Factor input structure,environmental policies,and the export quality upgrade:a perspective of heterogeneity 被引量:3

In the analysis of how environmental regulation affects the comparative advantage of trade,existing literature ignores industry's inherent heterogeneity, which draws remarkably different conclusions. In view of this, the paper analyzed the mechanism of environmental regulation on the export quality of different industries from the perspective of factor input structure heterogeneity. Based on the panel data of China's manufacturing industry, the paper used the system generalized method of moments method to examine the heterogeneity influence of environmental regulation on manufacturing export quality. The study found that, first, environmental regulation affected the export quality upgrade of the manufacturing sector through offset effect and compensation effect, and the direction of the impact would mainly depend on the industry's factor input structure. Second, for industries with larger fixed-asset investment(FAI) ratio in the factor input structure, the current environmental regulation policy was not conducive to the export quality upgrading of the industries. However, there was a significant U-shaped dynamic relationship between them. As environmental regulations became stricter, when regulatory stringency went beyond the inflection point, the policy would promote the upgrading of export quality. But for industries with smaller proportion of FAI, environmental regulation exerted a favorable impact on the export quality upgrade, following a J-shaped marginal growth curve.Third, for industries with different factor input structure, their export quality had been effectively upgraded as expected by factors like human capital investment, independent R&D, technology introduction, and foreign direct investment; but raising per capita capital stock and expanding enterprise size did not produce significant direct impact on export quality upgrade. These conclusions remained robust after using different measurement methods and replacing with other variables. Therefore, this paper suggests that governments should take industry heterogeneity into consideration and formulate differentiated hierarchical environmental policies.Besides, they should strengthen the enforcement of the current environmental regulation policies. By doing so, enterprises are forced to improve their technology and product quality so that they can better cope with rising compliance costs, eliminate backward industries, and resolve excess capacity. In this way, the economic structure would be transformed and upgraded from the supply side. 展开更多

Augmentation of PM_(1.0) measurements based on machine learning model and environmental factors

PM_(1.0),particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter smaller than 1.0μm,can adversely affect human health.However,fewer stations are capable of measuring PM_(1.0) concentrations than PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations in real time(i.e.,only 9 locations for PM_(1.0) vs.623 locations for PM2.5 or PM10)in South Korea,making it impossible to conduct a nationwide health risk analysis of PM_(1.0).Thus,this study aimed to develop a PM_(1.0) prediction model using a random forest algorithm based on PM_(1.0) data from the nine measurement stations and various environmental input factors.Cross validation,in which the model was trained in eight stations and tested in the remaining station,achieved an average R^(2) of 0.913.The high R^(2) value achieved undermutually exclusive training and test locations in the cross validation can be ascribed to the fact that all the locations had similar relationships between PM_(1.0) and the input factors,which were captured by our model.Moreover,results of feature importance analysis showed that PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations were the two most important input features in predicting PM_(1.0) concentration.Finally,the model was used to estimate the PM_(1.0) concentrations in 623 locations,where input factors such as PM2.5 and PM10 can be obtained.Based on the augmented profile,we identified Seoul and Ansan to be PM_(1.0) concentration hotspots.These regions are large cities or the center of anthropogenic and industrial activities.The proposed model and the augmented PM_(1.0) profiles can be used for large epidemiological studies to understand the health impacts of PM_(1.0). 展开更多

By means of greycorrelation analysis, this paper deals with the correlation situation among such input factors as the grain sown area, thetotal power of agricultural machinery, the fertilizer utilization volume, the actual irrigation area, the damage area, thenumber of farming labor force, in order to understand the major restricting and driving forces that have affected thegrain output in the recent 23 years. The analysis shows that the grain sown area and fertilizer utilization volume are thetwo most important leading factors that affect grain production in Guizhou Province, while the damage area and the totalpower of the farming-used machines are the following factors. Fertilizer utilization volume and the actual agriculturalmachinery and irrigation area are the two increasingly influential factors that affect grain production. The influence of thefarming labor force upon grain production became less strong. The main measures to increase grain production outputin Guizhou Province are to stabilize the arable land, increase the actual irrigation area, expedite the transfer of thefarming labor force and increase the input of modern agriculture. 展开更多

