Gauss radial basis functions(GRBF)are frequently employed in data fitting and machine learning.Their linear independence property can theoretically guarantee the avoidance of data redundancy.In this paper,one of the m...Gauss radial basis functions(GRBF)are frequently employed in data fitting and machine learning.Their linear independence property can theoretically guarantee the avoidance of data redundancy.In this paper,one of the main contributions is proving this property using linear algebra instead of profound knowledge.This makes it easy to read and understand this fundamental fact.The proof of linear independence of a set of Gauss functions relies on the constructing method for one-dimensional space and on the deducing method for higher dimensions.Additionally,under the condition of preserving the same moments between the original function and interpolating function,both the interpolating existence and uniqueness are proven for GRBF in one-dimensional space.The final work demonstrates the application of the GRBF method to locate lunar olivine.By combining preprocessed data using GRBF with the removing envelope curve method,a program is created to find the position of lunar olivine based on spectrum data,and the numerical experiment shows that it is an effective scheme.展开更多

I present a method to calculate the ballistic transport properties of atomic-scale structures under bias. The electronic structure of the system is calculated using the Kohn-Sham scheme of density functionai theory （...I present a method to calculate the ballistic transport properties of atomic-scale structures under bias. The electronic structure of the system is calculated using the Kohn-Sham scheme of density functionai theory （DFT）. The DFT eigenvectors are then transformed into a set of maximaily localized Wannier functions （MLWFs） [N. Maxzari and D. Vanderbilt, Phys. Rev. B 56 （1997） 12847]. The MLWFs are used as a minimai basis set to obtain the Hamitonian matrices of the scattering region and the adjacent leads, which are needed for transport calculation using the nonequilibrium Green＇s function formalism. The coupling of the scattering region to the semi-infinite leads is described by the self-energies of the leads. Using the nonequilibrium Green＇s function method, one calculates self-consistently the charge distribution of the system under bias and evaluates the transmission and current through the system. To solve the Poisson equation within the scheme of MLWFs I introduce a computationally efficient method. The method is applied to a molecular hydrogen contact in two transition metal monatomic wires （Cu and Pt）. It is found that for Pt the I-V characteristics is approximately linear dependence, however, for Cu the I-V characteristics manifests a linear dependence at low bias voltages and exhibits apparent nonlinearity at higher bias voltages. I have also calculated the transmission in the zero bias voltage limit for a single CO molecule adsorbed on Cu and Pt monatomic wires. While a chemical scissor effect occurs for the Cu monatomic wire with an adsorbed CO molecule, it is absent for the Pt monatomie wire due to the contribution of d-orbitals at the Fermi energy,展开更多

The Red Sea-Gulf of Suez-Cairo-Alexandria Clysmic-Trend in northern Egypt is the main earthquake zone in the country,with a moderate-to-high seismic hazard and a history of significant earthquakes caused by rifting an...The Red Sea-Gulf of Suez-Cairo-Alexandria Clysmic-Trend in northern Egypt is the main earthquake zone in the country,with a moderate-to-high seismic hazard and a history of significant earthquakes caused by rifting and active faulting.To improve our understanding of the tectonic and seismic processes in this area,more comprehensive imaging of the crustal structure is required.This can be achieved by increasing the number of receiver functions(RFs)recorded by the seismic stations in northern Egypt and the southeastern Mediterranean.Data handling and processing should also be automated to increase process efficiency.In this study,we developed a capsule neural network for automated selection of RFs.The model was trained on a dataset containing RFs(both selected and unselected)from five broadband stations in northern Egypt.Stations SLM,SIWA,KOT,NBNS,and NKL are located in the unstable shelf region of Egypt,where limited knowledge of the deep crustal structure is available.The proposed capsule neural network achieved an average precision of 80%on the test set.The automated selection of RFs using a capsule neural network has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of RF analysis,as demonstrated by the stacking test.This could lead to a better understanding of crustal structure and tectonic processes in northern Egypt and the southeastern Mediterranean.展开更多

We investigated the effects of high-intensity intermittent cross-training(HIICT)on maximal oxygen uptake(VO_(2)max).The HIICT consisted of alternating intermittent 20-s treadmill running(1^(st),3^(rd),5^(th),and 7^(th...We investigated the effects of high-intensity intermittent cross-training(HIICT)on maximal oxygen uptake(VO_(2)max).The HIICT consisted of alternating intermittent 20-s treadmill running(1^(st),3^(rd),5^(th),and 7^(th) bouts)and 20-s bicycle exercise(2^(nd),4^(th),and 6^(th) bouts)with a 10-s rest period.Each intensity for running and bicycling of the HIICT corresponded to an oxygen demand of~160% and~170%of the VO_(2)max,respectively.Fifteen healthy young males(aged[24±1]yrs)were randomly assigned to training(TG,n?8)and non-training control(CG,n?7)groups.The TG completed this HIICT daily 4 days/week for 6 weeks.Significant group×time interactions were observed for both the running and bicycling VO_(2)max(p<0.001 each).After the training,the VO_(2)max for both running([57.4±4.8]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))and bicycling([50.6±3.7]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))in the TG were significantly higher than those for running([50.1±3.1]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))and bicycling([43.7±3.6]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))in the CG,respectively(p<0.01 each).Post-hoc tests revealed a significant increase in VO_(2)max for running and bicycling in the TG after the HIICT(p<0.001 each)but no significant difference in the CG.These results demonstrated that the newly developed HIICT increases the VO_(2)max for both running and bicycling.展开更多

