A study has been made of the fatigue crack growth in an Al-Li alloy 2091 in 3.5%NaCl solu- tion and at an elevated temperature of 130℃.The aging and environmental effects on the crack growth behaviour were examined.I...A study has been made of the fatigue crack growth in an Al-Li alloy 2091 in 3.5%NaCl solu- tion and at an elevated temperature of 130℃.The aging and environmental effects on the crack growth behaviour were examined.It is shown that the fatigue crack growth resistance decreases with aging.The specimen with underaged structures shows the highest resistance to fatigue crack growth due to more deflected crack paths and the resulting high crack closure levels.As compared to laborato- ry air,both 3.5% NaCl solution and elevated tem- perature of 130℃ cause an increase of near-thresh- old crack growth rates and a decrease of threshold levels.The elevated temperature is more effective. The effect of elevated temperature is mainly due to the precipitate coarsening which results in an enhancement of slip irreversibility.Hydrogen embritttlement is supposed to be responsible for the degradation of fatigue crack growth resistance in 3.5%NaCl solution展开更多

The thermal stability of amorphous ternary hydrides Mg_(50)Ni_(50)H_(54) and Mg_(30)Ni_(70)H_(45) and their corre- sponding amorphous binary alloys Mg_(50)Ni_(50) and Mg_(30)Ni_(70) were studied with X-ray diffraction...The thermal stability of amorphous ternary hydrides Mg_(50)Ni_(50)H_(54) and Mg_(30)Ni_(70)H_(45) and their corre- sponding amorphous binary alloys Mg_(50)Ni_(50) and Mg_(30)Ni_(70) were studied with X-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). Samples of the amorphous alloys were prepared by mechanical alloying and the amorphous hydrides were obtained by charging the alloys with gas- eous hydrogen at 3.0 MPa and 423 K. It was found that the amorphous hydrides released most of their hydrogen before the crystallization of the essentially hydrogen depleted amorphous alloy. The crystallization temperature of amorphous Mg_(50)Ni_(50)H_(54) elevated and that of amorphous Mg_(30)Ni_(70)H_(45) did not change in relation to the original binary amorphous alloy. This is very excep- tional for amorphous hydrides. The reason for the effects of hydrogen absorption/desorption on the crystallization of amorphous alloys was discussed.展开更多

An investigation has been made of the disloca- tion distribution and dislocation free zone near the crack tip in bulk Fe-3% Si single crystal during deformation in SEM.It has been found that a number of dislocations w...An investigation has been made of the disloca- tion distribution and dislocation free zone near the crack tip in bulk Fe-3% Si single crystal during deformation in SEM.It has been found that a number of dislocations were emitted from the crack tip during deformation.After that,the dislocations moved rapidly away from the crack tip,which indi- cated that they were strongly repelled by the stress field at the crack tip.Between the crack tip and the plastic zone there is a region of dislocation-free, which is referred to as dislocation-free zone (DFZ). The length of DFZs is roughly estimated 100 μm which is much longer than that found in thin foil specimen.The variation of dislocation density as a function of the distance from the crack tip was measured,which showed that the dislocations are inversely piled up in the plastic zone.The length of DFZs increased with both the length of pre-crack and the amplitude of applied stress.展开更多

The acoustic emission(AE)characteristics measured during tensile deformation in the alloy were related to prior aging treatment and orienta- tions of samples. A rms AE peak occurred in all the samples at plastic strain greater than one percent. The heights of peaks have been measured as a function of prior heat treatment.The shift of the peak location was dependent on heat treat- ment in samples with L- and T-orientation. The pre-yield,burst-type emission(PYBE)were observed in S-orientated samples.The behaviours of PYBE were as a function of prior ageing treat- ment too. The stress and plastic strains at which the AE peak stress were generated were consistent with the peaks arising from the fracture and debonding of inclusions.Waveform frequency analysis of AE signals and fractographic observa- tions using SEM as well as data of microhardness and charpy test were also consistent with be- haviours of AE,that is,high stress required for the rms peak or the initiation of the PYBE, was higher for the heat treatment,at which the interface between inclusion and matrix was weaker.展开更多

