Polysocoharibe-peptide of Coriolus Versicolor (PSP) is a new anti-cancer immunomodulative drug. The present paper reports on the experimental research done with this drug. It was found that PSP had the ability to reco...Polysocoharibe-peptide of Coriolus Versicolor (PSP) is a new anti-cancer immunomodulative drug. The present paper reports on the experimental research done with this drug. It was found that PSP had the ability to recover hemolysin HC50, to increase the weight of the thymus, and increase the alexin of serum C3 and the IgG content of tumor bearing mice. FSP also significantly raised the pha-gocytic activity of macrophages in normal mice. PSP had a significant inhibitory effect on P38S and S180 cells. At the concentration of 1 mg/ml, PSP inhibited the proliferating activity of some human tumor call lines, such as SGC 7901, SPC, SLY and Mei. It had a direct toxic effect on SPC cells. PSP significantly inhibited the synthesis of nucleic acids of Ehrlich ascites carcinoma cells. In addition, PSP was antagonistic to the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.展开更多

However, there are some issues that are difficult to solve on the current healthcare status, including the lack of medical care satisfaction in rural areas and urban areas, excessive consumption of medical resources, conflict and tension between the healthcare provider and patients, and the problems caused by the change of model of healthcare. Therefore, the State Council introduced the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Deepening the Health Care System Reform in 2009 in order to provide basic, safe, effective, convenient and affordable healthcare for all residents. Despite the goals and policies set by the government, how to implement them remains to be challenging. Like evidence-based medicine, comparative effective research ( CER ) which started in the US in 2000 's can provide diagnosis and treatment information for patients, doctors, and health policy makers to make decisions on the effective ways of caring for both individual and population. It also may apply to the conditions of healthcare reform in China. And there are opportunities and challenges of conducting CER in our country. We suggest that the government should establish the national-level CER research institute, CER Leadership Committee and relevant standards, fund the CER projects, and begin CER in certain disciplines.展开更多

Objective: To review traditional and modern models. Results, and Conclusions: 1) Logit and probit transformations are often successfully used to mimic a linear model. Logistic regression, Cox regression, Poisson regression, and Markow modeling are examples of logit transformation;2) Either the x- or y-axis or both of them can be logarithmically transformed. Also Box Cox transformation equations and ACE (alternating conditional expectations) or AVAS (additive and variance stabilization for regression) packages are simple empirical methods often successful for linearly remodeling of non-linear data;3) Data that are sinusoidal, can, generally, be successfully modeled using polynomial regression or Fourier analysis;4) For exponential patterns like plasma concentration time relationships exponential modeling with or without Laplace transformations is a possibility. Methods: fifty patients with recurrent abortion who received from August 2018 to Augus...Objective: to consider the application effect of Shoutai pill combined with dydrogesterone in the treatment of recurrent abortion. Methods: fifty patients with recurrent abortion who received from August 2018 to August 2019 were selected as the research subjects. According to the length of hospital stay, they were divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 25 patients in each group. All patients were required to take dydrogesterone. In addition, the experimental group also needed to combine Shoutai pills. Next, the clinical total effective rate, pregnancy outcome, TCM syndrome score and other numbering conditions were compared between the two groups. Results: in terms of the total effective rate, the experimental group was 96%, while the control group was 72%, the difference between the two groups was significant (P < 0.05). At the same time, the success rate of pregnancy in the experimental group (72.00%) was higher than that in the control group (24.00%), while the score of TCM symptoms in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with statistical advantages between groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the comprehensive treatment of dydrogesterone + Shoutai pill for patients with recurrent abortion has significant clinical effect, which can greatly improve the success rate of pregnancy and relieve the pain of lower abdomen, waist and knee pain and other adverse reactions.展开更多

