The assessment of electromagnetic SE for Slotted Composite Structures(SCSs) is particularly challenging due to their complex geometries and there remains a lack of suitable models for accurately predicting the SE performance of these intricate configurations. To address this issue, this paper introduces SCS-Net, a Deep Neural Network (DNN) method designed to accurately predict the SE of SCS. This method considers the impacts of various structural parameters, material properties and incident wave parameters on the SE of SCSs. In order to better model the SCS, an improved Nicolson-Ross-Weir (NRW) method is introduced in this paper to provide an equivalent flat structure for the SCS and to calculate the electromagnetic parameters of the equivalent structure. Additionally, the prediction of SE via DNNs is limited by insufficient test data, which hinders support for large-sample training. To address the issue of limited measured data, this paper develops a Measurement-Computation Fusion (MCF) dataset construction method. The predictions based on the simulation results show that the proposed method maintains an error of less than 0.07 dB within the 8–10 GHz frequency range. Furthermore, a new loss function based on the weighted L1-norm is established to improve the prediction accuracy for these parameters. Compared with traditional loss functions, the new loss function reduces the maximum prediction error for equivalent electromagnetic parameters by 47%. This method significantly improves the prediction accuracy of SCS-Net for measured data, with a maximum improvement of 23.88%. These findings demonstrate that the proposed method enables precise SE prediction and design for composite structures while reducing the number of test samples needed.展开更多

Electrical conductivity is the main factor that affects the electromagnetic shielding properties and the variation tendency of electromagnetic shielding properties of the Mg-x Zn-y Y alloys is consistent with conductivity. Valence of Y and Zn atoms, configuration of extranuclear electron and volumetric difference are main reasons for the variations in the electrical conductivity. A high density of second phase and the formation of semi-continuous network structure can also improve the SE value at high frequencies.展开更多

In this paper, the influence of coated wall loss on the suppression of the resonance effect is investigated. For this purpose, an equivalent circuit model is employed to analyze the SE of an apertured rectangular cavity coated with an inside layer of resistive material. The model is developed by extending Robinson's equivalent circuit model through incorporating the effect of the wall loss into both the propagation constant and the characteristic impedance of the waveguide. Calculation results show that the wall loss could lead to great improvement on the SE for frequencies near the resonance but almost no effect on the SE for frequencies far away from the resonance.展开更多

This problem is converted into another problem of solving the electromagnetic field leakage from the cavity when the cavity is excited by an electric dipole placed within it. By the combination of the unperturbed cavity field and the transfer impedance of the sheet, the tangential electric field distribution on the outer surface of the sheet is obtained. Then, the field distribution is regarded as an equivalent surface magnetic current source responsible for the leakage field. The validation of this model is verified by a comparison with the circuital model and the full-wave simulations. This time-saving model can deal with arbitrary aperture shape, various wave propagation and polarization directions, and the near-field effect.展开更多

文摘Biochar and biochar composites are versatile materials that can be used in many applications. In this study, biochar was prepared from sawdust and combined with the yttrium iron garnet(YIG)nanocrystal to investigate the shielding effectiveness of the composite structure.Firstly, the effect of the pyrolysis temperature on the shielding effectiveness of biochar was investigated.Secondly, biochars combined with YIG nanocrystals with different contents and shielding effectiveness of the composites were investigated. The electromagnetic effectiveness of the samples was investigated within the X band(8-12 GHz).The findings indicate that biochar demonstrates enhanced absorption properties with elevated pyrolysis temperatures.Biochars demonstrated an approximate 40 d B shielding effectiveness, while YIG exhibited approximately 7 d B,corresponding to absorption at 8 GHz.However, the combination of biochar and YIG exhibited exceptional absorption, reaching 67.12 d B at 8 GHz.
文摘Background:While the treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma(mRCC)is evolving due to immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs),optimal strategies for later lines of therapy have yet to be defined. The combination of lenvatinib and everolimus represents a viable option, and the present review aimed to summarize its activity, effectiveness, and safety. Methods:A systematic review of the literature was conducted using PubMed,targeting studies published between 2018 and 2025.Eligible studies included English-language prospective and retrospective trials reporting survival outcomes in mRCC patients treated with lenvatinib and everolimus after at least one ICI-containing regimen. Results:Nine studies met the inclusion criteria, encompassing a total of 441 patients. The lenvatinib and everolimus combination was primarily used in the third and subsequent lines of therapy.Median overall survival ranged from 7.5 to 24.5 months, while median progression-free survival was more consistent, between 6.1 and 6.7 months, except for one study reporting 12.9 months. Objective response rates varied widely(14.0%–55.7%).Adverse events of grade≥3 did not exceed the expected rate, with diarrhoea and proteinuria as the most reported events.Dose reductions and treatment discontinuations due to toxicity occurred but were generally lower than in prior pivotal trials.Conclusions:Real-world evidence suggests that lenvatinib and everolimus represent an effective and safe option after ICI failure in mRCC patients.Nevertheless, the lack of randomized phase III trials and the heterogeneity of existing studies highlight the need for more robust prospective research to guide post-ICI therapeutic strategies.

