The aim is to identify the components of computerized HIS and their relationship to administrative decisions at the main referral hospitals for Sana’a city. Method: This applied research is a descriptive, cross-sectional study in which the HIS of 7 hospitals affiliated with Sana’a city hospitals during “2017-2020”, was evaluated based on Self-administered questionnaires. Data were collected by using Self-administered questionnaires and analyzed in SPSS 16 by using descriptive statistics. Results: A total of 626 users (95.7%) had responded. 73%, 75%, 69%, 70%, 71% of users mentioned that resources were available, for physical, software, human, organizational, and decision computerized HIS, respectively. The study showed a strong relationship between computerized information systems with their physical, software, human and organizational components, and medical and administrative decisions. While the study showed the absence of a relationship between demographic factors and computerized information systems with their hardware, software, human and organizational components, medical and administrative decisions, except for gender with organizational components, age, qualification with hardware and software components, and years of experience with all study variables. Conclusion: The application of HIS at hospitals in decision-making has several challenges, including the lack of updating of hardware and software components Furthermore, the absence of specific, focusing on developing their technical staffs, and mobilizing financial resources to achieve implementation properly. Therefore, establishing the technical management with clear roles and tasks with multi-disciplinary, and increasing the support of the administrative leadership in the process of implementing HIS are recommended.展开更多

This study analyzes the User Interface(UI)and User Experience(UX)of information systems that provide local government information.The systems analyzed are the Local Administrative Comprehensive Information Disclosure ...This study analyzes the User Interface(UI)and User Experience(UX)of information systems that provide local government information.The systems analyzed are the Local Administrative Comprehensive Information Disclosure System(Zheripan),the Integrated Local Financial Disclosure System(Qinching Online),and the Local Regulations Information System(12348 Zhejiang Legal Network).The Local Administrative Comprehensive Information Disclosure System offers public service and personnel information,while the Integrated Local Financial Disclosure System provides financial information,and the Local Regulations Information System offers legal information as its main content.The analysis framework utilized three elements:objective data,psychological factors,and heuristic evaluation.The results of the first objective data analysis show that approximately 70%of visits to Zheripan and Qinching Online are through search,and the time spent on the homepage is short.In contrast,about 70%of visits to the 12348 Zhejiang Legal Network are direct visits,with users browsing multiple pages with a clear purpose.In terms of data provision methods,Zheripan provides two types of data in three formats,Qinching Online offers 28 types of data in five formats,and 12348 Zhejiang Legal Network provides one type of information in a single format.The second psychological factor analysis found that all three websites had a number of menus suitable for short-term cognitive capacity.However,only one of the sites had a layout that considered the user’s eye movement.Finally,the heuristic evaluation revealed that most of the evaluation criteria were not met.While the design is relatively simple and follows standards,feedback for users,error prevention,and help options were lacking.Moreover,the user-specific usability was low,and the systems remained at the information-providing level.Based on these findings,both short-term and long-term improvement measures for creating an interactive system beyond simple information disclosure are proposed.展开更多

