Porosity, volume of shale and water saturation has been evaluated for reservoirs of Upper Assam basin, located in northeastern India from well log and seismic data. Absolute acoustic impedance(AAI) and relative acoustic impedance(RAI) are generated from model based inversion of 2-D post-stack seismic data. The top of geological formation, sand reservoirs, shale layers and discontinuities at faults are detected in RAI section under the study area. Chaha is one of the low-resource languages, which suffers from the problem of resource insufficiency and some of its phonological, morphological, and orthographic features challenge the development and initiatives in the area of ASR. By considering these challenges, this study is the first endeavor, which analyzed the characteristics of the language, prepared speech corpus, and developed different ASR systems. A small 3-hour read speech corpus was prepared and transcribed. Different basic and rounded phone unit-based speech recognizers were explored using multilingual deep neural network (DNN) modeling methods. The experimental results demonstrated that all the basic phone and rounded phone unit-based multilingual models outperformed the corresponding unilingual models with the relative performance improvements of 5.47% to 19.87% and 5.74% to 16.77%, respectively. The rounded phone unit-based multilingual models outperformed the equivalent basic phone unit-based models with relative performance improvements of 0.95% to 4.98%. Overall, we discovered that multilingual DNN modeling methods are profoundly effective to develop Chaha speech recognizers. Both the basic and rounded phone acoustic units are convenient to build Chaha ASR system. However, the rounded phone unit-based models are superior in performance and faster in recognition speed over the corresponding basic phone unit-based models. Hence, the rounded phone units are the most suitable acoustic units to develop Chaha ASR systems.展开更多

In this paper, a Hill function-based ordinary differential equation (ODE) model is proposed to infer gene regulatory network (GRN). A hybrid evolutionary algorithm based on binary grey wolf optimization (BGWO) and grey wolf optimization (GWO) is proposed to identify the structure and parameters of the Hill function-based model. In order to restrict the search space and eliminate the redundant regulatory relationships, L1 regularizer was added to the fitness function. SOS repair network was used to test the proposed method. The experimental results show that this method can infer gene regulatory network more accurately than state of the art methods.展开更多

Particles have properties that uniquely characterize them from one another, such as mass, charge and spin. Charged particles have associated Electric and Magnetic fields. Also, every moving particle has a De Broglie wavelength determined by its mass and velocity. This paper shows that all of these properties of a particle can be derived from a single wave function equation for that particle. Wave functions for the Electron and the Positron are presented and principles are provided that can be used to calculate the wave functions of all the fundamental particles in Physics. Fundamental particles such as electrons and positrons are considered to be point particles in the Standard Model of Physics and are not considered to have a structure. This paper demonstrates that they do indeed have structure and that this structure extends into the space around the particle’s center (in fact, they have infinite extent), but with rapidly diminishing energy density with the distance from that center. The particles are formed from Electromagnetic standing waves, which are stable solutions to the Schrödinger and Classical wave equations. This stable structure therefore accounts for both the wave and particle nature of these particles. In fact, all of their properties such as mass, spin and electric charge, can be accounted for from this structure. These particle properties appear to originate from a single point at the center of the wave function structure, in the same sort of way that the Shell theorem of gravity causes the gravity of a body to appear to all originate from a central point. This paper represents the first two fully characterized fundamental particles, with a complete description of their structure and properties, built up from the underlying Electromagnetic waves that comprise these and all fundamental particles.展开更多

The subject of this study is to determine the best route for starting the BRT line based on the eight objectives of the subset of the users’ needs, route of the fleet movement and its traffic conditions and the conditions of the operating organization, between the Fixed Origin and destination. The Analytic Network Process has been used to prioritize the intended goals and determine the contribution of each to advance the issue. Replacing a hierarchical structure with a network structure in order to model the complex communication between decision elements is the advantage of the Analytic Network Process compared to the conventional methods of multi-criteria evaluation. Then, urban roads are categorized according to their role in relation to each of the problem parameters, and finally, the selected route is identified using the Arc GIS10.5 specialized software. The reached path (between the Qods terminal and the Khorram terminal) has been able to cover a population of 40,000 people, equivalent to 20 percent of the population of the study area. Considering a large number of parameters affecting in this problem, has created comprehensive result from the understanding and application of factors affecting the process of the problem, as opposed to most existing studies that use up to two or three goals.展开更多

