Upper bainite transformation ...Based on Kolmgorov-Johnson-Mehl-Avrami analysis, a new bainite kinetics of high strength low alloy steel in fast cooling process was developed by utilizing different experimental methods. Upper bainite transformation morphological evolutions at a cooling rate of 8.3 K/s were directly observed by laser scanning confocal microscopy. This qualitative analysis suggests that bainite packet is more suitable to give a one-dimensional growth model if it is considered as a transformation unit. The nucleation rate of bainite packets in fast cooling process is assumed to give an a priori item. One-dimensional growth model with constant growth rate which is assumed as a function of cooling rate is adopted as well. Thus, the devel- oped new bainite kinetics is simple in expression and contains an adjustable parameter and an empirical pa rameter. Experimental results show upper bainite and lower bainite transformations in fast cooling processes. Their referential phase volume fractions are calculated by the expanded lever rule on the first derivative dilatometer curves. For the similar transformation mechanisms, upper bainite and lower bainite are considered to give the same kinetics. With considering the Nakamura's equation, the bainite kinetics is fitted with experimental data. Results show that bainite volume fractions and bainite transformation rates can be expressed precisely bY the newly developed bainite kinetics.展开更多

In 1st phase, for dyeing S/J cotton knit fabric with green walnut power ferrous sulfate is considered as a mordant. In this study, three different mordanting methods such as pre-, meta-, and post-mordanting are conveyed the dyeing process with the state of metallic mordant and without metallic salt mordants. In 2nd phase, in dyeing for fixation ferrous sulfate was considered as mordants. Furthermore, the analysis and evaluation of each colour dyed material was done through following two terms for instance CIELAB (L*, a*, and b*) and K/S values. According to AATCC test methods, colour fastness to washing, crocking, perspiration of the dyed samples is determined whereas according to the ISO standard, the colour fastness to light was estimated and tested. When dyeing was carried out on S/J cotton knit fabric through considering optimum parameter like at 80°C for 60 min and at pH 4 which showed optimum results. From the results we can see, very good wash fastness was obtained while there is no fading of the colour, whereas the outstanding and moderate level of colour fastness to light and crocking is achieved.展开更多
Based on the concepts of fast polarization, effective electric field and electron impact ionization criterion, the effect of polymer type on electric breakdown strength (EBD) on a nanosecond time scale is investigat...Based on the concepts of fast polarization, effective electric field and electron impact ionization criterion, the effect of polymer type on electric breakdown strength (EBD) on a nanosecond time scale is investigated, and a formula that qualitatively characterizes the relation between the electric breakdown strength and the polymer type is derived. According to this formula, it is found that the electric breakdown strength decreases with an increase in the effective relative dielectric constants of the polymers. By calculating the effective relative dielectric constants for different types of polymers, the theoretical relation for the electric breakdown strengths of common polymers is predicted. To verify the prediction, the polymers of PE (polyethylene), PTFE (polytetrafluoroethelene), PMMA (organic glass) and Nylon are tested with a nanosecond-pulse generator. The experimental result shows EBD (PTFE) 〉 EBD (PMMA) 〉 EBD (Nylon) 〉 EBD (PE). This result is consistent with the theoretical prediction.展开更多
