The analysis of these images reveals the relationships between the temporal-spatial evolution features of the interferometric deformation fields and locking, rupturing, and elastic restoring of the source rupture plane, which represent the processes of strain accumulation, strain release, and postseismic restoration. The result shows that 10 months prior to the Mani event, a left-lateral shear trend appeared in the seismic area, which was in accordance with the earthquake fault in nature. The quantity of local deformation on the north wall was slightly larger than that on the south wall, and the deformation distribution area of the north wall was relatively large. With the event impending, the deformation of the south wall varied increasingly, and the deformation center shifted eastward. Two and half monthd before the event, the west side of the fault was still locked while the east side began to slide, implying that the whole fault would rupture at any moment. These features can be regarded as short-term precursors to this earthquake. Within the period from 16 April 1996 to two and half months before the earthquake, the most remarkable deformation zones appeared in the north and south walls, which were parallel to and about 40 km apart from the fault, with accumulated local displacements of 344 mm and 251 mm on the north and south walls, respectively. The south wall was the active one with larger displacements. Five months after the earthquake, the distribution feature of interferometric fringes was just opposite to that prior to the event, expressing evident right-lateral shear. The recovered displacements are -179 mm on the north wall and -79 mm on the south wall, close to the east side of the fault. However, in the area of the south wall far from the fault there still existed a trend of sinistral motion. The deformation of the north wall was small but recovered fast in a larger area, while the active south wall began to recover from the east section of the fault toward the WSW.展开更多

The fluid conduit system at the time of intensive oil accumulation in the field was reconstructed, and petroleum migration pathways were modeled using a 3-D model and traced by geochemical parameters. The forward modeling and inversion tracing coincided with each other and both indicated that oils accumulated in the Puguang-Dongyuezhai structure originated from a generative kitchen to the northwest of the Puguang gas field. The deposition of organic-rich Upper Permian source rocks dominated by sapropelic organic matter in the Northeast Sichuan Basin, the development of fluid conduit system that was vertically near-source rock and laterally near-generative kitchen, and the focusing of oils originated from a large area of the generative kitchen, were the three requirements for the formation of the giant paleo-oil reservoir from which the giant Puguang gas field evolved. The Puguang gas field had experienced a three-stage evolution. The post-accumulation processes, especially the organic-inorganic interaction in the hydrocarbon-water-rock system, had not only profoundly altered the composition and characteristics of the petroleum fluids, but also obviously changed the physicochemical conditions in the reservoir and resulted in complicated precipitation and solution of carbonate minerals.展开更多

In this research,we have performed a shear failure experiment on rock samples with prefabricated cracks to simulate the process of plate movement that forms strike-slip faults. We studied the evolution law of the deformation field to simulate the shear failure experiment, and these results gave us a comprehensive understanding of the elaborate strain distribution law and its formation process with which to identify actual fault zones. We performed uniaxial compression tests on marble slabs with prefabricated double shear cracks to study the distribution and evolution of the deformation field during shear failure. Analysis of the strain field at different loading stages showed that with an increase in the load, the shear strain field initially changed to a disordered-style distribution. Further, the strain field was partially concentrated and finally completely concentrated near the crack and then distributed in the shape of a strip along the crack. We also computed coefficients of variation(CVs) for the physical quantities u, v, and exy, which varied with the load. The CV curves were found to correspond to the different loading stages. We found that at the uniform deformation stage, the CV value was small and changed slowly, whereas at the later nonuniform deformation stage, the CV value increased sharply and changed abruptly. Therefore, the precursor to a rock sample breakdown can be predicted by observing the variation characteristics of CV statistics. The correlation we found between our experimental and theoretical results revealed that our crack evolution and sample deformation results showed good coupling with seismic distribution characteristics near the San Andreas Fault.展开更多

Unlike the traditional single continuous wave (CW) pumping, an additional pump source consisting of periodical pulse train with variable repetition rate is adopted. The influences of the microresonator properties and the pump parameters on the field evolution and the electromagnetic field profile are analyzed. The simulation results indicate that, in the anomalous dispersion regime, both increases of the input pulse amplitude and the repetition frequency can result in the field profiles consisting of multiple peaks. A series of equidistant pulses can also be obtained by increasing the CW pump power. In addition, we find that a large physical detuning between the pump laser carrier and the cavity resonance frequency also causes the splitting of the inside field.展开更多

