To address the issues of frequent identity switches(IDs)and degraded identification accuracy in multi object tracking(MOT)under complex occlusion scenarios,this study proposes an occlusion-robust tracking framework ba...To address the issues of frequent identity switches(IDs)and degraded identification accuracy in multi object tracking(MOT)under complex occlusion scenarios,this study proposes an occlusion-robust tracking framework based on face-pedestrian joint feature modeling.By constructing a joint tracking model centered on“intra-class independent tracking+cross-category dynamic binding”,designing a multi-modal matching metric with spatio-temporal and appearance constraints,and innovatively introducing a cross-category feature mutual verification mechanism and a dual matching strategy,this work effectively resolves performance degradation in traditional single-category tracking methods caused by short-term occlusion,cross-camera tracking,and crowded environments.Experiments on the Chokepoint_Face_Pedestrian_Track test set demonstrate that in complex scenes,the proposed method improves Face-Pedestrian Matching F1 area under the curve(F1 AUC)by approximately 4 to 43 percentage points compared to several traditional methods.The joint tracking model achieves overall performance metrics of IDF1:85.1825%and MOTA:86.5956%,representing improvements of 0.91 and 0.06 percentage points,respectively,over the baseline model.Ablation studies confirm the effectiveness of key modules such as the Intersection over Area(IoA)/Intersection over Union(IoU)joint metric and dynamic threshold adjustment,validating the significant role of the cross-category identity matching mechanism in enhancing tracking stability.Our_model shows a 16.7%frame per second(FPS)drop vs.fairness of detection and re-identification in multiple object tracking(FairMOT),with its cross-category binding module adding aboute 10%overhead,yet maintains near-real-time performance for essential face-pedestrian tracking at small resolutions.展开更多

BACKGROUND Colorectal polyps are commonly observed in patients with chronic liver disease(CLD)and pose a significant clinical concern because of their potential for malignancy.AIM To explore the clinical characteristi...BACKGROUND Colorectal polyps are commonly observed in patients with chronic liver disease(CLD)and pose a significant clinical concern because of their potential for malignancy.AIM To explore the clinical characteristics of colorectal polyps in patients with CLD,a nomogram was established to predict the presence of adenomatous polyps(AP).METHODS Patients with CLD who underwent colonoscopy at Tianjin Second People’s Hospital from January 2020 to May 2023 were evaluated.Clinical data including laboratory results,colonoscopy findings,and pathology reports were collected.Key variables for the nomogram were identified through least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression,followed by multivariate logistic regression.The performance of the model was evaluated using the area under the receiver area under curve,as well as calibration curves and decision curve analysis.RESULTS The study enrolled 870 participants who underwent colonoscopy,and the detection rate of AP in patients with CLD was 28.6%.Compared to individuals without polyps,six risk factors were identified as predictors for AP occurrence:Age,male sex,body mass index,alcohol consumption,overlapping metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease,and serum ferritin levels.The novel nomogram(AP model)demonstrated an area under curve of 0.801(95%confidence interval:0.756-0.845)and 0.785(95%confidence interval:0.712-0.858)in the training and validation groups.Calibration curves indicated good agreement among predicted and actual probabilities(training:χ^(2)=11.860,P=0.157;validation:χ^(2)=7.055,P=0.530).The decision curve analysis underscored the clinical utility of the nomogram for predicting the risk of AP.CONCLUSION The AP model showed reasonable accuracy and provided a clinical foundation for predicting the occurrence of AP in patients with CLD,which has a certain predictive value.展开更多

