When a porous rock is subjected to overall compressive loading,either increasing pore pressure or decreasing confining pressure could result in rock failure.The stress path and the applied pressure change rate may aff...When a porous rock is subjected to overall compressive loading,either increasing pore pressure or decreasing confining pressure could result in rock failure.The stress path and the applied pressure change rate may affect the initiation and propagation of fractures within brittle materials.Understanding the physical mechanisms leading to failure is crucial for underground engineering applications and geo-energy exploration and storage.We conducted triaxial compression experiments on porous Bentheim sandstone samples at different stress paths and pressure change rates.First,at a constant confining pressure of 35 MPa and pore pressure of 5 MPa,intact cylindrical samples were axially loaded up to about 85%of the peak strength.Subsequently,the axial piston position was fixed,and then either the pore pressure was increased or the confining pressure was decreased at two different rates(0.5 MPa/min or 2 MPa/min),leading to final catastrophic failure.The mechanical results revealed that samples subjected to higher rates of decreasing effective confining pressure exhibited larger stress drop rates,higher slip rates,higher total breakdown work,higher rates of acoustic emissions(AEs)before failure,and higher post-failure AE decay rates.In contrast,the applied stress path did not significantly affect rock failure characteristics.Comparison of located AE events with post-mortem microstructures of deformed samples shows a good agreement.The AE source type determined from the P-wave first-motion polarity shows that shear failure dominated the fracture process when approaching failure.Gutenberg-Richter b-values revealed a significant decrease before failure in all tests.Our results indicate that,in contrast to the stress path,the rate of effective stress change strongly affects fracturing behavior and AE rate changes.展开更多
Background:Transrectal(TR)and transperineal(TP)biopsies are commonly used methods for diagnosing prostate cancer.However,their comparative effectiveness in conjunction with machine learning(ML)techniques remains under...Background:Transrectal(TR)and transperineal(TP)biopsies are commonly used methods for diagnosing prostate cancer.However,their comparative effectiveness in conjunction with machine learning(ML)techniques remains underexplored.This study aimed to evaluate the predictive accuracy of ML algorithms in detecting prostate cancer using data derived from TR and TP biopsies.Methods:The clinical records of patients who underwent prostate biopsy at King Saud University Medical City and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centerin Riyadh,Saudi Arabia,between 2018 and 2025 were analyzed.Data were used to train and testMLmodels,including eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost),Decision Tree,Random Forest,and Extra Trees.Results:The two datasets are comparable.The models demonstrated exceptional performance,achieving accuracies of up to 96.49%and 95.56%on TP and TR biopsy datasets,respectively.The area under the curve(AUC)values were also high,reaching 0.9988 for TP and 0.9903 for TR biopsy predictions.Conclusion:These findings highlight the potential of MLto enhance the diagnostic accuracy of prostate cancer detection irrespective of the biopsy method.However,TP biopsy data showed marginally higher accuracy,possibly because of the lower risk of contamination.While ML holds great promise for transforming prostate cancer care,further research is needed to address limitations.Collaboration between clinicians,data scientists,and researchers is crucial to ensure the clinical relevance and interpretability of ML models.展开更多
Twenty-one typical coupled large samples were chosen from areas within and surrounding nature reserves on the Tibetan Plateau using the large sample comparison method(LSCM).To evaluate the effectiveness of the nature ...Twenty-one typical coupled large samples were chosen from areas within and surrounding nature reserves on the Tibetan Plateau using the large sample comparison method(LSCM).To evaluate the effectiveness of the nature reserves in protecting the ecological environment,the alpine grassland net primary production(NPP) of these coupled samples were compared and the differences between them before and after their establishment as protected areas were analyzed.The results showed that:(1) With respect to the alpine grassland NPP,the ecological and environmental conditions of most nature reserves were more fragile than those of the surrounding areas and also lower than the average values for the Tibetan Plateau.(2) Of the 11 typical nature reserves selected,the positive trend in the NPP for Manzetang was the most significant,whereas there was no obvious trend in Taxkorgan.With the exception of Selincuo,the annual NPP growth rate in the nature reserves covered by alpine meadow and wetland was higher than that in nature reserves consisting of alpine steppe and alpine desert.(3) There were notable findings in 21 typical coupled samples:(a) After the establishment of the nature reserves,the annual rate of increase in the NPP in 76% of samples inside nature reserves and 82% of samples inside national nature reserves was higher than that of the corresponding samples outside nature reserves.(b) The effectiveness of ecological protection of the Mid-Kunlun,Changshagongma,Zoige and Selincuo(Selin Co) nature reserves was significant; the effectiveness of protection was relatively sig-nificant in most parts of the Sanjiangyuan and Qiangtang nature reserves,whereas in south-east Manzetang and north Taxkorgan the protection effectiveness was not obvious.(c) The ecological protection effectiveness was significant in nature reserves consisting of alpine meadow,but was weak in nature reserves covered by alpine steppe.This study also shows that the advantage of large sample comparison method in evaluating regional ecology change.Careful design of the samples used,to ensure comparability between the samples,is crucial to the success of this LSCM.展开更多