文摘Microstructure, electrical conductivity, and electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding effectiveness(SE) of cast Mg-x Zn-y Y(x = 2–5, y = 1–10) alloys were systematically investigated to understand the effects of Zn and Y additions on electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the alloys.Experimental results indicate that the electrical conductivity and SE of the Mg-x Zn-y Y alloys decrease with Y/Zn ratio. A high density of second phase and the formation of semi-continuous network structure can also improve the SE value at high frequencies.

文摘Ni-P and Ni-P-La alloy coatings were prepared by electroplating. Electromagnetic shielding effectiveness under the different components of rare earth or the different operating conditions was tested by the network analyzer. The results show that electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of Ni-P-La alloy coating varies from 45 dB to 70 dB with the variety of the frequency from 10 MHz to 350 MHz. Corrosion of the salt fog impacts on the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness a little. A small amount of rare earth added to plating bath can not only enhance corrosion resistance of coating, but make electromagnetic shielding effectiveness increase by 1 ~ 5 dB.

文摘The cavity-mode resonance effect could result in significant degradation of the shielding effectiveness (SE) of a shielding enclosure around its resonance frequencies. Calculation results show that the wall loss could lead to great improvement on the SE for frequencies near the resonance but almost no effect on the SE for frequencies far away from the resonance.

文摘In this article, hybrid fillers with different dimensions, namely, 2-dimensional(2-D) expanded graphite(EG) and 1-dimensional(1-D) multi-walled carbon nanotubes(CNTs), were added to aromatic nylon MXD6 matrix via melt-blending, to enhance its thermal and electrical conductivity as well as electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(EMI SE). For ternary composites of MXD6/EG/CNTs, the electrical conductivity reaches up nine orders of magnitude higher compared to that of the neat MXD6 sample, which turned the polymer-based composites from an insulator to a conductor, and the thermal conductivity has been enhanced by 477% compared with that of neat MXD6 sample. Meanwhile, the EMI SE of ternary composite reaches ~50 d B at the overall filler loading of only 18 wt%. This work can provide guidance for the preparation of polymer composites with excellent thermal and electrical conductivity via using hybrid filler.

文摘The microstructure, electrical conductivity and electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of Mg-X(X=Al,Sn,Y and Gd)alloys in as-cast and solution states were systematically investigated in this study. The electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding capacity of binary magnesium alloys decrease linearly with alloying element content. The electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the binary magnesium alloys with the same alloying element content is as follows:Mg-Gd<Mg-Sn<Mg-Y<Mg-Al.The main reason for the differences in electromagnetic interference shielding of the binary magnesium alloys is the change in conductivity, which is mainly affected by volumetric difference of solute atoms and magnesium atoms, solute atomic valence and configuration of extranuclear electron.

