This study employs bibliometric methods to conduct an empirical analysis of 53 vocational education projects approved under the National Education Science Planning(NESP)Program between 2020 and 2024 in higher vocation...This study employs bibliometric methods to conduct an empirical analysis of 53 vocational education projects approved under the National Education Science Planning(NESP)Program between 2020 and 2024 in higher vocational institutions(HVI)across China.The aim is to reveal the current state,developmental trajectory,key characteristics,and future directions of research in higher vocational education.The findings indicate that the number and categories of approved projects are significantly influenced by national policy orientations,exhibiting notable fluctuations and overall imbalances in distribution.The geographical distribution of project-leading institutions is uneven,and the distinctive characteristics of higher vocational colleges have yet to be fully demonstrated.While the research themes increasingly align with national vocational education policies,the construction of research teams remains weak.Based on the structural analysis of the approved projects,it is recommended that HVI focus on type-based positioning,coordinate research capacity with regional development needs,optimize the allocation of research resources,concentrate on key tasks such as quality improvement and excellence cultivation,and enhance the research motivation of young faculty members.These efforts are essential for advancing vocational education research toward a new stage of high-quality development.展开更多

Open-source large language models(LLMs)research has made significant progress,but most studies predominantly focus on general-purpose English data,which poses challenges for LLM research in Chinese education.To addres...Open-source large language models(LLMs)research has made significant progress,but most studies predominantly focus on general-purpose English data,which poses challenges for LLM research in Chinese education.To address this,this research first reviewed and synthesized the core technologies of representative open-source LLMs,and designed an advanced 1.5Bparameter LLM tailored for the Chinese education field.Chinese education large language model(CELLM)is trained from scratch,involving two stages,namely,pretraining and instruction fine-tuning.In the pre-training phase,an open-source dataset is utilized for the Chinese education domain.During the instruction fine-tuning stage,the Chinese instruction dataset is developed and open-sourced,comprising over 258,000 data entries.Finally,the results and analysis of CELLM across multiple evaluation datasets are presented,which provides a reference baseline performance for future research.All of the models,data,and codes are opensource to foster community research on LLMs in the Chinese education domain.展开更多
Think-aloud protocols have drawn much attention over the past two decades.Given the expanse of the relevant literature,we narrow our focus on core papers on the application of this research method to EFL education res...Think-aloud protocols have drawn much attention over the past two decades.Given the expanse of the relevant literature,we narrow our focus on core papers on the application of this research method to EFL education research in China in the past 25 years,aiming to summarize the achievements of its application to EFL education rescarch and discover the problems in the current rescarch.In this systematic review,a total of 53 articles are retrieved.Adopting the methodologial synthesis,we analyze the artidles from the perspectives of the research trend,research arcas,rescarch design,data collection,data analysis,and presentation of results.It is found that the overall number of studies using think-aloud in EFL education is insufficient.The research using think aloud in EFL writing accounts for the highest proportion,while few studies on EFL listening and speaking via this research method are conducted.Tertiary-level students are the most popular participants in the studies using think aloud protocols.In addition,the descriptions of the data collection and data analysis processes are insuficient.Based on these findings,implications for teachers,curriculum designers,and researchers in EFL education are further discussed.展开更多

It describes the influence of the videotaped supervision on the process, functions of monitoring, and evaluation of educational practices, starting with an empirical model that has guided the interventions in a study of supervision on training aimed at consolidating and developing professional skills in music education in early childhood. Reports in a book on randomized trials by Mosteller and Boruch are used as a benchmark. The initiatives have been driven heavily by recent governmental emphasis on ＂evidence based policy＂ in education, criminology, welfare and other sectors. This policy has been backed, in the US at least, by substantial investments in mounting randomized controlled trials to evaluate curriculum packages and programs in grades K-12, crime prevention programs, welfare, and other work. Accelerated growth in randomized trials has entailed cross discipline pre-doctoral and post-doctoral institutes and graduate education programs aimed at enhancing the quality in trial design, execution, and analysis of results. Specific illustrations of graduate education in this area of statistics are taken mainly from experience at the University of Pennsylvania＇s Graduate School of Education and selected other institutions.展开更多

文摘Since the new era in China,the long-term traditional rural development path,characterized by the“pollute first,treat later”model,has proven insufficient to meet the needs of sustainable development.The growing contradiction between rural economic development and ecological environmental degradation urgently needs to be addressed.Under the guidance of the Party and the state,there is a strong emphasis on green rural development,making the transformation of the rural green development path imperative.This paper takes rural ecological development as the research basis and innovatively integrates the“educational research”model,aiming to provide practical strategies for the sustainable development of abandoned mine rural landscapes.Taking Datukuang in Xinhe Village,Dadukou District,Chongqing as an example,this project breaks through the technical path dependence of traditional engineering restoration,creatively implants research function modules such as natural education,geological science popularization,and ecological experience,transforming the abandoned mine pit into a composite ecological education demonstration base integrating environmental restoration,science popularization education,and cultural tourism experience.It has opened up a new paradigm for rural revitalization with“mine restoration+research economy”,providing an innovative practice sample for solving the transformation dilemma of resource-based villages.