In addition, the effects of all the tested materials on the composition and output of fecal bile acid were observed. All four kinds of dietary fiber were given at a level of 5% of diet to young male rats of Wistar strain fed on a lipid-rich diet contalning 5 % lard, 1% cholesteral and 0. 25 % cholate. All the dietary fibers tested have similar effects on serum lipid composition. In all groups, these substances prevent ed increases in total cholesterol in fasting serum, but the level of triglyceride was tmchangd.The concentrations of totaI cholesterol and triglyceride in the liver were lower in the RKM group than in the control group and the other three groups. Hepatic histopathological exami nation also showed the most significant lipotropic effect in the RKM group. The daily output of fecal bile acids (CDCA+GDCA) was significantly increased in the four experimental groups than in the normal group and the control group. The increase of CDCA was more significant than GDCA, suggesting that the increase of fecal bile acids, especially CDCA, may be one of the mechanisms by which RKM and the other three dietary fibers exerts a hypocholesterolemic effect展开更多
Introduction:Surgeons typically prefer 270μm and 272μm laser probes in retrograde intrarenal surgery(RIRS)due to the reduced deflection capacity of flexible ureterorenoscopes when using larger probe diameters.This s...Introduction:Surgeons typically prefer 270μm and 272μm laser probes in retrograde intrarenal surgery(RIRS)due to the reduced deflection capacity of flexible ureterorenoscopes when using larger probe diameters.This study aims to investigate the effects of 272 and 365μm holmium laser probes on operative time,clinical efficacy,and complication rates in RIRS.Materials and Methods:A total of 285 patients with proximal ureteral or kidney stones who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the study.Patients were divided into two groups based on laser probe thickness:272μm and 365μm.Stone-free rates,operative time,and complication rates were compared between the groups.Factors affecting stone-free rates were analyzed using multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results:Patient and stone characteristics were similar between the two groups.No significant differences were found in stone-free or complication rates.However,operative time was significantly shorter in the 365μm probe group.In univariate analysis,risk factors for postoperative residual stones included multi-calyceal stones,lower pole stones,high Hounsfield unit(HU)values on noncontrast computed tomography,and larger stone size.In multivariate analysis,independent prognostic factors for residual stones were identified as multi-calycal stones,lower pole stones,and high HU values.Conclusion:Compared to 272μm laser probes,operative time was shorter in surgeries performed with 365μm laser probes.The 365μm holmium laser can be effectively and safely used in the treatment of proximal ureteral and renal stones,demonstrating high clinical efficacy and safety.展开更多

It was found that the main features of the DSC thermograms (shape, relative separation and amplitude of the exothermic peaks characteristic for the precipitation of the Fe-(Si) solid solution and the transition metal borides) depend mainly on the composition of the precursor glass, and are only slightly affected by the heating rate between 20 and 80 K/min. The amplitude of the uprise of the magnetization in the TM curves (attributed to the precipitation of bcc-Fe(Si) and borides) decreases with increasing Nb-content. The Curietemperature of the precursor glasses. Tc(am1), the remainder amorphous phases, Tc(am2) and the bcc nanophase, Tc(n-Fe) are determined from the thermomagnetic curves. In this study, emphasis...Linear mixed model (LMM) approaches have been widely applied in many areas of research data analysis because they offer great flexibility for different data structures and linear model systems. In this study, emphasis is placed on comparing the properties of two LMM approaches: restricted maximum likelihood (REML) and minimum norm quadratic unbiased estimation (MINQUE) with and without resampling techniques being included. Bias, testing power, Type I error, and computing time were compared between REML and MINQUE approaches with and without Jackknife technique based on 500 simulated data sets. Results showed that MINQUE and REML methods performed equally regarding bias, Type I error, and power. Jackknife-based MINQUE and REML greatly improved power compared to non-Jackknife based linear mixed model approaches. Results also showed that MINQUE is more time-saving compared to REML, especially with the use of resampling techniques and large data set analysis. Results from the actual cotton data analysis were in agreement with our simulated results. Therefore, Jackknife-based MINQUE approaches could be recommended to achieve desirable power with reduced time for a large data analysis and model simulations.展开更多

