Research on the interactive coupling effect between urbanization and the eco-environment will be a popular area of study and frontier in international earth system science and sustainability science in the next 10 years, while also being a high-priority research topic of particular interest to international organizations. This paper systematically collates and summarizes the international progress made in research on interactive coupling theory, coupling relationships, coupling mechanisms, coupling laws, coupling thresholds, coupling models and coupling optimization decision support systems. The research shows that urbanization and eco-environment interactive coupling theories include the Kuznets curve theory, telecoupling theory, planetary boundaries theory, footprint family theory and urban metabolism theory; most research on interactive coupling relationships is concerned with single- element coupling relationships, such as those between urbanization and water, land, atmosphere, climate change, ecosystems and biodiversity; the majority of research on interactive coupling mechanisms and laws focuses on five research paradigms, including coupled human and nature systems, complex social-ecological systems, urban ecosystems, social-economic-natural complex ecosystems, and urbanization development and eco-environment constraint ring; the majority of interactive coupling simulations use STIRPAT models, coupling degree models, multi-agent system models and big data urban computer models; and research has been carried out on urbanization and eco-environment coupling thresholds, coercing risk and optimal decision support systems. An objective evaluation of progress in international research on interactive coupling between urbanization and the eco-environment suggests that there are six main research focal points and six areas lacking research: a lot of research exists on macroscopic coupling effects, with little research on urban agglomeration and scale coupling effects; considerable research exists on sin-gle-dimension coupling effects, with little on multiple-dimension coupling effects; a great deal exists on "one-to-one" dual- element coupling effects, with little on "many-to-many" multiple-element coupling effects; a lot exists on positive feedback coupling effects, and little on negative feedback coupling effects; a great deal exists on empirical coupling effects, and little on theoretical coupling effects; a great deal exists on the use of simple quantitative methods, and little on using integrated simulation methods. Future studies should focus on coupling effects between urbanization in urban agglomerations and the eco-environment, spatial scale coupling effects, multi-dimensional coupling effects, telecoupling effects, "one-to-many" and "many-to-many" element coupling effects, and positive and negative feedback coupling effects. There is also a need to strengthen the development and application of dynamic models for multi-element,-scale,-scenario,-module and-agent integrated spatiotemporal coupling systems and further improve theoretical innovations in coupling effect research and integrate and form complete and diverse coupling theoretical systems.展开更多

The present study included a nine-year-old severe spastic and athetoid cerebral palsy boy, who received 2 years of physical therapy, supplemented with drugs and orthotic devices and who acquired good therapeutic effects. The beneficial rehabilitative effects were as follows: After discharge, primitive reflex disappeared, and both vertical reflex and parachute reflex were found; In the establishment of balance reflex, sitting position was rated as level III, and standing position was rated as level II. The boy could independently walk for 30-50 meters. In the assessment of muscle tone, the level was rated according to the Modified Ashworth Scale and was decreased from three, four to one, two, and the level rated according to the Clonus Scale decreased from V to II. Motor function was noticeably improved. The level was rated according to the Gross Motor Function Classification System and was decreased from V to II. The total score of 88 items of the Gross Motor Function Measure was increased from 6.1% to 72.2%. The Berg Balance Scale score increased from 0 to 42. The Holden Walking Functional Classification level increased from 0 to 3. The score of activities of daily living increased from 9.5 to 70. The symptoms of dysarthria were alleviated from severe to moderate, and those of salivation were alleviated from level V to level I. These results demonstrated that after systemic and scientific treatment and training, the spastic and athetoid cerebral palsy boy had the ability to walk independently and to care for himself.展开更多

We observed that allicin, proanthocyanidins, polyphenols, eleutherosides, and isoflavones had higher antimutagenic activities than the other five types of bioactive phytochemicals. At the highest dose tested, MTX-induced genotoxicity was inhibited by 25%-75%. Kunming mice treated by MTX along with bioactive phytochemical combinations showed significant reduction in micronucleus induction and sperm abnormality rate (P〈0.01). These results indicate that bioactive phytochemical combinations can be potentially used as new cytoprotectors.展开更多

However, this action faces immense challenges due to the lack of early postearthquake data and the unreliability of forecasts. To obtain foundational data for sequence parameters of the land-sea adjacent zone and establish a reliable and operational aftershock forecasting framework, we combined the initial sequence parameters extracted from envelope functions and incorporated small-earthquake information into our model to construct a Bayesian algorithm for the early postearthquake stage. We performed parameter fitting and early postearthquake aftershock occurrence rate forecasting and effectiveness evaluation for 36 earthquake sequences with M ≥ 4.0 in the Bohai Rim region since 2010. According to the results, during the early stage after the mainshock, earthquake sequence parameters exhibited relatively drastic fl uctuations with signifi cant errors. The integration of prior information can mitigate the intensity of these changes and reduce errors. The initial and stable sequence parameters generally display advantageous distribution characteristics, with each parameter’s distribution being relatively concentrated and showing good symmetry and remarkable consistency. The sequence parameter p-values were relatively small, which indicates the comparatively slow attenuation of signifi cant earthquake events in the Bohai Rim region. A certain positive correlation was observed between earthquake sequence parameters b and p. However, sequence parameters are unrelated to the mainshock magnitude, which implies that their statistical characteristics and trends are universal. The Bayesian algorithm revealed a good forecasting capability for aftershocks in the early postearthquake period (2 h) in the Bohai Rim region, with an overall forecasting effi cacy rate of 76.39%. The proportion of “too low” failures exceeded that of “too high” failures, and the number of forecasting failures for the next three days was greater than that for the next day.展开更多