In this paper,we investigate a multi-UAV aided NOMA communication system,where multiple UAV-mounted aerial base stations are employed to serve ground users in the downlink NOMA communication,and each UAV serves its as...In this paper,we investigate a multi-UAV aided NOMA communication system,where multiple UAV-mounted aerial base stations are employed to serve ground users in the downlink NOMA communication,and each UAV serves its associated users on its own bandwidth.We aim at maximizing the overall common throughput in a finite time period.Such a problem is a typical mixed integer nonlinear problem,which involves both continuous-variable and combinatorial optimizations.To efficiently solve this problem,we propose a two-layer algorithm,which separately tackles continuous-variable and combinatorial optimization.Specifically,in the inner layer given one user association scheme,subproblems of bandwidth allocation,power allocation and trajectory design are solved based on alternating optimization.In the outer layer,a small number of candidate user association schemes are generated from an initial scheme and the best solution can be determined by comparing all the candidate schemes.In particular,a clustering algorithm based on K-means is applied to produce all candidate user association schemes,the successive convex optimization technique is adopted in the power allocation subproblem and a logistic function approximation approach is employed in the trajectory design subproblem.Simulation results show that the proposed NOMA scheme outperforms three baseline schemes in downlink common throughput,including one solution proposed in an existing literature.展开更多
AIM:To determine the therapeutic benefits of fenofibrate(Feno)on the dysfunction of high glucose(HG)-induced human retinal microvascular endothelial cells(HRMECs)and to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanism.MET...AIM:To determine the therapeutic benefits of fenofibrate(Feno)on the dysfunction of high glucose(HG)-induced human retinal microvascular endothelial cells(HRMECs)and to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanism.METHODS:HRMEC dysfunction model was established by 48h glucose(30 mmol/L)treatment and treated with Feno/NOD-like receptor thermal protein domain associated protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome activator(Nigericin).Cell viability/apoptosis were assessed by cell counting kit-8(CCK-8)/terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling assay(TUNEL)staining and flow cytometry assays.Levels of apoptosis-(Bcl-2-associated X protein,Bax/B-cell lymphoma 2,Bcl-2),vascular permeability-(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)and inflammasome activation-related proteins(NLRP3/cleaved caspase-1/apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD,ASC),as well as inflammatory factors(interleukin,IL-6/IL-1β/tumor necrosis factor,TNF-α/IL-18)were determined with Western blot/enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Cell permeability/reactive oxygen species(ROS)level/superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity/malondialdehyde(MDA)content were assessed by Evans blue staining/2',7'-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate(DCFH-DA)fluorescent probe/SOD kit/MDA kit.RESULTS:HRMEC dysfunction was successfully induced by HG,evidenced by decreased viability(P<0.001),increased apoptosis(P<0.001),permeability(P<0.001),and inflammatory factor levels(P<0.001).Feno treatment significantly ameliorated HG-induced HRMEC dysfunction(P<0.01).Meanwhile,HG induction increased ROS production(P<0.001)and MDA content(P<0.001)in HRMECs,while reducing SOD activity(P<0.001),indicative of oxidative stress.This was,however,abolished by Feno(P<0.05).Moreover,Feno eliminated activation of NLRP3 inflammasomes(P<0.05)in HG-induced HRMECs.Strikingly,activation of NLRP3 inflammasomes partially averted the inhibition of Feno on HG-induced HRMEC dysfunction(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Feno represses oxidative stress and NLRP3 inflammasome activation,consequently alleviating HG-induced HRMEC dysfunction.展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the predictive value of the neutrophil⁃to⁃lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and the systemic immune⁃inflammation index(SII)in predicting patients with anti⁃melanoma differentiation⁃associated gene 5⁃positive(...Objective:To evaluate the predictive value of the neutrophil⁃to⁃lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and the systemic immune⁃inflammation index(SII)in predicting patients with anti⁃melanoma differentiation⁃associated gene 5⁃positive(anti⁃MDA5+)dermatomyositis(DM)develop into the rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease(RPILD).Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the clinical and laboratory data of 124 anti⁃MDA5+DM patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between March 2019 and September 2023.We identified independent risk factors associated with the development and mortality of RPILD with the Cox regression analysis,and determined the optimal cut⁃off values for predicting adverse outcomes with the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.Results:Among the 124 patients,36 patients(29.03%)developed RPILD,and 39 patients(31.45%)died during the follow⁃up period.The results of multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that the elevated NLR was an independent risk factor for RPILD development,while the elevated SII expression was independently associated with the increased mortality of RPILD.Based on the ROC curve analysis,NLR>6.12 was a predictor for RPILD,and SII>875.79 was associated with increased mortality risk of RPILD.Conclusion:Both NLR and SII are accessible,cost⁃effective,and reliable prognostic indicators for the prognosis of patients with anti⁃MDA5^(+)DM,providing a valuable guidance for clinical management and risk stratification of the disease.展开更多
Identifying the factors that contribute to individual susceptibility to cancer is essential for both prevention and treatment.The advancement of biotechnologies,particularly next-generation sequencing,has accelerated ...Identifying the factors that contribute to individual susceptibility to cancer is essential for both prevention and treatment.The advancement of biotechnologies,particularly next-generation sequencing,has accelerated the discovery of genetic variants linked to cancer susceptibility.While hundreds of cancer-susceptibility genes have been identified,they only explain a small fraction of the overall cancer risk,a phenomenon known as"missing heritability".Despite progress,even considering factors such as epistasis,epigenetics,and gene-environment interactions,the missing heritability remains unresolved.Recent research has revealed that an individual's microbiome composition plays a significant role in cancer susceptibility through several mechanisms,such as modulating immune cell activity and influencing the presence or removal of environmental carcinogens.In this review,we examine the multifaceted roles of the microbiome in cancer risk and explore gene-microbiome and environment-microbiome interactions that may contribute to cancer susceptibility.Additionally,we highlight the importance of experimental models,such as collaborative cross mice,and advanced analytical tools,like artificial intelligence,in identifying microbial factors associated with cancer risk.Understanding these microbial determinants can open new avenues for interventions aimed at reducing cancer risk and guide the development of more effective cancer treatments.展开更多