Methods: during the research period from January 2020 to January 2022, 66 children with non traumatic acute abdomen were taken as the research sample data to explore the diagnostic intervention methods and analyze their clinical application effects. 66 children with non traumatic acute abdomen were diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasound, and compared with pathological diagnosis as the "gold standard", The disease detection rate (acute appendicitis, mesenteric lymphadenitis, intestinal obstruction, intussusception and cholecystitis) was analyzed. Methods: 60 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis recently received...Objective: the purpose of this article is to study the clinical effect of holistic intervention in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis (cag). Methods: 60 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis recently received by our hospital were selected, and the research objects were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the numerical table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was given routine treatment and nursing, while the observation group was given holistic nursing intervention. The actual effect and situation of the two groups of nursing intervention were analyzed and compared. Results: after nursing, the results of the two groups were compared and analyzed. It was found that the patients in the observation group had significantly improved their mastery of health care knowledge and their effective ability of self-management. The total effective rate of the patients in the final treatment was significantly increased, and the quality of life was also improved. The patients' satisfaction with nursing was relatively high. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of holistic nursing intervention technology in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis can promote the patients' self-understanding degree, self-supervision and prevention ability and the effect of disease self-prevention, and effectively improve the quality of life of patients.展开更多
OBJECTIVE: To examine whether electric acupuncture can improve the daily life of patients with ischemic cerebral apoplexy at acute stage.METHODS: A stratified-block randomized controlled multicenter trial was designed...OBJECTIVE: To examine whether electric acupuncture can improve the daily life of patients with ischemic cerebral apoplexy at acute stage.METHODS: A stratified-block randomized controlled multicenter trial was designed for this study.Totally 340 patients with acute ischemic cerebral apoplexy were randomly divided into an electric acupuncture group and a control group. In the electric acupuncture group, 170 patients were treated with electric acupuncture and routine therapy, and170 patients in the control group with routine therapy alone. Major indexes for judging curative effect were Barthel index at 3- and 6- months follow-up visits and number of re-hospitalized patients. Mi-nor indexes for judging curative effect were change in the score for nervous dysfunction at 4and 12 weeks follow-up visits and number of patients persisting in rehabilitation treatment with acupuncture during follow-up visit.RESULTS: Baseline data at the time of case selection between the two groups were similar. The odds ratio(OR) was 0.92, and the 95% confidence interval(CI) was 0.49-1.73 in disabled rate and 0.73 and 0.51-1.05 in the number of re-hospitalized patients in the electric acupuncture group at 6-month follow up visit compared with the control group.There was no difference in the score for nervous dysfunction at the end of 12-week follow-up visit between the two groups. The score for nervous dysfunction at the end of 4-week treatment in the electric acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The number of patients discharged from hospital who persisted in rehabilitation treatment with acupuncture in the acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the control group.CONCLUSION: Using electric acupuncture to treat patients with acute ischemic cerebral apoplexy can effectively improve the nervous dysfunction scores after 4-week treatment and their ability to deal with daily life after 6-month follow-up visit. Systematic treatment with acupuncture may also reduce the number of patients with secondary apoplexy.展开更多

The control group was given routine treatment and nursing, while the observation group was given holistic nursing intervention. The actual effect and situation of the two groups of nursing intervention were analyzed and compared. Results: after nursing, the results of the two groups were compared and analyzed. It was found that the patients in the observation group had significantly improved their mastery of health care knowledge and their effective ability of self-management. The total effective rate of the patients in the final treatment was significantly increased, and the quality of life was also improved. The patients' satisfaction with nursing was relatively high. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of holistic nursing intervention technology in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis can promote the patients' self-understanding degree, self-supervision and prevention ability and the effect of disease self-prevention, and effectively improve the quality of life of patients.

文摘OBJECTIVE: To examine whether electric acupuncture can improve the daily life of patients with ischemic cerebral apoplexy at acute stage.METHODS: A stratified-block randomized controlled multicenter trial was designed for this study.Totally 340 patients with acute ischemic cerebral apoplexy were randomly divided into an electric acupuncture group and a control group. In the electric acupuncture group, 170 patients were treated with electric acupuncture and routine therapy, and170 patients in the control group with routine therapy alone. Major indexes for judging curative effect were Barthel index at 3- and 6- months follow-up visits and number of re-hospitalized patients. Mi-nor indexes for judging curative effect were change in the score for nervous dysfunction at 4and 12 weeks follow-up visits and number of patients persisting in rehabilitation treatment with acupuncture during follow-up visit.RESULTS: Baseline data at the time of case selection between the two groups were similar. The odds ratio(OR) was 0.92, and the 95% confidence interval(CI) was 0.49-1.73 in disabled rate and 0.73 and 0.51-1.05 in the number of re-hospitalized patients in the electric acupuncture group at 6-month follow up visit compared with the control group.There was no difference in the score for nervous dysfunction at the end of 12-week follow-up visit between the two groups. The score for nervous dysfunction at the end of 4-week treatment in the electric acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The number of patients discharged from hospital who persisted in rehabilitation treatment with acupuncture in the acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the control group.CONCLUSION: Using electric acupuncture to treat patients with acute ischemic cerebral apoplexy can effectively improve the nervous dysfunction scores after 4-week treatment and their ability to deal with daily life after 6-month follow-up visit. Systematic treatment with acupuncture may also reduce the number of patients with secondary apoplexy.

The process of bringing evidence-based medicine into clinical practice in CAM is essential for the growth and strengthening of complementary medicines worldwide.
