Ground source heat pump systems demonstrate significant potential for northern rural heating applications;however,the effectiveness of these systems is often limited by challenging geological conditions.For instance,i...Ground source heat pump systems demonstrate significant potential for northern rural heating applications;however,the effectiveness of these systems is often limited by challenging geological conditions.For instance,in certain regions,the installation of buried pipes for heat exchangers may be complicated,and these pipes may not always serve as efficient low-temperature heat sources for the heat pumps of the system.To address this issue,the current study explored the use of solar-energy-collecting equipment to supplement buried pipes.In this design,both solar energy and geothermal energy provide low-temperature heat to the heat pump.First,a simulation model of a solar‒ground source heat pump coupling system was established using TRNSYS.The accuracy of this model was validated through experiments and simulations on various system configurations,including varying numbers of buried pipes,different areas of solar collectors,and varying volumes of water tanks.The simulations examined the coupling characteristics of these components and their influence on system performance.The results revealed that the operating parameters of the system remained consistent across the following configurations:three buried pipes,burial depth of 20 m,collector area of 6 m^(2),and water tank volume of 0.5 m^(3);four buried pipes,burial depth of 20 m,collector area of 3 m^(2),and water tank volume of 0.5 m^(3);and five buried pipes with a burial depth of 20 m.Furthermore,the heat collection capacity of the solar collectors spanning an area of 3 m^(2)was found to be equivalent to that of one buried pipe.Moreover,the findings revealed that the solar‒ground source heat pump coupling system demonstrated a lower annual cumulative energy consumption compared to the ground source heat pump system,presenting a reduction of 5.31%compared to the energy consumption of the latter.展开更多
Underwater charging stations allow Autonomous Underwater Vehicles(AUVs)to recharge batteries,extending missions and reducing surface support.However,efficient wireless power transfer requires overcoming alignment chal...Underwater charging stations allow Autonomous Underwater Vehicles(AUVs)to recharge batteries,extending missions and reducing surface support.However,efficient wireless power transfer requires overcoming alignment challenges and environmental variations in conductive seawater.This paper employs Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)to design coupling coils specifically applied for underwater wireless charging station systems.The establishment of underwater charging stations enables Autonomous Underwater Vehicles(AUVs)to recharge batteries underwater,extending mission duration and reducing reliance on surface-based resupply operations.The proposed charging system is designed to address the unique challenges of the underwater environment,such as alignment disruptions and performance degradation caused by seawater conductivity and environmental fluctuations.Given these distinctive underwater conditions,this study explores coupling coil design comprehensively.COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB software were integrated to develop an automated coil evaluation platform,effectively assessing coil coupling under varying misalignment conditions.PSO was employed to optimize coil inner diameters,simulating coupling performance across different misalignment scenarios to achieve high misalignment tolerance.The optimized coils were subsequently implemented in a full-bridge series-series resonant converter and compared with control group coils.Results confirmed the PSO-optimized coils enhanced misalignment resistance,exhibiting a variation of coupling coefficient as low as 4.26%,while the control group coils have a variation of 10.34%.In addition,compared to control group coils,PSO-optimized coils achieved an average efficiency of 71%in air and 67%in seawater,outperforming the control group coils at 66%and 60%,respectively.These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed PSO-based coil design in improving underwater wireless power transfer reliability and efficiency.展开更多