OBJECTIVE:To compare the effects of carbamylβ-methylcholine chloride(CMCC) administered by intra-acupuncture point injection(IAI),intramuscular injection(IMI),and intravenous injection(IVI),and to analyze the mechani...OBJECTIVE:To compare the effects of carbamylβ-methylcholine chloride(CMCC) administered by intra-acupuncture point injection(IAI),intramuscular injection(IMI),and intravenous injection(IVI),and to analyze the mechanisms.METHODS:In the IAI group,CMCC was injected into the Zusanli acupoint(ST 36) immediately after 30-min stimulation by electro-acupuncture(EA) at the acupoints,and into the femoral vein and skeletal muscle in IVI and IMI groups,respectively.Intra-gastric pressure was detected.The plasma concentration of CMCC was measured at various times.RESULTS:The gastric effect of CMCC in the IVI group was enhanced and attenuated more rapidly than in the other groups.In the IAI group,this effect was significantly stronger than that in the IMI group at 2 min and 15 min,but not significantly different between the two groups at 5 min and 30 min.Plasma concentration of CMCC in the IAI group was similar to that in the IVI group at 2 min,but higher than that in the IMI group.The concentration in the IAI group was higher than that in the IV group and similar to that in the IMI group at 5,15 and 30 min,indicating rapid increase and slower reduction of the plasma concentration of the drug in the IAI group.There was a positive correlation between the plasma concentration of CMCC and intragastric pressure in all groups.CONCLUSION:The effect of IAI with CMCC was stronger than that of IMI and longer-lasting than that of IVI,which correlated with the blood concentration of CMCC.展开更多
With the development of cloud computing technology,more and more data owners upload their local data to the public cloud server for storage and calculation.While this can save customers’operating costs,it also poses ...With the development of cloud computing technology,more and more data owners upload their local data to the public cloud server for storage and calculation.While this can save customers’operating costs,it also poses privacy and security challenges.Such challenges can be solved using secure multi-party computation(SMPC),but this still exposes more security issues.In cloud computing using SMPC,clients need to process their data and submit the processed data to the cloud server,which then performs the calculation and returns the results to each client.Each client and server must be honest.If there is cooperation or dishonest behavior between clients,some clients may profit from it or even disclose the private data of other clients.This paper proposes the SMPC based on a Partially-Homomorphic Encryption(PHE)scheme in which an addition homomorphic encryption algorithm with a lower computational cost is used to ensure data comparability and Zero-Knowledge Proof(ZKP)is used to limit the client’s malicious behavior.In addition,the introduction of Oblivious Transfer(OT)technology also ensures that the semi-honest cloud server knows nothing about private data,so that the cloud server of this scheme can calculate the correct data in the case of malicious participant models and safely return the calculation results to each client.Finally,the security analysis shows that the scheme not only ensures the privacy of participants,but also ensures the fairness of the comparison protocol data.展开更多

[Method] Periplaneta americana L. skimmed cream was decolored with activated carbon and macroporous resin, and freeze-dried to collect solid decolorization products. By investigating the yield, decolorization rate, protein retention rate and decolorization operation process, the advantages and disadvantages of the two decolorization technologies were compared. [Result] Both activated carbon and macroporous resin can be used for decolorization. To be specific, macroporous resin-decolorization is superior in the yield and protein retention rate, while activated carbon-decolorization is superior in decolorization rate and decolorization operation process. [Conclusion] Macroporous resin-decolorization can be used if protein is the main ingredient required in the experiment, while activated carbon-decolorization can be used if protein is not the main ingredient required.展开更多
Two genetic linkage maps, constructed by DH and RILs populations derived from the same parents, were carried out for the identification and comparison of QTLs controlling yield traits across different years in rice (...Two genetic linkage maps, constructed by DH and RILs populations derived from the same parents, were carried out for the identification and comparison of QTLs controlling yield traits across different years in rice (Oryza sativa L.). A total of 194 SSR and STS markers were used in two maps, of which 114 markers were same. The distribution of Samgang allele was higher in RILs population than it in DH population. Comparing with DH population, RILs population has more lines with higher yield and wider phenotypic transgressive segression for yield traits. Although most of QTLs for the same trait were different in two populations across different years, 8 QTLs (including gwp 11.1, spp5.1, spp 10.1, spp 11.2, ssrl. 1, ssrl 1.1, tgw9.1 and tgwl 1.1) were detected over 2 yr. It is important to note that pppl0.1, sppl0.1 and tgw9.1 were identified in two populations, while sppl 0.1 and tgw9.1 were simultaneity observed across different years. Epistatic effects were more important than additive effects for PPP, SPP, yield in DH population and TGW, yield in R/Ls population. Epistatic effects of DH and RILs populations were different on the same genetic background in the present study, which illuminated the QE interaction played an important role on epistatic effect. Identification and comparison of QTLs for yield traits in DH and RILs populations should provide various and more precise information. The QTLs identified in present study would be valuable in marker-assisted selection program for improving rice yield.展开更多