The total conductivity of the specimen cont...The structure and electric properties of the mixed conductors of Li_(1+x)V_3O_8(x=0.1) containing dispersed second-phase α-Al_2O_3 particles have been studied in the paper. The total conductivity of the specimen containing 6m/o α-Al_2O_3 is five or six times as much as that of pure Li_(1+x)V_3O_8 (x=0.1) at room temperature. By the analyses of NMR and ESR, it is known that at low temperature, the transport activation energy of Li^+ ions reduced, the transport frequency of Li^+ ions are speeded up and thus ionic conductivity increased in the specimens containing α-Al_2O_3 particles. At high temperature, diffusion effect of α-Al_2O_3 on electronic transport becomes great, the enhancement of ionic conductivity caused by α-Al_2O_3 doesn't make up the decrease of electronic conductivity caused by the diffusion effect, so that total conductivity of the specimens containing DSPP is lower than that of pure Li_(1+x)V_3O_8(x=0.1). As a result, DSPP mainly increases ionic conductivity of the mixed conductors at room temperature.展开更多
The relationship between the high-frequency magnetic properties and surface structure of the amorphous [Co_(0.94-x)Fe_(0.06)(MnMo)_x]_(77)(SiB)_(23) alloys annealed at 400-500℃ then control-cooled was investigated us...The relationship between the high-frequency magnetic properties and surface structure of the amorphous [Co_(0.94-x)Fe_(0.06)(MnMo)_x]_(77)(SiB)_(23) alloys annealed at 400-500℃ then control-cooled was investigated using XRD,TEM and XPS techniques.The results have shown that the high-frequency losses of the present alloys ob- viously reduced after suitable treatment.A crystalline layer with ultrafine grains of γ-Co formed on the surface of the amorphous ribbons.The size of the grains is 10-20 nm.The thickness of the layer is less than 0.1 μm.The sur- face of the crystalline layer is covered with an extremely thin oxide film which is very uniform and dense with thickness of less than 30 nm,the size of grains of the oxide is less than 10 nm.These ultrafine grains and the dense oxide film effectively refine the magnetic domains and increase the resistance of the layers of the magnetic core,consequently the losses at high frequency are fairly reduced.展开更多

文摘The slow relaxation of resistance and memory effect in TisoNi_(47)Fe_3 shape memory alloy(SMA) are found for the first time.An evidence for CDW mechanism of incommensurate and commensurate phases in SMA was provided.
文摘The bio-glass in the Na2O-Ca2O-P2O5-SiO2 system involved in tins paper is highly bio-active. The hydrolization of this glass with calcium phosphate and low silica is studied. The structure-composition-property relation of the glass is discussed by means of IR spectrum, DTA and SEM. This study shows that: (a)the structure of the glass is mainly chain-like or layer-like; (b) the glass is separated into a calcium phosphate-rich phase and a silica-rich phase; (c)the chuin- or layer-like structure and the separation hare advantages with hydrolization.
文摘The system of LiH-LiF-P_2O_5 ionic conductor glass is prepared in neutral atmosphere and glass -forming region is given. The structure and coor- dination of glass are analyzed by IR spectra. Raman spectra and RDF(r). The result indicates that the (PO_4), (PO_3F) and (LiF_4) tetrahedra are basical structure units of glass network and the coordina- tion number of Li is 4. The coordination number of P is 4. The glass random network structure model is given. The study on structure shows that Li^+, H^- and partial F^- are charge carriers in glass system.
文摘The structure and electric properties of the mixed conductors of Li_(1+x)V_3O_8(x=0.1) containing dispersed second-phase α-Al_2O_3 particles have been studied in the paper. The total conductivity of the specimen containing 6m/o α-Al_2O_3 is five or six times as much as that of pure Li_(1+x)V_3O_8 (x=0.1) at room temperature. By the analyses of NMR and ESR, it is known that at low temperature, the transport activation energy of Li^+ ions reduced, the transport frequency of Li^+ ions are speeded up and thus ionic conductivity increased in the specimens containing α-Al_2O_3 particles. At high temperature, diffusion effect of α-Al_2O_3 on electronic transport becomes great, the enhancement of ionic conductivity caused by α-Al_2O_3 doesn't make up the decrease of electronic conductivity caused by the diffusion effect, so that total conductivity of the specimens containing DSPP is lower than that of pure Li_(1+x)V_3O_8(x=0.1). As a result, DSPP mainly increases ionic conductivity of the mixed conductors at room temperature.
文摘The relationship between the high-frequency magnetic properties and surface structure of the amorphous [Co_(0.94-x)Fe_(0.06)(MnMo)_x]_(77)(SiB)_(23) alloys annealed at 400-500℃ then control-cooled was investigated using XRD,TEM and XPS techniques.The results have shown that the high-frequency losses of the present alloys ob- viously reduced after suitable treatment.A crystalline layer with ultrafine grains of γ-Co formed on the surface of the amorphous ribbons.The size of the grains is 10-20 nm.The thickness of the layer is less than 0.1 μm.The sur- face of the crystalline layer is covered with an extremely thin oxide film which is very uniform and dense with thickness of less than 30 nm,the size of grains of the oxide is less than 10 nm.These ultrafine grains and the dense oxide film effectively refine the magnetic domains and increase the resistance of the layers of the magnetic core,consequently the losses at high frequency are fairly reduced.