This paper presents an improved virtual coupling train set(VCTS)operation control framework to deal with the lack of opti-mization of speed curves in the traditional techniques.The framework takes into account the tem...This paper presents an improved virtual coupling train set(VCTS)operation control framework to deal with the lack of opti-mization of speed curves in the traditional techniques.The framework takes into account the temporary speed limit on the railway line and the communication delay between trains,and it uses a VCTS consisting of three trains as an experimental object.It creates the virtual coupling train tracking and control process by improving the driving strategy of the leader train and using the leader-follower model.The follower train uses the improved speed curve of the leader train as its speed refer-ence curve through knowledge migration,and this completes the multi-objective optimization of the driving strategy for the VCTS.The experimental results confirm that the deep reinforcement learning algorithm effectively achieves the optimization goal of the train driving strategy.They also reveal that the intrinsic curiosity module prioritized experience replay dueling double deep Q-network(ICM-PER-D3QN)algorithm outperforms the deep Q-network(DQN)algorithm in optimizing the driving strategy of the leader train.The ICM-PER-D3QN algorithm enhances the leader train driving strategy by an average of 57%when compared to the DQN algorithm.Furthermore,the particle swarm optimization(PSO)-based model predictive control(MPC)algorithm has also demonstrated tracking accuracy and further improved safety during VCTS operation,with an average increase of 37.7%in tracking accuracy compared to the traditional MPC algorithm.展开更多
The park-level integrated energy system(PIES)is essential for achieving carbon neutrality by managing multi-energy supply and demand while enhancing renewable energy integration.However,current carbon trading mechanis...The park-level integrated energy system(PIES)is essential for achieving carbon neutrality by managing multi-energy supply and demand while enhancing renewable energy integration.However,current carbon trading mechanisms lack sufficient incentives for emission reductions,and traditional optimization algorithms often face challenges with convergence and local optima in complex PIES scheduling.To address these issues,this paper introduces a low-carbon dispatch strategy that combines a reward-penalty tiered carbon trading model with P2G-CCS integration,hydrogen utilization,and the Secretary Bird Optimization Algorithm(SBOA).Key innovations include:(1)A dynamic reward-penalty carbon trading mechanism with coefficients(μ=0.2,λ=0.15),which reduces carbon trading costs by 47.2%(from$694.06 to$366.32)compared to traditional tiered models,incentivizing voluntary emission reductions.(2)The integration of P2G-CCS coupling,which lowers natural gas consumption by 41.9%(from$4117.20 to$2389.23)and enhances CO_(2) recycling efficiency,addressing the limitations of standalone P2G or CCS technologies.(3)TheSBOA algorithm,which outperforms traditionalmethods(e.g.,PSO,GWO)in convergence speed and global search capability,avoiding local optima and achieving 24.39%faster convergence on CEC2005 benchmark functions.(4)A four-energy PIES framework incorporating electricity,heat,gas,and hydrogen,where hydrogen fuel cells and CHP systems improve demand response flexibility,reducing gas-related emissions by 42.1%and generating$13.14 in demand response revenue.Case studies across five scenarios demonstrate the strategy’s effectiveness:total operational costs decrease by 14.7%(from$7354.64 to$6272.59),carbon emissions drop by 49.9%(from 5294.94 to 2653.39kg),andrenewable energyutilizationincreases by24.39%(from4.82%to8.17%).These results affirmthemodel’s ability to reconcile economic and environmental goals,providing a scalable approach for low-carbon transitions in industrial parks.展开更多
Fine particulate matter produced during the rapid industrialization over the past decades can cause significant harm to human health.Twin-fluid atomization technology is an effective means of controlling fine particul...Fine particulate matter produced during the rapid industrialization over the past decades can cause significant harm to human health.Twin-fluid atomization technology is an effective means of controlling fine particulate matter pollution.In this paper,the influences of the main parameters on the droplet size,effective atomization range and sound pressure level(SPL)of a twin-fluid nozzle(TFN)are investigated,and in order to improve the atomization performance,a multi-objective synergetic optimization algorithm is presented.A multi-physics coupled acousticmechanics model based on the discrete phase model(DPM),large eddy simulation(LES)model,and Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings(FW-H)model is established,and the numerical simulation results of the multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics method are verified via experimental comparison.Based on the analysis of the multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics numerical simulation results,the effects of the water flow on the characteristics of the atomization flow distribution were obtained.A multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics numerical simulation result was employed to establish an orthogonal test database,and a multi-objective synergetic optimization algorithm was adopted to optimize the key parameters of the TFN.The optimal parameters are as follows:A gas flow of 0.94 m^(3)/h,water flow of 0.0237 m^(3)/h,orifice diameter of the self-excited vibrating cavity(SVC)of 1.19 mm,SVC orifice depth of 0.53 mm,distance between SVC and the outlet of nozzle of 5.11 mm,and a nozzle outlet diameter of 3.15 mm.The droplet particle size in the atomization flow field was significantly reduced,the spray distance improved by 71.56%,and the SPL data at each corresponding measurement point decreased by an average of 38.96%.The conclusions of this study offer a references for future TFN research.展开更多
Exploring optimal operational schemes for synergistic development is crucial for sustainable management in river basins.This study introduces a multi-objective synergistic optimization framework aimed at analyzing the...Exploring optimal operational schemes for synergistic development is crucial for sustainable management in river basins.This study introduces a multi-objective synergistic optimization framework aimed at analyzing the interplay among flood control,ecological integrity,and desilting objectives under varying watersediment conditions.The framework encompasses multi-objective reservoir optimal operation,scheme decision,and trade-off analysis among competing objectives.To address the optimization model,an elite mutation-based multiobjective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO)algorithm that integrates genetic algorithms(GA)is developed.The coupling coordination degree is employed for optimal scheme decision-making,allowing for the adjustment of weight ratios to investigate the trade-offs between objectives.This research focuses on the Sanmenxia and Xiaolangdi cascade reservoirs in the Yellow River,utilizing three representative hydrological years:1967,1969,and 2002.The findings reveal that:(1)the proposed model effectively generates Pareto fronts for multi-objective operations,facilitating the recommendation of optimal schemes based on coupling coordination degrees;(2)as water-sediment conditions shift from flooding to drought,competition intensifies between the flood control and desilting objectives.While flood control and ecological objectives compete during flood and dry years,they demonstrate synergies in normal years(r=0.22);conversely,ecological and desilting objectives are consistently competitive across all three typical years,with the strongest competition observed in the normal year(r=-0.95);(3)the advantages conferred to ecological objectives increase as water-sediment conditions shift from flooding to drought.However,the promotion of the desilting objective requires more complex trade-offs.This study provides a model and methodological approach for the multi-objective optimization of flood control,sediment management,and ecological considerations in reservoir clusters.Moreover,the methodologies presented herein can be extended to other water resource systems for multi-objective optimization and decision-making.展开更多
Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)produces valuable chemicals by consuming gaseous CO_(2)as well as protons from the electrolyte.Protons,produced by water dissociation in alkaline electrolyte,...Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)produces valuable chemicals by consuming gaseous CO_(2)as well as protons from the electrolyte.Protons,produced by water dissociation in alkaline electrolyte,are critical for the reaction kinetics which involves multiple proton coupled electron transfer steps.Herein,we demonstrate that the two key steps(CO_(2)-^(*)COOH and^(*)CO-^(*)COH)efficiency can be precisely tuned by introducing proper amount of water dissociation center,i.e.,Fe single atoms,locally surrounding the Cu catalysts.In alkaline electrolyte,the Faradaic efficiency(FE)of multi-carbon(C^(2+))products exhibited a volcano type plot depending on the density of water dissociation center.A maximum FE for C^(2+)products of 73.2%could be reached on Cu nanoparticles supported on N-doped Carbon nanofibers with moderate Fe single atom sites,at a current density of 300 mA cm^(–2).Experimental and theoretical calculation results reveal that the Fe sites facilitate water dissociation kinetics,and the locally generated protons contribute significantly to the CO_(2)activation and^(*)CO protonation process.On the one hand,in-situ attenuated total reflection surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(in-situ ATR-SEIRAS)clearly shows that the^(*)COOH intermediate can be observed at a lower potential.This phenomenon fully demonstrates that the optimized local water dissociation kinetics has a unique advantage in guiding the hydrogenation reaction pathway of CO₂molecules and can effectively reduce the reaction energy barrier.On the other hand,abundant^(*)CO and^(*)COH intermediates create favorable conditions for the asymmetric^(*)CO-^(*)COH coupling,significantly increasing the selectivity of the reaction for C^(2+)products and providing strong support for the efficient conversion of related reactions to the target products.This work provides a promising strategy for the design of a dual sites catalyst to achieve high FE of C^(2+)products through the optimized local water dissociation kinetics.展开更多
In order to solve the problem of strength instability of cemented tailings backfill(CTB)under low temperature environment(≤20℃),the strength optimization and prediction of CTB under the influence of multiple factors...In order to solve the problem of strength instability of cemented tailings backfill(CTB)under low temperature environment(≤20℃),the strength optimization and prediction of CTB under the influence of multiple factors were carried out.The response surface method(RSM)was used to design the experiment to analyze the development law of backfill strength under the coupling effect of curing temperature,sand-cement ratio and slurry mass fraction,and to optimize the mix proportion;the artificial neural network algorithm(ANN)and particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)were used to build the prediction model of backfill strength.According to the experimental results of RSM,the optimal mix proportion under different curing temperatures was obtained.When the curing temperature is 10-15℃,the best mix proportion of sand-cement ratio is 9,and the slurry mass fraction is 71%;when the curing temperature is 15-20℃,the best mix proportion of sand-cement ratio is 8,and the slurry mass fraction is 69%.The ANN-PSO intelligent model can accurately predict the strength of CTB,its mean relative estimation error value and correlation coefficient value are only 1.95%and 0.992,and the strength of CTB under different mix proportion can be predicted quickly and accurately by using this model.展开更多
Robot-automated spraying is widely used in various fields,such as the automotive,metalworking,furniture,and aero-space industries.Spraying quality is influenced by multiple factors,including robot speed,acceleration,e...Robot-automated spraying is widely used in various fields,such as the automotive,metalworking,furniture,and aero-space industries.Spraying quality is influenced by multiple factors,including robot speed,acceleration,end-effector trajectory,and spraying process constraints.To achieve high-quality spraying under the influence of multiple factors,this study proposes a multi-objective optimization method for the spraying trajectory that integrates spraying process constraints into the optimization process.First,a 7-degree-of-freedom rigid-flexible coupling serial spray painting robot system is introduced,which includes a motion decoupling mechanism and a tension amplification mechanism.Subsequently,a paint deposition model for the spray gun was established,and the influence of process constraints on spraying quality was analyzed.Trajectory planning for the spray painting robot,based on the septic B-spline interpolation method,was then performed.Based on this foundation,objective functions and constraint equations for spraying trajectory optimization were established.A multi-objective trajectory optimization method for spraying by the robot is proposed based on the NSGA-Ⅱ,which integrates the spraying process constraints.Finally,a prototype system of a 7-degree-of-freedom rigid-flexible coupling serial spray painting robot was constructed.Simulations and spraying experiments were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed multi-objective trajectory optimization method.This paper presents a multi-objective optimization method for the spraying trajectory of a robot.In the proposed method,the optimized spraying trajectory is generated with the spraying process as the constraint and time,energy consumption,and impact during the spraying operation of the robot as the optimization objectives.展开更多

