In millimeter wave(mmWave) multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) systems, hybrid precoding has been widely used to overcome the severe propagation loss. In order to improve the spectrum efficiency with low complexity, we propose a joint hybrid precoding algorithm for single-user mmWave MIMO systems in this paper. By using the concept of equivalent channel, the proposed algorithm skillfully utilizes the idea of alternating optimization to complete the design of RF precoder and combiner. Then, the baseband precoder and combiner are computed by calculating the singular value decomposition of the equivalent channel. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can achieve satisfactory performance with quite low complexity. Moreover, we investigate the effects of quantization on the analog components and find that the proposed scheme is effective even with coarse quantization. 展开更多

The reactions of the four-coordinated macrocyclic copper complex [CuL](ClO4)2(L = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) with NH4VO3 under different conditions gave three inorganic-organic hybrid materials of [CuL][VO3]2·2.33H2O(1), [CuL]3[V(10)O(28)]·8H2O(2) and [Cu L]3[V6O(18)]·8H2O(3). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that three diverse vanadium polyoxoanions, [V6O(18)]6- ring, [V(10)O(28)]6- cluster, and [V(12)O(35)]^10- ring, were isolated from the same reactant NH4VO3 under different conditions. The [CuL]^2+ bridges the [V10O28]6- clusters to form a two-dimensional sheet in 2, and link the [V6O(18)]^6- rings in 1 and [V(12)O(35)]^10- rings in 3 into three-dimensional frameworks, respectively. 展开更多

Ethyl methacrylate (EMA) doped with luminescent ternary terbium complex (Tb(acac) 3·dam) with acetylacetone (Hacac) and diantipylmethane (dam) was incorporated into the microporous silica gel. With the polymerization of EMA, the hybrid material containing Tb(acac) 3·dam was obtained. The hybrid material exhibited good toughness and transparency and higher thermal stability than that of the pure complex and pure polymer matrix. In the range of doping concentration of Tb(acac) 3·dam (0.05%, 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 2.0% and 5.0%), emission intensity increases with the increasing of corresponding doping concentration and concentration quenching effect has not taken place. 展开更多

A novel inorganic-organic hybrid based on isopolyanion,{[Cu2(phen)2(μ-ox)][H2Mo8O26]}·4EtOH·Et2O(1) (phen=phenanthroline,ox=oxalate),was synthesized under open-air mild reaction conditions,and characterized by elemental analysis,IR,ICP,TG and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.The crystal structure belongs to triclinic system with space group Pī and cell parameters:a=1.1075(5) nm,b=1.1608(5) nm,c=1.3333(5) nm,α=91.683(5)o,β=113.996(5)o,γ=112.170(5)o,V=1.4159(10) nm3,Mr=2017.44,Z=1,Dc=2.366 g/cm3 and F(000)=980.0.The structure of hybrid 1 is a 1D chain constructed of alternating octamolybdate isopolyanions [β-(Mo8O26)4-] and oxalato-bridged dinuclear copper complex cations [Cu2(phen)2(μ-ox)]2+.Ultimately,a 3D supramolecular network was formed by hydrogen bond interactions among the adjacent chains.The result shows that hybrid 1 is the first example of inorganic-organic hybrid constructed from isopolyanion and oxalato-bridged dinuclear copper complex fragment (CCDC No.665101). 展开更多

Today's emergence of nano-micro hybrid structures with almost biological complexity is of fundamental interest. Our ability to adapt intelligently to the challenges has ramifications all the way from fundamentally changing research itself, over applications critical to future survival, to posing globally existential dangers. Touching on specific issues such as how complexity relates to the catalytic prowess of multi-metal compounds, we discuss the increasingly urgent issues in nanotechnology also very generally and guided by the motto 'Bio Is Nature's Nanotech'. Technology belongs to macro-evolution; for example integration with artificial intelligence (AI) is inevitable. Darwinian adaptation manifests as integration of complexity, and awareness of this helps in developing adaptable research methods that can find use across a wide range of research. The second half of this work reviews a diverse range of projects which all benefited from 'playful' programming aimed at dealing with complexity. The main purpose of reviewing them is to show how such projects benefit from and fit in with the general, philosophical approach, proving the relevance of the 'big picture' where it is usually disregarded. 展开更多