This study investigates the effects of displacement damage on the dark signal of a pinned photodiode CMOS image sensor(CIS)following irradiation with back-streaming white neutrons from white neutron sources at the Chi...This study investigates the effects of displacement damage on the dark signal of a pinned photodiode CMOS image sensor(CIS)following irradiation with back-streaming white neutrons from white neutron sources at the China spallation neutron source(CSNS)and Xi'an pulsed reactor(XAPR).The mean dark signal,dark signal non-uniformity(DSNU),dark signal distribution,and hot pixels of the CIS were compared between the CSNS back-n and XAPR neutron irradiations.The nonionizing energy loss and energy distribution of primary knock-on atoms in silicon,induced by neutrons,were calculated using the open-source package Geant4.An analysis combining experimental and simulation results showed a noticeable proportionality between the increase in the mean dark signal and the displacement damage dose(DDD).Additionally,neutron energies influence DSNU,dark signal distribution,and hot pixels.High neutron energies at the same DDD level may lead to pronounced dark signal non-uniformity and elevated hot pixel values.展开更多

From January 20th, statistic analysis on parasitic situation of bees once every month be- tween the two methods, and take corresponding measures to prevent and control the varroa mite according to the varroa mite parasitic number in time, then the control effect of mite between the two methods were compared with. To explore the status of undergraduates’WeChat usage and upward social comparison,and analyze the relationship between the above two variables.Totally 754 WeChat undergraduates were selected through poster recruitmen...To explore the status of undergraduates’WeChat usage and upward social comparison,and analyze the relationship between the above two variables.Totally 754 WeChat undergraduates were selected through poster recruitment from 5 colleges in Guangdong Province.They were investigated with Access Frequency to Social Networking Site Scale(AFSNSS),Upward Social Comparison Subscale of Iowa-Nwtherlands Comparison Orientation Measure(INCOM-USCS).The score of overall emotional engagement(OEE)of AFSNSS and the total standard score of INCOM–USCS(TSSI-U)were(22.41±4.70)and(0±4.5),respectively.The correlation between WeChat frequency and TSSI-U was not significant.TSSI-U was significantly positively correlated with the score of OEE and other items of AFSNSS(r=0.161~0.413,P<0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that The scores of item 1,7and 8 of AFSNSS,as well as family economic status,grade ranking of academic performance(GRAP)and the purpose of WeChat use were postively correlated with TSSI-U(β=.104~.234,P<.05).Class cadre or not and origin were negatively correlated with TSSI-U(β=-.089,-.130,P<.05).Conclusion:It suggests that WeChat usage may be a related factor for undergraduates’upward social comparison.展开更多

文摘When a porous rock is subjected to overall compressive loading,either increasing pore pressure or decreasing confining pressure could result in rock failure.The stress path and the applied pressure change rate may affect the initiation and propagation of fractures within brittle materials.Understanding the physical mechanisms leading to failure is crucial for underground engineering applications and geo-energy exploration and storage.We conducted triaxial compression experiments on porous Bentheim sandstone samples at different stress paths and pressure change rates.First,at a constant confining pressure of 35 MPa and pore pressure of 5 MPa,intact cylindrical samples were axially loaded up to about 85%of the peak strength.Subsequently,the axial piston position was fixed,and then either the pore pressure was increased or the confining pressure was decreased at two different rates(0.5 MPa/min or 2 MPa/min),leading to final catastrophic failure.The mechanical results revealed that samples subjected to higher rates of decreasing effective confining pressure exhibited larger stress drop rates,higher slip rates,higher total breakdown work,higher rates of acoustic emissions(AEs)before failure,and higher post-failure AE decay rates.In contrast,the applied stress path did not significantly affect rock failure characteristics.Comparison of located AE events with post-mortem microstructures of deformed samples shows a good agreement.The AE source type determined from the P-wave first-motion polarity shows that shear failure dominated the fracture process when approaching failure.Gutenberg-Richter b-values revealed a significant decrease before failure in all tests.Our results indicate that,in contrast to the stress path,the rate of effective stress change strongly affects fracturing behavior and AE rate changes.
