The purpose of this qualitative inquiry is to explore Jesus Christ's teachings through the lens of the Spiritism Doctrine(SD),a relatively novel Christian religion.Further,SD literature is fundamentally rooted in ...The purpose of this qualitative inquiry is to explore Jesus Christ's teachings through the lens of the Spiritism Doctrine(SD),a relatively novel Christian religion.Further,SD literature is fundamentally rooted in the faith in the hereafter;the spirits'messages and teachings through mediums;Jesus Christ's teachings(the Gospel)as well as His behavior as a role model that must be followed by all human beings;and the practice of charity.Overall,the findings showed a rich body of knowledge,teachings,and lessons aiming to help the spiritual progress of humankind.That is,it was identified three larger themes,i.e.,mankind,who is Jesus,and His legacy,which shape a theoretical contribution of Jesus Christ's spiritual legacy in our lives.Jesus Christ carried out an authentic work-applied management through which He conveyed a new vision and superior values that continue inspiring us to change the way we think and behave.Furthermore,Jesus Christ's life and message may certainly help us handle the sensitive situations that may affect our lives on the planet,including the way our organizations and institutions are run as well as our professional careers are approached by inspiring new paths and wisdom behavior.展开更多
The article seeks to present spiritual abuse and the untold harm it causes.While cognisant of the fact that this kind of abuse can occur within any faith context,the focus of this study is the possible existence of th...The article seeks to present spiritual abuse and the untold harm it causes.While cognisant of the fact that this kind of abuse can occur within any faith context,the focus of this study is the possible existence of the phenomenon within certain Christian religious groups,such as lay associations and movements,although it can take place within other more formal ecclesial structures such as dioceses,parishes,and institutes of consecrated life,too.The features of spiritual abuse are outlined,together with the urgency concerning an increased awareness about it.The Catholic Church,at a universal level,is in the process of delving more deeply into the phenomenon as it seeks to prepare useful guidelines with the aim of safeguarding the vulnerable who may be potential victims of this kind of abuse.The subtlety of the latter is coupled with the fact that it may be conveniently disguised under the cover of spiritual input,practices and prayer,as well as personal and communal spiritual relationships.展开更多