Multiple Object Tracking(MOT)is essential for applications such as autonomous driving,surveillance,and analytics;However,challenges such as occlusion,low-resolution imaging,and identity switches remain persistent.We p...Multiple Object Tracking(MOT)is essential for applications such as autonomous driving,surveillance,and analytics;However,challenges such as occlusion,low-resolution imaging,and identity switches remain persistent.We propose HAMOT,a hierarchical adaptive multi-object tracker that solves these challenges with a novel,unified framework.Unlike previous methods that rely on isolated components,HAMOT incorporates a Swin Transformer-based Adaptive Enhancement(STAE)module—comprising Scene-Adaptive Transformer Enhancement and Confidence-Adaptive Feature Refinement—to improve detection under low-visibility conditions.The hierarchical DynamicGraphNeuralNetworkwith TemporalAttention(DGNN-TA)models both short-and long-termassociations,and the Adaptive Unscented Kalman Filter with Gated Recurrent Unit(AUKF-GRU)ensures accurate motion prediction.The novel Graph-Based Density-Aware Clustering(GDAC)improves occlusion recovery by adapting to scene density,preserving identity integrity.This integrated approach enables adaptive responses to complex visual scenarios,Achieving exceptional performance across all evaluation metrics,including aHigher Order TrackingAccuracy(HOTA)of 67.05%,a Multiple Object Tracking Accuracy(MOTA)of 82.4%,an ID F1 Score(IDF1)of 83.1%,and a total of 1052 Identity Switches(IDSW)on theMOT17;66.61%HOTA,78.3%MOTA,82.1%IDF1,and a total of 748 IDSWonMOT20;and 66.4%HOTA,92.32%MOTA,and 68.96%IDF1 on DanceTrack.With fixed thresholds,the full HAMOT model(all six components)achieves real-time functionality at 24 FPS on MOT17 using RTX3090,ensuring robustness and scalability for real-world MOT applications.展开更多

Understanding the thermodynamic behavior of complex fluids in confined environments is critical for various industrial and natural processes including but not limited to polymer flooding enhanced oil recovery(EOR).In ...Understanding the thermodynamic behavior of complex fluids in confined environments is critical for various industrial and natural processes including but not limited to polymer flooding enhanced oil recovery(EOR).In this work,we develop Atif-V2.0,an extended classical density functional theory(cDFT)framework that integrates the interfacial statistical associating fluid theory(iSAFT)to model multicomponent associating fluids composed of water-soluble polymers,alkanes,and water.Building on the original theoretical framework of Atif for modeling nanoconfined inhomogeneous fluids,Atif-V2.0 embeds explicit solvent and captures additional physical interactions-hydrogen bonding,which are critical in associating fluid systems.The other key feature of Atif-V2.0 is its ability to account for polymer topology.We demonstrate its capability by predicting the equilibrium structure and thermodynamic behavior of branched hydrolyzed polyacrylamide solutions near hard walls with various branching topologies,which provides a robust theoretical tool for the rational design of EOR polymers.展开更多

文摘Neuroinflammation,the inflammatory response of the central nervous system(CNS),is a common feature of many neurological disorders such as sepsis-associated encephalopathy(SAE),multiple sclerosis(MS),and Parkinson's disease(PD).Prior studies identified cytokines(e.g.,tumor necrosis factor[TNF],interleukin[IL]-1,and IL-6)delivered by resident glial cells and brain-invading peripheral immune cells as the major contributor to neuroinflammation(Becher et al.,2017).In addition to pro-inflammatory cytokines,elevated levels of extracellular purine molecules such as adenosine triphosphate(ATP)and adenosine can be detected upon any pathological insults(e.g.,injury,ischemia,and hypoxia),contributing to the progression of neurological disorders(Borea et al.,2017).