Minimizing the impact of the mixed uncertainties(i.e.,the aleatory uncertainty and the epistemic uncertainty) for a complex product of compliant mechanism(CPCM) quality improvement signifies a fascinating research topic to enhance the robustness.However, most of the existing works in the CPCM robust design optimization neglect the mixed uncertainties, which might result in an unstable design or even an infeasible design. To solve this issue, a response surface methodology-based hybrid robust design optimization(RSM-based HRDO) approach is proposed to improve the robustness of the quality characteristic for the CPCM via considering the mixed uncertainties in the robust design optimization. A bridge-type amplification mechanism is used to manifest the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The comparison results prove that the proposed approach can not only keep its superiority in the robustness, but also provide a robust scheme for optimizing the design parameters. 展开更多

Polyoxometalates(POMs) with Cd-coordination complexes acting as supporting units are rarely reported. The linkage of the supporting units with inorganic building block(polyanion) is generally established on terminal O-atoms, but scarcely via bridging O-atoms. By introducing liquid small organic molecule(pyridine, C5NH5) as assistant "structure-directing agent", we obtained a novel organic-inorganic hybrid polytungstate,(Hpy)4[Cd(phen)2(P2W18O62)]·nH2O(1, n ≈ 3, py = pyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), under hydrothermal conditions. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows that 1 is the first compound containing an asymmetric heteropolyanion, [Cd(phen)2(P2W18O62)]4–, a Wells-Dawson-type polyanion monosupported by Cd-coordination complex via di-bridging O-atoms. 展开更多

The complex metallic alloy(CMA), Al(76.8)Fe(24), was in-situ synthesized in the Al-based hybrid composite by powder metallurgy technique. The structural analysis by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy,and transmission electron microscopy indicated that the Al(76.8)Fe(24) CMA phase was formed by diffusion of Fe atoms into the Al matrix during the sintering stage. The formation of the CMA phase was mainly determined by the sintering temperature which was just above the eutectic temperature of Al–Fe. Moreover,the fully dense Al-based hybrid composite was obtained and exhibited ultrahigh strength ~1100 MPa,indicating that this method is expected to be effective in producing CMA particle reinforced Al-based hybrid composite. 展开更多

Ternary europium complex with dibenzoylmethane(DBM)and 1,10phenanthroline(phen)was insitu synthesized in thin SiO2/polyvinyl butyral(PVB)hybrid films by a twostep solgel process and characterized by means of fluorescence spectroscopy.The luminescence spectra,fluorescence lifetimes and photostability were all investigated.The results showed that the hybrid films exhibited the characteristic emission bands of the central rare earth Eu3+.In addition,Eu3+presented longer fluorescence lifetime than in an ethanol solution and the complex had a higher photostability in the hybrid film than in the PVB film containing the corresponding pure complex. 展开更多

目的探讨Hybrid手术治疗颅内复杂动脉瘤的围术期护理。方法回顾性分析2011年7月~2012年4月39例行Hybrid手术治疗颅内复杂动脉瘤的39例患者的临床资料,总结动脉瘤发生部位、护理方法、并发症的预防和处理,探讨其护理重点。结果39例患者... 目的探讨Hybrid手术治疗颅内复杂动脉瘤的围术期护理。方法回顾性分析2011年7月~2012年4月39例行Hybrid手术治疗颅内复杂动脉瘤的39例患者的临床资料,总结动脉瘤发生部位、护理方法、并发症的预防和处理,探讨其护理重点。结果39例患者发生脑血管痉挛4例,3例好转出院,1例持续昏迷自动出院;水电解质紊乱9例,经治疗后电解质恢复正常;肺部感染4例,3例经抗感染治疗后痊愈,1例伴发呼吸衰竭死亡;再出血1例,行急诊开颅手术后好转出院。结论压颈试验、血压管理、水电解质紊乱的观察和护理是重点,做好围术期护理能有效改善患者预后和转归。 展开更多