In order to analyze the relation between agricultural input factors and economic growth in Anhui Province,the evaluation index system of agricultural input is built from the perspectives of subject,object and tools based on grey system theory. The government investment in agricultural science and technology is selected as the index of labor subject,that is labor-related index(X1) ,the total sown area of crops is selected as the index of labor object(X2) ,the investment in rural water and electricity construction is chosen as the index of tools(X3) ,and the GDP of Anhui Province is denoted by X0. According to the relevant data,the improved model of grey correlation analysis is adopted to calculate the correlation among the investment in agricultural water and electricity construction,total sown area of crops,government investment in agricultural science and technology,and the GDP in Anhui Province during 2004-2008. Results show that investment in agricultural science and technology contribute the largest to GDP growth,the increase and change of the total sown area and the investment in rural water and electricity construction have a weak correlation with GDP,they are in a less consistent development trend. On this basis,the government of Anhui Province further proposes to increase the investment in agricultural science and technology,enhance the protection of arable lands,keep the total sown area of crops,and properly maintain the rural water and electricity construction. 展开更多

The results of the analysis show that: (1) The increase of agriculture labor force and financial support played a vital role in the agricultural economic growth in the long term; (2) The increase in agricultural land and capital investment is significant in promoting agricultural economic growth in the short term; (3) Agricultural capital investment and agriculture labor force are the Granger causes of the agricultural economic growth. 展开更多

This article conducts empirical analysis of rice growers' behavior of productive capital input and the influencing factors,using the input-output survey data concerning rice growing by 305 peasant households in 2009 in Huanan County and Huachuan County,Jiamusi City,Heilongjiang Province.I use Logit model to carry out econometric test of factors influencing the possibility of fixed productive investment.The test results show that family size,the proportion of non-agricultural employment,the average educational level of households,farmland area,household farming income,credit level,peasant households' expectation of the minimum purchase price of rice,have significant effect on whether to conduct fixed productive investment,whether there are disasters has no significant effect on the scale of peasant households' productive investment.Then I use Tobit model to carry out econometric test of factors influencing the scale of productive capital input.The results show that family size,the proportion of non-agricultural employment,the average educational level of households,farmland area,household farming income,credit level and family housing value,peasant households' expectation of the minimum purchase price of rice,whether there are disasters,have significant effect on the scale of peasant households' productive investment.On the basis of model test results,in order to promote the rice growers to increase fixed productive input and increase productive capital input,rational recommendations are put forward as follows:raising the minimum purchase price of rice,scaling up rice growing,making every effort to promote the educational level of rice growers,ensuring that the rice growers obtain productive capital input loans timely. 展开更多

工业机器人作为我国抢占科技创新高地的重要抓手,能否释放绿色红利成为一项重要的研究话题。现有文献关于工业机器人应用与绿色转型关系的研究结论未达成一致。研究基于工业机器人应用模式的不同选择,将工业机器人应用分解为应用广度和... 工业机器人作为我国抢占科技创新高地的重要抓手,能否释放绿色红利成为一项重要的研究话题。现有文献关于工业机器人应用与绿色转型关系的研究结论未达成一致。研究基于工业机器人应用模式的不同选择,将工业机器人应用分解为应用广度和应用深度2个维度,探究其对企业绿色化转型的影响及作用机理。结果显示:第一,工业机器人应用广度越大,企业绿色化转型水平越高;工业机器人应用深度越高,企业绿色化转型水平越高;与应用广度相比,工业机器人应用深度的绿色化提升效应更强。第二,工业机器人应用广度和应用深度通过促进企业要素投入集约和产出结构优化,提升绿色化转型水平。第三,企业环境注意力越高,工业机器人应用广度和应用深度对企业绿色化转型的提升作用越强。第四,工业机器人应用广度和应用深度对企业绿色化转型的提升作用存在时间持续性,但应用广度的持续时间更长。研究结论为工业机器人等人工智能技术赋能中国经济绿色发展提供一定的政策启示。 展开更多

On the basis of expounding farmers' behaviors on agricultural technology inputs studied by the foreign scholars; relying on the investigation data of 276 rural households in Deyang City, Sichuan Province and by using the Logistic Regression model, the farmers' behaviors on agricultural technology inputs and the influencing factors on their behaviors are analyzed. The results show the main factors that influence farmers; behaviors on agricultural inputs are whether they have the assistance of agricultural technology personnel; the choices of plantation; non-agricultural income; area of land management; the expectation on land ownership, whether it has township enterprises and the proportion of the non-agricultural labor forces and some other factors. The influencing degree of these factors descends from strong to weak. On the strength of the study results, the countermeasures on increasing local farmers' inputs on agricultural technology are put forward from the aspects of stabilizing rural land property, establishing scientific land transfer mechanism and intensifying the governmental functions of agro-technical station. 展开更多