文摘Brain functional networks model the brain's ability to exchange information across different regions, aiding in the understanding of the cognitive process of human visual attention during target searching, thereby contributing to the advancement of camouflage evaluation. In this study, images with various camouflage effects were presented to observers to generate electroencephalography(EEG)signals, which were then used to construct a brain functional network. The topological parameters of the network were subsequently extracted and input into a machine learning model for training. The results indicate that most of the classifiers achieved accuracy rates exceeding 70%.Specifically,the Logistic algorithm achieved an accuracy of 81.67%.Therefore,it is possible to predict target camouflage effectiveness with high accuracy without the need to calculate discovery probability. The proposed method fully considers the aspects of human visual and cognitive processes, overcomes the subjectivity of human interpretation, and achieves stable and reliable accuracy.
文摘It has often been thought that severe spastic and athetoid cerebral palsy children respond poorly to rehabilitative training effects and have a poor prognosis after school age. These results demonstrated that after systemic and scientific treatment and training, the spastic and athetoid cerebral palsy boy had the ability to walk independently and to care for himself.

文摘Combined application of organic fertilizer is an effective measure to improve the productivity and ecological effect of newly added soil. However, the effect of organic fertilizer application in newly added orchard soil is not clear. In this project, the soil of newly built peach orchard in the Longquan Mountain of Chengdu was applied with 45 t/hm 2 of organic fertilizer. After 9 months of planting 6 varieties of honey peach(Wanhujing,Baifeng,Zhongtao 13,Huangjinmitao 1,Zhongpan 101,Zhongpan 104),the locally well developed peach orchard was taken as the control. The physical and chemical properties of soil from four topography(top slope, middle slope, lower slope and flat land)of newly built peach orchard were analyzed, and the effect of organic fertilizer on soil was evaluated. The results showed that combined application of organic fertilizer had different effects on soils from orchards with different varieties of peach and from different terrain parts of the same peach variety.Specifically,it had the best effect on soil improvement in Baifeng(local variety),Zhongpan 101 and Zhongpan 104(introduced varieties).Meanwhile, the best effect of soil improvement was found on top slope.Cluster analysis divided newly built peach orchards, uncultivated soil, and locally well developed peach orchard into four groups, indicating that the selected amount of organic fertilizer application in this study has improved the soil of peach orchards to some extent, but it was still necessary to increase the application amount. It was better for 54 t/hm 2 amount of organic fertilization on the part of top and middle slope, and 60 t/hm 2 on the lower slope and flat land. The comprehensive ecological benefit assessment of organic fertilizer should be conducted based on long-term monitoring of peach orchard ecological environment, fruit tree growth, fruit yield and quality, which would provide scientific basis for peach orchard production and management.

文摘We evaluated the antimutagenic effects kinds of bioactive phytochemicals and of 10 some phytochemical combinations against methotrexate (MTX)-induced genotoxicity by the umu test in Salmonella typhimurium TA1535/rpSK1002 combined with a micronucleus assay. These results indicate that bioactive phytochemical combinations can be potentially used as new cytoprotectors.

文摘Hatchery release is a common and effective practice for protecting and restoring wild resources, and the success of the practice is commonly assessed using mark-recapture technology. We investigated the use of different dimensional X-ray imaging techniques for the strontium(Sr)marking of fish fin rays for stocking.Megalobrama amblycephala juveniles were marked by culturing specimens in 800-mg/L SrCl_(2)·6 H_(2)O solution, the cross-sections of dorsal fin rays were subsequently obtained, and the concentrations Sr was analyzed by 2 D imaging using an electron probe X-ray microanalyzer. Our preliminary findings indicate that the immersion marking method is effective for the Sr marking of fin rays in experimental fish. Moreover,we generated a bird’s-eye-view 3 D mesh image of the Sr concentrations, which can provide a more comprehensive information for fish stocking than that using normal 2 D imaging.

