[Background]High harmonic cavities are widely used in electron storage rings to lengthen thebunch,lower the bunch peak current,thereby reducing the IBS effect,enhancing the Touschek lifetime,as well asproviding Landau damping,which is particularly important for storage rings operating with ultra-low emittance or atlow beam energy.[Purpose]To further increase the bunch length without additional hardware costs,the phasemodulation in a dual-RF system is considered.[Methods]In this paper,turn-by-turn simulations incorporating randomsynchrotron radiation excitation are conducted,and a brief analysis is presented to explain the bunch lengtheningmechanism.[Results]Simulation results reveal that the peak current can be further reduced,thereby mitigating IBSeffects and enhancing the Touschek lifetime.Although the energy spread increases,which tends to reduce thebrightness of higher-harmonic radiation from the undulator,the brightness of the fundamental harmonic can,in fact,beimproved. 展开更多

This paper introduces a novel digital transceiver for the cordless telephone zero (CT0) standard,which uses a digital modulation and demodulation technique to handle the signal instead of the traditional analog meth-od. In the transmitter,a fractional-N phase locked loop (PLL) is utilized to realize the continuous phase frequency shift key (CPFSK) modulation,and a 2 Ts raised cosine (2RC) shaping technique is used to reduce the occupied bandwidth. In the receiver,a novel digital method is proposed to demodulate the 2RC CPFSK signal. This chip is fabricated using an SMIC 0.35μm mixed signal CMOS process with a die size of 2mm × 2mm. With an external low noise amplifier (LNA),the sensitivity of the chip is better than -103dBm. 展开更多

This paper presents a human body communication(HBC)transceiver for wireless body network applications.The transceiver employs on frequency shift keying(FSK)modulation and op-erates in 40 MHz-60 MHz which is the resonant frequency of the human body as an antenna.It achieves high performance and stability through establish passive microstrip line and via models and active device-models.The proposed transceiver is designed and fabricated by FR4 printed cir-cuit board(PCB)process,the transceiver has the ability of configurable data rate up to 2 Mbps and it achieves-86 dBm receiving sensitivity at 2 Mbps data rate.Meanwhile,the transceiver out-put power dynamics range is 34 dB.Furthermore,with a visual interaction interface,the transceiv-er can be agility use in a variety of scenarios.Its measurements are verified on human body.The result shows that the transceiver has ability to send data from person to person by relying on hu-man body antenna radiation.The transceiver shows great prospect in wireless body area networks(WBAN)for telemedicine and emergency communication. 展开更多

在生成式AI、大规模分布式计算推动数据中心流量爆炸式增长的背景下,为满足数据中心向1.6 T网络升级需求,1.6 T OSFP-XD 2×DR4光收发模块的设计与研究至关重要。文章提出一种基于双DSP协同调度架构的创新方案,采用OSFP-XD封装标准... 在生成式AI、大规模分布式计算推动数据中心流量爆炸式增长的背景下,为满足数据中心向1.6 T网络升级需求,1.6 T OSFP-XD 2×DR4光收发模块的设计与研究至关重要。文章提出一种基于双DSP协同调度架构的创新方案,采用OSFP-XD封装标准与PAM4技术,通过8个差分通道实现1.6 Tbit/s的总传输速率。此外,模块内置前向纠错算法与自适应LMS均衡器,保障高速信号处理性能。测试结果显示,模块在0℃,25℃和70℃三种温度条件下,发射端眼图性能稳定,平均光功率、消光比、TDECQ等指标均符合IEEE 802.3dj协议;在常温下,光谱宽度小于0.12 nm,边模抑制比大于30 dB,接收端各通道灵敏度均低于−4.7 dBm,满足协议要求。该模块可广泛应用于AI训练集群、超大规模云平台等场景,为下一代智能网络构建提供重要技术支撑。 展开更多

Diamond based quantum sensing is a fast-emerging field with both scientific and technological significance.The nitrogen–vacancy(NV)center,a crystal defect in diamond,has become a unique object for microwave sensing applications due to its excellent stability,long spin coherence time,and optical properties at ambient condition.In this work,we use diamond NV center as atomic receiver to demodulate on–off keying(OOK)signal transmitted in broad frequency range(2 GHz–14 GHz in a portable benchtop setup).We proposed a unique algorithm of voltage discrimination and demonstrated audio signal transceiving with fidelity above 99%.This diamond receiver is attached to the end of a tapered fiber,having all optic nature,which will find important applications in data transmission tasks under extreme conditions such as strong electromagnetic interference,high temperatures,and high corrosion. 展开更多

Activating Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) in Radio-Frequency (RF) to provide on-demand energy supply to widely deployed Internet of Everything devices is a key to the next-generation energy self-sustainable 6G network. However, Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer (SWIPT) in the same RF bands is challenging. The majority of previous studies compared SWIPT performance to Gaussian signaling with an infinite alphabet, which is impossible to implement in any realistic communication system. In contrast, we study the SWIPT system in a well-known Nakagami-m wireless fading channel using practical modulation techniques with finite alphabet. The attainable rate-energy-reliability tradeoff and the corresponding rationale are revealed for fixed modulation schemes. Furthermore, an adaptive modulation-based transceiver is provided for further expanding the attainable rate-energy-reliability region based on various SWIPT performances of different modulation schemes. The modulation switching thresholds and transmit power allocation at the SWIPT transmitter and the power splitting ratios at the SWIPT receiver are jointly optimized to maximize the attainable spectrum efficiency of wireless information transfer while satisfying the WPT requirement and the instantaneous and average BER constraints. Numerical results demonstrate the SWIPT performance of various fixed modulation schemes in different fading conditions. The advantage of the adaptive modulation-based SWIPT transceiver is validated. 展开更多

