A new gene,named as NTZDS1(GenBank accession number:EU138882),was cloned from the alabastrum of Narcissus tazetta var.chinensis through RT-PCR.The sequence consists of 1 899 bp,has an open reading frame of 1 725 bp en...A new gene,named as NTZDS1(GenBank accession number:EU138882),was cloned from the alabastrum of Narcissus tazetta var.chinensis through RT-PCR.The sequence consists of 1 899 bp,has an open reading frame of 1 725 bp encoding a polypeptide of 574 amino acids.Homology analysis showed that the deduced NTZDS1 protein was highly homologous to other ZDS proteins from different species.Phylogenetic analysis indicated that NTZDS1 was more related to ZDS of Narcissus pseudonarcissus(O 49901).NTZDS1 gene was detected in flowers,leaves and roots except scales,and expression level was especially high in flowers.Within open flowers,level was the highest in petals and higher in corana while lower in stamens and pistils.展开更多
