First, the dam-foundation system is modeled and analyzed, in which the effects of infinite foundation, contraction joints, and nonlinear concrete are taken into account. The detailed structures of the outlet pier are then simulated with a refined FE model in the sub-model analysis. In this way the damage mechanism of the plain (unreinforced) outlet pier is analyzed, and the effects of two reinforcement measures (i.e., post-tensioned anchor cables and reinforcing bar) on the dynamic damage to the outlet pier are investigated comprehensively. Results show that the plain pier is damaged severely by strong earthquakes while implementation of post-tensioned anchor cables strengthens the pier effectively. In addition, radiation damping strongly alleviates seismic damage to the piers.展开更多

Besides, the distribution of Fe and Zn in sphalerite samples was analyzed by imaging EPMA-WDS and imaging To F-SIMS. The results show that Fe and Zn contents determined by each spectroscopic technique have good linearity with those determined by chemical titration(R^2>0.77), and the R^2 values of Fe are generally greater than those of Zn. The imaging analysis results revealed that Fe and Zn are not uniformly distributed in the sphalerite.展开更多

However, the preparation of Fe-based carbon materials is still carried out by conventional heating method (CHM). Herein, a novel microwave-assisted carbon bath method (MW-CBM) was proposed, which only took 35 min to synthesize Fe/Fe3C nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped carbon layers derived from Prussian blue (PB). The catalyst contained large specific surface area and mesoporous structure, abundant Fe-Nx and C–N active sites, unique core-shell structure. Due to the synergistic effects of these features, the as-prepared Fe/Fe3C@NC-2 displayed outstanding ORR activity with onset potential of 0.98 VRHE and halfwave potential of 0.87 VRHE, which were more positive than 20 wt.% Pt/C (0.93 VRHE and 0.82 VRHE). Besides, Fe/Fe3C@NC-2 gave a better stability and methanol tolerance than Pt/C towards ORR in alkaline media, too.展开更多

Potential of the catalysts in the soot oxidation was evaluated in a temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO) apparatus. The results showed that all the Fe3+ and Zr4+ were incor- porated into ceria lattice to form a pure Ce-Fe-Zr-O solid solution for the co-precipitation sample, but two kinds of Fe phases ex- isted in the Ce-Fe-Zr-O catalysts prepared by other methods: Fe3+ incorporated into CeO2 lattice and dispersed Fe2O3 clusters. The free Fe2O3 clusters could improve the activity of catalysts for soot oxidation comparing with the pure Ce-Fe-Zr-O solid solution owing to the synergetic effect between free Fe2O3 and surface oxygen vacancies. In addition, the activity of catalysts strongly relied on the surface reducibility of free Fe2O3 particles. Holding both abundant free Fe2O3 particles and high oxygen vacancy concentration, the hydrothermal Ce0.5Fe0.3Zr0.202 catalyst presented the lowest Ti (251℃, ignition temperature of soot oxidation) and Tm (310 ℃, maximum oxidation rate temperature) for soot combustion (with tight-contact between soot and catalysts) among the five samples. Even after aging at 800 ℃ for 10 h, the Ti and Tm were still relatively low, at 273 and 361 ℃, respectively, indicating high catalytic stability.展开更多

The thickness of VSe_(2) nanosheets can be tuned from 12 to 5 layers by decreasing the precursor concentrations. The few-layer VSe_(2) nanosheets show the room-temperature ferromagnetism. The coercivity and magnetization reach 0.024 T and 0.036 mA·m^(2)·g^(-1) at room temperature. The chargedensity wave behavior is also confirmed in VSe_(2) by the hysteresis loops and zero-field-cooling curve. V_(1-x)Fe_(x)Se_(2) nanosheets can be obtained by doping Fe(acac)3 in the reaction process. The room-temperature coercivity and magnetization of V_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)Se_(2) nanosheets are 5 times higher than those of the pure VSe_(2) nanosheets without destroying the structures. The enhancement of magnetization is due to the coupling interaction of 3 d orbits between V and Fe atoms. Higher Fe concentration is beneficial to improve the coercivity, which is attributed to the formation of the second phase Fe3 Se4. This simple chemical preparation method can be extended to prepare the other 2 D materials.展开更多

[ Method] Based on Fe3O4 @ PAA-RB fluorescent nanoparticles as fluorescent probes, we have developed a novel fluorescence enhancement method for the determi- nation of an anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) through the gradual optimization of experiment conditions. [ Result] Under the opti- mum conditions, the extent of fluorescence enhancement is directly proportional to SDS concentration varying from 0.5 to 16.0 μmol/L, and the de- tection limit reaches 0.051 μmol/L. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for 4.0 μmol/L SDS is 3.3% ( n =6). The proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of SDS in environmental water samples, with recovery of 96.3% -105.5%. E Conclusion] The novel fluo- rescence enhancement method is not only simple and rapid, but also has avoided using tedious solvent-extraction and toxic organic solvents.展开更多

E Conclusion] The novel fluo- rescence enhancement method is not only simple and rapid, but also has avoided using tedious solvent-extraction and toxic organic solvents.

文摘In this work,we have presented a spin-coating method to produce thin films started with pure BiCrO3(BCO)and ended up with BiFeO3(BFO)by increasing x values in the(BiFeO3)x-(BiCrO3)1-x composites. All the produced thin films have been crystallized at the annealing temperatures of 400 ℃ for 0.5 h.The XRD and EDAX spectrums give insight that the two crystal phases related to BCO and BFO stayed together within the thin film matrices.SEM analysis showed that the prepared composite had macroporous morphology with interconnected pores and its width(size)decreased with increasing x values. The strong correlations are observed among the microstructure, dielectric, ferroelectric, ferromagnetic properties and Fe concentration.Among all composites, the composition of 0.75 shows an attractive magnetization, polarization, switching and improved dielectric behaviors at room temperature.Significant increase in the multiferroic characteristics of 0.75 composition is due to arise of lower leakage current by causing reduction in oxygen vacancy density, and enhancement of super-exchange magnetic interaction between Fe3+ and Cr3+ at BFO/BCO interface layers. Our result shows that the thin layer on Pt(111)/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate possesses simultaneously improved ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties which make an inaccessible potential application for nonvolatile ferroelectric memories.

文摘The big-tapered profiled ring disk is a key component of engines for rockets and missiles.A new forming technology,as called spinning-rolling process, has been proposed previously for the high performance, high efficiency and low-cost manufacturing of the component.Blank design is the key part of plastic forming process design. For spinning-rolling process, the shape and size of the blank play a crucial role in process stability, deformation behavior and dimensional accuracy. So this work proposes a blank design method to determine the geometry structure and sizes of the blank. The mathematical model for calculating the blank size has been deduced based on volume conservation and neutral layer length invariance principle. The FE simulation and corresponding trial production of an actual big-tapered profiled ring disk show that the proposed blank design method is applicative. In order to obtain a preferred blank, the influence rules of blank size determined by different deformation degrees(rolling ratio k)on the spinning-rolling process are revealed by comprehensive FE simulations.Overall considering the process stability, circularity of the deformed ring disk and forming forces,a reasonable range of deformation degree(rolling ratio k)is recommended for the blank design of the new spinning-rolling process.