Furthermore, we present an optimization model of ideal ITCDIC, which can be used to achieve the maximum energy saving and find the optimal design parameters directly. The binary system of benzene-toluene is adopted for the illustrative example of simulation and optimization. The results show that the maximum energy saving of ITCDIC is 52.25% (compared with energy consumption of conventional distillation under the minimum reflux ratio operation); the optimal design parameters are obtained, where the rectifying section pressure and the feed thermal condition are Pr=0.3006 MPa and q=0.5107 respectively.展开更多

The use of space robots(SRs)for on-orbit services(OOSs)has been a hot research topic in recent years.However,the space unstructured environment(i.e.:confined spaces,multiple obstacles,and strong radiation interference...The use of space robots(SRs)for on-orbit services(OOSs)has been a hot research topic in recent years.However,the space unstructured environment(i.e.:confined spaces,multiple obstacles,and strong radiation interference)has greatly restricted the application of SRs.The coupled active-passive multilink cable-driven space robot(CAP-MCDSR)has the characteristics of slim body,flexible movement,and electromechanical separation,which is very suitable for extreme space environments.However,the dynamic and stiffness modeling of CAP-MCDSRs is challenging,due to the complex coupling among the active cables,passive cables,joints,and the end-effector.To deal with these problems,this paper proposes a workspace,stiffness analysis and design optimization method for such type of MCDSRs.Firstly,the multi-coupling kinematics relationships among the joint,cables and the end-effector are established.Based on hybrid series-parallel characteristics,the improved coupled active–passive(CAP)dynamic equation is derived.Then,the maximum workspace,the maximum stiffness,and the minimum cable tension are resolved,among them,the overall stiffness is the superposition of the stiffness produced by the active and the passive cable.Furthermore,the workspace,the stiffness,and the cable tension are analyzed by using the nonlinear optimization method(NOPM).Finally,an 8-DOF CAP-MCDSR experiment system is built to verify the proposed modeling and trajectory tracking methods.The proposed modeling and analysis results are very useful for practical space applications,such as designing a new CAP-MCDSR,or utilizing an existing CAP-MCDSR system.展开更多
In variational methods,coupled parameter optimization(CPO) often needs a long minimization time window(MTW) to fully incorporate observational information,but the optimal MTW somehow depends on the model nonlinearity....In variational methods,coupled parameter optimization(CPO) often needs a long minimization time window(MTW) to fully incorporate observational information,but the optimal MTW somehow depends on the model nonlinearity.The analytical four-dimensional ensemble-variational(A-4DEnVar) considers model nonlinearity well and avoids adjoint model.It can theoretically be applied to CPO.To verify the feasibility and the ability of the A-4DEnVar in CPO,“twin” experiments based on A-4DEnVar CPO are conducted for the first time with the comparison of four-dimensional variational(4D-Var).Two algorithms use the same background error covariance matrix and optimization algorithm to control variates.The experiments are based on a simple coupled oceanatmosphere model,in which the atmospheric part is the highly nonlinear Lorenz-63 model,and the oceanic part is a slab ocean model.The results show that both A-4DEnVar and 4D-Var can effectively reduce the error of state variables through CPO.Besides,two methods produce almost the same results in most cases when the MTW is less than 560 time steps.The results are similar when the MTW is larger than 560 time steps and less than 880 time steps.The largest MTW of 4 D-Var and A-4DEnVar are 1 200 time steps.Moreover,A-4DEnVar is not sensitive to ensemble size when the MTW is less than 720 time steps.A-4DEnVar obtains satisfactory results in the case of highly nonlinear model and long MTW,suggesting that it has the potential to be widely applied to realistic CPO.展开更多