Synthetic clays like Laponite~? and Aminoclay show great potentials in building up the luminescent hybrid materials due to their obvious advantages such as high purity, high dispersibility(or solubility) in water to yield translucent gels and clear aqueous solution. Additionally, their strong adsorption capacity for non-polar molecules or complexes is favorable to the formation of water-soluble and aqueous processable luminescent materials. This feature article summarizes the latest developments in the design and preparation of highly luminescent organicinorganic hybrid materials with excellent aqueous process ability based on lanthanide complexes intercalated synthetic clays. 展开更多

Many single-tower reinforced concrete core wall-steel frame (RCC-SF) buildings have been built in China, but there are no buildings of different-height multi-tower hybrid system. A multi-tower RCC-SF tall building was thus studied because of its structural complexity and irregularity. First, a 1/15 scaled model structure was designed and tested on the shake table under minor, moderate, and major earthquake levels. Then, the dynamic responses of the model structure were interpreted to those of the prototype structure according to the similitude theory. Experimental results demonstrate that, despite the complexity of the structure, the lateral deformation bends as the "bending type" and the RC core walls contribute more than the steel frames to resist seismic loads. The maximum inter-story drift of the complex building under minor earthquakes is slightly beyond the elastic limitation specified in the Chinese code, and meets code requirements under major earthquakes. From the test results some suggestions are provided that could contribute favorable effect on the seismic behavior and the displacement of the building. 展开更多

In order to meet the demand of testability analysis and evaluation for complex equipment under a small sample test in the equipment life cycle, the hierarchical hybrid testability model- ing and evaluation method (HHTME), which combines the testabi- lity structure model (TSM) with the testability Bayesian networks model (TBNM), is presented. Firstly, the testability network topo- logy of complex equipment is built by using the hierarchical hybrid testability modeling method. Secondly, the prior conditional prob- ability distribution between network nodes is determined through expert experience. Then the Bayesian method is used to update the conditional probability distribution, according to history test information, virtual simulation information and similar product in- formation. Finally, the learned hierarchical hybrid testability model (HHTM) is used to estimate the testability of equipment. Compared with the results of other modeling methods, the relative deviation of the HHTM is only 0.52%, and the evaluation result is the most accu rate. 展开更多

The crystal adopts space group Pi with a = 11.800(2), b = 13.437(3), c = 13.685(3) A, V = 1922.5(7) A3, D,. = 3.507 g/cm3, C36H62Cu3N24W12O52, M,. = 4059.92, F(000) = 1837,μ = 18.796 mm-1, Z = 1, R = 0.0579 and wR = 0.1465 for 8734 observed reflections (I 〉 2σ(I)). X-ray crystallography analysis exhibits that the title compound consists of one [H10W12044]6- polyanion and three [Cu(H2biim)2] units. And significant π-π stacking interactions and intermolecular O-H-,.O or N-H.'-O hydrogen-bonding interactions lead to a three-dimensional supramolecular framework. Thermal stability and magnetic property of the complex have also been investigated. 展开更多

A hybrid grid generation technique and a multigrid/parallel algorithm are presented in this paper for turbulence flow simulations over three-dimensional (3D) complex geometries. The hybrid grid generation technique is based on an agglomeration method of anisotropic tetrahedrons. Firstly, the complex computational domain is covered by pure tetrahedral grids, in which anisotropic tetrahedrons are adopted to discrete the boundary layer and isotropic tetrahedrons in the outer field. Then, the anisotropic tetrahedrons in the boundary layer are agglomerated to generate prismatic grids. The agglomeration method can improve the grid quality in boundary layer and reduce the grid quantity to enhance the numerical accuracy and efficiency. In order to accelerate the convergence history, a multigrid/parallel algorithm is developed also based on anisotropic agglomeration approach. The numerical results demonstrate the excellent accelerating capability of this multigrid method. 展开更多
