=20°;and an arbitrary angle whereα=5°,β=15°.The results demonstrated that the maximum average deviation between theoretical pre-dictions and experimental measurements did not exceed 0.059 rad.The proposed calibration method proved to be both accurate and practical.This approach offers robust support for LCVR parameter calibration and performance optimization in optical systems,particularly in polarization imaging applications.

文摘Objectives:Valid estimation of energy expenditure remains a challenge,particularly when using ankle-and thighworn devices.The Move 4 is a research-grade accelerometer previously tested for predicting metabolic equivalents(METs)when worn at the waist or wrist.This study aimed to calibrate and evaluate regression models to estimate METs from Move 4 data when worn at the ankle and thigh.Methods:Participants completed walking and jogging tasks under laboratory conditions while wearing Move 4 sensors and with indirect calorimetry as a reference measure.Models were calibrated using study 1(n=160)and evaluated in an independent dataset(study 2;n=15).Performance was assessed using mean absolute error(MAE),root mean square error(RMSE),and Bland-Altman analyses.Results:The MET models demonstrated strong agreement across both locations and datasets.For the thigh position,the MAE ranged from 0.60 METs(walking)to 1.38 METs(jogging),with RMSE of 0.82 and 1.70 in the evaluation data.Calibration metrics were comparable(jogging:MAE=1.24,RMSE=1.63).The ankle models showed similar accuracy,with MAEs of 0.66(walking)and 1.39(jogging),and RMSEs of 0.85 and 1.67,respectively.Systematic bias remained low(mean differences between−0.34 and−0.01 METs).Conclusions:This study provides the first calibration and evaluation for estimating METs from ankle-and thigh-worn Move 4 accelerometers.The model indicated accurate,highresolution MET estimation for walking and jogging.Future work should expand independent performance evaluations,including diverse activities such as static activities,and diverse samples under free-living conditions.

文摘Rural domestic sewage treatment is critical for environmental protection.This study defines the spatial pattern of villages from the perspective of rural sewage treatment and develops an integrated decision-making system to propose a sewage treatment mode and scheme suitable for local conditions.By considering the village spatial layout and terrain factors,a decision tree model of residential density and terrain type was constructed with accuracies of 76.47%and 96.00%,respectively.Combined with binary classification probability unit regression,an appropriate sewage treatment mode for the village was determined with 87.00%accuracy.The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),combined with the Technique for Order Preference(TOPSIS)by Similarity to an Ideal Solution model,formed the basis for optimal treatment process selection under different emission standards.Verification was conducted in 542 villages across three counties of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,focusing on the standard effluent effect(0.3773),low investment cost(0.3196),and high standard effluent effect(0.5115)to determine the best treatment process for the same emission standard under different needs.The annual environmental and carbon emission benefits of sewage treatment in these villages were estimated.This model matches village density,geographic feature,and social development level,and provides scientific support and a theoretical basis for rural sewage treatment decision-making.

文摘The segmented solar telescope described in this study employs a simultaneous dual-wavelength measurement technique to achieve co-phase alignment.To meet the measurement requirements of a 20μm range,5 nm root mean square precision,and edge jump rates of<10^(−6),this study focused on calibrating the dual-wavelength measurement system for the segmented-mirror solar telescope.Analysis of the relative error in the measurement system revealed that assembly-induced errors such as defocus,translation,scaling,and rotation markedly degrade measurement accuracy.To address these issues,we propose a defocus error compensation algorithm,based on the light intensity distribution of the point spread function(PSF)and an affine transformation model,to calibrate spatial pose deviations across the two measurement channels.A dual-wavelength measurement system was implemented on a segmented-mirror experimental platform for calibration.Experimental results demonstrated that the mean relative error decreased from−0.6423 to−0.0345 nm after calibration,reflecting improved reliability and stability of the co-phase measurements.