In Ga As/In Al As multilayer structures based photoconductive antennas are used in TDS setup as both the emitter and receiver. The experimental results demonstrate that not only the THz signal power but also the temporal waveform vary with the rotation of the exciting pulse polarization. Maximum output power of the emitter is obtained when the polarization of the pump pulse is perpendicular to the edge of the metal electrodes. At this moment the THz waveform is close to a single-cycled pulse. However, double THz pulses could be recorded when the pump laser polarization is parallel to the electrodes. Laser pulse splitting induced by the birefringence of the optical fiber may attribute to the polarizationdependent performance of the fiber-coupled THz-TDS system.展开更多
The global green hydrogen industry is experiencing rapid growth,but the high production costs are hindering its widespread adoption.To address this challenge,it is particularly important to rationally configure a rene...The global green hydrogen industry is experiencing rapid growth,but the high production costs are hindering its widespread adoption.To address this challenge,it is particularly important to rationally configure a renewable energy hydrogen production system.For this purpose,the study proposes a model for capacity optimization configuration of a renewable energy hydrogen production system,which integrates wind power,photovoltaic(PV)power,and concentrating solar power(CSP)with alkaline electrolyzer.It conducts capacity optimization configuration and comprehensive evaluations of the hydrogen production system across various scenarios.To minimize the total daily consumption cost,the CPLEX solver is utilized to solve the objective function and determine the capacity configuration of the renewable energy electrolysis of water hydrogen production system generator set under various scenarios.This approach achieves a utilization rate of over 99%for renewable energy.Through comprehensive evaluation,research has found that renewable energy-coupled hydrogen production significantly reduces generator capacity and electricity generation costs compared to separate hydrogen production,enhancing the economic efficiency of the system.The Wind-PV-CSP coupling hydrogen production system has the smallest generator assembly capacity and the lowest hydrogen production cost,which is 18.84 CNY·kg^(-1),significantly lower than the cost of PV-CSP coupling hydrogen production(25.78 CNY·kg^(-1))and wind-PV coupling hydrogen production(25.86 CNY·kg^(-1)).It has good development prospects and plays an important role in exploring the development path of large-scale on-site consumption of new energy.展开更多
Enhancing plasma uniformity can be achieved by modifying coil and chamber structures in radio frequency inductively coupled plasma(ICP)to meet the demand for large-area and uniformly distributed plasma in industrial m...Enhancing plasma uniformity can be achieved by modifying coil and chamber structures in radio frequency inductively coupled plasma(ICP)to meet the demand for large-area and uniformly distributed plasma in industrial manufacturing.This study utilized a two-dimensional self-consistent fluid model to investigate how different coil configurations and chamber aspect ratios affect the radial uniformity of plasma in radio frequency ICP.The findings indicate that optimizing the radial spacing of the coil enhances plasma uniformity but with a reduction in electron density.Furthermore,optimizing the coil within the ICP reactor,using the interior point method in the Interior Point Optimizer significantly enhances plasma uniformity,elevating it from 56%to 96%within the range of the model sizes.Additionally,when the chamber aspect ratio k changes from 2.8 to 4.7,the plasma distribution changes from a center-high to a saddleshaped distribution.Moreover,the plasma uniformity becomes worse.Finally,adjusting process parameters,such as increasing source power and gas pressure,can enhance plasma uniformity.These findings contribute to optimizing the etching process by improving plasma radial uniformity.展开更多
With the high speed, the rotor of magnetically suspended permanent magnet synchronous motor(MSPMSM) suffers great thermal stress and mechanical stress resulting from the temperature rise problem caused by rotor losses...With the high speed, the rotor of magnetically suspended permanent magnet synchronous motor(MSPMSM) suffers great thermal stress and mechanical stress resulting from the temperature rise problem caused by rotor losses, which leads to instability and inefficiency.In this paper, the mechanical–temperature field coupling analysis is conducted to analyze the relationship between the temperature field and structure, and multi-objective optimization of a rotor is performed to improve the design reliability and efficiency. Firstly, the temperature field is calculated by the 2 D finite element model of MSPMSM and the method of applying the 2 D temperature result to the 3 D finite element model of the motor rotor equivalently is proposed. Then the thermal–structure coupling analysis is processed through mathematic method and finite element method(FEM),in which the 3 D finite element model is established precisely in a way and approaches the practical operation state further. Moreover, the impact produced by the temperature and structure on the mechanical strength is analyzed in detail. Finally, the optimization mathematical model of the motor rotor is established with Sequential Quadratic Programming-NLPQL selected in the optimization scheme. Through optimization, the strength of the components in the motor rotor increases obviously and satisfies the design requirement, which to a great extend enhances the service life of the MSPMSM rotor.展开更多

