The application of χ state are investigated in remote state preparation (RSP). By constructing useful measurement bases with the aid of Hurwitz matrix equation, we propose several RSP schemes of arbitrary two- and three-qubit states via the χ state as the entangled resource. It is shown that the original state can be successfully prepared with the probability 100% and 50% for real coefficients and complex coefficients, respectively. For the latter case, the special ensembles with unit success probability are discussed by the permutation group. It is worth mentioning that the novel measurement bases have no restrictions on the coefficients of the prepared state, which means that the proposed schemes are more applicable. 展开更多

We construct ingenious measurement bases at the sender’s and the controller’s locations, which play a decisive role in the proposed schemes. Multi-party quantum communication has gradually attracted widespread attention.To realize the perfect transmission of quantum states among multiple participants,a novel multi-party controlled cyclic remote preparation protocol for arbitrary single-qubit states with three senders is proposed.With the permission of one controller,each sender can transmit an arbitrary singlequbit state to its neighbor.In addition,we give a universal protocol for multi-party controlled cyclic remote preparation of arbitrary single-qubit states in the case of multiple senders,which can realize deterministic cyclic preparation of multiple quantum states in one direction.The scheme shows that the communication task can be successfully achieved only if all senders cooperate with the controller,and there is no need for the senders to employ information splitting and additional operations before performing measurements.Finally,we discuss the cyclic remote preparation protocol with three senders under five types of noisy environment,and the closeness between the output state and original state is measured by calculating fidelity. 展开更多

The aim of quantum secret sharing,as one of most promising components of quantum cryptograph,is one-tomultiparty secret communication based on the principles of quantum mechanics.In this paper,an efficient multiparty quantum secret sharing protocol in a high-dimensional quantum system using a single qudit is proposed.Each participant's shadow is encoded on a single qudit via a measuring basis encryption method,which avoids the waste of qudits caused by basis reconciliation.Security analysis indicates that the proposed protocol is immune to general attacks,such as the measure-resend attack,entangle-and-measure attack and Trojan horse attack.Compared to former protocols,the proposed protocol only needs to perform the single-qudit measurement operation,and can share the predetermined dits instead of random bits or dits. 展开更多

We propose a quantum multiple access communications scheme using Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) sector states in the paper. In the scheme, each user has an individual modified Poincare Bloch sphere and encodes his information with his own corresponding sector OAM states. A prepared entangled photon pairs are separated at transmitter and receiver. At the transmitter, each user encodes his information with the sector OAM states on the photons and the superposition of the different sector OAM states is carried by the photons. Then the photons are transmitted through quantum noiseless channel to the receiver. At the receiver, each user could retrieve his information by coincidently measuring the transmitted photons with the receiver side photons which are modulated by a special prepared measurement basis. The theoretical analysis and the numerical simulations show that each user could get his information from the superposition state without error. It seems that this scheme provides a novel method for quantum multiple users communications. 展开更多

This paper presents an interesting protocol that allows two remote parties to distinguish four Bell states deterministically.