Information extraction(IE)aims to automatically identify and extract information about specific interests from raw texts.Despite the abundance of solutions based on fine-tuning pretrained language models,IE in the con...Information extraction(IE)aims to automatically identify and extract information about specific interests from raw texts.Despite the abundance of solutions based on fine-tuning pretrained language models,IE in the context of fewshot and zero-shot scenarios remains highly challenging due to the scarcity of training data.Large language models(LLMs),on the other hand,can generalize well to unseen tasks with few-shot demonstrations or even zero-shot instructions and have demonstrated impressive ability for a wide range of natural language understanding or generation tasks.Nevertheless,it is unclear,whether such effectiveness can be replicated in the task of IE,where the target tasks involve specialized schema and quite abstractive entity or relation concepts.In this paper,we first examine the validity of LLMs in executing IE tasks with an established prompting strategy and further propose multiple types of augmented prompting methods,including the structured fundamental prompt(SFP),the structured interactive reasoning prompt(SIRP),and the voting-enabled structured interactive reasoning prompt(VESIRP).The experimental results demonstrate that while directly promotes inferior performance,the proposed augmented prompt methods significantly improve the extraction accuracy,achieving comparable or even better performance(e.g.,zero-shot FewNERD,FewNERD-INTRA)than state-of-theart methods that require large-scale training samples.This study represents a systematic exploration of employing instruction-following LLM for the task of IE.It not only establishes a performance benchmark for this novel paradigm but,more importantly,validates a practical technical pathway through the proposed prompt enhancement method,offering a viable solution for efficient IE in low-resource settings.展开更多
With the purpose to smooth the way of a correct understanding of information concepts and their evolution,in this paper,is discussed the evolution and development of the concept of information in biological systems,sh...With the purpose to smooth the way of a correct understanding of information concepts and their evolution,in this paper,is discussed the evolution and development of the concept of information in biological systems,showing that this concept was intuitively perceived even since ancient times by our predecessors,and described according to their language level of that times,but the crystallization of the real meaning of information is an achievement of our nowadays,by successive contribution of various scientific branches and personalities of the scientific community of the world,leading to a modern description/modeling of reality,in which information plays a fundamental role.It is shown that our reality can be understood as a contribution of matter/energy/information and represented/discussed as the model of the Universal Triangle of Reality(UTR),where various previous models can be suggestively inserted,as a function of their basic concern.The modern concepts on information starting from a theoretic experiment which would infringe the thermodynamics laws and reaching the theory of information and modern philosophic concepts on the world structuration allow us to show that information is a fundamental component of the material world and of the biological structures,in correlation with the structuration/destructuration processes of matter,involving absorption/release of information.Based on these concepts,is discussed the functionality of the biologic structures and is presented the informational model of the human body and living structures,as a general model of info-organization on the entire biological scale,showing that a rudimentary proto-consciousness should be operative even at the low-scale biological systems,because they work on the same principles,like the most developed bio-systems.The operability of biologic structures as informational devices is also pointed out.展开更多

In making a large-scale and diverse sign language dataset, some sign language data qualities are not up to standard. This paper proposes a two information streams transformer(TIST) model to judge whether the quality of sign language data is qualified. To verify that TIST effectively improves sign language recognition(SLR), we make two datasets, the screened dataset and the unscreened dataset. In this experiment, this paper uses visual alignment constraint(VAC) as the baseline model. The experimental results show that the screened dataset can achieve better word error rate(WER) than the unscreened dataset.展开更多