文摘Ground source heat pump systems demonstrate significant potential for northern rural heating applications;however,the effectiveness of these systems is often limited by challenging geological conditions.For instance,in certain regions,the installation of buried pipes for heat exchangers may be complicated,and these pipes may not always serve as efficient low-temperature heat sources for the heat pumps of the system.To address this issue,the current study explored the use of solar-energy-collecting equipment to supplement buried pipes.In this design,both solar energy and geothermal energy provide low-temperature heat to the heat pump.First,a simulation model of a solar‒ground source heat pump coupling system was established using TRNSYS.The accuracy of this model was validated through experiments and simulations on various system configurations,including varying numbers of buried pipes,different areas of solar collectors,and varying volumes of water tanks.The simulations examined the coupling characteristics of these components and their influence on system performance.The results revealed that the operating parameters of the system remained consistent across the following configurations:three buried pipes,burial depth of 20 m,collector area of 6 m^(2),and water tank volume of 0.5 m^(3);four buried pipes,burial depth of 20 m,collector area of 3 m^(2),and water tank volume of 0.5 m^(3);and five buried pipes with a burial depth of 20 m.Furthermore,the heat collection capacity of the solar collectors spanning an area of 3 m^(2)was found to be equivalent to that of one buried pipe.Moreover,the findings revealed that the solar‒ground source heat pump coupling system demonstrated a lower annual cumulative energy consumption compared to the ground source heat pump system,presenting a reduction of 5.31%compared to the energy consumption of the latter.

文摘Underwater charging stations allow Autonomous Underwater Vehicles(AUVs)to recharge batteries,extending missions and reducing surface support.However,efficient wireless power transfer requires overcoming alignment challenges and environmental variations in conductive seawater.This paper employs Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)to design coupling coils specifically applied for underwater wireless charging station systems.The establishment of underwater charging stations enables Autonomous Underwater Vehicles(AUVs)to recharge batteries underwater,extending mission duration and reducing reliance on surface-based resupply operations.The proposed charging system is designed to address the unique challenges of the underwater environment,such as alignment disruptions and performance degradation caused by seawater conductivity and environmental fluctuations.Given these distinctive underwater conditions,this study explores coupling coil design comprehensively.COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB software were integrated to develop an automated coil evaluation platform,effectively assessing coil coupling under varying misalignment conditions.PSO was employed to optimize coil inner diameters,simulating coupling performance across different misalignment scenarios to achieve high misalignment tolerance.The optimized coils were subsequently implemented in a full-bridge series-series resonant converter and compared with control group coils.Results confirmed the PSO-optimized coils enhanced misalignment resistance,exhibiting a variation of coupling coefficient as low as 4.26%,while the control group coils have a variation of 10.34%.In addition,compared to control group coils,PSO-optimized coils achieved an average efficiency of 71%in air and 67%in seawater,outperforming the control group coils at 66%and 60%,respectively.These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed PSO-based coil design in improving underwater wireless power transfer reliability and efficiency.

文摘This paper presents an improved level set method for topology optimization of geometrically nonlinear structures accounting for the effect of thermo-mechanical couplings.It derives a new expression for element coupling stress resulting from the combination of mechanical and thermal loading,using geometric nonlinear finite element analysis.A topological model is then developed to minimize compliance while meeting displacement and frequency constraints to fulfill design requirements of structural members.Since the conventional Lagrange multiplier search method is unable to handle convergence instability arising from large deformation,a novel Lagrange multiplier search method is proposed.Additionally,the proposed method can be extended to multi-constrained geometrically nonlinear topology optimization,accommodating multiple physical field couplings.

文摘The high-speed reentry vehicle operates across a broad range of speeds and spatial domains,where optimal aerodynamic shapes for different speeds are contradictory.This makes it challenging for a single-Mach optimization design to meet aerodynamic performance requirements throughout the vehicle’s flight envelope.Additionally,the strong coupling between aerodynamics and control adds complexity,as fluctuations in aerodynamic parameters due to speed variations complicate control system design.To address these challenges,this study proposes an aerodynamic/control coupling optimization design approach.This method,based on aerodynamic optimization principles,incorporates active control technology,treating aerodynamic layout and control system design as primary components during the conceptual design phase.By integrating the design and evaluation of aerodynamics and control,the approach aims to reduce design iterations and enhance overall flight performance.The comprehensive design of the rotary reentry vehicle,using this optimization strategy,effectively balances performance at supersonic and hypersonic speeds.The results show that the integrated design model meets aerodynamic and control performance requirements over a broader range of Mach numbers,preventing performance degradation due to deviations from the design Mach number,and providing a practical solution for high-speed reentry vehicle design.

文摘This paper presents an improved virtual coupling train set(VCTS)operation control framework to deal with the lack of opti-mization of speed curves in the traditional techniques.The framework takes into account the temporary speed limit on the railway line and the communication delay between trains,and it uses a VCTS consisting of three trains as an experimental object.It creates the virtual coupling train tracking and control process by improving the driving strategy of the leader train and using the leader-follower model.The follower train uses the improved speed curve of the leader train as its speed refer-ence curve through knowledge migration,and this completes the multi-objective optimization of the driving strategy for the VCTS.The experimental results confirm that the deep reinforcement learning algorithm effectively achieves the optimization goal of the train driving strategy.They also reveal that the intrinsic curiosity module prioritized experience replay dueling double deep Q-network(ICM-PER-D3QN)algorithm outperforms the deep Q-network(DQN)algorithm in optimizing the driving strategy of the leader train.The ICM-PER-D3QN algorithm enhances the leader train driving strategy by an average of 57%when compared to the DQN algorithm.Furthermore,the particle swarm optimization(PSO)-based model predictive control(MPC)algorithm has also demonstrated tracking accuracy and further improved safety during VCTS operation,with an average increase of 37.7%in tracking accuracy compared to the traditional MPC algorithm.

