In order to solve the complex wiring and low reliability of conventional light control system,an automobile contactless switch light system is designed combined with Hall element and controller area network (CAN) bu...In order to solve the complex wiring and low reliability of conventional light control system,an automobile contactless switch light system is designed combined with Hall element and controller area network (CAN) bus technology.The processing system of electromagnetic compatibility controlled by CAN bus is improved to reduce the electromagnetic interference from the controller and other sources of interference.With Freescale's high-performance single-chip MC9S08DZ60 and CAN transceiver TJA1050,the overall circuit design and software design are presented.The test results show that the designed light control system is feasible.展开更多

In recent years, Japan, and especially rural areas have faced the growing problems of debt-ridden local railway lines along with the population decline and aging population. Therefore, it is best to consider the disco...In recent years, Japan, and especially rural areas have faced the growing problems of debt-ridden local railway lines along with the population decline and aging population. Therefore, it is best to consider the discontinuation of local railway lines and introduce replacement buses to secure the transportation methods of the local people especially in rural areas. Based on the above background, targeting local railway lines that may be discontinued in the near future, appropriate bus stops when provided with potential bus stops were selected, the present study proposed a method that introduces routes for railway replacement buses adopting ant colony optimization (ACO). The improved ACO was designed and developed based on the requirements set concerning the route length, number of turns, road width, accessibility of railway lines and zones without bus stops as well as the constraint conditions concerning the route length, number of turns and zones without bus stops. Original road network data were generated and processed adopting a geographic information systems (GIS), and these are used to search for the optimal route for railway replacement buses adopting the improved ACO concerning the 8 zones on the target railway line (JR Kakogawa line). By comparing the improved ACO with Dijkstra’s algorithm, its relevance was verified and areas needing further improvements were revealed.展开更多
This paper introduces and analyzes Korea's NGV (natural gas vehicles) policy for soot-free bus fleet which intends to promote CNG (compressed natural gas) bus in metropolitan area for the reduction of air polluti...This paper introduces and analyzes Korea's NGV (natural gas vehicles) policy for soot-free bus fleet which intends to promote CNG (compressed natural gas) bus in metropolitan area for the reduction of air pollution from road sector. At the early stage, Korean goverrmaent established various supporting policy systems to encourage public transportation companies to purchase CNG buses as a means to replace diesel buses. It was evaluated as very successful with making net economic benefit of CNG bus promotion policy. During the 2nd stage, Korean government implemented CNG hybrid bus promotion policy to further reduce both air pollution and greenhouse gas. Now, a new social demand for the vehicles is zero-emission vehicles. The author asserts that current FCEV (fuel cell electric vehicle) should be considered as an alternative to zero-emission vehicles in Korea and suggests policy recommendation for the promotion of FCEV by referring the current CNG bus promotion policy in public transportation sector.展开更多