In addition, some special cases in biology, such as, although the scrapie prion is irreversibly inactivated by alkali, five procedures with more specificity for modifying nucleic acids failed to cause inactivation and when a resting cell is activated by some factors and division occurs, protein synthesis has begun before DNA synthesis etc., are also very difficult to explain clearly by the central dogma. A broad outline of a mechanism for reverse translation can easily be 'designed', based on the normal translation process, and this serves both to prove that there is no fundamental theoretical reason for the central dogma, and to illustrate why the redundancy of genetic code is not a problem.This paper, based on some previous research work of authors, from the view of cybernetics, information theory and theoretical biology, explored the possibility of protein as a genetic information carrier, the probable pairing ways between ammo acids-codons, and the direction of genetic information flows etc., at theory, by comparing and analyzing theoretically the characteristics of information carriers existing in DNA and protein. The authors inferred that perhaps protein may join the informational transferring as a genetic information carrier; the direction of genetic information flows, besides the way described by the central dogma, seem also to have another type, that is, genetic information flowing from protein - DNA (RNA) - protein, which also includes the genetic information flow in the central dogma. In this paper,there are discussed the informational functions of the living structures,analyzing the properties of the simplest eukaryotic cell as an example of a structural unit of the living unicellular and multicel...In this paper,there are discussed the informational functions of the living structures,analyzing the properties of the simplest eukaryotic cell as an example of a structural unit of the living unicellular and multicellular systems.The initiation of this analysis starts from an older example of an imaginary mechanism,particularly that described by the Maxwell’s demon experiment,which along the history of the information development concepts accompanied the philosophic vision on the structuration of matter and of the living entities,showing that these are actually the result of the intervention of information on the matter available substrate.Particularly,it is shown that the deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)structure is appropriate to store a large quantity of structural information,allowing the transfer of this information by transcription and translation mechanisms to proteins,which act as(re)structuration/transmission informational agents,or the generation of a new cellular daughter structure by a replication process.On the basis of the theory of information in communication channels,applicable also in biological systems,it was discussed the followed line for the evaluation of the quantity of structural information in various cells,demonstrating the evolution of organism complexity by the increase of the structural information quantity from unicellular(bacterium)to human cell.Applying a natural strategy of entropy lowering mainly by heat elimination,folding protein structuration and compartmentalization on the evolutionary scale,the living structures act as dynamic entities assuring their self-organizational structure by a permanent change of matter,energy and information with the environment in an efficient way,following a negative entropic process by internal structuration,similarly with Maxwell’s demon work.It is shown that to assure such a communication with external and internal intracellular structure,it was necessary the development of an own info-operational system of communication and decision,in which the operational“Yes/No”decisional binary(Bit)unit is essential.These revolutionary results show that the cell unit complies with the similar informational functions like the multicellular structure of the human body,organized in seven-type informational components,allowing the informational modeling of the activity of the living biologic structures and the opening of a shortcutting way to mimic the biologic functions in artificial cells.展开更多
Purpose: The aim of this paper is to develop a standardized and reliable measurement tool for assessing information-seeking behavior of undergraduate students.Design/methodology/approach: Based on information literacy...Purpose: The aim of this paper is to develop a standardized and reliable measurement tool for assessing information-seeking behavior of undergraduate students.Design/methodology/approach: Based on information literacy and information-seeking behavior theories, expert advice and students' interview, items of undergraduates' informationseeking behavior indicators were selected. With the analysis of homogeneity reliability, item analysis and factor analysis, this study constructs an assessment system to evaluate reliability and validity of the scale.Findings: The information-seeking behavior scale for undergraduates has divided undergraduates' information-seeking behavior into seven dimensions, which include 46 items. The reliability analysis of Cronbach's α was 0.910, and the coefficient of split-half reliability was0.817. The results of factor analysis showed that Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin(KMO) was 0.864,which indicates 55.536% of the total variation could be explained by the above seven dimensions.Research limitations: Due to a small sample size and limited sample distribution, further research need be conducted in an expanded sample size in order to explore the application scope of this evaluation system; in addition, the stability of the scale also need be confirmed.Practical implications: The paper sets up an information-seeking behavior evaluation system for undergraduates and explores the characteristics of their information-seeking behavior.This study provides guidance for the development of future information literacy education and the improvement of the information literacy level of undergraduates.Originality/value: An information-seeking behavior scale for undergraduates has been developed, which comprehensively covers information need, information source, information evaluation, information retrieval, information management, information utilization and information morality. The scale is proved to have good reliability, validity, popularity anddiscrimination that it is qualified to be an assessment tool of information-seeking behavior for Chinese undergraduates.展开更多
Our study aims to take a closer look at China's current information literacy(IL) program standards at secondary schools and to analyze their level of success and/or failures in a comparative way with those of the ...Our study aims to take a closer look at China's current information literacy(IL) program standards at secondary schools and to analyze their level of success and/or failures in a comparative way with those of the United States in terms of fulfilling their each other's mission-oriented mandates. Our research findings show that China's current IL standards of high schools contain a disproportionate emphasis on information technology(IT). Moreover, the stipulations of these IL standards are narrowly construed and without being solidly grounded on a broad and comprehensive educational perspective. We also suggest that there are two underlying causes for this set of unsound IL standards in China.Firstly, there is a lack of collaboration between two major competing forces engaged in the curricular development and research of IL in China: Those professionals in educational IT discipline vis-à-vis those in Library and Information Science. Secondly, library professionals have a very limited influence on major socio-cultural policies, even at their own institutions. As a result, this paper recommends the following three possible measures,which may help remedy this situation strategically: 1) Establishing a set of new IL curriculum standards based on an IL-centered educational perspective; 2) establishing a teacher-librarian's training program to promote school librarians' role in IL education; and 3) strengthening the research and development of an online IL education program and an accompanied evaluation mechanism.展开更多