文摘The park-level integrated energy system(PIES)is essential for achieving carbon neutrality by managing multi-energy supply and demand while enhancing renewable energy integration.However,current carbon trading mechanisms lack sufficient incentives for emission reductions,and traditional optimization algorithms often face challenges with convergence and local optima in complex PIES scheduling.To address these issues,this paper introduces a low-carbon dispatch strategy that combines a reward-penalty tiered carbon trading model with P2G-CCS integration,hydrogen utilization,and the Secretary Bird Optimization Algorithm(SBOA).Key innovations include:(1)A dynamic reward-penalty carbon trading mechanism with coefficients(μ=0.2,λ=0.15),which reduces carbon trading costs by 47.2%(from$694.06 to$366.32)compared to traditional tiered models,incentivizing voluntary emission reductions.(2)The integration of P2G-CCS coupling,which lowers natural gas consumption by 41.9%(from$4117.20 to$2389.23)and enhances CO_(2) recycling efficiency,addressing the limitations of standalone P2G or CCS technologies.(3)TheSBOA algorithm,which outperforms traditionalmethods(e.g.,PSO,GWO)in convergence speed and global search capability,avoiding local optima and achieving 24.39%faster convergence on CEC2005 benchmark functions.(4)A four-energy PIES framework incorporating electricity,heat,gas,and hydrogen,where hydrogen fuel cells and CHP systems improve demand response flexibility,reducing gas-related emissions by 42.1%and generating$13.14 in demand response revenue.Case studies across five scenarios demonstrate the strategy’s effectiveness:total operational costs decrease by 14.7%(from$7354.64 to$6272.59),carbon emissions drop by 49.9%(from 5294.94 to 2653.39kg),andrenewable energyutilizationincreases by24.39%(from4.82%to8.17%).These results affirmthemodel’s ability to reconcile economic and environmental goals,providing a scalable approach for low-carbon transitions in industrial parks.

文摘Fine particulate matter produced during the rapid industrialization over the past decades can cause significant harm to human health.Twin-fluid atomization technology is an effective means of controlling fine particulate matter pollution.In this paper,the influences of the main parameters on the droplet size,effective atomization range and sound pressure level(SPL)of a twin-fluid nozzle(TFN)are investigated,and in order to improve the atomization performance,a multi-objective synergetic optimization algorithm is presented.A multi-physics coupled acousticmechanics model based on the discrete phase model(DPM),large eddy simulation(LES)model,and Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings(FW-H)model is established,and the numerical simulation results of the multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics method are verified via experimental comparison.Based on the analysis of the multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics numerical simulation results,the effects of the water flow on the characteristics of the atomization flow distribution were obtained.A multi-physics coupled acoustic-mechanics numerical simulation result was employed to establish an orthogonal test database,and a multi-objective synergetic optimization algorithm was adopted to optimize the key parameters of the TFN.The optimal parameters are as follows:A gas flow of 0.94 m^(3)/h,water flow of 0.0237 m^(3)/h,orifice diameter of the self-excited vibrating cavity(SVC)of 1.19 mm,SVC orifice depth of 0.53 mm,distance between SVC and the outlet of nozzle of 5.11 mm,and a nozzle outlet diameter of 3.15 mm.The droplet particle size in the atomization flow field was significantly reduced,the spray distance improved by 71.56%,and the SPL data at each corresponding measurement point decreased by an average of 38.96%.The conclusions of this study offer a references for future TFN research.

文摘Exploring optimal operational schemes for synergistic development is crucial for sustainable management in river basins.This study introduces a multi-objective synergistic optimization framework aimed at analyzing the interplay among flood control,ecological integrity,and desilting objectives under varying watersediment conditions.The framework encompasses multi-objective reservoir optimal operation,scheme decision,and trade-off analysis among competing objectives.To address the optimization model,an elite mutation-based multiobjective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO)algorithm that integrates genetic algorithms(GA)is developed.The coupling coordination degree is employed for optimal scheme decision-making,allowing for the adjustment of weight ratios to investigate the trade-offs between objectives.This research focuses on the Sanmenxia and Xiaolangdi cascade reservoirs in the Yellow River,utilizing three representative hydrological years:1967,1969,and 2002.The findings reveal that:(1)the proposed model effectively generates Pareto fronts for multi-objective operations,facilitating the recommendation of optimal schemes based on coupling coordination degrees;(2)as water-sediment conditions shift from flooding to drought,competition intensifies between the flood control and desilting objectives.While flood control and ecological objectives compete during flood and dry years,they demonstrate synergies in normal years(r=0.22);conversely,ecological and desilting objectives are consistently competitive across all three typical years,with the strongest competition observed in the normal year(r=-0.95);(3)the advantages conferred to ecological objectives increase as water-sediment conditions shift from flooding to drought.However,the promotion of the desilting objective requires more complex trade-offs.This study provides a model and methodological approach for the multi-objective optimization of flood control,sediment management,and ecological considerations in reservoir clusters.Moreover,the methodologies presented herein can be extended to other water resource systems for multi-objective optimization and decision-making.
文摘Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)produces valuable chemicals by consuming gaseous CO_(2)as well as protons from the electrolyte.Protons,produced by water dissociation in alkaline electrolyte,are critical for the reaction kinetics which involves multiple proton coupled electron transfer steps.Herein,we demonstrate that the two key steps(CO_(2)-^(*)COOH and^(*)CO-^(*)COH)efficiency can be precisely tuned by introducing proper amount of water dissociation center,i.e.,Fe single atoms,locally surrounding the Cu catalysts.In alkaline electrolyte,the Faradaic efficiency(FE)of multi-carbon(C^(2+))products exhibited a volcano type plot depending on the density of water dissociation center.A maximum FE for C^(2+)products of 73.2%could be reached on Cu nanoparticles supported on N-doped Carbon nanofibers with moderate Fe single atom sites,at a current density of 300 mA cm^(–2).Experimental and theoretical calculation results reveal that the Fe sites facilitate water dissociation kinetics,and the locally generated protons contribute significantly to the CO_(2)activation and^(*)CO protonation process.On the one hand,in-situ attenuated total reflection surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(in-situ ATR-SEIRAS)clearly shows that the^(*)COOH intermediate can be observed at a lower potential.This phenomenon fully demonstrates that the optimized local water dissociation kinetics has a unique advantage in guiding the hydrogenation reaction pathway of CO₂molecules and can effectively reduce the reaction energy barrier.On the other hand,abundant^(*)CO and^(*)COH intermediates create favorable conditions for the asymmetric^(*)CO-^(*)COH coupling,significantly increasing the selectivity of the reaction for C^(2+)products and providing strong support for the efficient conversion of related reactions to the target products.This work provides a promising strategy for the design of a dual sites catalyst to achieve high FE of C^(2+)products through the optimized local water dissociation kinetics.