文摘Background:Transrectal(TR)and transperineal(TP)biopsies are commonly used methods for diagnosing prostate cancer.However,their comparative effectiveness in conjunction with machine learning(ML)techniques remains underexplored.This study aimed to evaluate the predictive accuracy of ML algorithms in detecting prostate cancer using data derived from TR and TP biopsies.Methods:The clinical records of patients who underwent prostate biopsy at King Saud University Medical City and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centerin Riyadh,Saudi Arabia,between 2018 and 2025 were analyzed.Data were used to train and testMLmodels,including eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost),Decision Tree,Random Forest,and Extra Trees.Results:The two datasets are comparable.The models demonstrated exceptional performance,achieving accuracies of up to 96.49%and 95.56%on TP and TR biopsy datasets,respectively.The area under the curve(AUC)values were also high,reaching 0.9988 for TP and 0.9903 for TR biopsy predictions.Conclusion:These findings highlight the potential of MLto enhance the diagnostic accuracy of prostate cancer detection irrespective of the biopsy method.However,TP biopsy data showed marginally higher accuracy,possibly because of the lower risk of contamination.While ML holds great promise for transforming prostate cancer care,further research is needed to address limitations.Collaboration between clinicians,data scientists,and researchers is crucial to ensure the clinical relevance and interpretability of ML models.

文摘Twenty-one typical coupled large samples were chosen from areas within and surrounding nature reserves on the Tibetan Plateau using the large sample comparison method(LSCM).To evaluate the effectiveness of the nature reserves in protecting the ecological environment,the alpine grassland net primary production(NPP) of these coupled samples were compared and the differences between them before and after their establishment as protected areas were analyzed.The results showed that:(1) With respect to the alpine grassland NPP,the ecological and environmental conditions of most nature reserves were more fragile than those of the surrounding areas and also lower than the average values for the Tibetan Plateau.(2) Of the 11 typical nature reserves selected,the positive trend in the NPP for Manzetang was the most significant,whereas there was no obvious trend in Taxkorgan.With the exception of Selincuo,the annual NPP growth rate in the nature reserves covered by alpine meadow and wetland was higher than that in nature reserves consisting of alpine steppe and alpine desert.(3) There were notable findings in 21 typical coupled samples:(a) After the establishment of the nature reserves,the annual rate of increase in the NPP in 76% of samples inside nature reserves and 82% of samples inside national nature reserves was higher than that of the corresponding samples outside nature reserves.(b) The effectiveness of ecological protection of the Mid-Kunlun,Changshagongma,Zoige and Selincuo(Selin Co) nature reserves was significant; the effectiveness of protection was relatively sig-nificant in most parts of the Sanjiangyuan and Qiangtang nature reserves,whereas in south-east Manzetang and north Taxkorgan the protection effectiveness was not obvious.(c) The ecological protection effectiveness was significant in nature reserves consisting of alpine meadow,but was weak in nature reserves covered by alpine steppe.This study also shows that the advantage of large sample comparison method in evaluating regional ecology change.Careful design of the samples used,to ensure comparability between the samples,is crucial to the success of this LSCM.
文摘The effects of RKM in comparison with pectin, algin and agar on lipid levels in serum and liver and on liver histopathology in rats were studied. In addition, the effects of all the tested materials on the composition and output of fecal bile acid were observed. All four kinds of dietary fiber were given at a level of 5% of diet to young male rats of Wistar strain fed on a lipid-rich diet contalning 5 % lard, 1% cholesteral and 0. 25 % cholate. All the dietary fibers tested have similar effects on serum lipid composition. In all groups, these substances prevent ed increases in total cholesterol in fasting serum, but the level of triglyceride was tmchangd.The concentrations of totaI cholesterol and triglyceride in the liver were lower in the RKM group than in the control group and the other three groups. Hepatic histopathological exami nation also showed the most significant lipotropic effect in the RKM group. The daily output of fecal bile acids (CDCA+GDCA) was significantly increased in the four experimental groups than in the normal group and the control group. The increase of CDCA was more significant than GDCA, suggesting that the increase of fecal bile acids, especially CDCA, may be one of the mechanisms by which RKM and the other three dietary fibers exerts a hypocholesterolemic effect
文摘Introduction:Surgeons typically prefer 270μm and 272μm laser probes in retrograde intrarenal surgery(RIRS)due to the reduced deflection capacity of flexible ureterorenoscopes when using larger probe diameters.This study aims to investigate the effects of 272 and 365μm holmium laser probes on operative time,clinical efficacy,and complication rates in RIRS.Materials and Methods:A total of 285 patients with proximal ureteral or kidney stones who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the study.Patients were divided into two groups based on laser probe thickness:272μm and 365μm.Stone-free rates,operative time,and complication rates were compared between the groups.Factors affecting stone-free rates were analyzed using multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results:Patient and stone characteristics were similar between the two groups.No significant differences were found in stone-free or complication rates.However,operative time was significantly shorter in the 365μm probe group.In univariate analysis,risk factors for postoperative residual stones included multi-calyceal stones,lower pole stones,high Hounsfield unit(HU)values on noncontrast computed tomography,and larger stone size.In multivariate analysis,independent prognostic factors for residual stones were identified as multi-calycal stones,lower pole stones,and high HU values.Conclusion:Compared to 272μm laser probes,operative time was shorter in surgeries performed with 365μm laser probes.The 365μm holmium laser can be effectively and safely used in the treatment of proximal ureteral and renal stones,demonstrating high clinical efficacy and safety.