We select some questionnaires from the third round of High-performance manufacturing (HPM) data to construct the construct, verify the reliability and validity of the construct, extract principal components, and analyze the mediating effect by using multiple chain linear regression and structural equation model. The results show that SMIS customization has a significant impact on its performance, and this effect works through its flexibility. More specifically, it is the multiple chain mediation effect composed of data flexibility, process flexibility and system flexibility. The importance of SMIS customization and flexibility to the organization is made clear, which helps practitioners understand the internal mechanism that affects SMIS performance, so as to use limited resources to improve system performance.展开更多

It has always been a challenge to quantitatively analyze the function and effect of information flow through command, control, communications, computer, kill, intelligence,surveillance, reconnaissance (C4KISR) system. In this work, we propose a framework of force of information influence and the methods for calculating the force of information influence between C4KISR nodes of sensing, intelligence processing,decision making and fire attack. Specifically, the basic concept of force of information influence between nodes in C4KISR system is formally proposed and its mathematical definition is provided. Then, based on the information entropy theory, the model of force of information influence between C4KISR system nodes is constructed. Finally, the simulation experiments have been performed under an air defense and attack scenario. The experimental results show that, with the proposed force of information influence framework, we can effectively evaluate the contribution of information circulation through different C4KISR system nodes to the corresponding tasks. Our framework of force of information influence can also serve as an effective tool for the design and dynamic reconfiguration of C4KISR system architecture.展开更多

文摘With the growing advancement of wireless communication technologies,WiFi-based human sensing has gained increasing attention as a non-intrusive and device-free solution.Among the available signal types,Channel State Information(CSI)offers fine-grained temporal,frequency,and spatial insights into multipath propagation,making it a crucial data source for human-centric sensing.Recently,the integration of deep learning has significantly improved the robustness and automation of feature extraction from CSI in complex environments.This paper provides a comprehensive review of deep learning-enhanced human sensing based on CSI.We first outline mainstream CSI acquisition tools and their hardware specifications,then provide a detailed discussion of preprocessing methods such as denoising,time–frequency transformation,data segmentation,and augmentation.Subsequently,we categorize deep learning approaches according to sensing tasks—namely detection,localization,and recognition—and highlight representative models across application scenarios.Finally,we examine key challenges including domain generalization,multi-user interference,and limited data availability,and we propose future research directions involving lightweight model deployment,multimodal data fusion,and semantic-level sensing.