文摘In order to solve the problem of strength instability of cemented tailings backfill(CTB)under low temperature environment(≤20℃),the strength optimization and prediction of CTB under the influence of multiple factors were carried out.The response surface method(RSM)was used to design the experiment to analyze the development law of backfill strength under the coupling effect of curing temperature,sand-cement ratio and slurry mass fraction,and to optimize the mix proportion;the artificial neural network algorithm(ANN)and particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)were used to build the prediction model of backfill strength.According to the experimental results of RSM,the optimal mix proportion under different curing temperatures was obtained.When the curing temperature is 10-15℃,the best mix proportion of sand-cement ratio is 9,and the slurry mass fraction is 71%;when the curing temperature is 15-20℃,the best mix proportion of sand-cement ratio is 8,and the slurry mass fraction is 69%.The ANN-PSO intelligent model can accurately predict the strength of CTB,its mean relative estimation error value and correlation coefficient value are only 1.95%and 0.992,and the strength of CTB under different mix proportion can be predicted quickly and accurately by using this model.

文摘Robot-automated spraying is widely used in various fields,such as the automotive,metalworking,furniture,and aero-space industries.Spraying quality is influenced by multiple factors,including robot speed,acceleration,end-effector trajectory,and spraying process constraints.To achieve high-quality spraying under the influence of multiple factors,this study proposes a multi-objective optimization method for the spraying trajectory that integrates spraying process constraints into the optimization process.First,a 7-degree-of-freedom rigid-flexible coupling serial spray painting robot system is introduced,which includes a motion decoupling mechanism and a tension amplification mechanism.Subsequently,a paint deposition model for the spray gun was established,and the influence of process constraints on spraying quality was analyzed.Trajectory planning for the spray painting robot,based on the septic B-spline interpolation method,was then performed.Based on this foundation,objective functions and constraint equations for spraying trajectory optimization were established.A multi-objective trajectory optimization method for spraying by the robot is proposed based on the NSGA-Ⅱ,which integrates the spraying process constraints.Finally,a prototype system of a 7-degree-of-freedom rigid-flexible coupling serial spray painting robot was constructed.Simulations and spraying experiments were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed multi-objective trajectory optimization method.This paper presents a multi-objective optimization method for the spraying trajectory of a robot.In the proposed method,the optimized spraying trajectory is generated with the spraying process as the constraint and time,energy consumption,and impact during the spraying operation of the robot as the optimization objectives.

文摘Flow characteristics, such as flow pattern, gas holdup, and bubble size distribution, in an internal loop reactor with external liquid circulation, are simulated to investigate the influence of reactor internals by using the computational fluid dynamics (CFD)-population balance equations (PBE) coupled model. Numerical results reveal that introducing a downcomer tube and a draft tube can help to improve the mass and heat transfer of the reactor through enhanced liquid circulation, increased gas holdup and reduced bubble diameter. The hydrodynamic behavior in the internal loop reactor with external liquid circulation can be managed effectively by adjusting the diameter and axial position of the draft tube.

文摘Internal thermally coupled distillation columns (ITCDIC) are the frontier of distillation energy saving research. In this paper, a novel energy saving model of ideal ITCDIC and a simulation algorithm are presented,upon which a series of comparative studies on energy savings with conventional distillation columns are carried out. Furthermore, we present an optimization model of ideal ITCDIC, which can be used to achieve the maximum energy saving and find the optimal design parameters directly. The binary system of benzene-toluene is adopted for the illustrative example of simulation and optimization. The results show that the maximum energy saving of ITCDIC is 52.25% (compared with energy consumption of conventional distillation under the minimum reflux ratio operation); the optimal design parameters are obtained, where the rectifying section pressure and the feed thermal condition are Pr=0.3006 MPa and q=0.5107 respectively.
文摘In this paper, a new approach using artificial neural network and genetic algorithm for the optimization of the thermally coupled distillation is presented. Mathematical model can be constructed with artificial neural network based on the simulation results with ASPEN PLUS. Modified genetic algorithm was used to optimize the model. With the proposed model and optimization arithmetic, mathematical model can be calculated, decision variables and target value can be reached automatically and quickly. A practical example is used to demonstrate the algorithm.

文摘The use of space robots(SRs)for on-orbit services(OOSs)has been a hot research topic in recent years.However,the space unstructured environment(i.e.:confined spaces,multiple obstacles,and strong radiation interference)has greatly restricted the application of SRs.The coupled active-passive multilink cable-driven space robot(CAP-MCDSR)has the characteristics of slim body,flexible movement,and electromechanical separation,which is very suitable for extreme space environments.However,the dynamic and stiffness modeling of CAP-MCDSRs is challenging,due to the complex coupling among the active cables,passive cables,joints,and the end-effector.To deal with these problems,this paper proposes a workspace,stiffness analysis and design optimization method for such type of MCDSRs.Firstly,the multi-coupling kinematics relationships among the joint,cables and the end-effector are established.Based on hybrid series-parallel characteristics,the improved coupled active–passive(CAP)dynamic equation is derived.Then,the maximum workspace,the maximum stiffness,and the minimum cable tension are resolved,among them,the overall stiffness is the superposition of the stiffness produced by the active and the passive cable.Furthermore,the workspace,the stiffness,and the cable tension are analyzed by using the nonlinear optimization method(NOPM).Finally,an 8-DOF CAP-MCDSR experiment system is built to verify the proposed modeling and trajectory tracking methods.The proposed modeling and analysis results are very useful for practical space applications,such as designing a new CAP-MCDSR,or utilizing an existing CAP-MCDSR system.

