Objective:To explore the application value of a machine learning-based prediction model in assessing the prognosis of septic children in the pediatric intensive care unit(PICU)and provide data support for clinical dec...Objective:To explore the application value of a machine learning-based prediction model in assessing the prognosis of septic children in the pediatric intensive care unit(PICU)and provide data support for clinical decision-making.Methods:A total of 180 septic children admitted to the PICU of a tertiary hospital from January 2020 to December 2024 were selected.They were divided into a control group(90 cases,using traditional scoring methods to predict prognosis)and an observation group(90 cases,using a multivariable model based on machine learning algorithms to predict prognosis)according to the random number table method.General information,laboratory indicators,and clinical interventions were collected.Various models such as Random Forest(RF),Support Vector Machine(SVM),and Logistic Regression(LR)were established.The model performance was evaluated using ROC curve,AUC value,accuracy,sensitivity,and specificity.Results:The machine learning models performed better than traditional scoring methods in predicting the 28-day mortality rate of septic children.Among them,the RF model achieved an AUC value of 0.921,a sensitivity of 85.6%,and a specificity of 88.1%,which were significantly higher than the PIM3 score(AUC 0.762).The prediction accuracy and timeliness of clinical intervention in the observation group were significantly improved,leading to a shortened hospital stay and reduced mortality rate(p<0.05).Conclusion:The prediction model based on machine learning can more accurately assess the prognostic risk of septic children in PICU,showing good clinical application prospects and providing references for individualized treatment and optimal resource allocation.展开更多