文摘We present a comprehensive description and benchmark evaluation of the global–regional chemical transport model called the Emission and Atmospheric Processes Integrated and Coupled Community(EPICC)model.The framework incorporates(1)grid configuration,(2)transport dynamics,(3)chemical mechanisms,(4)aerosol processes,(5)wet/dry deposition parameterizations,and(6)heterogeneous chemistry treatments associated with sulfate,nitrous acid(HONO)chemistry,and aerosol/cloud–photolysis interactions(APIs/CPIs).Openly shared with the atmospheric research community,the model facilitates integration of advanced physicochemical schemes to enhance simulation accuracy.Globally,the model demonstrates realistic representations of ozone(O_(3))and aerosol optical depth.The EPICC model generally demonstrates robust performance in simulating regional concentrations of O_(3) and PM_(2.5)(and its components)in China.It successfully captures vertical profiles of both global and regional O_(3).Notably,the model mitigates frequently reported sulfate underestimations in highly industrialized regions of China.The model accurately captures two regional severe pollution episodes observed in eastern China(January/June 2021).Sensitivity experiments highlight the critical roles of heterogeneous chemical mechanisms associated with sulfate,HONO chemistry,APIs,and CPIs in capturing PM_(2.5) and O_(3) concentrations in China.Improved sulfate mechanisms result in an increase of approximately 32.4%(2.8μg m^(−3))in simulated winter sulfate concentrations when observations exceed 10μg m^(−3).Enhanced HONO elevates winter O_(3) and PM_(2.5) by≤20 and≤10μg m^(−3),respectively.Overall,CPIs dominate over APIs in improving O_(3) and PM_(2.5) simulations across China.Locally,APIs mitigate PM_(2.5) and O_(3) discrepancies in the Sichuan Basin.Seasonal cloud–chemistry coupling explains the weaker impact of PM_(2.5) in summer.

文摘In data communication,limited communication resources often lead to measurement bias,which adversely affects subsequent system estimation if not effectively handled.This paper proposes a novel bias calibration algorithm under communication constraints to achieve accurate system states of the interested system.An output-based event-triggered scheme is first employed to alleviate transmission burden.Accounting for the limited-communication-induced measurement bias,a novel bias calibration algorithm following the Kalman filtering line is developed to restrain the effect of the measurement bias on system estimation,thereby achieving accurate system state estimates.Subsequently,the Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)implementation of the proposed algorithm is also realized with the hope of providing fast bias calibration in practical scenarios.A simulation about a numerical example and a practical example(for gyroscope’s angular velocity bias calibration)on MATLAB is provided to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
文摘Model evaluation using benchmark datasets is an important method to measure the capability of large language models(LLMs)in specific domains,and it is mainly used to assess the knowledge and reasoning abilities of LLMs.Therefore,in order to better assess the capability of LLMs in the agricultural domain,Agri-Eval was proposed as a benchmark for assessing the knowledge and reasoning ability of LLMs in agriculture.The assessment dataset used in Agri-Eval covered seven major disciplines in the agricultural domain:crop science,horticulture,plant protection,animal husbandry,forest science,aquaculture science,and grass science,and contained a total of 2283 questions.Among domestic general-purpose LLMs,DeepSeek R1 performed best with an accuracy rate of 75.49%.In the realm of international general-purpose LLMs,Gemini 2.0 pro exp 0205 standed out as the top performer,achieving an accuracy rate of 74.28%.As an LLMs in agriculture vertical,Shennong V2.0 outperformed all the LLMs in China,and the answer accuracy rate of agricultural knowledge exceeded that of all the existing general-purpose LLMs.The launch of Agri-Eval helped the LLM developers to comprehensively evaluate the model's capability in the field of agriculture through a variety of tasks and tests to promote the development of the LLMs in the field of agriculture.

文摘In this paper,we establish and study a single-species logistic model with impulsive age-selective harvesting.First,we prove the ultimate boundedness of the solutions of the system.Then,we obtain conditions for the asymptotic stability of the trivial solution and the positive periodic solution.Finally,numerical simulations are presented to validate our results.Our results show that age-selective harvesting is more conducive to sustainable population survival than non-age-selective harvesting.

文摘We present the preparation and measurement of the radioactive isotope^(37)Ar,which was produced using thermal neutrons from a reactor,as a calibration source for liquid xenon time projection chambers.^(37)Ar is a low-energy calibration source with a half-life of 35.01 days,making it suitable for calibration in the low-energy region of liquid xenon dark-matter experiments.Radioactive isotope^(37)Ar was produced by irradiating ^(36)Ar with thermal neutrons.It was subsequently measured in a gaseous xenon time projection chamber(GXe TPC)to validate its radioactivity.Our results demonstrate that^(37)Ar is an effective and viable calibration source that offers precise calibration capabilities in the low-energy domain of xenon-based detectors.

文摘This paper presents an efficient model reduction technique for linear time-varying systems based on shifted Legendre polynomials.The approach constructs approximate low-rank decomposition factors of finite-time Gramians directly from the expansion coefficients of impulse responses.Leveraging these factors,we develop two model reduction algorithms that integrate the low-rank square root method with dominant subspace projection.Our method is computationally efficient and flexible,requiring only a few matrix-vector operations and a singular value decomposition of a low-dimensional matrix,thereby avoiding the need to solve differential Lyapunov equations.Numerical experiments confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
