According to Marx, socialism would replace capitalism and internationalism would occur through the dissolution of nation states. Later, Marxist circles presented a historical arrow in the form of 〉 capitalism 〉 socialism 〉 internationalism. Taking into account recent steps of globalization and measures imposed by national governments in the face of the deep financial crisis of 2008, it is interesting to compare the above theory with some historical events that have happened since the 19th century. Much has happened that Marx did not predict. The increasing use of UAV-based LiDAR systems for high-resolution mapping highlights the need for reliable,field-validated accuracy assessment methods.This study presents a practical technique for evaluating geometric...The increasing use of UAV-based LiDAR systems for high-resolution mapping highlights the need for reliable,field-validated accuracy assessment methods.This study presents a practical technique for evaluating geometric and radiometric performance using georeferenced,high-reflectivity foil targets.The method enables precise extraction of target centers and correction of systematic georeferencing errors through 3D transformation.The approach was applied at the Tora Cement Factory in Cairo,Egypt—an industrial site with complex topography—using a DJI Matrice 300 RTK UAV equipped with the Zenmuse L1 LiDAR sensor and Zenmuse P1 photogrammetric camera.Three test flights were performed at altitudes of 50 m(nadir and oblique)and 70 m(oblique),with a high-resolution Structure-from-Motion(SfM)point cloud generated for reference.After transformation,the global RMSE of the LiDAR dataset was reduced to approximately 2.8∼3.2 cm,improving upon the raw uncorrected accuracy of up to 4.6 cm.Surface-wise comparisons showed RMSEs of 3.1 cm on flat areas,3.8 cm on rugged terrain,and 4.5 cm on vertical structures.Additionally,the RGB data embedded in the LiDAR point cloud exhibited a systematic spatial offset between 18 and 43 cm,with an average internal standard deviation near 5 cm,indicating a potential limitation for radiometric applications.The proposed method offers a cost-effective,accurate,and repeatable solution for UAV LiDAR validation and supports operational deployment,quality assurance,and system calibration in real-world scenarios.展开更多

Methods: This study was analyzed retrospectively, and the time period w...Objective: To realize the effect and clinical value of implementing oral metronidazole + miconazole nitrate in patients with recurrent vaginosis. Methods: This study was analyzed retrospectively, and the time period was controlled from April 2020 to August 2021.200 consecutive patients with recurrent candida vaginitis in our hospital were admitted and randomized, and 100 consecutive patients were included in each group. The control group was given metronidazole treatment, and the observation group used miconazole nitrate based on the control group. The disease recurrence rate, incidence of adverse reactions, time to clinical symptom improvement, clinical efficacy, Candida clearance rate, and vaginal health status were observed and compared. Results: The clinical efficacy of the observed group was 97.00%, the incidence of adverse reactions was only 3.00%, 88.00% and 11.00% of the control groups, respectively, and P 0.05. In the observation group treated with combination therapy, the patients had a short improvement time of clinical symptoms, a good vaginal health status, and a high vaginal cleanliness, with P 0.05. Patients in the post-treatment observation group had higher Candida clearance and lower disease recurrence rate, and the data were P 0.05 compared to the control group. Conclusion: Oral metronidazole plus miconazole nitrate in treating recurrent candida vaginitis can shorten the clinical symptoms, improve the vaginal health and improve the clinical effect.展开更多

From 2001 to 2012,many local governments in China closed down village teaching sites for primary school students in the first and second grades,consolidating them into larger township schools more distant from village...From 2001 to 2012,many local governments in China closed down village teaching sites for primary school students in the first and second grades,consolidating them into larger township schools more distant from village students’homes.School closure and consolidation are particularly striking in China’s central and western regions,where swathes of rural labor migrated to cities for jobs.As a result,numerous primary school pupils are forced to study at boarding schools in the first and second grades,which is considered as too early for pupils to live without parental care.This paper employs survey data from 137 township schools with boarding qualifications collected by a project team consisting of researchers from the China Institute for Educational Finance Research(CIEFR)of Peking University,the Institute of Population and Labor Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(IPLE-CASS)and the Capital University of Economics and Business(CUEB).By matching the home-school distance with village teaching site information as the proxy variable for the school consolidation policy,this paper evaluates the policy's impact on the likelyhood of premature boarding for primary school pupils,as well as the impact on their human capital accumulation.Our study finds that the creation of teaching sites makes it less likely for primary school pupils to board at school.Premature boarding impedes children’s human capital accumulation,and the harmful effect is particularly striking for children lacking pastoral teachers,raised by grandparents and from families above average income levels,as well as girls.展开更多