Based on 266 strong ground motion records, an attenuation relationship was developed for both absolute and relative input energy spectra. The comparison of the two kinds of input energy spectra constructed from the attenuation relationship was made in this paper. The results show that there is little difference between the absolute input energy spectra and relative input energy spectra at the periods of 0.5-1.0 s for elastic systems and at the period of 0.5 s for inelastic systems. The absolute input energy spectra are much larger than relative input energy spectra in very short period range but some less than relative input energy spectra in long period range. It is also found that the ductility factor has a significant effect on both absolute and relative input energy spectra. The absolute input energy spectra increase with the increasing of ductility factor in the period range of less than 0.3 s but decrease in the period range of larger than 0.3 s. The absolute input energy spectra for different ductility factor are almost equivalent at the period about 0.3 s, but for relative input energy spectra, the period is about 0.5 s. The effect of ductility on the relative input energy spectra in the short period range is much larger than that on the absolute input energy spectra, especially on the softer site class. 展开更多

专精特新“小巨人”企业数字化升级能够助力制造业强链补链,使其走上高质量发展快车道,对制造业强国建设具有重要意义。基于2016—2022年相关数据,运用“VHSD-EM”组合评价模型对“小巨人”企业数字化成熟度进行评价分析。结果表明:专... 专精特新“小巨人”企业数字化升级能够助力制造业强链补链,使其走上高质量发展快车道,对制造业强国建设具有重要意义。基于2016—2022年相关数据,运用“VHSD-EM”组合评价模型对“小巨人”企业数字化成熟度进行评价分析。结果表明:专精特新“小巨人”企业数字化成熟度可划分为4个等级,各等级样本企业在行业分布上呈现集聚趋势;先进制造业与传统制造业样本企业数字化成熟度呈现两极分化,基于空间维度的排序如下:中心城市>东南沿海地区>南部地区>西部地区>北部地区,且随时间推移波动较大;政府补贴、财政科技支出、市场竞争强度和企业规模总体上对“小巨人”企业数字化成熟度具有显著影响,但不同数字化成熟度等级样本企业影响因素存在差异。结论可为“小巨人”企业数字化实践提供参考。 展开更多

在当前亟须强化自主创新能力、推进创新驱动发展战略的形势下,本文探讨了国内大循环和国内国际双循环对企业技术创新能力的影响。基于OECD最新的国际投入产出数据,本文科学衡量了2006—2020年中国各行业的国内大循环水平和国际循环水平... 在当前亟须强化自主创新能力、推进创新驱动发展战略的形势下,本文探讨了国内大循环和国内国际双循环对企业技术创新能力的影响。基于OECD最新的国际投入产出数据,本文科学衡量了2006—2020年中国各行业的国内大循环水平和国际循环水平,并进行了实证检验,得出以下主要结论:国内大循环和国内国际双循环显著提升了中国企业技术创新能力;经过内生性检验和稳健性检验后,这一结论依然成立;异质性分析显示,国内大循环和国内国际双循环对处在不同技术类型行业和地区的企业影响各异,这反映了双循环机制在不同背景下对提升企业技术创新能力的作用具有多样性;国内大循环和国内国际双循环通过提升人力资本积累和增加研发投入助推企业技术创新能力提升。本研究不仅深化了对企业技术创新能力影响因素的理解,尤其从新发展格局的角度提供了新的见解;同时,也为政策制定者在双循环背景下提升企业技术创新能力提供了重要的参考和启示。 展开更多

现有关于环保税政策效应的研究主要集中于从区域层面探讨环保税的经济效应和环保效应,而少量对环保税微观经济效应的研究也没有聚焦重污染企业这一关键征税对象。基于2014-2022年中国A股上市企业的面板数据,采用双重差分模型考察了环保... 现有关于环保税政策效应的研究主要集中于从区域层面探讨环保税的经济效应和环保效应,而少量对环保税微观经济效应的研究也没有聚焦重污染企业这一关键征税对象。基于2014-2022年中国A股上市企业的面板数据,采用双重差分模型考察了环保税对重污染企业的经济效应,并进一步检验了其影响机制。研究发现,环保税整体上提升了重污染企业的财务绩效。其中,异质性分析表明,环保税对高、中、低水平税额地区重污染企业的财务绩效均有显著的改善效应;机制分析表明,环保税通过提高重污染企业的资本要素投入和绿色技术创新水平进而提升了财务绩效。建立环保税长效机制、完善环保税地区差异化政策和鼓励企业进行绿色技术创新有助于提升环保税对重污染企业财务绩效的政策效应。 展开更多