文摘With the development of smart cities and smart technologies,parks,as functional units of the city,are facing smart transformation.The development of smart parks can help address challenges of technology integration within urban spaces and serve as testbeds for exploring smart city planning and governance models.Information models facilitate the effective integration of technology into space.Building Information Modeling(BIM)and City Information Modeling(CIM)have been widely used in urban construction.However,the existing information models have limitations in the application of the park,so it is necessary to develop an information model suitable for the park.This paper first traces the evolution of park smart transformation,reviews the global landscape of smart park development,and identifies key trends and persistent challenges.Addressing the particularities of parks,the concept of Park Information Modeling(PIM)is proposed.PIM leverages smart technologies such as artificial intelligence,digital twins,and collaborative sensing to help form a‘space-technology-system’smart structure,enabling systematic management of diverse park spaces,addressing the deficiency in park-level information models,and aiming to achieve scale articulation between BIM and CIM.Finally,through a detailed top-level design application case study of the Nanjing Smart Education Park in China,this paper illustrates the translation process of the PIM concept into practice,showcasing its potential to provide smart management tools for park managers and enhance services for park stakeholders,although further empirical validation is required.
文摘Information has two aspects. One aspect is the objective one; another aspect is the subjective one. Shannon has discussed the objective aspect of information in information theory. But the subjective aspect of information has not been fully discussed. Someone use “Bayesian approaches” to evaluate the value of information. But in some cases it does not meet the information user's need. This paper is focus on the subjective aspect of objectively measurable information and gives formal definitions for information, information utility, and marginal information utility, normalized calculation of information utility. The information discussed in the paper has interdisciplinary nature. This work can be the foundation of many application areas.
文摘This study analyzes the User Interface(UI)and User Experience(UX)of information systems that provide local government information.The systems analyzed are the Local Administrative Comprehensive Information Disclosure System(Zheripan),the Integrated Local Financial Disclosure System(Qinching Online),and the Local Regulations Information System(12348 Zhejiang Legal Network).The Local Administrative Comprehensive Information Disclosure System offers public service and personnel information,while the Integrated Local Financial Disclosure System provides financial information,and the Local Regulations Information System offers legal information as its main content.The analysis framework utilized three elements:objective data,psychological factors,and heuristic evaluation.The results of the first objective data analysis show that approximately 70%of visits to Zheripan and Qinching Online are through search,and the time spent on the homepage is short.In contrast,about 70%of visits to the 12348 Zhejiang Legal Network are direct visits,with users browsing multiple pages with a clear purpose.In terms of data provision methods,Zheripan provides two types of data in three formats,Qinching Online offers 28 types of data in five formats,and 12348 Zhejiang Legal Network provides one type of information in a single format.The second psychological factor analysis found that all three websites had a number of menus suitable for short-term cognitive capacity.However,only one of the sites had a layout that considered the user’s eye movement.Finally,the heuristic evaluation revealed that most of the evaluation criteria were not met.While the design is relatively simple and follows standards,feedback for users,error prevention,and help options were lacking.Moreover,the user-specific usability was low,and the systems remained at the information-providing level.Based on these findings,both short-term and long-term improvement measures for creating an interactive system beyond simple information disclosure are proposed.

文摘In this work,general definition and meaning of knowledge,information,data and symbol are expressed generally/specifically,and the differences/relationships between them are briefly discussed.The general definition of system is briefly interpreted,and the semantic contents of the concept“system”expressed with nine perspectives generally.The meaning and importance of philosophy of information are then defined according to the general approaches.Some of the important philosophers of information and their professional interests are evaluated.The meaning and importance of mind,and philosophy of mind are discussed due to general approaches.Some of the philosophers of mind and their interests are evaluated and compared with a table.Systems philosophy is defined in line with general approaches,and its relationships with four main areas are stated.The new perspective of philosophy is then defined by the author generally,and the eight basic branches of philosophy and hybrid philosophy,along with their relevant theories,are briefly outlined.R-Philosophy,R-Science,R-Information,R-Mind,and R-System new disciplines are shortly expressed.New perspective for philosophy of information is defined as complementary branch with other seven basic philosophies.Types of information due to method,size,and content are given with a table.The 23 sub-branches of philosophy of information are defined generally/specifically.Philosophy of basic senses and some other branches are new defined,and new perspectives for philosophy of mind and for some other branches are expressed specifically.18 hybrid philosophies for information are defined,and their relations with philosophy of information explained generally/specifically.General disciplines and concepts about information are defined shortly,and information science(s),2D-6D hybrid information sciences,information system(s),and information&communication systems are given with details.New perspective for philosophy of system is defined,and types of system due to methods,size,and content are given with a table.Hybrid philosophies for systems,and some disciplines and concepts about systems are shortly outlined.Systems science(s)are defined due to four categories and each of these categories is explained with detailed tables.Hybrid systems defined by the author are shortly interpreted.