文摘BACKGROUND Colorectal polyps are commonly observed in patients with chronic liver disease(CLD)and pose a significant clinical concern because of their potential for malignancy.AIM To explore the clinical characteristics of colorectal polyps in patients with CLD,a nomogram was established to predict the presence of adenomatous polyps(AP).METHODS Patients with CLD who underwent colonoscopy at Tianjin Second People’s Hospital from January 2020 to May 2023 were evaluated.Clinical data including laboratory results,colonoscopy findings,and pathology reports were collected.Key variables for the nomogram were identified through least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression,followed by multivariate logistic regression.The performance of the model was evaluated using the area under the receiver area under curve,as well as calibration curves and decision curve analysis.RESULTS The study enrolled 870 participants who underwent colonoscopy,and the detection rate of AP in patients with CLD was 28.6%.Compared to individuals without polyps,six risk factors were identified as predictors for AP occurrence:Age,male sex,body mass index,alcohol consumption,overlapping metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease,and serum ferritin levels.The novel nomogram(AP model)demonstrated an area under curve of 0.801(95%confidence interval:0.756-0.845)and 0.785(95%confidence interval:0.712-0.858)in the training and validation groups.Calibration curves indicated good agreement among predicted and actual probabilities(training:χ^(2)=11.860,P=0.157;validation:χ^(2)=7.055,P=0.530).The decision curve analysis underscored the clinical utility of the nomogram for predicting the risk of AP.CONCLUSION The AP model showed reasonable accuracy and provided a clinical foundation for predicting the occurrence of AP in patients with CLD,which has a certain predictive value.

文摘In this paper,we investigate a multi-UAV aided NOMA communication system,where multiple UAV-mounted aerial base stations are employed to serve ground users in the downlink NOMA communication,and each UAV serves its associated users on its own bandwidth.We aim at maximizing the overall common throughput in a finite time period.Such a problem is a typical mixed integer nonlinear problem,which involves both continuous-variable and combinatorial optimizations.To efficiently solve this problem,we propose a two-layer algorithm,which separately tackles continuous-variable and combinatorial optimization.Specifically,in the inner layer given one user association scheme,subproblems of bandwidth allocation,power allocation and trajectory design are solved based on alternating optimization.In the outer layer,a small number of candidate user association schemes are generated from an initial scheme and the best solution can be determined by comparing all the candidate schemes.In particular,a clustering algorithm based on K-means is applied to produce all candidate user association schemes,the successive convex optimization technique is adopted in the power allocation subproblem and a logistic function approximation approach is employed in the trajectory design subproblem.Simulation results show that the proposed NOMA scheme outperforms three baseline schemes in downlink common throughput,including one solution proposed in an existing literature.