As a consequence, the statistical characteristics of the received signal vary continuously, giving rise to a Doppler power spectral density (DPSD) that varies from one observation instant to the next. This paper is concerned with dynamical modeling of time-varying wireless fading channels, their estimation and parameter identification, and optimal power control from received signal measurement data. The wireless channel is characterized using a stochastic state-space form and derived by approximating the time-varying DPSD of the channel. The expected maximization and Kalman filter are employed to recursively identify and estimate the channel parameters and states, respectively, from online received signal strength measured data. Moreover, we investigate a centralized optimal power control algorithm based on predictable strategies and employing the estimated channel parameters and states. The proposed models together with the estimation and power control algorithms are tested using experimental measurement data and the results are presented.展开更多

A net model of formation of mathematical knowledge as a deductive theory is suggested here. Within this model the formation of deductive theory is represented as the development of a certain informational space, the elements of which are structured in the form of the orientated semantic net. This net is properly metrized and characterized by a certain system of coverings. It allows injecting net optimization parameters, regulating qualitative aspects of knowledge system under consideration. To regulate the creative processes of the formation and realization of mathematical know- edge, stochastic model of formation deductive theory is suggested here in the form of branching Markovian process, which is realized in the corresponding informational space as a semantic net. The performed analysis of BBM shows that the Four Pillars of the Standard Cosmology are model-dependent and not strong enough to support the model. The angular momentum problem is one of the most critical problems in BBM. Standard Cosmology cannot explain how Galaxies and Extra Solar systems obtained their substantial orbital and rotational angular momenta, and why the orbital momentum of Jupiter is considerably larger than the rotational momentum of the Sun. WUM is the only cosmological model in existence that is consistent with the Law of Conservation of Angular Momentum. To be consistent with this Fundamental Law, WUM discusses in detail the Beginning of the World. The Model introduces Dark Epoch (spanning from the Beginning of the World for 0.4 billion years) when only Dark Matter Particles (DMPs) existed, and Luminous Epoch (ever since for 13.8 billion years). Big Bang discussed in Standard Cosmology is, in our view, transition from Dark Epoch to Luminous Epoch due to Rotational Fission of Overspinning Dark Matter (DM) Supercluster’s Cores. WUM envisions Matter carried from the Universe into the World from the fourth spatial dimension by DMPs. Ordinary Matter is a byproduct of DM annihilation. WUM solves a number of physical problems in contemporary Cosmology and Astrophysics through DMPs and their interactions: Angular Momentum problem in birth and subsequent evolution of Galaxies and Extrasolar systems—how do they obtain it;Fermi Bubbles—two large structures in gamma-rays and X-rays above and below Galactic center;Diversity of Gravitationally-Rounded Objects in Solar system;some problems in Solar and Geophysics [1]. WUM reveals Inter-Connectivity of Primary Cosmological Parameters and calculates their values, which are in good agreement with the latest results of their measurements.展开更多

The movement of vehicles and the three-dimensional (3D) nature of the road network cause the topologicalstructure of IoV to have the high space and time complexity.Network modeling and structure recognition for 3Droads can benefit the description of topological changes for IoV. This paper proposes a 3Dgeneral roadmodel basedon discrete points of roads obtained from GIS. First, the constraints imposed by 3D roads on moving vehicles areanalyzed. Then the effects of road curvature radius (Ra), longitudinal slope (Slo), and length (Len) on speed andacceleration are studied. Finally, a general 3D road network model based on road section features is established. This paper also presents intersection and road section recognition methods based on the structural features ofthe 3D road network model and the road features. Real GIS data from a specific region of Beijing is adopted tocreate the simulation scenario, and the simulation results validate the general 3D road network model and therecognitionmethod. Therefore, thiswork makes contributions to the field of intelligent transportation by providinga comprehensive approach tomodeling the 3Droad network and its topological changes in achieving efficient trafficflowand improved road safety.展开更多