文摘Climate change is increasingly affecting all aspects of protected areas management from changes of species ranges to visitor experiences.Due to these impacts, there is a need for managers to take more robust approaches to con-sidering the implications of climate change on the overall application and efficacy of protected areas management direction, including the achievement of the goals and objectives contained within management plans.Through a systematic and comprehensive content analysis approach, this study assesses the current extent to which climate change is considered in Canadian protected area management plans.Specifically,we evaluated 63 terrestrial protected area management plans against a set of climate robustness principles. Our content analysis revealed that climate change is currently not effectively factored into Canadian protected area management plans with an average climate robustness score of 18%.Climate robustness score was not found to be correlated with protected area size,International Union for the Conservation of Nature(IUCN)management classification,or jurisdictional authority.Certain climate robustness principles received higher scores across the management plans than oth-ers.For example, the principles of‘diverse knowledge sources’and‘addresses climate change’scored relatively highly whereas‘climate change vulnerability’and‘ecosystem integrity’received the lowest scores. The lack of integration of ecological integrity considerations in management plans was a particularly noteworthy deficiency considering that this guiding principle is the primary legislative objective of many national and sub-national protected areas in Canada. From this assessment, climate change needs to be more effectively and consistently integrated into protected area management plan development and coordinated across associated planning pro-cesses.We discuss the ways in which this can be achieved, for example,by integrating scenario planning into organizational management plan development processes.
文摘The early involvement of test and evaluation can significantly reduce the cost of modifying issues and errors found in the later stages of aircraft development and design process. This paper presents a methodology for aircraft mission effectiveness evaluation and design space exploration based on Virtual Operational Test(VOT),incorporating Virtual Open Scenario(VOS)and User in Scenarios(UIS)concepts.By employing modeling and simulation technologies in the early stages of aircraft development and design,a virtual environment can be constructed, allowing aircraft users to participate more closely and conveniently in the design process.Virtual tests conducted by users within the mission context provide data on mission effectiveness and critical user feedback. This paper outlines the main components of the virtual operational test process and related conceptual methods, and discusses an open support system framework that supports VOT.The effectiveness and adaptability of the method are demonstrated through two case studies:a beyond-visual-range air combat scenario and a helicopter ground attack scenario. These case studies demonstrate the evaluation of aircraft mission effectiveness and the sensitivity analysis and optimization of design and operational parameters based on VOT.

文摘Mine water pollution caused by improper discharge of industrial wastewater, waste liquid and waste residue into minedout areas is a new form of pollution occurred in China in recent years. This kind of pollution is buried deeply, and it is difficult to control, dispose and repair.Deep contaminated mine water from abandoned mining areas may even enter the ocean, posing a great threat to marine ecosystems. In this study, using a water pollution incident occurred in a coal field at a depth of 80 m in Shandong Province,China,in 2015,as an example, the methods of engineering block disposal and groundwater remediation are reported, and the remediation effects are tested and evaluated by in-situ chemical detection and geophysical surveys. The test results showed that engineering blocking measures such as cut-off walls can obviously block the DNAPL diffusion process in mine water, but the blocking effect on organic pollutants dissolved in water was limited. It can slow down the diffusion process of organic gas.The presence of mining tunnels and mined-out areas in the contaminated zone enhances the diffusion speed of various pollutants, especially during the remediation process when pollutants rapidly spread throughout the entire contaminated area.Groundwater circulation extraction and oxidation methods have a significant degradation effect on pollutants like dichloromethane, but they may generate a large amount of secondary gaseous pollutants. These gaseous pollutants may migrate to the shallow subsurface through structures such as faults, leading to secondary subsurface contamination. When designing remediation plans,it is crucial to strike a balance between blocking and guiding in the context of both blocking and restoration projects for achieving effective remediation.
文摘Against the backdrop of in-depth globalization and the rise of cultural mutual learning, the international communication of China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage(ICH)has become a key vehicle for enhancing China’s cultural soft power and engaging in global cultural dialogue. However,in cross-cultural contexts, this communication faces structural dilemmas at multiple levels. From a cross-cultural perspective, this study proposes targeted solutions to address these dilemmas. The ultimate goal is to promote the transformation of China’s ICH international communication from“symbolic display”to“meaning sharing”and from“cultural output”to“value resonance”,thereby enhancing the effectiveness of cross-cultural communication and advancing the global recognition of China’s ICH.

文摘Disaster mitigation necessitates scientifi c and accurate aftershock forecasting during the critical 2 h after an earthquake. The proportion of “too low” failures exceeded that of “too high” failures, and the number of forecasting failures for the next three days was greater than that for the next day.
文摘To overcome the limitations of conventional approaches that adopt monolithic architectures and overlook critical dynamic interactions in evaluating combat effectiveness and subsystem contributions within amphibious operations, this paper proposes an integrated framework combining complex system network modeling with dynamic adversarial simulation for evaluating mission-critical system-of-systems(SoS).Specifically,the contribution rate of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)to the amphibious joint landing SoS(AJLSoS)is quantified.Firstly,a standardized network topology model is developed using operation loop theory, systematically characterizing node functionalities and their interdependencies.Secondly, the ideal Lanchester equation is augmented according to the model’s static operational capability, and an amphibious operational simulation model is constructed based on the modified equation, enabling dynamic simulation of force attrition and engagement duration as key performance indicators of AJLSoS.To validate the theoretical framework,a battalion-level amphibious campaign scenario is developed to compute effectiveness metrics across multiple control scenarios and the contribution rate of UAVs to AJLSoS is analyzed. This study not only provides actionable insights for operational mission planning of UAVs in the context of amphibious operations but also demonstrates high adaptability to diverse operational contexts.