文摘AIM:To determine the therapeutic benefits of fenofibrate(Feno)on the dysfunction of high glucose(HG)-induced human retinal microvascular endothelial cells(HRMECs)and to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanism.METHODS:HRMEC dysfunction model was established by 48h glucose(30 mmol/L)treatment and treated with Feno/NOD-like receptor thermal protein domain associated protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome activator(Nigericin).Cell viability/apoptosis were assessed by cell counting kit-8(CCK-8)/terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling assay(TUNEL)staining and flow cytometry assays.Levels of apoptosis-(Bcl-2-associated X protein,Bax/B-cell lymphoma 2,Bcl-2),vascular permeability-(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)and inflammasome activation-related proteins(NLRP3/cleaved caspase-1/apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD,ASC),as well as inflammatory factors(interleukin,IL-6/IL-1β/tumor necrosis factor,TNF-α/IL-18)were determined with Western blot/enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Cell permeability/reactive oxygen species(ROS)level/superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity/malondialdehyde(MDA)content were assessed by Evans blue staining/2',7'-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate(DCFH-DA)fluorescent probe/SOD kit/MDA kit.RESULTS:HRMEC dysfunction was successfully induced by HG,evidenced by decreased viability(P<0.001),increased apoptosis(P<0.001),permeability(P<0.001),and inflammatory factor levels(P<0.001).Feno treatment significantly ameliorated HG-induced HRMEC dysfunction(P<0.01).Meanwhile,HG induction increased ROS production(P<0.001)and MDA content(P<0.001)in HRMECs,while reducing SOD activity(P<0.001),indicative of oxidative stress.This was,however,abolished by Feno(P<0.05).Moreover,Feno eliminated activation of NLRP3 inflammasomes(P<0.05)in HG-induced HRMECs.Strikingly,activation of NLRP3 inflammasomes partially averted the inhibition of Feno on HG-induced HRMEC dysfunction(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Feno represses oxidative stress and NLRP3 inflammasome activation,consequently alleviating HG-induced HRMEC dysfunction.
文摘This article reviews the study,“Fanlian huazhuo formula alleviates high-fat-dietinduced nonalcoholic fatty liver disease by modulating autophagy and lipid synthesis signaling pathway”published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology.The study explores the therapeutic potential of Fanlian Huazhuo formula(FLHZF)in treating metabolic-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD),demonstrating that FLHZF reduces lipid accumulation,oxidative stress,and liver injury in MASLD models by modulating key signaling pathways involved in lipid metabolism and autophagy.This editorial emphasizes the potential of FLHZF as a treatment for MASLD and calls for further research to verify its clinical efficacy.
文摘Objective:To evaluate the predictive value of the neutrophil⁃to⁃lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and the systemic immune⁃inflammation index(SII)in predicting patients with anti⁃melanoma differentiation⁃associated gene 5⁃positive(anti⁃MDA5+)dermatomyositis(DM)develop into the rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease(RPILD).Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the clinical and laboratory data of 124 anti⁃MDA5+DM patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between March 2019 and September 2023.We identified independent risk factors associated with the development and mortality of RPILD with the Cox regression analysis,and determined the optimal cut⁃off values for predicting adverse outcomes with the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.Results:Among the 124 patients,36 patients(29.03%)developed RPILD,and 39 patients(31.45%)died during the follow⁃up period.The results of multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that the elevated NLR was an independent risk factor for RPILD development,while the elevated SII expression was independently associated with the increased mortality of RPILD.Based on the ROC curve analysis,NLR>6.12 was a predictor for RPILD,and SII>875.79 was associated with increased mortality risk of RPILD.Conclusion:Both NLR and SII are accessible,cost⁃effective,and reliable prognostic indicators for the prognosis of patients with anti⁃MDA5^(+)DM,providing a valuable guidance for clinical management and risk stratification of the disease.

文摘Identifying the factors that contribute to individual susceptibility to cancer is essential for both prevention and treatment.The advancement of biotechnologies,particularly next-generation sequencing,has accelerated the discovery of genetic variants linked to cancer susceptibility.While hundreds of cancer-susceptibility genes have been identified,they only explain a small fraction of the overall cancer risk,a phenomenon known as"missing heritability".Despite progress,even considering factors such as epistasis,epigenetics,and gene-environment interactions,the missing heritability remains unresolved.Recent research has revealed that an individual's microbiome composition plays a significant role in cancer susceptibility through several mechanisms,such as modulating immune cell activity and influencing the presence or removal of environmental carcinogens.In this review,we examine the multifaceted roles of the microbiome in cancer risk and explore gene-microbiome and environment-microbiome interactions that may contribute to cancer susceptibility.Additionally,we highlight the importance of experimental models,such as collaborative cross mice,and advanced analytical tools,like artificial intelligence,in identifying microbial factors associated with cancer risk.Understanding these microbial determinants can open new avenues for interventions aimed at reducing cancer risk and guide the development of more effective cancer treatments.
文摘This article examines an early 2nd century BC decree of an association worshipping Zeus Hyetios,“the provider of rain,”in the Koan deme of Antimacheia.Focusing on the prosopographical information of the five individuals mentioned in the decree,this article contextualizes the association’s activities within the broader framework of Hellenistic Kos,highlighting issues such as landownership,migration,and social structures,whilst exploring the association’s agricultural focus,its integration with local deme structures,and its strategies for managing the challenges of absentee landownership.This study also argues that the unusual name of the association reflects the frequent absence of its members from the central cult place,who therefore needed to travel a considerable distance in order to attend the cult’s rituals in Antimacheia.This case underscores the interplay between religious,social,and economic dynamics in rural communities.