The decomposing ra...As an oil-decomposable mixture of two bacteria strains(Bacillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp.), Y3 was isolated after 50 d domestication under the condition that oil was used as the limited carbon source. The decomposing rate by Y3 was higher than that by each separate individual strain, indicating a synergistic effect of the two bacteria. Under the conditions that T=25—40℃,pH=6—8, HRT(Hydraulic retention time)=36 h and the oil concentration at 0.1%, Y3 yielded the highest decomposing rate of 95.7 %. Y3 was also applied in an organic waste treatment machine and a certain rate of activated bacteria was put into the stuffing. A series of tests including humidity, pH, temperature, C/N rate and oil percentage of the stuffing were carried out to check the efficacy of oil-decomposition. Results showed that the oil content of the stuffing with inoculums was only half of that of the control. Furthermore, the bacteria were also beneficial to maintain the stability of the machine operating. Therefore, the bacteria mixture as well as the machines in this study could be very useful for waste treatment.展开更多
In order to address the limited mechanical properties of silicon-based materials,this study designed 12 B-site mixed-valence perovskites with s^(0)+s^(2)electronic configurations.Five machine learning models were used...In order to address the limited mechanical properties of silicon-based materials,this study designed 12 B-site mixed-valence perovskites with s^(0)+s^(2)electronic configurations.Five machine learning models were used to predict the bandgap values of candidate materials,and Cs_(2)AgSbCl_(6)was selected as the optimal light absorbing material.By using first principles calculations under stress and strain,it has been determined that micro-strains can achieve the goals of reducing material strength,enhancing flexible characteristics,directionally adjusting the anisotropy of stress concentration areas,improving thermodynamic properties,and enhancing sound insulation ability without significantly affecting photoelectric properties.According to device simulations,tensile strain can effectively increase the theoretical efficiency of solar cells.This work elucidates the mechanism of mechanical property changes under stress and strain,offering insights into new materials for solar energy conversion and accelerating the development of high-performance photovoltaic devices.展开更多
The Internet of Things(IoT)has been growing over the past few years due to its flexibility and ease of use in real-time applications.The IoT's foremost task is ensuring that there is proper communication among dif...The Internet of Things(IoT)has been growing over the past few years due to its flexibility and ease of use in real-time applications.The IoT's foremost task is ensuring that there is proper communication among different types of applications and devices,and that the application layer protocols fulfill this necessity.However,as the number of applications grows,it is necessary to modify or enhance the application layer protocols according to specific IoT applications,allowing specific issues to be addressed,such as dynamic adaption to network conditions and interoperability.Recently,several IoT application layer protocols have been enhanced and modified according to application requirements.However,no existing survey articles focus on these protocols.In this article,we survey traditional and recent advances in IoT application layer protocols,as well as relevant real-time applications and their adapted application layer protocols for improving performance.As changing the nature of protocols for each application is unrealistic,machine learning offers means of making protocols intelligent and is able to adapt dynamically.In this context,we focus on providing open challenges to drive IoT application layer protocols in such a direction.展开更多
To fundamentally alleviate the excavation chamber clogging during slurry tunnel boring machine(TBM)advancing in hard rock,large-diameter short screw conveyor was adopted to slurry TBM of Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Second Un...To fundamentally alleviate the excavation chamber clogging during slurry tunnel boring machine(TBM)advancing in hard rock,large-diameter short screw conveyor was adopted to slurry TBM of Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Second Undersea Tunnel.To evaluate the discharging performance of short screw conveyor in different cases,the full-scale transient slurry-rock two-phase model for a short screw conveyor actively discharging rocks was established using computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)coupling approach.In the fluid domain of coupling model,the sliding mesh technology was utilized to describe the rotations of the atmospheric composite cutterhead and the short screw conveyor.In the particle domain of coupling model,the dynamic particle factories were established to produce rock particles with the rotation of the cutterhead.And the accuracy and reliability of the CFD-DEM simulation results were validated via the field test and model test.Furthermore,a comprehensive parameter analysis was conducted to examine the effects of TBM operating parameters,the geometric design of screw conveyor and the size of rocks on the discharging performance of short screw conveyor.Accordingly,a reasonable rotational speed of screw conveyor was suggested and applied to Jiaozhou Bay Second Undersea Tunnel project.The findings in this paper could provide valuable references for addressing the excavation chamber clogging during ultra-large-diameter slurry TBM tunneling in hard rock for similar future.展开更多
Selecting the optimal speed for dynamic obstacle avoidance in complex man–machine environments is a challenging problem for mobile robots inspecting hazardous gases.Consideration of personal space is important,especi...Selecting the optimal speed for dynamic obstacle avoidance in complex man–machine environments is a challenging problem for mobile robots inspecting hazardous gases.Consideration of personal space is important,especially in a relatively narrow man–machine dynamic environments such as warehouses and laboratories.In this study,human and robot behaviors in man–machine environments are analyzed,and a man–machine social force model is established to study the robot obstacle avoidance speed.Four typical man–machine behavior patterns are investigated to design the robot behavior strategy.Based on the social force model and man–machine behavior patterns,the fuzzy-PID trajectory tracking control method and the autonomous obstacle avoidance behavior strategy of the mobile robot in inspecting hazardous gases in a relatively narrow man–machine dynamic environment are proposed to determine the optimal robot speed for obstacle avoidance.The simulation analysis results show that compared with the traditional PID control method,the proposed controller has a position error of less than 0.098 m,an angle error of less than 0.088 rad,a smaller steady-state error,and a shorter convergence time.The crossing and encountering pattern experiment results show that the proposed behavior strategy ensures that the robot maintains a safe distance from humans while performing trajectory tracking.This research proposes a combination autonomous behavior strategy for mobile robots inspecting hazardous gases,ensuring that the robot maintains the optimal speed to achieve dynamic obstacle avoidance,reducing human anxiety and increasing comfort in a relatively narrow man–machine environment.展开更多

Therefore, our research mainly focuses on the problems of function allocation between man and machine in man-machine systems, analyses each capability advantage of man and machine according to their respective inherent characteristics and makes a comparison between them. In view of highly uncertain characteristics of decision attribute value in the practical process, we introduce the uncertain linguistic multiple attribute decision making (ULMADM) method in the function allocation process. Meanwhile, we also use the uncertain extended weighted arithmetic averaging (UEWAA) method to determine the automation level range of the operator functions. Then, we eventually estab- lish the automation level of man-machine function allocation by using the multi-attribute decision making algorithm, which is combined by UEWAA and uncertain linguistic hybrid aggregation (ULHA) operators. Finally, an example about function allocation is given, that is, fault diagnosis in the cockpit of civil aircraft. Ransomware,particularly crypto-ransomware,remains a significant cybersecurity challenge,encrypting victim data and demanding a ransom,often leaving the data irretrievable even if payment is made.This study proposes an...Ransomware,particularly crypto-ransomware,remains a significant cybersecurity challenge,encrypting victim data and demanding a ransom,often leaving the data irretrievable even if payment is made.This study proposes an early detection approach to mitigate such threats by identifying ransomware activity before the encryption process begins.The approach employs a two-tiered approach:a signature-based method using hashing techniques to match known threats and a dynamic behavior-based analysis leveraging Cuckoo Sandbox and machine learning algorithms.A critical feature is the integration of the most effective Application Programming Interface call monitoring,which analyzes system-level interactions such as file encryption,key generation,and registry modifications.This enables the detection of both known and zero-day ransomware variants,overcoming limitations of traditional methods.The proposed technique was evaluated using classifiers such as Random Forest,Support Vector Machine,and K-Nearest Neighbors,achieving a detection accuracy of 98%based on 26 key ransomware attributes with an 80:20 training-to-testing ratio and 10-fold cross-validation.By combining minimal feature sets with robust behavioral analysis,the proposed method outperforms existing solutions and addresses current challenges in ransomware detection,thereby enhancing cybersecurity resilience.展开更多