The hazardous area of strong mine pressure under different coal pillar widths is determined. Through simulation, it is known that when the width of the coal pillar is less than 20 m, there is large bearing capacity on the coal side of the roadway entity. The force on the side of the coal pillar is relatively small. When the width of the coal pillar ranges from 25 m to 45 m, the vertical stress on the roadway and surrounding areas is relatively high. Pressure relief measures need to be taken during mining to reduce surrounding rock stress. When the width of the coal pillar is greater than 45 m, the peak stress of the coal pillar is located in the deep part of the surrounding rock, but it still has a certain impact on the roadway. It is necessary to take pressure relief measures to transfer the stress to a deeper depth to ensure the stability of the triangular coal pillar during the safe mining period of the working face. This provides guidance for ensuring the stability of the triangular coal pillar during the safe mining period of the working face.展开更多

The thunderstorm rainfall, with the precipitation efficiency of 54%, lags 25-30 min behind the moisture flux convergence on the average.

文摘Gas injection-enhanced underground coal combustion for heat extraction represents a disruptive chemical fluidized extraction method of coal resources.Coal seam combustion dynamics provide crucial underpinnings for engineering realization. This study establishes an experimental system for monitoring temperature field evolution during gas-assisted combustion in cylindrical coal cores, investigating the influence of moisture content(0%,16%,24%)on gas-assisted combustion kinetics. Results showed moisture content significantly influences combustion:higher levels(16%-24%)delay high-temperature expansion(0-1 h)due to evaporation energy absorption, but subsequently enhance efficiency through pore formation and oxygen diffusion, achieving 1120-1230°C peaks.Dry coal exhibits rapid initial combustion(peak temperature of 1130°C within 1 h)but weaker sustained reactions. The temperature field evolves from localized hotspots to an elliptical high-temperature zone, with axial expansion rates surpassing radial rates, driven by thermal buoyancy and convective heat transfer.Moisture’s dual role is revealed:initially as a thermodynamic inhibitor and later as a promoter by increasing pore diameter and oxygen diffusion coefficients. An optimal moisture content of 16%balances initial heat loss with enhanced reactivity, offering practical insights for optimizing gas injection and thermal recovery in underground coal combustion.

文摘This study investigates the shear mechanical responses and debonding failure mechanisms of anchoring systems comprising three anisotropic media and two anisotropic interfaces under controlled boundary conditions of constant normal load(F_(s)),constant normal stiffness(K),and shear rate(v).A systematic analysis of shear mechanical properties, the evolution of maximum principal strain field, and damage characteristics along shear failure surface is presented. Results from direct shear tests demonstrate that initial shear slip diminishes with increasing F_(s)and K,attributed to the normal constraint strengthening effect, while an increase in v enhances initial shear slip due to attenuated deformation coordination and stress transfer. As F_(s)increases from 7.5 to 120 kN,K from 0 to 12 MPa/mm,and v from 0.1 to 2 mm/min,the peak shear load increases by 210.32%and 80.16%with rising F_(s)and K,respectively, while decreases by 38.57%with increasing v.Correspondingly, the shear modulus exhibits, respectively,a 135.29%and 177.06%increase with rising F_(s)and K,and a 37.03%decrease with larger v.Initial shear dilation is identified as marking the formation of shear failure surface along anisotropic interfaces, resulting from the combined shear actions at the resin bolt interface, where resin undergoes shear by bolt surface protrusions, and the resin-rock interface, where mutual shear occurs between resin and rock. With increasing F_(s)and K and decreasing v,the location of the shear failure surface shifts from the resin-rock interface to the resin-bolt interface, accompanied by a transition in failure mode from tensile rupture of resin to shear off at the resin surface.

文摘This study investigated the mechanical responses and debonding mechanisms of a bolt-resin-rock composite anchoring sys-tem subjected to cyclic shear loading.A systematic analysis was conducted on the effects of the initial normal load(Fsd),cyclic shear dis-placement amplitude(ud),frequency(f),and rock type on the shear load, normal displacement, shear wear characteristics, and strain field evolution. The experimental results showed that as Fsd increased from 7.5 to 120 kN,both the peak and residual shear loads exhibited in-creasing trends, with increments ranging from 1.98%to 35.25%and from 32.09%to 86.74%,respectively.The maximum shear load of each cycle declined over the cyclic shear cycles, with the rate of decrease slowing and stabilizing, indicating that shear wear primarily oc-curred at the initial cyclic shear stage.During cyclic shearing, the normal displacement decreased spirally with the shear displacement,im-plying continuous shear contraction. The spiral curves display sparse upwards and dense downward trends, with later cycles dominated by dynamic sliding along the pre-existing shear rupture surface, which is particularly evident in coal. The bearing capacity of the anchoring system varies with the rock type and is governed by the coal strength in coal,resin-rock bonding in sandstone#1 and sandstone#2,com-bined resin strength and resin-rock bonding in sandstone#3(sandstone#1,sandstone#2 and sandstone#3,increasing strength order),and resin strength and bolt-resin bonding in limestone.Cyclic shear loading induces anisotropic interfacial degradation, characterized by es-calating strain concentrations and predominant resin-rock interface debonding, with the damage severity modulated by the rock type.