文摘In variational methods,coupled parameter optimization(CPO) often needs a long minimization time window(MTW) to fully incorporate observational information,but the optimal MTW somehow depends on the model nonlinearity.The analytical four-dimensional ensemble-variational(A-4DEnVar) considers model nonlinearity well and avoids adjoint model.It can theoretically be applied to CPO.To verify the feasibility and the ability of the A-4DEnVar in CPO,“twin” experiments based on A-4DEnVar CPO are conducted for the first time with the comparison of four-dimensional variational(4D-Var).Two algorithms use the same background error covariance matrix and optimization algorithm to control variates.The experiments are based on a simple coupled oceanatmosphere model,in which the atmospheric part is the highly nonlinear Lorenz-63 model,and the oceanic part is a slab ocean model.The results show that both A-4DEnVar and 4D-Var can effectively reduce the error of state variables through CPO.Besides,two methods produce almost the same results in most cases when the MTW is less than 560 time steps.The results are similar when the MTW is larger than 560 time steps and less than 880 time steps.The largest MTW of 4 D-Var and A-4DEnVar are 1 200 time steps.Moreover,A-4DEnVar is not sensitive to ensemble size when the MTW is less than 720 time steps.A-4DEnVar obtains satisfactory results in the case of highly nonlinear model and long MTW,suggesting that it has the potential to be widely applied to realistic CPO.

文摘The optimization of the fiber-coupled terahertz time-domain spectroscopy(THz-TDS) system is performed by changing the polarization of the optical excitation pulse centered at 1550 nm. In Ga As/In Al As multilayer structures based photoconductive antennas are used in TDS setup as both the emitter and receiver. The experimental results demonstrate that not only the THz signal power but also the temporal waveform vary with the rotation of the exciting pulse polarization. Maximum output power of the emitter is obtained when the polarization of the pump pulse is perpendicular to the edge of the metal electrodes. At this moment the THz waveform is close to a single-cycled pulse. However, double THz pulses could be recorded when the pump laser polarization is parallel to the electrodes. Laser pulse splitting induced by the birefringence of the optical fiber may attribute to the polarizationdependent performance of the fiber-coupled THz-TDS system.

文摘The global green hydrogen industry is experiencing rapid growth,but the high production costs are hindering its widespread adoption.To address this challenge,it is particularly important to rationally configure a renewable energy hydrogen production system.For this purpose,the study proposes a model for capacity optimization configuration of a renewable energy hydrogen production system,which integrates wind power,photovoltaic(PV)power,and concentrating solar power(CSP)with alkaline electrolyzer.It conducts capacity optimization configuration and comprehensive evaluations of the hydrogen production system across various scenarios.To minimize the total daily consumption cost,the CPLEX solver is utilized to solve the objective function and determine the capacity configuration of the renewable energy electrolysis of water hydrogen production system generator set under various scenarios.This approach achieves a utilization rate of over 99%for renewable energy.Through comprehensive evaluation,research has found that renewable energy-coupled hydrogen production significantly reduces generator capacity and electricity generation costs compared to separate hydrogen production,enhancing the economic efficiency of the system.The Wind-PV-CSP coupling hydrogen production system has the smallest generator assembly capacity and the lowest hydrogen production cost,which is 18.84 CNY·kg^(-1),significantly lower than the cost of PV-CSP coupling hydrogen production(25.78 CNY·kg^(-1))and wind-PV coupling hydrogen production(25.86 CNY·kg^(-1)).It has good development prospects and plays an important role in exploring the development path of large-scale on-site consumption of new energy.

文摘Enhancing plasma uniformity can be achieved by modifying coil and chamber structures in radio frequency inductively coupled plasma(ICP)to meet the demand for large-area and uniformly distributed plasma in industrial manufacturing.This study utilized a two-dimensional self-consistent fluid model to investigate how different coil configurations and chamber aspect ratios affect the radial uniformity of plasma in radio frequency ICP.The findings indicate that optimizing the radial spacing of the coil enhances plasma uniformity but with a reduction in electron density.Furthermore,optimizing the coil within the ICP reactor,using the interior point method in the Interior Point Optimizer significantly enhances plasma uniformity,elevating it from 56%to 96%within the range of the model sizes.Additionally,when the chamber aspect ratio k changes from 2.8 to 4.7,the plasma distribution changes from a center-high to a saddleshaped distribution.Moreover,the plasma uniformity becomes worse.Finally,adjusting process parameters,such as increasing source power and gas pressure,can enhance plasma uniformity.These findings contribute to optimizing the etching process by improving plasma radial uniformity.

文摘With the high speed, the rotor of magnetically suspended permanent magnet synchronous motor(MSPMSM) suffers great thermal stress and mechanical stress resulting from the temperature rise problem caused by rotor losses, which leads to instability and inefficiency.In this paper, the mechanical–temperature field coupling analysis is conducted to analyze the relationship between the temperature field and structure, and multi-objective optimization of a rotor is performed to improve the design reliability and efficiency. Firstly, the temperature field is calculated by the 2 D finite element model of MSPMSM and the method of applying the 2 D temperature result to the 3 D finite element model of the motor rotor equivalently is proposed. Then the thermal–structure coupling analysis is processed through mathematic method and finite element method(FEM),in which the 3 D finite element model is established precisely in a way and approaches the practical operation state further. Moreover, the impact produced by the temperature and structure on the mechanical strength is analyzed in detail. Finally, the optimization mathematical model of the motor rotor is established with Sequential Quadratic Programming-NLPQL selected in the optimization scheme. Through optimization, the strength of the components in the motor rotor increases obviously and satisfies the design requirement, which to a great extend enhances the service life of the MSPMSM rotor.