Unstructured data does not have strict structure, therefore, compared with structured information that is more difficult to standardization, with management more difficult. According to these characteristics, the large capacity of unstructured data or using files separately store, is stored in the database index of similar pointer. 文摘To fundamentally alleviate the excavation chamber clogging during slurry tunnel boring machine(TBM)advancing in hard rock,large-diameter short screw conveyor was adopted to slurry TBM of Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Second Undersea Tunnel.To evaluate the discharging performance of short screw conveyor in different cases,the full-scale transient slurry-rock two-phase model for a short screw conveyor actively discharging rocks was established using computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)coupling approach.In the fluid domain of coupling model,the sliding mesh technology was utilized to describe the rotations of the atmospheric composite cutterhead and the short screw conveyor.In the particle domain of coupling model,the dynamic particle factories were established to produce rock particles with the rotation of the cutterhead.And the accuracy and reliability of the CFD-DEM simulation results were validated via the field test and model test.Furthermore,a comprehensive parameter analysis was conducted to examine the effects of TBM operating parameters,the geometric design of screw conveyor and the size of rocks on the discharging performance of short screw conveyor.Accordingly,a reasonable rotational speed of screw conveyor was suggested and applied to Jiaozhou Bay Second Undersea Tunnel project.The findings in this paper could provide valuable references for addressing the excavation chamber clogging during ultra-large-diameter slurry TBM tunneling in hard rock for similar future.

文摘Selecting the optimal speed for dynamic obstacle avoidance in complex man–machine environments is a challenging problem for mobile robots inspecting hazardous gases.Consideration of personal space is important,especially in a relatively narrow man–machine dynamic environments such as warehouses and laboratories.In this study,human and robot behaviors in man–machine environments are analyzed,and a man–machine social force model is established to study the robot obstacle avoidance speed.Four typical man–machine behavior patterns are investigated to design the robot behavior strategy.Based on the social force model and man–machine behavior patterns,the fuzzy-PID trajectory tracking control method and the autonomous obstacle avoidance behavior strategy of the mobile robot in inspecting hazardous gases in a relatively narrow man–machine dynamic environment are proposed to determine the optimal robot speed for obstacle avoidance.The simulation analysis results show that compared with the traditional PID control method,the proposed controller has a position error of less than 0.098 m,an angle error of less than 0.088 rad,a smaller steady-state error,and a shorter convergence time.The crossing and encountering pattern experiment results show that the proposed behavior strategy ensures that the robot maintains a safe distance from humans while performing trajectory tracking.This research proposes a combination autonomous behavior strategy for mobile robots inspecting hazardous gases,ensuring that the robot maintains the optimal speed to achieve dynamic obstacle avoidance,reducing human anxiety and increasing comfort in a relatively narrow man–machine environment.

文摘Function allocation is one of the necessary stages in the design course of man-machine systems since appropriate function allocation makes the whole system more effective, reliable and inexpensive. Therefore, our research mainly focuses on the problems of function allocation between man and machine in man-machine systems, analyses each capability advantage of man and machine according to their respective inherent characteristics and makes a comparison between them. In view of highly uncertain characteristics of decision attribute value in the practical process, we introduce the uncertain linguistic multiple attribute decision making (ULMADM) method in the function allocation process. Meanwhile, we also use the uncertain extended weighted arithmetic averaging (UEWAA) method to determine the automation level range of the operator functions. Then, we eventually estab- lish the automation level of man-machine function allocation by using the multi-attribute decision making algorithm, which is combined by UEWAA and uncertain linguistic hybrid aggregation (ULHA) operators. Finally, an example about function allocation is given, that is, fault diagnosis in the cockpit of civil aircraft. The final result of the example demonstrates that the proposed method about function allocation is feasible and effective.