文摘Achieving excellent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding effectiveness(SE)in high rare earth(RE)-content Mg alloys is currently a significant technical challenge. This work systematically investigated the effects of different Nd elements on the electrical conductivity and EMI SE of Mg-12Gd-3Y-xNd alloy by adding Nd elements to the high RE content Mg-12Gd-3Y alloy, followed by a combined process of hot rolling and aging(R-A).The results indicate that the addition of Nd elements leads to reduced solid solubility of Gd and Y,resulting in a large amount of precipitation. The Mg-12Gd-3Y-2.0Nd alloy has the optimum EMI SE after 63%R-A treatment, reaching 88-118 dB at 30-1500 MHz.The Mg-12Gd-3Y-xNd alloy has acicular and granular forms of the Mg5(Gd,Y,Nd)(abbreviated as Mg5RE)phase after R-A treatment. The granular Mg5RE phase gradually breaks up and refines into more minor scales with increasing rolling reduction and is diffusely distributed in the matrix. The acicular Mg5RE phase is densely arranged, with cross-distribution in some areas. The cross-distributed acicular Mg5RE phase, the delicate granular Mg5RE phase, and the denseβ′phase provide more interfaces for reflecting electromagnetic waves and increase the multiple reflection loss of incident electromagnetic waves. In addition, the Mg-12Gd-3Y-xNd alloy deflects most of the c-axis of the grains parallel to the normal direction(ND)as the rolling reduction increases, making the impedance difference between the plate surface and air larger. The increased impedance makes the material reflect more loss to incident electromagnetic waves. The combined use of these two leads to an excellent EMI SE of Mg-12Gd-3Y-xNd with high RE content after R-A treatment.

文摘According to the reciprocity principle, we propose an efficient model to compute the shielding effectiveness of a rectangular cavity with apertures covered by conductive sheet against an external incident electromagnetic wave. This time-saving model can deal with arbitrary aperture shape, various wave propagation and polarization directions, and the near-field effect.

文摘With the increasing application in electromagnetic interference shielding field of high polymer materials, there is an increasing interest in investigating of high polymer composites. The effects of carbon black fraction on volume resistivity and electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (SE) of nanostructural carbon black (CB)/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) composites were studied. The results indicated that when CB mass fraction was over 15%, the volume resistivity dropped sharply and when it rose to 35%, the volume resistivity achieved the lowest value 103 Ω?cm and the SE was about 6 dB. In addition, there are two obvious percolation effect at 15% ~ 20% and 30% ~ 35% CB respectively in the course of the volume resistivity changing.

文摘To characterize the shielding effectiveness(SE)of materials against electromagnetic pulse(EMP)that cannot be adequately evaluated by traditional test methods,a transfer function model of SE is proposed.Using homemade broadband coaxial fixture, the SE of a metal fabric material against square-pulse and electrostatic discharge(ESD)EMP is tested in the time domain. The peak SE calculated from the test results matches well with that obtained theoretically.Based on the system identification theory,we propose the transfer function model of SE,which takes the square pulse and human body model ESD EMP data obtained in the tests as training data and takes the machine model as verification data,as well as a second-order expression of the transfer function.Using the transfer function model, the waveforms of the shield-penetrated square-pulse EMP and the ESD EMP are actually predicted. From the perspective of system identification, this accurate prediction of the shielded waveform of EMP provides a reliable way for evaluating SE of materials against EMP.

文摘An efficient method was proposed to prepare high-performance conductive AramidCarbon Blend Fabrics(ACBF)with cobalt-nickel(Co-Ni)alloy coatings, which is conducive to industrial production. The grid-like substrate composed of aramid and carbon fibers was innovatively used in flexible Electromagnetic Interference(EMI)shielding materials. The natural network structure is advantageous to the uniform deposition of metal particles to the establishment of conductive pathways subsequently in order to improve conductivity. The induction of a synergistic effect from Electromagnetic(EM)wave-reflection and EM wave-absorption through the whole carbonCo-Ni-ternary system notably enhanced the EMI Shielding Effectiveness(SE)value to an average of 42.57 d B in the range of 30-6000 MHz.On the other hand, together with the inherent toughness of the alloy coatings, the tensile strength of the aramid fibers used for bulletproof made a significant contribution to the desired mechanical properties. The light weight of the resultant composite made it applicable to aerospace vehicles simultaneously.X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS)was conducted to investigate the variations of elements and groups on the sample surface in pretreating process. The elemental components and surface morphologies of fabric samples during different stages of the process were investigated by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM)and Energy Dispersive spectrometer(EDX)measurements.X-Ray Diffraction(XRD)results indicated that the obtained Co-Ni alloy coating had a combined Hexagonal Closed-Packed(HCP)and FacedCentered Cubic(FCC)crystalline phase. The relatively high corrosion resistance demonstrated in different acid and alkaline conditions was instrumental in more complex environments as well.