文摘Metabolomics covers a wide range of applications in life sciences, biomedicine, and phytology.Data acquisition(to achieve high coverage and efficiency)and analysis(to pursue good classification)are two key segments involved in metabolomics workflows.Various chemometric approaches utilizing either pattern recognition or machine learning have been employed to separate different groups. However, insufficient feature extraction, inappropriate feature selection, overfitting,or underfitting lead to an insufficient capacity to discriminate plants that are often easily confused.Using two ginseng varieties, namely Panax japonicus(PJ)and Panax japonicus var.major(PJvm),containing the similar ginsenosides,we integrated pseudo-targeted metabolomics and deep neural network(DNN)modeling to achieve accurate species differentiation.A pseudo-targeted metabolomics approach was optimized through data acquisition mode, ion pairs generation, comparison between multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)and scheduled MRM(sMRM),and chromatographic elution gradient. In total,1980 ion pairs were monitored within 23 min, allowing for the most comprehensive ginseng metabolome analysis. The established DNN model demonstrated excellent classification performance(in terms of accuracy,precision,recall,F1 score, area under the curve, and receiver operating characteristic(ROC))using the entire metabolome data and feature-selection dataset, exhibiting superior advantages over random forest(RF),support vector machine(SVM),extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),and multilayer perceptron(MLP).Moreover,DNNs were advantageous for automated feature learning, nonlinear modeling, adaptability, and generalization. This study confirmed practicality of the established strategy for efficient metabolomics data analysis and reliable classification performance even when using small-volume samples. This established approach holds promise for plant metabolomics and is not limited to ginseng.

文摘Control signaling is mandatory for the operation and management of all types of communication networks, including the Third Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)mobile broadband networks. However, they consume important and scarce network resources such as bandwidth and processing power. There have been several reports of these control signaling turning into signaling storms halting network operations and causing the respective Telecom companies big financial losses. This paper draws its motivation from such real network disaster incidents attributed to signaling storms. In this paper,we present a thorough survey of the causes,of the signaling storm problems in 3GPP-based mobile broadband networks and discuss in detail their possible solutions and countermeasures. We provide relevant analytical models to help quantify the effect of the potential causes and benefits of their corresponding solutions.Another important contribution of this paper is the comparison of the possible causes and solutions/countermeasures,concerning their effect on several important network aspects such as architecture, additional signaling, fidelity, etc.,in the form of a table. This paper presents an update and an extension of our earlier conference publication. To our knowledge,no similar survey study exists on the subject.

文摘Current hyperelastic constitutive models of hydrogels face difficulties in capturing the stress-strain behaviors of hydrogels under extremely large deformation because the effect of non-affine deformation of the polymer network inside is ambiguous. In this work,we construct periodic random network(PRN)models for the effective polymer network in hydrogels and investigate the non-affine deformation of polymer chains intrinsically originates from the structural randomness from bottom up.The non-affine deformation in PRN models is manifested as the actual stretch of polymer chains randomly deviated from the chain stretch predicted by affine assumption, and quantified by a non-affine ratio of each polymer chain. It is found that the non-affine ratios of polymer chains are closely related to bulk deformation state, chain orientation, and initial chain elongation.By fitting the non-affine ratio of polymer chains in all PRN models,we propose a non-affine constitutive model for the hydrogel polymer network based on micro-sphere model. The stress-strain curves of the proposed constitutive models under uniaxial tension condition agree with the simulation results of different PRN models of hydrogels very well.
文摘Automatic speech recognition (ASR) is vital for very low-resource languages for mitigating the extinction trouble. Hence, the rounded phone units are the most suitable acoustic units to develop Chaha ASR systems.
文摘Gene regulatory network inference helps understand the regulatory mechanism among genes, predict the functions of unknown genes, comprehend the pathogenesis of disease and speed up drug development. The experimental results show that this method can infer gene regulatory network more accurately than state of the art methods.
文摘The wave/particle duality of particles in Physics is well known. This paper represents the first two fully characterized fundamental particles, with a complete description of their structure and properties, built up from the underlying Electromagnetic waves that comprise these and all fundamental particles.
文摘The first and most important step in designing a public transportation system is to determine the best way to move the fleet, which, in addition to providing the maximum demand for passengers, can be appropriate in terms of economic parameters and operating costs for the operating organization. Considering a large number of parameters affecting in this problem, has created comprehensive result from the understanding and application of factors affecting the process of the problem, as opposed to most existing studies that use up to two or three goals.