文摘Linear machines(LMs)produce linear motion without any intermediate transmission mechanisms,thus the whole electromechanical system has simple structure and its efficiency is high.Because of such merits,linear machines have been studied for a long time and rapidly developed in recent years.Due to the characteristic of open structure,linear machines have more diversity than rotary machines in terms of machine topologies.Accounting for the wide applications of linear machines,e.g.Maglev train,precision machine tools,semiconductor processing device,automatic equipment,logistic transport line,ropeless lifter,compressor,etc.,this paper reviews the most applied linear machines including machine topologies,operating principle and features.In addition,the influence of end effects and the corresponding reduction methods are also summarized.Finally,several commercial applications are exemplified.

According to the characters of digital manufacturing and the practical applications of ultra-precision machining,the process of digital ultra-precision machining and its technical contents were presented in this paper. In the conclusions,it was stated that the digitalization of ultra-precision machining will be an economical and efficient way for the production of new sorts of optical workpieces.

文摘Ransomware,particularly crypto-ransomware,remains a significant cybersecurity challenge,encrypting victim data and demanding a ransom,often leaving the data irretrievable even if payment is made.This study proposes an early detection approach to mitigate such threats by identifying ransomware activity before the encryption process begins.The approach employs a two-tiered approach:a signature-based method using hashing techniques to match known threats and a dynamic behavior-based analysis leveraging Cuckoo Sandbox and machine learning algorithms.A critical feature is the integration of the most effective Application Programming Interface call monitoring,which analyzes system-level interactions such as file encryption,key generation,and registry modifications.This enables the detection of both known and zero-day ransomware variants,overcoming limitations of traditional methods.The proposed technique was evaluated using classifiers such as Random Forest,Support Vector Machine,and K-Nearest Neighbors,achieving a detection accuracy of 98%based on 26 key ransomware attributes with an 80:20 training-to-testing ratio and 10-fold cross-validation.By combining minimal feature sets with robust behavioral analysis,the proposed method outperforms existing solutions and addresses current challenges in ransomware detection,thereby enhancing cybersecurity resilience.

文摘With the improvement of coal mining speed and mechanization level in China,traditional tunnel boring methods can no longer meet the actual needs.In order to solve the problems of low efficiency,high labor intensity,slow tunnel boring speed,bad working environment and poor safety in traditional tunnel boring,on the basis of analyzing the development and application of coal roadway tunnel boring equipment at home and abroad,complete equipment for high-speed tunnel boring and bolting machines was developed by using the integrated technology of tunnel boring and bolting.The complete equipment for high-speed tunnel boring and bolting machines has the functions of tunnel boring and bolting synchronization,once-tunneling,negative pressure dust removal,digital guidance,independent cutting feed,digital cutting,safety monitoring and data interaction,which has the advantages of safety in use,reliability and efficiency.
文摘In this paper, we conduct research on the structured data mining algorithm and applications on machine learning field. Various fields due to the advancement of informatization and digitization, a lot of multi-source and heterogeneous data distributed storage, in order to achieve the sharing, we must solve from the storage management to the interoperability of a series of mechanism, the method and implementation technology. Unstructured data does not have strict structure, therefore, compared with structured information that is more difficult to standardization, with management more difficult. According to these characteristics, the large capacity of unstructured data or using files separately store, is stored in the database index of similar pointer. Under this background, we propose the new idea on the structured data mining algorithm that is meaningful.
文摘A digital man-machine interaction system controlled by communications between two processors of TMS320F240 and AT98C2051 was researched in the paper. The system is easy to set and modify welding process parameters by keyboards, and display information of welding site by LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). As one part of multi-task system about TIG welding machine, the coordination of man-machine interaction system with other tasks is the main point to the stability and reliability of its operation. Experiments result indicates that the system is stable, operation-flexible, high precision, and anti-interfering.