文摘Henan Pingdingshan No.10 mine is prone to both coal and gas outbursts. The E_(9-10)coal seam is the main coal-producing seam but has poor quality ventilation, thus making it relatively difficult for gas extraction. The F_(15)coal seam,at its lower section,is not prone to coal and gas outbursts. The average seam separation distance of 150 m is greater than the upper limit for underside protective seam mining.Based on borehole imaging technology for field exploration of coal and rock fracture characteristics and discrete element numerical simulation,we have studied the evolution laws and distribution characteristics of the coal and rock fissure field between these two coal seams.By analysis of the influential effect of group F coal mining on the E_(9-10)coal seam,we have shown that a number of small fissures also develop in the area some 150 m above the overlying strata. The width and number of the fissures also increase with the extent of mining activity. Most of the fissures develop at a low angle or even parallel to the strata. The results show that the mining of the F_(15)coal seam has the effect of improving the permeability of the E_(9-10)coal seam.
文摘In this work, laser induced tungsten plasma has been investigated in the absence and presence of 0.6 T static transverse magnetic field at atmospheric pressure in air.The spectroscopic characterization of laser induced tungsten plasma was experimentally studied using space-resolved emission spectroscopy. The atomic emission lines of tungsten showed a significant enhancement in the presence of a magnetic field, while the ionic emission lines of tungsten presented little change.Temporal variation of the optical emission lines of tungsten indicated that the atomic emission time in the presence of a magnetic field was longer than that in the absence of a magnetic field, while no significant changes occurred for the ionic emission time. The spatial resolution of optical emission lines of tungsten demonstrated that the spatial distribution of atoms and ions were separated. The influence of a magnetic field on the spatial distribution of atoms was remarkable, whereas the spatial distribution of ions was little influenced by the magnetic field. The different behaviors between ions and atoms with and without magnetic field in air were related to the various atomic processes especially the electrons and ions recombination process during the plasma expansion and cooling process.

文摘We study the spatiotemporal evolution of the electromagnetic field inside a microresonator showing an anomalous dis- persion at the pump wavelength by using the normalized Lugiato--Lefever equation. In addition, we find that a large physical detuning between the pump laser carrier and the cavity resonance frequency also causes the splitting of the inside field.

文摘Current transient analysis predominantly relies on zero-dimensional/one-dimensional tools, proficient at capturing aerothermodynamic variations across critical engine stations but insufficient for analyzing the internal flow field evolution during transients.Addressing this gap,the study presents an enhanced quasi-three dimensional(quasi-3D)transient simulation technique that integrates component volume effects, offering a significant leap from the preceding quasi-3D transient simulation method based on quasi-steady assumption.By embedding the component volume effects on density, momentum, and energy within the physical temporal dimension of the Navier-Stokes equations, the refined quasi-3D transient model achieves a closer representation of physical phenomena.Validation against a single-shaft turbofan engine’s experimental data confirms the model’s accuracy.Average errors for key performance indicators, including shaft speed, thrust, mass flow rate, and critical component exit temperature and pressure, remain below 0.41%,5.69%,2.55%,3.18%and 0.67%,respectively.Crucially,the model exposes a discernible temporal lag in the compressor outlet pressure and temperature response due to volume effects—previously unquantified in quasi-3D transient simulations. And further exploration of the meridional flow field emphasizes the consequential role of volumes in transient flow field evolution.Incorporating volume effects within quasi-3D transient simulations enhances engine modeling and is pivotal for precise transient analysis in engine design and optimization.
文摘Taking the return air roadway of Tashan 8204 isolated island working face as the background, the evolution law of the stress field in the surrounding rock of the widened coal pillar area roadway during the mining period of the isolated island working face is obtained through numerical simulation. This provides guidance for ensuring the stability of the triangular coal pillar during the safe mining period of the working face.