文摘The results of thermomagnetic (TM) and calorimetric (DSC) measurements have been compared in order to clarify some details of the mechanism of nanophase-formation from Finemet-type precursors with different Nb contents. It was found that the main features of the DSC thermograms (shape, relative separation and amplitude of the exothermic peaks characteristic for the precipitation of the Fe-(Si) solid solution and the transition metal borides) depend mainly on the composition of the precursor glass, and are only slightly affected by the heating rate between 20 and 80 K/min. The amplitude of the uprise of the magnetization in the TM curves (attributed to the precipitation of bcc-Fe(Si) and borides) decreases with increasing Nb-content. The Curietemperature of the precursor glasses. Tc(am1), the remainder amorphous phases, Tc(am2) and the bcc nanophase, Tc(n-Fe) are determined from the thermomagnetic curves. The shape of the TM curves is interpreted on the basis of the reactions describing the crystalIization of the hypo-eutectic Fe-B glasses.

文摘Linear mixed model (LMM) approaches have been widely applied in many areas of research data analysis because they offer great flexibility for different data structures and linear model systems. In this study, emphasis is placed on comparing the properties of two LMM approaches: restricted maximum likelihood (REML) and minimum norm quadratic unbiased estimation (MINQUE) with and without resampling techniques being included. Bias, testing power, Type I error, and computing time were compared between REML and MINQUE approaches with and without Jackknife technique based on 500 simulated data sets. Results showed that MINQUE and REML methods performed equally regarding bias, Type I error, and power. Jackknife-based MINQUE and REML greatly improved power compared to non-Jackknife based linear mixed model approaches. Results also showed that MINQUE is more time-saving compared to REML, especially with the use of resampling techniques and large data set analysis. Results from the actual cotton data analysis were in agreement with our simulated results. Therefore, Jackknife-based MINQUE approaches could be recommended to achieve desirable power with reduced time for a large data analysis and model simulations.
文摘Objective To compare the effects of autotransfusion and homologous transfusion on milieu interieur and secretion of erythropoietin (EPO). Methods Thirty patients aged 8-21 yr, undergoing surgical correction of kyphoscoliosis were randomly divided into two groups of fifteen:group A and group B. In group A patients received homologous transfusion during operation, while in group B shed blood was collected from operative field and after filtration RBCs were separated by a differential centrifugation and washed in normal saline and reinfused. Anesthesia was induced with fentanyl 2 μg· kg-1 ,propofol 1 mg·kg-1 and vecuronium 0.1 mg·kg-1 and maintained with inhalation of isoflurane and 50 % N2O in oxygen and intermittent iv boluses of vecuronium and fentanyl. 文摘Objective:An increasing number of studies indicate that autophagy plays an important role in the pathogenesis of spinal cord injury,and that regulating autophagy can enhance recovery from spinal cord injury.However,the effect of regulating autophagy and whether autophagy is detrimental or beneficial after spinal cord injury remain unclear.Therefore,in this study we evaluated the effects of autophagy regulation on spinal cord injury in rats by direct and indirect comparison,in an effort to provide a basis for further research.Data source:Relevant literature published from inception to February 1,2018 were included by searching Wanfang,CNKI,Web of Science,MEDLINE(OvidSP),PubMed and Google Scholar in English and Chinese.The keywords included"autophagy","spinal cord injury",and"rat".Data selection:The literature included in vivo experimental studies on autophagy regulation in the treatment of spinal cord injury(including intervention pre-and post-spinal cord injury).Meta-analyses were conducted at different time points to compare the therapeutic effects of promoting or inhibiting autophagy,and subgroup analyses were also conducted.Outcome measure:Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan scores.Results:Of the 622 studies,33 studies of median quality were included in the analyses.Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan scores were higher at 1 day(MD=1.80,95%CI:0.81-2.79,P=0.0004),3 days(MD=0.92,95%CI:0.72-1.13,P<0.00001),1 week(MD=2.39,95%CI:1.85-2.92,P<0.00001),2 weeks(MD=3.26,95%CI:2.40-4.13,P<0.00001),3 weeks(MD=3.13,95%CI:2.51-3.75,P<0.00001)and 4 weeks(MD=3.18,95%CI:2.43-3.92,P<0.00001)after spinal cord injury with upregulation of autophagy compared with the control group(drug solvent control,such as saline group).Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan scores were higher at 1 day(MD=6.48,95%CI:5.83-7.13,P<0.00001),2 weeks(MD=2.43,95%CI:0.79-4.07,P=0.004),3 weeks(MD=2.96,95%CI:0.09-5.84,P=0.04)and 4 weeks(MD=4.41,95%CI:1.08-7.75,P=0.01)after spinal cord injury with downregulation of autophagy compared with the control group.Indirect comparison of upregulation and downregulation of autophagy showed no differences in Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan scores at 1 day(MD=-4.68,95%CI:-5.840 to-3.496,P=0.94644),3 days(MD=-0.28,95%CI:-2.231-1.671,P=0.99448),1 week(MD=1.83,95%CI:0.0076-3.584,P=0.94588),2 weeks(MD=0.81,95%CI:-0.850-2.470,P=0.93055),3 weeks(MD=0.17,95%Cl:-2.771-3.111,P=0.99546)or 4 weeks(MD=-1.23,95%Cl:-4.647-2.187,P=0.98264)compared with the control group.Conclusion:Regulation of autophagy improves neurological function,whether it is upregulated or downregulated.There was no difference between upregulation and downregulation of autophagy in the treatment of spinal cord injury.The variability in results among the studies may be associated with differences in research methods,the lack of clearly defined autophagy characteristics after spinal cord injury,and the limited autophagy monitoring techniques.Thus,methods should be standardized,and the dynamic regulation of autophagy should be examined in future studies.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To compare the effects of carbamylβ-methylcholine chloride(CMCC) administered by intra-acupuncture point injection(IAI),intramuscular injection(IMI),and intravenous injection(IVI),and to analyze the mechanisms.METHODS:In the IAI group,CMCC was injected into the Zusanli acupoint(ST 36) immediately after 30-min stimulation by electro-acupuncture(EA) at the acupoints,and into the femoral vein and skeletal muscle in IVI and IMI groups,respectively.Intra-gastric pressure was detected.The plasma concentration of CMCC was measured at various times.RESULTS:The gastric effect of CMCC in the IVI group was enhanced and attenuated more rapidly than in the other groups.In the IAI group,this effect was significantly stronger than that in the IMI group at 2 min and 15 min,but not significantly different between the two groups at 5 min and 30 min.Plasma concentration of CMCC in the IAI group was similar to that in the IVI group at 2 min,but higher than that in the IMI group.The concentration in the IAI group was higher than that in the IV group and similar to that in the IMI group at 5,15 and 30 min,indicating rapid increase and slower reduction of the plasma concentration of the drug in the IAI group.There was a positive correlation between the plasma concentration of CMCC and intragastric pressure in all groups.CONCLUSION:The effect of IAI with CMCC was stronger than that of IMI and longer-lasting than that of IVI,which correlated with the blood concentration of CMCC.

文摘With the development of cloud computing technology,more and more data owners upload their local data to the public cloud server for storage and calculation.While this can save customers’operating costs,it also poses privacy and security challenges.Such challenges can be solved using secure multi-party computation(SMPC),but this still exposes more security issues.In cloud computing using SMPC,clients need to process their data and submit the processed data to the cloud server,which then performs the calculation and returns the results to each client.Each client and server must be honest.If there is cooperation or dishonest behavior between clients,some clients may profit from it or even disclose the private data of other clients.This paper proposes the SMPC based on a Partially-Homomorphic Encryption(PHE)scheme in which an addition homomorphic encryption algorithm with a lower computational cost is used to ensure data comparability and Zero-Knowledge Proof(ZKP)is used to limit the client’s malicious behavior.In addition,the introduction of Oblivious Transfer(OT)technology also ensures that the semi-honest cloud server knows nothing about private data,so that the cloud server of this scheme can calculate the correct data in the case of malicious participant models and safely return the calculation results to each client.Finally,the security analysis shows that the scheme not only ensures the privacy of participants,but also ensures the fairness of the comparison protocol data.

文摘[Objective] The aim of this study was to investigate the decolorization ef- fects of activated carbon and macroporous resin on Periplaneta americana L. skimmed cream and compare the advantages and disadvantages of the two decolorization technologies. [Method] Periplaneta americana L. skimmed cream was decolored with activated carbon and macroporous resin, and freeze-dried to collect solid decolorization products. By investigating the yield, decolorization rate, protein retention rate and decolorization operation process, the advantages and disadvantages of the two decolorization technologies were compared. [Result] Both activated carbon and macroporous resin can be used for decolorization. To be specific, macroporous resin-decolorization is superior in the yield and protein retention rate, while activated carbon-decolorization is superior in decolorization rate and decolorization operation process. [Conclusion] Macroporous resin-decolorization can be used if protein is the main ingredient required in the experiment, while activated carbon-decolorization can be used if protein is not the main ingredient required.

