Methods: 100 elderly patients with mental disorders in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were selected as research objects and randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing while the treatment group was given comprehensive nursing intervention. After the study, the incidence rates of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: the incidence of falls in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: comprehensive nursing intervention for hospitalized elderly patients with mental disorders is helpful to reduce the incidence of falls and ensure the safety of patients' lives.
