With the deployment of ultra-dense low earth orbit(LEO)satellite constellations,LEO satellite access network(LEO-SAN)is envisioned to achieve global Internet coverage.Meanwhile,the civil aviation communications have increased dramatically,especially for providing airborne Internet services.However,due to dynamic service demands and onboard LEO resources over time and space,it poses huge challenges in satellite-aircraft access and service management in ultra-dense LEO satellite networks(UDLSN).In this paper,we propose a deep reinforcement learning-based approach for ultra-dense LEO satellite-aircraft access and service management.Firstly,we develop an airborne Internet architecture based on UDLSN and design a management mechanism including medium earth orbit satellites to guarantee lightweight management.Secondly,considering latency-sensitive and latency-tolerant services,we formulate the problem of satellite-aircraft access and service management for civil aviation to ensure service continuity.Finally,we propose a proximal policy optimization-based access and service management algorithm to solve the formulated problem.Simulation results demonstrate the convergence and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm with satisfying the service continuity when applying to the UDLSN. 展开更多

The integration of Communicative Language Testing(CLT)principles with AI-driven automated assessment poses a significant challenge in professional language testing.Addressing this issue within the specific context of Civil Aviation Ground Service English,this study explores pathways for their logical reconciliation.Through conceptual analysis and theoretical deduction,with a focus on human-AI interaction scenarios,we demonstrate that the synergy between CLT and AI stems from a shared focus on competency measurement.Key findings reveal that:(1)standardized competency dimensions in CLT can be operationalized into data-processable formats for AI;(2)within professional contexts,AI algorithms can be tailored using authentic service corpora to meet CLT’s demand for situational authenticity;and(3)a division of labor based on competency level-where AI handles standardized scoring of lower-order competencies and human-AI collaboration assesses higher-order competencies-effectively resolves the tension between CLT’s dynamic communication and AI’s static algorithms.Ultimately,the study constructs a three-dimensional integration framework encompassing“professional register,”“competency level,”and“human-AI division of labor,”offering a theoretical model for CLT-AI integration and a practical blueprint for innovating Civil Aviation Ground Service English assessment. 展开更多

Based on data collected by Chinese Civil Aviation Statistic Center, the annual CO2 emissions of aircrafts during 1960-2009 were calculated, and the emission intensity and its dynamic characteristics were analyzed. The results show that the total CO2 emissions of aircrafts in China increased from 120×10^3 t in 1960 to 41.44×10^6 t in 2009. The CO2 emission intensity decreased from 2.9 kg (converted t kra)-1 in 1960 to 0.96 kg (converted t km)-1 in 2009 at an average rate of 0.04 kg (converted t km)-I per year. The average share of CO2 emissions of aircrafts on the total CO2 emissions from the sector of transportation, storage and post was 6.6% during 1980-2005, and 0.25% on the total emissions from fossil fuel combustion during 1971-2008. 展开更多

Functionally, it has emerged as the organizational necessity of both the universal complex structure and the importance of its overall activity. It was created on the basis of Article 57 of the United Nations Charter, stipulating that the specialized UN agencies are autonomous international organizations. They enjoy their autonomy on the basis of the contract they were established by, being engaged in activities within the United Nations system. On the territories the organization member states comprise, they enjoy privileges and immunities, having the international legal capacity to carry out their activities in accordance to the Statute. The 1944 Multilateral Convention was to establish both protection and efficient development of international civil aviation. In accordance to that rights and obligations of member states were established. It is of a special importance to emphasize obligation of parties to take their parts in both co-operation and programs aimed at improvement of international transport, navigational equipment, and installations. In the globalized world of today, air traffic is an irreplaceable part of the system of communication. In order to promote the application and development of civil aviation safety(CAS)in the field of safety and enrich the theoretical system of CAS research,the methodology of CAS was studied.The definition of CAS was reconstructed,its connotation was explained from four aspects,and its research object was clarified.This paper discussed the mechanism of CAS,that is,to maintain system security through the establishment of safety prevention and control system(SPCS),and explained the research content of CAS from theory and technology application.Five principles and applicable methods for CAS research were summarized.In addition,it put forward the general procedure of CAS research,explained the specific content and implementation method or basis of each step.The research results show that the methodology of CAS is a systematic theoretical system with certain guiding significance,combined with the mechanism,research content,research principles and methods,and research procedures of CAS. 展开更多

As an important infrastructure system, civil aviation network system can be severely affected by natural hazards. Although a natural hazard is usually local, its impact, through the network topology, can become global.Inspired by Wilkinson's work in 2012, this article proposes a new quantitative spatial vulnerability model for network systems, which emphasizes the spreading impact of spatially localized hazards on these systems. This model considers hazard location and area covered by a hazard,and spatially spreading impact of the hazard(including direct impact and indirect impact through network topology) and proposes an absolute spatial vulnerability index and a relative spatial vulnerability index to reflect the vulnerability of a network system to local hazards. The model is then applied to study the spatial vulnerability of the Chinese civil aviation network system. The simulation results show that(1) the proposed model is effective and useful to study spatial vulnerability of civil aviation network systems as the results well explain the general situation of the Chinese civil aviation system; and(2) the Chinese civil aviation network system is highly vulnerable to local hazards when indirect impacts through network connections are considered. 展开更多