文摘Information extraction(IE)aims to automatically identify and extract information about specific interests from raw texts.Despite the abundance of solutions based on fine-tuning pretrained language models,IE in the context of fewshot and zero-shot scenarios remains highly challenging due to the scarcity of training data.Large language models(LLMs),on the other hand,can generalize well to unseen tasks with few-shot demonstrations or even zero-shot instructions and have demonstrated impressive ability for a wide range of natural language understanding or generation tasks.Nevertheless,it is unclear,whether such effectiveness can be replicated in the task of IE,where the target tasks involve specialized schema and quite abstractive entity or relation concepts.In this paper,we first examine the validity of LLMs in executing IE tasks with an established prompting strategy and further propose multiple types of augmented prompting methods,including the structured fundamental prompt(SFP),the structured interactive reasoning prompt(SIRP),and the voting-enabled structured interactive reasoning prompt(VESIRP).The experimental results demonstrate that while directly promotes inferior performance,the proposed augmented prompt methods significantly improve the extraction accuracy,achieving comparable or even better performance(e.g.,zero-shot FewNERD,FewNERD-INTRA)than state-of-theart methods that require large-scale training samples.This study represents a systematic exploration of employing instruction-following LLM for the task of IE.It not only establishes a performance benchmark for this novel paradigm but,more importantly,validates a practical technical pathway through the proposed prompt enhancement method,offering a viable solution for efficient IE in low-resource settings.
文摘With the purpose to smooth the way of a correct understanding of information concepts and their evolution,in this paper,is discussed the evolution and development of the concept of information in biological systems,showing that this concept was intuitively perceived even since ancient times by our predecessors,and described according to their language level of that times,but the crystallization of the real meaning of information is an achievement of our nowadays,by successive contribution of various scientific branches and personalities of the scientific community of the world,leading to a modern description/modeling of reality,in which information plays a fundamental role.It is shown that our reality can be understood as a contribution of matter/energy/information and represented/discussed as the model of the Universal Triangle of Reality(UTR),where various previous models can be suggestively inserted,as a function of their basic concern.The modern concepts on information starting from a theoretic experiment which would infringe the thermodynamics laws and reaching the theory of information and modern philosophic concepts on the world structuration allow us to show that information is a fundamental component of the material world and of the biological structures,in correlation with the structuration/destructuration processes of matter,involving absorption/release of information.Based on these concepts,is discussed the functionality of the biologic structures and is presented the informational model of the human body and living structures,as a general model of info-organization on the entire biological scale,showing that a rudimentary proto-consciousness should be operative even at the low-scale biological systems,because they work on the same principles,like the most developed bio-systems.The operability of biologic structures as informational devices is also pointed out.

文摘Sign language dataset is essential in sign language recognition and translation(SLRT). Current public sign language datasets are small and lack diversity, which does not meet the practical application requirements for SLRT. However, making a large-scale and diverse sign language dataset is difficult as sign language data on the Internet is scarce. In making a large-scale and diverse sign language dataset, some sign language data qualities are not up to standard. This paper proposes a two information streams transformer(TIST) model to judge whether the quality of sign language data is qualified. To verify that TIST effectively improves sign language recognition(SLR), we make two datasets, the screened dataset and the unscreened dataset. In this experiment, this paper uses visual alignment constraint(VAC) as the baseline model. The experimental results show that the screened dataset can achieve better word error rate(WER) than the unscreened dataset.
文摘The 'central dogma 'of molecular biology indicated that the direction of the genetic information flow is from DNA - RNA - protein. However, up to now, the central dogma has not obtained a sufficient theoretical support from cybernetics and information theory. In addition, some special cases in biology, such as, although the scrapie prion is irreversibly inactivated by alkali, five procedures with more specificity for modifying nucleic acids failed to cause inactivation and when a resting cell is activated by some factors and division occurs, protein synthesis has begun before DNA synthesis etc., are also very difficult to explain clearly by the central dogma. A broad outline of a mechanism for reverse translation can easily be 'designed', based on the normal translation process, and this serves both to prove that there is no fundamental theoretical reason for the central dogma, and to illustrate why the redundancy of genetic code is not a problem.This paper, based on some previous research work of authors, from the view of cybernetics, information theory and theoretical biology, explored the possibility of protein as a genetic information carrier, the probable pairing ways between ammo acids-codons, and the direction of genetic information flows etc., at theory, by comparing and analyzing theoretically the characteristics of information carriers existing in DNA and protein. The authors inferred that perhaps protein may join the informational transferring as a genetic information carrier; the direction of genetic information flows, besides the way described by the central dogma, seem also to have another type, that is, genetic information flowing from protein - DNA (RNA) - protein, which also includes the genetic information flow in the central dogma. Undoubtedly, the research on problems about the position and roles of protein during the genetic information transferring will have an important effect on the investigation and development of molecular biology, molecular genetics and gene engineering.
文摘In this paper,there are discussed the informational functions of the living structures,analyzing the properties of the simplest eukaryotic cell as an example of a structural unit of the living unicellular and multicellular systems.The initiation of this analysis starts from an older example of an imaginary mechanism,particularly that described by the Maxwell’s demon experiment,which along the history of the information development concepts accompanied the philosophic vision on the structuration of matter and of the living entities,showing that these are actually the result of the intervention of information on the matter available substrate.Particularly,it is shown that the deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)structure is appropriate to store a large quantity of structural information,allowing the transfer of this information by transcription and translation mechanisms to proteins,which act as(re)structuration/transmission informational agents,or the generation of a new cellular daughter structure by a replication process.On the basis of the theory of information in communication channels,applicable also in biological systems,it was discussed the followed line for the evaluation of the quantity of structural information in various cells,demonstrating the evolution of organism complexity by the increase of the structural information quantity from unicellular(bacterium)to human cell.Applying a natural strategy of entropy lowering mainly by heat elimination,folding protein structuration and compartmentalization on the evolutionary scale,the living structures act as dynamic entities assuring their self-organizational structure by a permanent change of matter,energy and information with the environment in an efficient way,following a negative entropic process by internal structuration,similarly with Maxwell’s demon work.It is shown that to assure such a communication with external and internal intracellular structure,it was necessary the development of an own info-operational system of communication and decision,in which the operational“Yes/No”decisional binary(Bit)unit is essential.These revolutionary results show that the cell unit complies with the similar informational functions like the multicellular structure of the human body,organized in seven-type informational components,allowing the informational modeling of the activity of the living biologic structures and the opening of a shortcutting way to mimic the biologic functions in artificial cells.