文摘Two genetic linkage maps, constructed by DH and RILs populations derived from the same parents, were carried out for the identification and comparison of QTLs controlling yield traits across different years in rice (Oryza sativa L.). A total of 194 SSR and STS markers were used in two maps, of which 114 markers were same. The distribution of Samgang allele was higher in RILs population than it in DH population. Comparing with DH population, RILs population has more lines with higher yield and wider phenotypic transgressive segression for yield traits. Although most of QTLs for the same trait were different in two populations across different years, 8 QTLs (including gwp 11.1, spp5.1, spp 10.1, spp 11.2, ssrl. 1, ssrl 1.1, tgw9.1 and tgwl 1.1) were detected over 2 yr. It is important to note that pppl0.1, sppl0.1 and tgw9.1 were identified in two populations, while sppl 0.1 and tgw9.1 were simultaneity observed across different years. Epistatic effects were more important than additive effects for PPP, SPP, yield in DH population and TGW, yield in R/Ls population. Epistatic effects of DH and RILs populations were different on the same genetic background in the present study, which illuminated the QE interaction played an important role on epistatic effect. Identification and comparison of QTLs for yield traits in DH and RILs populations should provide various and more precise information. The QTLs identified in present study would be valuable in marker-assisted selection program for improving rice yield.

文摘This study investigates the effects of displacement damage on the dark signal of a pinned photodiode CMOS image sensor(CIS)following irradiation with back-streaming white neutrons from white neutron sources at the China spallation neutron source(CSNS)and Xi'an pulsed reactor(XAPR).The mean dark signal,dark signal non-uniformity(DSNU),dark signal distribution,and hot pixels of the CIS were compared between the CSNS back-n and XAPR neutron irradiations.The nonionizing energy loss and energy distribution of primary knock-on atoms in silicon,induced by neutrons,were calculated using the open-source package Geant4.An analysis combining experimental and simulation results showed a noticeable proportionality between the increase in the mean dark signal and the displacement damage dose(DDD).Additionally,neutron energies influence DSNU,dark signal distribution,and hot pixels.High neutron energies at the same DDD level may lead to pronounced dark signal non-uniformity and elevated hot pixel values.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to o research the control effect to Varroa destructor and Tropilaeplaps clareae whit new raising management methods, and reduce the pollution caused by drug treatment of bee. [ Metkod] We took the method that was replace the hive and comb on test col- onies with the comb Formalin soaking liquid used three days after the dry and sterilization in advance with the hive. The test groups were 10 colonies randomly selected from the disinfected comb in the breeding. This was the first kind of method. The control groups were 10 colonies randomly se- lected by the conventional breeding management methods. From January 20th, statistic analysis on parasitic situation of bees once every month be- tween the two methods, and take corresponding measures to prevent and control the varroa mite according to the varroa mite parasitic number in time, then the control effect of mite between the two methods were compared with. [ Result] The results showed that the first method was better than the second one in V. destructor, the control time of T. clareae delayed about one month [ Conclusion] Good breeding method could restrain I V. destructor and T. clareae parasitism, speeded up the colony development, and reduced the pollution of chemical drugs on bee products, regar- dod as a kind good method of controlling bee mites to make use of the feeding and management technology.
文摘To explore the status of undergraduates’WeChat usage and upward social comparison,and analyze the relationship between the above two variables.Totally 754 WeChat undergraduates were selected through poster recruitment from 5 colleges in Guangdong Province.They were investigated with Access Frequency to Social Networking Site Scale(AFSNSS),Upward Social Comparison Subscale of Iowa-Nwtherlands Comparison Orientation Measure(INCOM-USCS).The score of overall emotional engagement(OEE)of AFSNSS and the total standard score of INCOM–USCS(TSSI-U)were(22.41±4.70)and(0±4.5),respectively.The correlation between WeChat frequency and TSSI-U was not significant.TSSI-U was significantly positively correlated with the score of OEE and other items of AFSNSS(r=0.161~0.413,P<0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that The scores of item 1,7and 8 of AFSNSS,as well as family economic status,grade ranking of academic performance(GRAP)and the purpose of WeChat use were postively correlated with TSSI-U(β=.104~.234,P<.05).Class cadre or not and origin were negatively correlated with TSSI-U(β=-.089,-.130,P<.05).Conclusion:It suggests that WeChat usage may be a related factor for undergraduates’upward social comparison.
