The mean group size was 6.2 in August 2003 and 6.4 in August 2005. Two subadult males disappeared from their natal home range and three newborns were given birth in Group 3 (G3) and G4 during this study. The two adult females in G1, G2 and G3 gave births and/or carried babies but at different times. There was no aggressive or dominating behaviour observed between the two adult females. One floating female was first seen in G3's territory on April 15, 2005. The two resident females interrupted her duet with adult male and chased her. We did not observe adult male chased this floating female and she left G3's territory 10 days later. Sub-adult males often kept distance with the family, and they often sang solo bouts in their natal territory before they dispersed. The sub-adult males and females dispersed from natal territory and two adult resident females rejected the third one, which might were the reasons why the black gibbon groups were polygyny in Dazhaizi.展开更多

Compared with the existing fixed-window-based models, the proposed one is an adaptive window-like model that introduces the perceptual grouping strategy into the IQA model. It works as follows: first,it preprocesses the images by clustering similar pixels into a group to the greatest extent; then the structural similarity is used to compute the similarity of the superpixels between reference and distorted images; finally, it integrates all the similarity of superpixels of an image to yield a quality score. Experimental results on three databases( LIVE, IVC and MICT) showthat the proposed method yields good performance in terms of correlation with human judgments of visual quality.展开更多

文摘Integrated sensing and communication(ISAC),assisted by reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)has emerged as a breakthrough technology to improve the capacity and reliability of 6G wireless network. However,a significant challenge in RIS-ISAC systems is the acquisition of channel state information(CSI),largely due to co-channel interference, which hinders meeting the required reliability standards. To address this issue,a minimax-concave penalty(MCP)-based CSI refinement scheme is proposed. This approach utilizes an element-grouping strategy to jointly estimate the ISAC channel and the RIS phase shift matrix.Unlike previous methods, our scheme exploits the inherent sparsity in RIS-assisted ISAC channels to reduce training overhead, and the near-optimal solution is derived for our studied RIS-ISAC scheme. The effectiveness of the element-grouping strategy is validated through simulation experiments, demonstrating superior channel estimation results when compared to existing benchmarks.

文摘This paper investigates the number of limit cycles in a predator-prey system with group defense, intially introduced by Wolkowicz and later examined by Rothe and Shafer in the 1980’s.Under the assumption of large prey growth, the system reduces to a perturbed singular system, whose limit cycles can be analyzed using geometric singular perturbation methods-primarily through the study of a slow-divergence integral. Our work completes partially the results previously obtained by Li and Zhu and by Hsu.We provide a comprehensive classification of all possible singular cycles capable of generating limit cycles and analyze the slow-divergence integral for the nine distinct types of cycle families that arise in a canard explosion.Based on these findings,we demonstrate that the maximum number of limit cycles emerging from the singular cycles is two in all cases, thereby confirming conjectures posed by Rothe-Shafer and Xiao-Ruan.
文摘This article investigates the time-varying output group formation tracking control(GFTC)problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems(HMASs)under switching topologies. The objective is to design a distributed control strategy that enables the outputs of the followers to form the desired sub-formations and track the outputs of the leader in each subgroup.Firstly, novel distributed observers are developed to estimate the states of the leaders under switching topologies. Then,GFTC protocols are designed based on the proposed observers. It is shown that with the distributed protocol, the GFTC problem for HMASs under switching topologies is solved if the average dwell time associated with the switching topologies is larger than a fixed threshold. Finally,an example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

文摘This paper presents an allowable-tolerance-based group search optimization(AT-GSO),which combines the robust GSO(R-GSO)and the external quality design planning of the Taguchi method.AT-GSO algorithm is used to optimize the heat transfer area of the heat exchanger system. The R-GSO algorithm integrates the GSO algorithm with the Taguchi method, utilizing the Taguchi method to determine the optimal producer in each iteration of the GSO algorithm to strengthen the robustness of the search process and the ability to find the global optima. In conventional parameter design optimization,it is typically assumed that the designed parameters can be applied accurately and consistently throughout usage. However, for systems that are sensitive to changes in design parameters, even minor inaccuracies can substantially reduce overall system performance. Therefore, the permissible variations of the design parameters are considered in the tolerance-optimized design to ensure the robustness of the performance. The optimized design of the heat exchanger system assumes that the system’s operating temperature parameters are specific. However, fixing the systemoperating temperature parameters at a constant value is difficult. This paper assumes that the system operating temperature parameters have an uncertainty error when optimizing the heat transfer area of the heat exchanger system.Experimental results show that the AT-GSO algorithm optimizes the heat exchanger system and finds the optimal operating temperature in the absence of tolerance and under three tolerance conditions.

文摘The field research on five black crested gibbon groups, recently performed at Dazhaizi, Mr. Wuliang, Central Yunnan, China, showed that all groups in the local population consisted of one adult male, two adult females and 2 - 5 sub-adults, juveniles and itfants. The sub-adult males and females dispersed from natal territory and two adult resident females rejected the third one, which might were the reasons why the black gibbon groups were polygyny in Dazhaizi.

文摘To further explore the human visual system( HVS),the perceptual grouping( PG), which has been proven to play an important role in the HVS, is adopted to design an effective image quality assessment( IQA) model. Experimental results on three databases( LIVE, IVC and MICT) showthat the proposed method yields good performance in terms of correlation with human judgments of visual quality.