文摘Purpose: The aim of this paper is to develop a standardized and reliable measurement tool for assessing information-seeking behavior of undergraduate students.Design/methodology/approach: Based on information literacy and information-seeking behavior theories, expert advice and students' interview, items of undergraduates' informationseeking behavior indicators were selected. With the analysis of homogeneity reliability, item analysis and factor analysis, this study constructs an assessment system to evaluate reliability and validity of the scale.Findings: The information-seeking behavior scale for undergraduates has divided undergraduates' information-seeking behavior into seven dimensions, which include 46 items. The reliability analysis of Cronbach's α was 0.910, and the coefficient of split-half reliability was0.817. The results of factor analysis showed that Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin(KMO) was 0.864,which indicates 55.536% of the total variation could be explained by the above seven dimensions.Research limitations: Due to a small sample size and limited sample distribution, further research need be conducted in an expanded sample size in order to explore the application scope of this evaluation system; in addition, the stability of the scale also need be confirmed.Practical implications: The paper sets up an information-seeking behavior evaluation system for undergraduates and explores the characteristics of their information-seeking behavior.This study provides guidance for the development of future information literacy education and the improvement of the information literacy level of undergraduates.Originality/value: An information-seeking behavior scale for undergraduates has been developed, which comprehensively covers information need, information source, information evaluation, information retrieval, information management, information utilization and information morality. The scale is proved to have good reliability, validity, popularity anddiscrimination that it is qualified to be an assessment tool of information-seeking behavior for Chinese undergraduates.
文摘Our study aims to take a closer look at China's current information literacy(IL) program standards at secondary schools and to analyze their level of success and/or failures in a comparative way with those of the United States in terms of fulfilling their each other's mission-oriented mandates. Our research findings show that China's current IL standards of high schools contain a disproportionate emphasis on information technology(IT). Moreover, the stipulations of these IL standards are narrowly construed and without being solidly grounded on a broad and comprehensive educational perspective. We also suggest that there are two underlying causes for this set of unsound IL standards in China.Firstly, there is a lack of collaboration between two major competing forces engaged in the curricular development and research of IL in China: Those professionals in educational IT discipline vis-à-vis those in Library and Information Science. Secondly, library professionals have a very limited influence on major socio-cultural policies, even at their own institutions. As a result, this paper recommends the following three possible measures,which may help remedy this situation strategically: 1) Establishing a set of new IL curriculum standards based on an IL-centered educational perspective; 2) establishing a teacher-librarian's training program to promote school librarians' role in IL education; and 3) strengthening the research and development of an online IL education program and an accompanied evaluation mechanism.