“双循环”背景下我国金融稳定的新特征与输入性风险因素防范应对

本文利用基于期望最大化(EM)算法的混频动态因子模型,从职能发挥能力和冲击抵御能力两个方面实现对我国金融稳定的混频测度,综合运用时变Granger因果检验和条件动态溢出指数方法,考察6类输入性风险因素对我国金融稳定的影响效应,并进一... 本文利用基于期望最大化(EM)算法的混频动态因子模型,从职能发挥能力和冲击抵御能力两个方面实现对我国金融稳定的混频测度,综合运用时变Granger因果检验和条件动态溢出指数方法,考察6类输入性风险因素对我国金融稳定的影响效应,并进一步检验宏观审慎政策在助力金融体系应对输入性风险因素方面的有效性。研究表明:“双循环”背景下,我国金融体系职能发挥能力及其在突发事件冲击中表现出的韧性显著增强,冲击抵御能力呈现短时小幅波动态势,总体来看我国金融稳定并未受到公共卫生事件、地缘政治对抗等经济金融事件的持续影响,整体呈现稳中向好态势;随着我国金融体系的健全优化,输入性风险因素对金融稳定的溢出影响虽仍表现出显著的时变性特征,但整体上渐趋平稳;宏观审慎政策工具组合对职能发挥能力和冲击抵御能力的调控效果均存在阶段性和针对性特征,其能够助力我国金融体系有效应对全球金融周期和公共卫生事件冲击所造成的溢出效应。本文研究结论为统筹国内国际两个大局、在全面扩大金融开放过程中更好维护国家金融安全提供有益参考。 展开更多

党的二十大报告强调要推动制造业高端化、智能化、绿色化发展。本文基于GML-SBM模型和SBM-DDF模型测算了2012—2022年制造业A股上市公司的碳全要素生产率,从投入和应用两个方面探究智能制造提升企业碳全要素生产率的效应和渠道。结果发... 党的二十大报告强调要推动制造业高端化、智能化、绿色化发展。本文基于GML-SBM模型和SBM-DDF模型测算了2012—2022年制造业A股上市公司的碳全要素生产率,从投入和应用两个方面探究智能制造提升企业碳全要素生产率的效应和渠道。结果发现,智能制造能显著提高企业碳全要素生产率,且技术效率变动是主要驱动力;智能制造主要通过要素成本和要素结构渠道,即降低资本、劳动使用成本和促进资本深化、提高资本产出效率四条路径提升企业碳全要素生产率;对年轻企业和非国有企业、处在竞争程度较高行业和技术密集型行业的企业、处在知识产权保护程度较高地区及工业基地的企业,智能制造的作用效果更强。研究结果为智能制造战略的实施和“双碳”目标的实现提供了政策启示,对制造业企业的智能化转型具有重要参考意义。 展开更多

全要素生产率的大幅提升是新质生产力的核心标志,本文基于2015~2023年上市公司的数字化项目投入信息,实证检验了数字化转型对全要素生产率的影响。研究发现,数字化转型对于全要素生产率的影响具有时滞性,数字化转型的正面效应随着时间... 全要素生产率的大幅提升是新质生产力的核心标志,本文基于2015~2023年上市公司的数字化项目投入信息,实证检验了数字化转型对全要素生产率的影响。研究发现,数字化转型对于全要素生产率的影响具有时滞性,数字化转型的正面效应随着时间推进逐渐显现并得到加强。具体至细分方向,生产类和管理类数字化转型对于企业生产效率具有提升作用,而用户类和技术类数字化转型尚未赋能企业效率。机制检验显示,数字化转型通过驱动企业创新、改进企业的运营模式和降低代理成本提升了全要素生产率。异质性分析结果显示,数字化转型的积极效应对于人力资本结构更优、更加强调协作性文化和创造性文化、组织惯性相对较小以及规模较大的企业而言更为显著。 展开更多

保障我国“油瓶子”安全,首要是提升油料作物产能。在近年来我国大力实施大豆和油料产能提升工程的背景下,本文聚焦大豆、油菜、花生三大油料作物,基于2001—2022年省级数据,利用增长核算分析框架揭示我国三大油料作物产能提升的源泉。... 保障我国“油瓶子”安全,首要是提升油料作物产能。在近年来我国大力实施大豆和油料产能提升工程的背景下,本文聚焦大豆、油菜、花生三大油料作物,基于2001—2022年省级数据,利用增长核算分析框架揭示我国三大油料作物产能提升的源泉。研究发现:对于大豆和油菜籽而言,全要素生产率增长是其产能提升的最主要源泉,其贡献率分别达到73.94%和90.67%,拉动产能分别提升1.12%和1.03%;就花生而言,化肥是花生产能提升的最主要源泉,其贡献率达到62.14%,拉动产能提升0.45%。进一步分析发现:三大油料作物产能提升的源泉均存在较为明显的动态变迁特征;全要素生产率增长已成为三大油料作物产能提升的重中之重;土地和化肥对三大油料作物产能提升的贡献仍旧不可忽视。研究结果可为我国油料作物品种结构优化及油料作物产能持续提升提供重要参考。 展开更多
