Mounting inter...Pyrolysis of Shenmu coal was performed in fixed-bed reactors indirectly heated by reducing operating pressure and mounting internals in the reactor to explore their synergetic effects on coal pyrolysis. Mounting internals particularly designed greatly improved the heat transfer inside coal bed and raised the yield of tar production.Reducing pressure further facilitated the production of tar through its suppression of secondary reactions occurring in the reactor. The absolute increase in tar yield reached 3.33 wt% in comparison with the pyrolysis in the reactor without internals under atmospheric pressure. The obtained tar yield in the reactor with internals under reduced pressure was even higher than the yield of Gray–King assay. Through experiments in a laboratory fixed bed reactor, it was also clarified that the effect of reducing pressure is related to volatile release rate in pyrolysis. It did not obviously vary tar yield at pyrolysis temperatures below 600 ℃, while the effect was evident at 650 and 700 ℃ but became limited again above 800 ℃. Under reduced pressure the produced tar contained more aliphatics and phenols but less aromatics.展开更多

Mechanically strong Janus poly(Nisopropylacrylamide)/graphene oxide(PNIPAM/GO) nanocomposite hydrogels with stimuli-responsive bending behaviors are prepared through a simple one-step method by using molds made of a Teflon plate and a glass plate. Residual oxygen in the air bubbles on the Teflon plate surface affects the polymerization and hence the cross-linking density, leading to the different swelling/deswelling rates of the two sides of the gels. Therefore, the hydrogels exhibit bending/unbending behaviors upon heating/cooling in water. The incorporation of GO nanosheets dramatically enhances the mechanical properties of Janus hydrogels. Meanwhile, the photo-responsive property of the GO nanosheets also imparts the hydrogels with remotecontrollable deformation under IR irradiation. The application of the Janus PNIPAM/GO hydrogels as thermo-responsive grippers is demonstrated.展开更多

The energy spectral value of LF current of a 5 day period is remarkably larger than that of a 3 day period. These periods reflect the correlations between the LF current variation and the LF water level variation.2) The feet that the 15-day period in the LF current spectra corresponds to the semi-monthly celestial tide period indicates that the tide-induced residual current is an important and most evident LF current component in the bay.3) The LF current spectral energy density in the northward direction is much larger than that in the eastward direction. Thus it brings fatigue to people after a long period of wearing. The research aims at optimizing shoulder fatigue and improving wearing comfort by means of changing the device-body contact material. After analyzing the current wearable exoskeletons ' weight, a standard load was set and a wearable exoskeleton was designed that could switch the weight. The experiment chose movement stability and change of cumulative pressure upon shoulder as the indexes of fatigue. The indexes were measured and analyzed before and after changing the contact material to memory foam with the standard load. The results showed promotion in action stability and obvious decrease in cumulative pressure upon shoulder.The experiment proves that the using of memory foam in wearable exoskeleton has evident effects on optimizing shoulder fatigue with load,promoting movement stability and wearing comfort.展开更多
In order to efficiently solve the shading problem between the upper layer and lower layer in the same cultivation system and between adjacent cultivation systems in multi-layer stereo-cultivation of strawberry,and to ...In order to efficiently solve the shading problem between the upper layer and lower layer in the same cultivation system and between adjacent cultivation systems in multi-layer stereo-cultivation of strawberry,and to improve the fixed A-frame system,a novel cultivation system-sun-tracking system was developed that could keep north-south line of cultivation frame parallel to sunray to make the best use of direct light.In this study,crop canopy light condition of sun-tracking and fixed systems were tested and compared.Results showed that integrated PPF of sun-tracking system is higher than that of fixed system in both middle and lower layers.On sunny day compared with fixed system,integrated PPF on middle and lower layer of suntracking system increased by 16.0%,9.1% in January and 19.6%,4.1% in February,while on cloudy day improvement on light condition of sun-tracking system is not evident as sunny days.Thus sun-tracking system can effectively alleviate shading problem between layers and improve plant canopy light environment.展开更多