文摘Natural slopes usually display complicated exposed rock surfaces that are characterized by complex and substantial terrain undulation and ubiquitous undesirable phenomena such as vegetation cover and rockfalls. This study presents a systematic outcrop research of fracture pattern variations in a complicated rock slope, and the qualitative and quantitative study of the complex phenomena impact on threedimensional(3D)discrete fracture network(DFN)modeling. As the studies of the outcrop fracture pattern have been so far focused on local variations, thus,we put forward a statistical analysis of global variations. The entire outcrop is partitioned into several subzones, and the subzone-scale variability of fracture geometric properties is analyzed(including the orientation, the density, and the trace length). The results reveal significant variations in fracture characteristics(such as the concentrative degree, the average orientation, the density, and the trace length)among different subzones. Moreover, the density of fracture sets, which is approximately parallel to the slope surface, exhibits a notably higher value compared to other fracture sets across all subzones. To improve the accuracy of the DFN modeling, the effects of three common phenomena resulting from vegetation and rockfalls are qualitatively analyzed and the corresponding quantitative data processing solutions are proposed.Subsequently, the 3D fracture geometric parameters are determined for different areas of the high-steep rock slope in terms of the subzone dimensions. The results show significant variations in the same set of 3D fracture parameters across different regions with density differing by up to tenfold and mean trace length exhibiting differences of 3e4 times. The study results present precise geological structural information, improve modeling accuracy, and provide practical solutions for addressing complex outcrop issues.
文摘Wireless networks are characterized by nodes mobility, which makes the propagation environment time-varying and subject to fading. The proposed models together with the estimation and power control algorithms are tested using experimental measurement data and the results are presented.
文摘The aim of this work is mathematical education through the knowledge system and mathematical modeling. According to this stochastic model we can get correct foundation of criterion of optimization creative processes that leads to “great main points” strategy (GMP-strategy) in the process of realization of the effective control in the research work in the sphere of mathematics and its applications.
文摘Despite the high efficiency of remote sensing methods for rapid and large-scale detection of subsidence phenomena, this technique has limitations such as atmospheric impact and temporal and spatial decorrelation that affect the accuracy of the results. This paper proposes a method based on an artificial neural network to improve the results of monitoring land subsidence due to groundwater overexploitation by radar interferometry in the Aliabad plain(Central Iran). In this regard, vertical ground deformations were monitored over 18 months using the Sentinel-1A SAR images. To model the land subsidence by a multilayer perceptron(MLP)artificial neural network, four parameters, including groundwater level, alluvial thickness, elastic modulus, and transmissivity have been applied. The model's generalizability was assessed using data derived for 144 days.According to the results, the neural network estimates the land subsidence at each ground point with an accuracy of 6.8 mm.A comparison between the predicted and actual values indicated a significant agreement. The MLP model can be used to improve the results of subsidence detection in the study area or other areas with similar characteristics.
文摘This manuscript provides a comparison of the Hypersphere World-Universe Model (WUM) with the prevailing Big Bang Model (BBM) of the Standard Cosmology. WUM reveals Inter-Connectivity of Primary Cosmological Parameters and calculates their values, which are in good agreement with the latest results of their measurements.

文摘Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is a new system that enables individual vehicles to connect with nearby vehicles, people, transportation infrastructure, and networks, thereby realizing amore intelligent and efficient transportationsystem. Therefore, thiswork makes contributions to the field of intelligent transportation by providinga comprehensive approach tomodeling the 3Droad network and its topological changes in achieving efficient trafficflowand improved road safety.

文摘The void closure behavior in a central extra-thick plate during the gradient temperature rolling was simulated and a back propagation(BP)neural network model was established. The thermal–mechanical finite element model of the gradient temperature rolling process was first developed and validated. The prediction error of the model for the rolling force is less than 2.51%,which has provided the feasibility of imbedding a defect in it.Based on the relevant data obtained from the simulation, the BP neural network was used to establish a prediction model for the compression degree of a void defect. After statistical analysis,80%of the data had a hit rate higher than 95%,and the hit rate of all data was higher than 90%,which indicates that the BP neural network can accurately predict the compression degree.Meanwhile, the comparisons between the results with the gradient temperature rolling and uniform temperature rolling, and between the results with the single-pass rolling and multi-pass rolling were discussed, which provides a theoretical reference for developing process parameters in actual production.

文摘A distributionally robust model predictive control(DRMPC)scheme is proposed based on neural network(NN)modeling to achieve the trajectory tracking control of robot manipulators with state and control torque constraints.First,an NN is used to fit the motion data of robot manipulators for data-driven dynamic modeling, converting it into a linear prediction model through gradients. Then,by statistically analyzing the stochastic characteristics of the NN modeling errors,a distributionally robust model predictive controller is designed based on the chance constraints, and the optimization problem is transformed into a tractable quadratic programming(QP)problem under the distributionally robust optimization(DRO)framework. The recursive feasibility and convergence of the proposed algorithm are proven. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified through numerical simulation.