文摘Multiple Object Tracking(MOT)is essential for applications such as autonomous driving,surveillance,and analytics;However,challenges such as occlusion,low-resolution imaging,and identity switches remain persistent.We propose HAMOT,a hierarchical adaptive multi-object tracker that solves these challenges with a novel,unified framework.Unlike previous methods that rely on isolated components,HAMOT incorporates a Swin Transformer-based Adaptive Enhancement(STAE)module—comprising Scene-Adaptive Transformer Enhancement and Confidence-Adaptive Feature Refinement—to improve detection under low-visibility conditions.The hierarchical DynamicGraphNeuralNetworkwith TemporalAttention(DGNN-TA)models both short-and long-termassociations,and the Adaptive Unscented Kalman Filter with Gated Recurrent Unit(AUKF-GRU)ensures accurate motion prediction.The novel Graph-Based Density-Aware Clustering(GDAC)improves occlusion recovery by adapting to scene density,preserving identity integrity.This integrated approach enables adaptive responses to complex visual scenarios,Achieving exceptional performance across all evaluation metrics,including aHigher Order TrackingAccuracy(HOTA)of 67.05%,a Multiple Object Tracking Accuracy(MOTA)of 82.4%,an ID F1 Score(IDF1)of 83.1%,and a total of 1052 Identity Switches(IDSW)on theMOT17;66.61%HOTA,78.3%MOTA,82.1%IDF1,and a total of 748 IDSWonMOT20;and 66.4%HOTA,92.32%MOTA,and 68.96%IDF1 on DanceTrack.With fixed thresholds,the full HAMOT model(all six components)achieves real-time functionality at 24 FPS on MOT17 using RTX3090,ensuring robustness and scalability for real-world MOT applications.

文摘There is a paradigm shift in the approach to the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)based on recent research.“Twin cycle hypothesis”and remission of diabetes proved that diabetes is a disease due to excess fat accumulation above the personal fat threshold.Hence,weight reduction and,whenever possible,achievement of remission has become therapeutic target for the management of T2DM.Increasing evidence suggests that T2DM is a part of the spectrum of diseases caused by excess fat accumulation.Hence,it indeed is the need of the hour to update the terminologies to indicate that T2DM is part of the disease spectrum of excess fat accumulation to improve awareness among healthcare professionals and the public to achieve overall holistic management of the disease spectrum.In this short article,we analyze these factors and propose a new terminology for adaptation worldwide.

文摘Understanding the thermodynamic behavior of complex fluids in confined environments is critical for various industrial and natural processes including but not limited to polymer flooding enhanced oil recovery(EOR).In this work,we develop Atif-V2.0,an extended classical density functional theory(cDFT)framework that integrates the interfacial statistical associating fluid theory(iSAFT)to model multicomponent associating fluids composed of water-soluble polymers,alkanes,and water.Building on the original theoretical framework of Atif for modeling nanoconfined inhomogeneous fluids,Atif-V2.0 embeds explicit solvent and captures additional physical interactions-hydrogen bonding,which are critical in associating fluid systems.The other key feature of Atif-V2.0 is its ability to account for polymer topology.We demonstrate its capability by predicting the equilibrium structure and thermodynamic behavior of branched hydrolyzed polyacrylamide solutions near hard walls with various branching topologies,which provides a robust theoretical tool for the rational design of EOR polymers.
文摘China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion(CAAM)is the largest acupuncture-moxibustion in-dividual member science and technology group in the world,and has become an important academic organization leading the development of international acupuncture-moxibustion discipline over the past 40 years.This paper systematically reviews the work of CAAM in international communication,policy making,basic research,scientific knowledge popularization and integrated development of industry,ed-ucation and research.(1)Enhancing the world recognition of acupuncture and moxibustion by means of innovation.(2)Building a highland for the domestic development of acupuncture and moxibustion with comprehensive strategies.(3)Consolidating the foundation for the development of acupuncture-moxibustion discipline.(4)Driving scientific knowledge popularization in a variety of forms and con-tents.(5)Coordinating resources to promote integrated development of industry,education and research.Guided by inheriting the essence and maintaining the right while innovating,CAAM has played an impor-tant role in promoting the modernization and internationalization of acupuncture-moxibustion discipline,and contributed to the construction of Healthy China initiative with our wisdom.Focusing on domestic and international perspectives,CAAM strives to promote the development of acupuncture-moxibustion discipline and industry,and contribute greatly to health for all with acupuncture and moxibustion.CAAM will continue to deepen international cooperation,strengthen talent cultivation,promote the commer-cialization of scientific and research findings,advance the standardization of acupuncture-moxibustion equipment and techniques and build a unified standard system of acupuncture and moxibustion world-wide.