为提升FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)高速Serdes通讯稳定性,实时监控其通讯状态,文中设计了一种基于K码控制字符的通讯协议。创建标志用户数据帧起始的动态SOF(Start of Frame)和标志结束的静态EOF(End of Frame)两种K码控制字符... 为提升FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)高速Serdes通讯稳定性,实时监控其通讯状态,文中设计了一种基于K码控制字符的通讯协议。创建标志用户数据帧起始的动态SOF(Start of Frame)和标志结束的静态EOF(End of Frame)两种K码控制字符,有利于通讯的连续性检测。创建TLINK(Transmit Link)、BLINK(Back Link)的K码控制字符,其中TLINK控制字符在Serdes的发送端进行定期发送,接收端收到TLINK控制字符后,控制本方的Serdes发送端优先输出BLINK控制字符进行应答,以建立通讯双方之间的握手关系,有利于通讯的超时和状态检测。校验独立于SOF、EOF之间的用户数据,进行CRC32(Cyclic Redundancy Check32)计算,有利于通讯的误码检测。实验结果表明,该协议可实现对Serdes链路的丢帧数量、误码数量、超时数量及通讯断开时长进行准确监控,最小时间精度为10μs。 展开更多

设计并实验产生了一种混沌脉冲位置宽度调制(CPPWM)的超宽带雷达信号。采用Logistic映射和Tent映射经量化和按位异或预处理后生成两个混沌序列,分别用于调制CPPWM信号的脉冲位置和宽度,且脉冲幅度恒定。最终通过现场可编程门阵列的高速... 设计并实验产生了一种混沌脉冲位置宽度调制(CPPWM)的超宽带雷达信号。采用Logistic映射和Tent映射经量化和按位异或预处理后生成两个混沌序列,分别用于调制CPPWM信号的脉冲位置和宽度,且脉冲幅度恒定。最终通过现场可编程门阵列的高速串行收发器实时输出625 MHz至2.5 GHz范围内带宽可调的CPPWM信号。信号特性分析结果表明该信号不仅具有随机性、宽频带和自相关特性,而且具有准正交性和强抗干扰能力,可作为多输入多输出雷达的正交发射信号集并用于复杂电磁环境中的目标探测。此外,相较于混沌脉冲位置调制信号,CPPWM信号的自相关峰值旁瓣水平平均可提高2.5 dB,提高了探测信噪比。尤其在短相关时长下仍能保持良好的相关性,在保证探测性能的同时缩短数据处理时间。 展开更多

This paper considers a massive single-input multiple-output(SIMO)system,where multiple singleantenna transmitters simultaneously communicate with a receiver equipped with a large number of antennas.Different from the conventional noncoherent transceivers which require a certain level of the statistical information on the channel fading,we propose a joint transceiver design method based on machine learning,requiring a limited number of channel realizations.In the proposed method,the multiple transmitters,the channel,and the receiver are represented with a deep neural network(NN),and an autoencoder is adopted to minimize the end-to-end transmission error probability.Besides,the relationship between the number of training samples and the transmission error probability is analyzed based on the confidence interval method.Simulation results show that the proposed NN-based transceiver achieves lower transmission error probability in typical scenarios,and is more robust against the channel parameters variation compared with the existing methods. 展开更多

This study investigates the negative influence of an eccentric permanent-magnet(PM)design on high-frequency electromagnetic vibration in fractional-slot concentrated-winding(FSCW)PM machines.First,an analytical expression for the sideband current harmonics was derived using the double Fourier series expansion method.Then,the characteristics of the flux-density harmonics are studied from the perspective of the space-time distribution and initial phase relationship.The influence of the eccentric PM design on high-frequency electromagnetic and concentrated forces was studied based on the electromagnetic force modulation effect.Consequently,an eccentric PM design is not conducive to reducing the 2pth-order high-frequency electromagnetic forces.Finally,two FSCW PM machines with conventional and eccentric PM designs are manufactured and tested to verify the theoretical analysis.The results show that the eccentric PM design worsens high-frequency vibrations. 展开更多

The combining microelectronic devices and associated technologies onto a single silicon chip poses a substantial challenge.However,in recent years,the area of silicon photonics has experienced remarkable advancements and notable leaps in performance.The performance of silicon on insulator(SOI)based photonic devices,such as fast silicon optical modulators,photonic transceivers,optical filters,etc.,have been discussed.This would be a step forward in creating standalone silicon photonic devices,strengthening the possibility of single on-chip nanophotonic integrated circuits.Suppose an integrated silicon photonic chip is designed and fabricated.In that case,it might drastically modify these combined photonic component costs,power consumption,and size,bringing substantial,perhaps revolutionary,changes to the next-generation communications sector.Yet,the monolithic integration of photonic and electrical circuitry is a significant technological difficulty.A complicated set of factors must be carefully considered to determine which application will have the best chance of success employing silicon-based integrated product solutions.The processing limitations connected to the current process flow,the process generation(sometimes referred to as lithography node generation),and packaging requirements are a few of these factors to consider.This review highlights recent developments in integrated silicon photonic devices and their proven applications,including but not limited to photonic waveguides,photonic amplifiers and filters,onchip photonic transceivers,and the state-of-the-art of silicon photonic in multidimensional quantum systems.The investigated devices aim to expedite the transfer of silicon photonics from academia to industry by opening the next phase in on-chip silicon photonics and enabling the application of silicon photonic-based devices in various optical systems. 展开更多