文摘The Red Sea-Gulf of Suez-Cairo-Alexandria Clysmic-Trend in northern Egypt is the main earthquake zone in the country,with a moderate-to-high seismic hazard and a history of significant earthquakes caused by rifting and active faulting.To improve our understanding of the tectonic and seismic processes in this area,more comprehensive imaging of the crustal structure is required.This can be achieved by increasing the number of receiver functions(RFs)recorded by the seismic stations in northern Egypt and the southeastern Mediterranean.Data handling and processing should also be automated to increase process efficiency.In this study,we developed a capsule neural network for automated selection of RFs.The model was trained on a dataset containing RFs(both selected and unselected)from five broadband stations in northern Egypt.Stations SLM,SIWA,KOT,NBNS,and NKL are located in the unstable shelf region of Egypt,where limited knowledge of the deep crustal structure is available.The proposed capsule neural network achieved an average precision of 80%on the test set.The automated selection of RFs using a capsule neural network has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of RF analysis,as demonstrated by the stacking test.This could lead to a better understanding of crustal structure and tectonic processes in northern Egypt and the southeastern Mediterranean.

文摘Lactylation is one of the post-translational modifications of proteins,a process in which lactyl residues bind to the lysine residues of proteins.This modification can alter the structure,stability,and function of proteins,which in turn regulates cellular metabolism,aging,and the onset of disease.This review classifies proteins with lactylation effects into histones and non-histone proteins and analyzes their functional roles when lactylation occurs.The in-depth exploration of lactylation is still in its infancy,and many aspects of its regulation,functional significance and therapeutic potential need to be further explored.

文摘In this paper,we provide an alternative proof of the weak type(1,n/n-a)inequality for the fractional maximal operators.By using the discretization technique,we can get the main result,which shows that the weak type(1,n/n-a)bound of M_(α)is at worst 2^(n-a).The weak type(1,n/n-a)bound of M_(α)can be estimated more directly and easily in this method,which is different from the usual ways.

文摘We investigated the effects of high-intensity intermittent cross-training(HIICT)on maximal oxygen uptake(VO_(2)max).The HIICT consisted of alternating intermittent 20-s treadmill running(1^(st),3^(rd),5^(th),and 7^(th) bouts)and 20-s bicycle exercise(2^(nd),4^(th),and 6^(th) bouts)with a 10-s rest period.Each intensity for running and bicycling of the HIICT corresponded to an oxygen demand of~160% and~170%of the VO_(2)max,respectively.Fifteen healthy young males(aged[24±1]yrs)were randomly assigned to training(TG,n?8)and non-training control(CG,n?7)groups.The TG completed this HIICT daily 4 days/week for 6 weeks.Significant group×time interactions were observed for both the running and bicycling VO_(2)max(p<0.001 each).After the training,the VO_(2)max for both running([57.4±4.8]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))and bicycling([50.6±3.7]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))in the TG were significantly higher than those for running([50.1±3.1]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))and bicycling([43.7±3.6]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))in the CG,respectively(p<0.01 each).Post-hoc tests revealed a significant increase in VO_(2)max for running and bicycling in the TG after the HIICT(p<0.001 each)but no significant difference in the CG.These results demonstrated that the newly developed HIICT increases the VO_(2)max for both running and bicycling.

文摘Maximal steered coherence(MSC)is a noteworthy resource measure in the field of quantum information,and it is defined under the framework of coherence measure and the formalism of quantum steering ellipsoids(QSEs).Here,we explore the MSC of a two-qubit X state under the common influences of reservoir and noise.The results disclose that the introduction of auxiliary qubits can give rise to enhancement of the MSC in both the strong and weak coupling regimes.Moreover,more auxiliary qubits can decrease the oscillation period of the MSC,and also suppress the oscillation amplitude of the MSC in the strong coupling regime.In contrast,the increases in auxiliary qubits result in the oscillation of the MSC for the setting of the initially weak coupling regime.Of particular interest is that the improvement effects of more auxiliary qubits on the MSC in the initially weak coupling regime are significantly stronger than that in the initially strong coupling regime.

文摘In this paper,we study asymptotic power series of the composition f(x)=h(g(x)),where g(x)=∑_(n=0)^(∞)b_(n)x^(-n),b_(n)∈R,and h is a given elementary function.The asymptotic expansions have been obtained for the composition with an exponential or logarithmic function.Using the re-cursive method,we present the asymptotic expansions for the composition with seven trigonometric functions,respectively.As an application,the asymptotic expansions of roots of some equations are given.Computational results show that our recursive formula is more efficient than the method of Lagrange's inverse theorem.