文摘Ecological monitoring vehicles are equipped with a range of sensors and monitoring devices designed to gather data on ecological and environmental factors.These vehicles are crucial in various fields,including environmental science research,ecological and environmental monitoring projects,disaster response,and emergency management.A key method employed in these vehicles for achieving high-precision positioning is LiDAR(lightlaser detection and ranging)-Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping(SLAM).However,maintaining highprecision localization in complex scenarios,such as degraded environments or when dynamic objects are present,remains a significant challenge.To address this issue,we integrate both semantic and texture information from LiDAR and cameras to enhance the robustness and efficiency of data registration.Specifically,semantic information simplifies the modeling of scene elements,reducing the reliance on dense point clouds,which can be less efficient.Meanwhile,visual texture information complements LiDAR-Visual localization by providing additional contextual details.By incorporating semantic and texture details frompaired images and point clouds,we significantly improve the quality of data association,thereby increasing the success rate of localization.This approach not only enhances the operational capabilities of ecological monitoring vehicles in complex environments but also contributes to improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of ecological monitoring and environmental protection efforts.

文摘Advanced geological prediction is a crucial means to ensure safety and efficiency in tunnel construction.However,diff erent advanced geological forecasting methods have their own limitations,resulting in poor detection accuracy.Using multiple methods to carry out a comprehensive evaluation can eff ectively improve the accuracy of advanced geological prediction results.In this study,geological information is combined with the detection results of geophysical methods,including transient electromagnetic,induced polarization,and tunnel seismic prediction,to establish a comprehensive analysis method of adverse geology.First,the possible main adverse geological problems are determined according to the geological information.Subsequently,various physical parameters of the rock mass in front of the tunnel face can then be derived on the basis of multisource geophysical data.Finally,based on the analysis results of geological information,the multisource data fusion algorithm is used to determine the type,location,and scale of adverse geology.The advanced geological prediction results that can provide eff ective guidance for tunnel construction can then be obtained.
文摘The purpose of this paper is to provide empirical evidence for the validity of the relationship between service-oriented manufacturing information system (SMIS) customization and performance from three aspects: data flexibility, process flexibility and system flexibility. We select some questionnaires from the third round of High-performance manufacturing (HPM) data to construct the construct, verify the reliability and validity of the construct, extract principal components, and analyze the mediating effect by using multiple chain linear regression and structural equation model. The results show that SMIS customization has a significant impact on its performance, and this effect works through its flexibility. More specifically, it is the multiple chain mediation effect composed of data flexibility, process flexibility and system flexibility. The importance of SMIS customization and flexibility to the organization is made clear, which helps practitioners understand the internal mechanism that affects SMIS performance, so as to use limited resources to improve system performance.

文摘The subversive nature of information war lies not only in the information itself, but also in the circulation and application of information. It has always been a challenge to quantitatively analyze the function and effect of information flow through command, control, communications, computer, kill, intelligence,surveillance, reconnaissance (C4KISR) system. In this work, we propose a framework of force of information influence and the methods for calculating the force of information influence between C4KISR nodes of sensing, intelligence processing,decision making and fire attack. Specifically, the basic concept of force of information influence between nodes in C4KISR system is formally proposed and its mathematical definition is provided. Then, based on the information entropy theory, the model of force of information influence between C4KISR system nodes is constructed. Finally, the simulation experiments have been performed under an air defense and attack scenario. The experimental results show that, with the proposed force of information influence framework, we can effectively evaluate the contribution of information circulation through different C4KISR system nodes to the corresponding tasks. Our framework of force of information influence can also serve as an effective tool for the design and dynamic reconfiguration of C4KISR system architecture.
